On this thread you will find a list of Playable Characters, Non-Playable Characters, and the Character Sheet Skeleton code as well. Concerning the NPCs, they will become listed as Playable Characters if all Playable Characters are taken and other writers still wish to join. NPCs may also become Playable Characters if a writer decides to kill off their current PC for the sake of the story. As mentioned in the rules, Face Claims and Mutations are non-negotiable. You'll find that all characters, PC and NPC alike, come with a decent amount of information to give you a good idea of what I'm looking for with these characters. I ask that you stick to what is given because I've worked long and hard on the creation of these characters. I leave it to you to give them life. Thank you.

Growing up, Rosetta never imagined she'd be where she is now. Raised by a Catholic father, she and her brother were ripped from their mother's arms when they were unable to fully control the mutations that they were born with. It was a hard-knock life for them as the Brazilian government secretly trained and used the two of them along with other mutants as secret weapons. She escaped as a teenager with some of the others, having lost her brother to the harsh training some years ago. After hightailing it to New York City, she became a righteous and rage driven serial killer, eventually picked up by the Brotherhood of Mutants, working for them. Terrified of what she might become and what might be done to her, Professor Charles Xavier and the X-Men rescued her and raised her as best as they could. Her rage was tamed and she began to adjust, even going to college and eventually becoming a Professor and soon thereafter, the leader of the X-Men and the Headmistress.

This young man is the son of Kurt Wagner and Wanda Maximoff-Wagner. He obtained a few of his mother's abilities as well as his father's abilities, though he is capable of using the powers he inherited from his mother to hide his true, cerulean appearance that marks him as a member of Azazel's line. He was born in secret from his father, hidden by his mother. However, once he learned this at the age of fourteen, he ran away to live with his father. He used to be so polite and outgoing; Everyone loved hanging around him and he was the resident goof before going off to Notre Dame, eventually becoming their star quarterback. However, when his family was divided by death and depowering he became very cold and volatile, detached from the world. He dropped out of college and returned to Xavier's Academy for good after his mother's death, distressed from the loss of so many family members in less than a week. He will sometimes speak with his old friends from his younger years at Xavier's and has, begrudgingly, accepted the alias of Creeper, called so for moping about high places and watching people pass by.

One look at this British-Canadian tells you that she's the daughter of the man they call "Wolverine". However, once she opens her mouth, that resemblance fades away rather quickly. While she might look like a doe eyed college sophomore with those big violet orbs of hers, she's actually in her mid-fifties. She is a woman of science, the fifth smartest person in the world. She obtained four PhDs before she was twenty years old – One in Quantum Physics, one in Molecular Genetics, one in Nanotechnology, and one in Mechanical Engineering. She has studied every mutation known to date, mapped out the capabilities of them, and named them, having studied directly under Charles Xavier. She's definitely a tinkerer and has an obsession with weaponizing everything she can, in charge of the academy's defense systems.

One of the very few whose age really shows, he's seen as the father of the group even if he isn't the eldest. He watches over them and is more often the ones coming up with plans in rough situations. He was once a member of a mutant hero team based out of Cairo, Egypt. However, after the rest of his team was depowered he headed to the United States to Xavier's Academy for Gifted Youngsters to aid in any way that he could. He was offered a spot among the X-Men and he eagerly took it as well as a position teaching Physics, using his ability to manipulate the physics around him as a tool in education. He can sometimes be found in the garage, chatting nonstop with Dr. Howlett and exchanging ideas. While he doesn't boast as many PhDs, he is a brilliant physicist and is familiar with making and handling weapons. The smaller children seem to find him frightening because he always has a gun with him, taking it apart and putting it back together absentmindedly.

Like many others, she had developed her mutation earlier on in life. She grew up working as a mercenary for the government. She possesses the ability to immediately master any and every weapon that touches her hands as well as summon her own special weapons. She drew the line when the government began ordering her to hunt down and capture mutants for testing. After rescuing who she could, she destroyed their lab and dropped off of the radar. She's had a number of run ins with the X-Men but never joined them, roaming the world as a lone hero, fighting for equality and justice for her mutant brothers and sisters. After M-Day she wasn't sure what to do. However, she knew that it wasn't safe to be alone with humans out in lynch mobs looking for mutants. She left for New York City to join the X-Men so that she could carry on her mission of keeping mutants safe.

Skylar is a fierce child who is rather small for his age. He enjoys a good challenge looks up to the X-Men. He's had his mutation, which is the exact opposite of his sister's, since he was just two years old. Coming from a family where mutants weren't an uncommon occurrence, he and his twin were embraced. They attended Xavier's in the evening to learn how to control their powers. Recently, however, they've found themselves quickly among the ranks of orphans. Their parents were gunned down in front of them while trying to protect them after an outburst of his sister's powers left over a dozen girls dead at a sleepover. Skylar wants only to become an X-Man so he can help people. His greatest joys in life besides helping and his sister are greasy foods and painting.

Sophia is quite possibly one of the sweetest young things you'll ever meet in your life. She and her brother were born into wealth, their mother a famous dancer and their father a famous architect. Their mutations were welcomed within their family, though she's never been comfortable with hers. She sees herself as evil because of what she can do and is often conflicted between her desire to mingle and have friends and her fear that she might kill again by accident. She was constantly the butt of all the jokes at school, often called a schizo by other kids. She eventually mustered up the courage to attend a sleepover with other girls from her class. She was harassed relentlessly and was unable to control her outburst of power, instantly killing fifteen girls between the ages of nine and ten. After their parents were killed trying to save them, she was swept away with her brother by the X-Men. She now keeps mostly to herself, only comfortable around her brother and Caelan Howlett, as neither of them are affected by her powers.

Charlotte was born to a family that lived in poverty though she always had dreams of escaping her humdrum life and finding something more exciting. When she developed her mutation at the age of seven she trained herself and exploited it to get her way. At first, she was only able to know someone's fears just by concentrating on them. She used this knowledge to humiliate them. With enough training and practice, she was able to absorb that fear and use it to cast illusions that were a manifestation of that person's fear, now capable of knowing someone's deepest fears just by glancing at them. Through the use of her power, she gained money for her family and moved them out of poverty. With her new lavish lifestyle, she grew spoiled and vain, seeing the world as hers for the taking. She was thirteen when she was recruited by The Brotherhood of Mutants. She enjoyed her time with them and got a kick out of absorbing the fear of humans and causing them further fear, soon elevating her abilities to the point she could cause death by heart attack. However, she wasn't quite as twisted as the rest. When radical ideas came into play she bailed. After M-Day occurred, her family forced her to go to Xavier's for protection, fearing that her former victims would come after her.

Tristan's family, like many others, was not a fan of mutations. Many people ask “What if it was you or one of your loved ones?” The Jenkos knew exactly what they'd do if it was one of their own: They kicked Tristan out. Not wanting to become a pariah in case people found out, loving their social status more than anything, they told him that he had to go. However, they weren't completely heartless about it. They gave him a bank account that they deposited a generous sum of money into twice per month, paid for his college tuition, and sent him letters. They just didn't want to be seen with him. He was fourteen when he moved into Xavier's as a permanent resident and eighteen when he graduated and headed for the University of Birmingham as a poetry major. He's an easy guy to get along with and a favorite among children, especially when the time comes for bedtime stories. After M-Day, he found himself dropping out of college to help out at Xavier's where he is now a Literature Professor – Despite lacking proper credentials.

Like most others, her mutation developed during her teenage years. She was twelve when she found herself overloaded with feelings to the point that it became physically painful. Her parents assured her that it was just puberty, her hormones acting up and such. But she knew it wasn't. It took her a few months to figure out that it was the emotions of the people around her that she was feeling. It took her a few years to separate her emotions from those of others, eventually capable of shutting everyone out completely. She worked tirelessly on her own to learn how to control her powers, not wanting to ask for help. She didn't want anyone to know. She went through her entire life never telling anyone about her ability. She'd sometimes use it for personal advantage, swaying the emotions of others, but never anything drastic. She graduated from Harvard and became a family lawyer. When she found out about Xavier's, she headed there at once and offered her services. She handles the paperwork that allows Xavier's to take in underage children, using her powers to sway parents who've disowned their children into signing over parental rights to the Professors. Because of her powers, she also serves as the academy's therapist.

Unlike his sister, Caelan does not look at all like the child of Logan Howlett. He looks more like his father's father. While his father stopped aging as a middle-aged man and his sister stopped aging when she hit her twenties, Caelan was nearly fifty before his aging halted. They can only guess that it has something to do with his powers concerning death. Or maybe it's just something random. Either way, it's always funny to see him calling Logan "Dad" or "Pops". Like his dad, he was originally more of a loner. He didn't attend Xavier's and never became an active member of the academy until his father retired and asked him to lend a helping hand. He had visited before so he was familiar and quite friendly with most of the students and such, so he didn't mind. It was nice having a place to settle anyways -- He'd always been more of a nomad. While he looks quite serious at first, he's one of the more childish members of the staff and can be caught helping students get into trouble while adjusting to their new life -- Caelan loves children. However, he still has that famous Howlett temper. He often refrains from using his mutation, as it brings out a darkness in him that he doesn't like (only because it scares the children), but that doesn't mean that he won't still kick someone's ass the old school way. He's recently adopted Sophia and Skylar Rasgard with Nina's help, as he was the only one that they were willing to go to.

He isn't the brightest star in the sky. He was given up as an infant by his mother, Rahne Sinclair, a young woman at the time who didn't feel fit to be a mother and with no idea as to who his real father was. Not thinking that he would turn out like her, she placed him up for a closed adoption and gave him to a couple she believed would take care of him. But soon after, his life became hell. He had his first shift when he was seven years old and his adoptive parents were frightened and angry. Not knowing he was a mutant, they believed that he was possessed by a demon. They caged and collared him, keeping him locked in their basement while performing daily "cleansing rituals" and even trying to have him exorcised. But nothing worked. By the time he was eleven they were beating him just for fun. He recently managed to escape, murdering those who tortured him. He's doing his best to learn and fit in, but his social skills and intelligence are highly limited, possessing the knowledge and mental capacity of a five year old.
