Skylar Evans
A buzz rang through Skylar Evans ears. Her hand flew up and slammed down on the snooze button on her digital alarm clock. She weakly open one eye and glanced at the time. 6:30 AM. Time to get ready for school. Sighing, Skylar threw the blankets off her slender figure and twisted her legs off her bed and stood up. She stretched as she stood up and looked down, yawning. She had on the white and blue shorts she always wore and her white tank. It was her usual sleeping clothes. Skylar trudged her way to her small bathroom. It was small, hardly any room to do anything, but it was her own, and she was happy with that. Letting out another yawn, Skylar reached in through the shower curtains and turned on the water, starting with hot first. After it was as hot as it'd get, she turned on a little cold-she didn't want to risk burning her skin.
When she was sure the water was fine, Skylar took off her pajamas and threw them in the dirt clothes basket sitting next to the blue-green toilet. She then let her hair down and shook it free before stepping in the shower. She winced just a bit as the water hit her skin, surprising her a little bit. In a matter of seconds, she was used to it and began washing off her body and hair. Once all the soap was rinsed off, she bent to the side and turned the knobs, turning the water off. Her arm reached out of the shower and grabbed the towel hanging over the sink. She wrapped it around her slender figure before pulling the curtain aside and stepping out. She wiped the fog off the bathroom mirror and sighed, staring at her reflection, tilting her head to the side.
She walked back into her bedroom and looked around, hands on her hips. She then walked into her closet to find something to wear. Finally deciding on her Forever 21 dress and brown sandals. She decided to just blow-dry and leave her hair down that day, falling in shimmering and silky waves around her face. She skipped downstairs and made herself some Fruity Pebbles cereal with toast and jam. She sat down at the table, with a glass of orange juice, and eat her breakfast in peace. She figured nobody else must be up yet, so she kept quite and decided to let them rest.
After she finished eating, Skylar washed her breakfast dishes and left them in the dish drainer to dry as she went back up to her room, as quite as a mouse, and back into her bathroom. She took out her green toothbrush and applied on some Wintergreen toothpaste and started brushing her teeth. After that was done, she rinsed her mouth with some minty mouthwash and then put on her natural-colored make-up. Just a little beige eyeshadow with light pink gloss. She then grabbed up her butterfly messenger bag and slung it over her shoulder, at the same time grabbing up her purse that she got this past Christmas from her best friend.
When she was downstairs, she grabbed the keys to her Toyota Chevy Cruze. When she was sure that she had everything she needed, Skylar headed outside to her car. She opened the drivers' door and threw her bag and purse in the front seat. She was then heading to her school she went to.
Phillip Jackson
This morning was like any other for Phillip. His alarm clock buzzed, waking him up along with the rest of his family; including his two year old baby sister. Sighing, Phillip turned the alarm off and stood up, stretching his aching muscles. His black silk boxers rested on his waist, ending a little above his knees. He was a morning person, so he woke easily. Phillip took a long shower last night right before we went to bed, so he figured he wouldn't take one this morning. Instead, he walked into his little sister's room and picked her up, kissing the side of her head. She giggled and looked up at her older brother with wide brown eyes. After giving her another kiss and telling her he loves her, Phillip set her back down on her bed and went back into his own bedroom.
Phillip opened the sliding wooden door to his closet and rummaged through his clothes, picking out his favorite white V-neck tee shirt and his black jeans with his white sneakers. After raking his hand through his short black hair, he grabbed up his black backpack and keys to his neon green car. After saying bye to his family, and little sister, he was in his car, backpack in the seat beside him, and headed to the high school, stopping by McDonald's to pick up a McMuffin and sweet tea.
