Awesome to know we're actually starting up. I feel as though my first post was obscenely long, so sorry about that...

And ElRey, you still get points because it was all over a bottle of booze.

Ahhhh, people are talking about their first posts and it makes me feel left out.

Irish and I are collaborating. I promise it should be amusing. [Rubs hands together in an evil manner.] Oh so very amusing (at least to me it will be).

Don't feel bad; I love people working together to make the story even [ ] that much more planned out and interesting :D

Oh, and ElRey, did you mean to insinuate that cooks were among the other "dregs of society" like prostitutes, drug dealers and thieves? I found that amusing :P
Edit: oh, I get it now. Drug makers, not little french guys in big white hats..

Oh; but I've forgotten! I've used this system with other roleplays and I love it to death; I'd like to have everyone use it from now on just to keep things simpler and cleaner. When posting, start each post with a title/header in parentheses listing the character's name, district (or general area, if out of Shy'cago), then their specific location. So, Kurokiku would have said (Ophelia, 2nd district, Ophelia's Apartment); ElRey, (Crawford, 1st District, Unknown Alley) or something to that effect. This way, we keep track of events, characters, and past events more easily.

If you could all edit your first posts to include this, great, if not, please at least humor me and use it starting now ;P

EDIT: I've fixed the district numbers in the post so they make sense now O_o Thanks Kurokiku ;P

Wait, the first district is the poorest, right? So Ophelia would be in the Second one?

Yeah, I changed the district numbers in my post, I'd mixed them up in my rush; you should see though, at the end of my post I said she was mask-less again. When the rats flooded in, she managed to switch sides of the street, and her get-up disappeared. Basically, it looks like a villain showed up and vanished, leaving Melody as "Innocent Bystander #3."

Oops. Sorry. I made the necessary adjustments to my own reply, though I don't think it ultimately affected anything. At any rate, thanks for the clarification. =)

So, Kurokiku; I figured your character was more removed from heroes and villains, and therefore needed more of a hook into the group, but, that said, you can still have some degree of control as to how far you want go with it. Should I have Ophelia stay with Melody, give her her own space, make a mentor NPC?

Going off of that same general topic, I'm also waiting on seeing more of what Ravager's up to, and whether or not bringing him in to this little meet up would work well.

Moving quickly down to 1st district regardless, both to "to avoid the Levani" and to meet up/run in to the other characters would also be a decent way to go.

Regardless, all of you! Tell me your thoughts, plans and etc.! Before bringing on any big/ground-shaking plot twists I want everyone to have met up with at least one other character, preferably at least two, just to get a network established so everybody reacts from other people's posts (I hate it when characters never meet so either a) five different individual stories with little correlation occur or b) the RP simply dies because people run out of material XP).

I think Ophelia would be pretty receptive to staying with Melody at this point; whether or not she changes her mind at a later point would probably have a lot to do with how exactly things play out. But I'm thinking that she's realized she needs a way out, and she'll take the best option available without considering it too much.

There do seem to be a few people coalescing in the first district, so you might be right about that too. I'm pretty okay with whatever.

Forgive me for neglecting this role-play. I did make a character for it but it seems that Fabricati failed to accept it. But, I wouldn’t blame her since it is highly unfinished. I have all of these ideas fresh in my mind luckily; though, I haven’t had the time to get it on paper. With school and my personal life, I’ve been far too busy to sit down and have time to myself. Lately however, I’ve been going down the list of priorities I have. So, I promise you I’ll finish my character and make my grand entrance here shortly. ;)

Yep, the character's just pending until I know more about 'im; I dislike losing veto power after accepting the character in advance :P

And sorry I've been so quiet lately, I swear I'm fighting through the masses of schoolwork to get to this D: I've got two papers and two projects to work on over the weekend though, plus work... Things are a mite bit hectic at the moment. (I always told myself that if *I* was a GM I wouldn't let an RP dwindle by not showing helping it along with events, haha... D:)

While it's good to see some rather healthy/well-paced activity, I'd love to see the others get involved. If you need help, or if I need to bring in Machina early to get others not involved in the 1st District scene going on, just let me know; I'll do what I can to help get the ball rolling, I just don't want to hunt people down D:

Also, I'd like to mention that I've been having trouble with the Activity part of the RP tab, in that I can't see any posts past the current page of updates... And from what I hear, that's just how it's been, though different people find the Activity tab glitching in different ways..? Anyway, I expected this after problems in a previous roleplay, so I've been saving a log of the RP; if anyone else has this problem and would like a copy or need a past post as reference, just let me know.

Hey all. Sorry for not posting perhaps as much as I should. I've been having some activity troubles (mainly internet connection related), but should have another post up by tomorrow.

I've been thinking on that; I was hoping to see Cataclysm's post pop up sometime as he'd said he was working on it and Ravager was following them at some point... But without that, any preferences? Unless Ophelia's nerves/touchy powers cause and minor disturbances of the force of enough note to change up what's going on, I guess it would have been Melody that would have walked into the situation first as she had more confidence/experience with the other two... Sound good?

At this point, I don't think she'd have an episode unless someone spooked her, so I think it makes more sense for Melody to do it. Either way is fine with me though.
