Hello!

Well, my name's punkwithflute, but you can call me Punk.

Here's a little about myself:

I came up with the name 'punkwithflute' back when I was in band and well, played flute. I still own my flute and can play, but I'm not really good at it. I use this name on multiple other sites with slight changes like punk-with-flute and punk_with_flute. The name just stuck.

I haven't done a lot of RPs, but I want to get into it more. And by that I mean that I've only done two. One was when I was 13 on FanFiction.net and the other is on The Dollars RP forms. My friend and I like to act out our stories to get a better grasp on the characters, so I've gotten good with working with people in story writing. When posting I like to have at lest one paragraph with lots of details.

I like all types of genres as long as they hold some grasp of reality. I want to be able to relate things to the real world or even have the story it's self pull the real world into it. Romance is fun too. I'm open to have any of my characters be involved romantically with another.

As for hobbies, I like video games, drawing, writing, anime, and cosplaying. I also love going to cons and doing horror/zombie make-up. My favorite cosplay right now is my Hunter(Left 4 Dead).

I'm Cloasse and I've been here for over two years now. I've enjoyed most of my time here and I've made friends that I feel like I've known forever. Like you, I enjoy roleplays that have a bit more of reality instilled -- science fiction and fantasy aren't my fortes at all, but I've dabbled in the latter. :D You'll also find plenty of people who share your hobbies here, so you should meet and make friends very quickly!

You'll find plenty of opportunity for roleplaying here with those of many different skill levels, so whether you're feeling a bit rusty and fancy easing yourself back into the world of RP slowly or you want to just jump in at the deep end, there's a myriad of people and games that you can get involved with.

Well hello there, punkwithflute, and as my colleague here already said, welcome to Gateway. Hopefully, she provided you with an adequate description of what we're all about here. My name is Zephyr, your resident avatar of fiery blue entrances, windy things, and pi, and I am here to spam you with relevant links.

First and foremost, be sure you read up on the Rules. It's always best to know what to avoid doing when first joining a site, so as to avoid any unnecessary run-ins with the Mods.

Now, if you're still finding it a tad difficult to navigate the site, I would highly suggest perusing The Newbie's Guide to RPG. It has a plethora of great tips on how to integrate yourself into our little society.

If you've read the rules, you feel that you have a general grasp on our format, and you're ready to Roleplay, the Roleplayers Wanted Board is a great place to look. Alternatively, you could also check the Interest Checks Board for not-yet-created Roleplay ideas.
