Hi all, just doing the introduction thing!

I have been playing computer RPGs for a long time but haven't tried role-playing in this format before. It looks interesting, and seems to be very active with a lot of variety so hopefully I will enjoy it.

Hey there, Welcome to the Gateway.

Since you've never tried this type of roleplay before, I suggest seeking help from a higher power if you feel uncomfortable just jumping in. Of course the best way to learn is often by doing things yourself. If you hang around and read some roleplays, you can get a good feel for what is supposed to happen here. Then again, you may feel comfortable getting some help and thats just fine. :P There is a Roleplay Academy you could check out too.

If you ever need help, PM me or the other staff members, we'd be delighted to help. Of course, the other members are just as helpful as well.

Anyway, I hope you have fun here! Its been a blast for me!
Speak softly and carry a big stick.
That way, when they dont hear you, you can hit them in the knees.

Well, Aelita, by the strictest definition of the term, this is a site for Computer RPG's. Unless you're using a cell' 'phone or some such to access the internet.
