Hi Kayne Wræth! Welcome to RPG! There are tons of role-plays going on here all at once in various genres. If you haven't role-played before, no worries everyone here is very helpful.

Since you are new to the site, here is a link to the rules, there aren't many; so that’s great! We also have a role-playing guide as well as a role-playing academy to help explain how Text-Based role-plays work and help develop or improve your skills. I'd check those out as they are extremely helpful and will get you familiar with how things are done in RPGateway.

Most importantly, feel free to ask anyone, staff or community member if you need help with anything. Don’t how or where to start? Check out the links here or click on the chat tab in the upper right. People in chat are always willing to answer questions.

Kaedai is just paranoid. The only zombies here are SpringTimeFox. And that's just because she spends all day, every day making roleplays, I think.

*huggles Fractal* Yes, I make roleplays all day long everyday and yet you haven't joined one. Hmmmmm :P


To get to the point, welcome to the Gateway, Kayne. Its great here. Pop over and read the rules and when you're done with that, you should join people in the chat. Its the best way to meet people here. We're all friendly, no one is mean. Feel free to join any roleplay you like (as long as the rules say its ok) and enjoy your stay!

If you have any questions, you may PM me or anyone else with a blue name like mine, for we are the support staff. Just as well, you can PM anyone else. We're all equally helpful, but the varying degrees of real-world lives we have is a major factor in being a support staff member :P

I hope you enjoy it here, I know I sure have :D
(I'm addicted to smilies, but please dont take my stupid OOC chatter for an example of my roleplaying skillz. :D )
Speak softly and carry a big stick.
That way, when they dont hear you, you can hit them in the knees.
