"Well I'm sure whatever house you get in will be the right one, even if you do make it in Gryffindor, I'm sure you'll learn to love it." Fera said reassuringly. "Yes, if we are in the same house, it would be awesome!" she agreed as the door slid open. "No thanks, I'm fine," she said with a smile to the lady. In truth she had no idea what was on the cart, that and she had to watch her money since she only had a little from her brother. She was just grateful she wasn't hungry. "So do you have any siblings coming here with you?" she asked Ilse.

"All five of them," she answered stiffly. Biting off the head of her Chocolate Frog, the tiny eleven year old waved it around emphatically. "I suppose I should go visit them and get lunch. They've got two whole compartments with their friends up front. All my stuff is stationed there, and they're probably got loads of candy. I know, you can come with me and see my kitten." Her eyes grew wide and excited. "His name is Isaac and he's the most adorable creature in the world!"

Talking about Isaac made her unusually happy, like a little girl obsessed with ponies. Ilse stood up sharply and left the compartment, motioning for Fera to follow. "Come on!" She walked down the aisle amidst the loud chattering of students, and finally came to the compartment where her siblings lounged. They greeted her enthusistically, but she ignored them and went straight to her trunk. Isaac leapt up and pawed at his cage as soon as he saw her.

She let him out and cradled him, her face radiant.

Mya grinned when William ate the wet dog flavored bean, "You've got to be careful with candy like that." she said, "Once I got one flavored 'vomit' and eww was it gross, it had a cheesy taste to it, so watch out for orange speckled ones."
Than she noticed that William didn't get any candy, so she handed him a chocolate frog, "Here, you can have one of mine, I won't eat it."

It was already past dark, when Hogwarts came into view.
"Oh, yeah!" Mya whooped, "We're almost there." She looked down, "We better hurry and get out robes on." she opened up her trunk and pulled out her black school robes and put them on.

"Five?" Fera asked in disbelief as she followed Ilse down the train towards where her family was. "Really? I've always wanted a cat, but my baby brother is allergic to them, we never could," she frowned slightly and then cooed as she saw the baby kitten. "Oh my gosh, he's so adorable!" she petted his head gently. "I have an owl though, it's weird having a bird, don't know why, but it's like he is smarter than normal." She continued to pet the kitten. She looked out the window, it seemed like the train was slightly starting to slow down. "I'm going to go get my robes on," she said, seeing that the other students were already wearing theirs. She felt a bit bashful that she was still in her 'muggle' clothes.

"Hmmm, that's a good idea." Seeing as her trunk was already in front of her, Ilse was quickly able to obtain her robes. Her siblings promised to lock Isaac back into his cage, and she followed Fera back to their compartment so they could change. Not particularly vain, the girl shrugged on her robes and peered instead out the window.

"It's beautiful," she said softly. Despite all of the descriptions her brothers and sisters and given her, Ilse was still more than marginally impressed.

Anika saw a large castle come into view 'this must be Hogwarts', she thought, becoming very excited. She heard someone say something about putting robes on from a compartment down the train's corridor. Quickly, Anika stood and slipped her robes on. She had a huge smile on her face, ready to step foot in the large castle and to experience all the magical wonder possible. The first thing she thought of upon realization of the castle being Hogwarts was the adventure that she would soon face. She wanted to explore the grounds, but apparently there'd be a dinner that night. Anika began to plan for the weekend, hoping that she wouldn't have a lot of homework; she'd explore the grounds and maybe the large forest that could be seen a little away from the castle.

Her robes were now on and she sat down, shifting in her seat from the excitement that ran through her blood. She could barelly stay still.

Professor Blackwood could hear the train whistle in the distance. She was always somewhat excited for the new school year; she liked to see the bright faces of the first years, especially those who knew nothing about the wizarding world. Anabal also liked the feeling that one among them could end up being the greatest wizard to ever exist and she would've been able to take credit for teaching them about transfiguration. Sure it was unlikely, but that's why it's called imagination. Although happy and ready to greet the fiorst years, Professor Blackwood kept her composure, allowing the crazy thoughts to only go through her mind, not to be read on her face.

The train came to a stop and everyone started to get out.
"First years!" Came a call, "First years! Follow me!" The person who was talking was the games keeper, Bjorn Grump.
"Come on, all of you!" He cried.
Bjorn was a big, heavy man. With a brown-gray goatee. He was about 6'4 and wearing a great brown robe.
"Come on, leave your luggage and birds an all!" He said to one boy who was trying to carry all of his stuff.
"Into the boats you go!" He said.

Mya came out holding her toad, she couldn't leave her Lily behind.
She followed the games keeper to the boats with the rest of the first years.

Fera quickly changed into her roes, it was slightly confusing at first since she hadn't ever worn them before. Though she was quickly ready and marvled at the castle as the train came to a stop. She began to heave her trunk down the train and onto the platform. She was so relieved that she didn't have to take it further. "Sh, settle down Artemis, you'll be alright," she spoke gently to her bird, trying to calm the poor owl down. After a few minutes she looked up to locate Ilse. "Come on, let's get a boat!" she said and ran towards the boats, sad to leave her bird behind.

Anika made her way off the train; noticing that others didn't have their trunks, she too left hers behind. She followed the large man calling out to the first years, along with the other first years. He lead the way to an assortment of boats over a grand lake that dazzled Anika. It was so pretty in the night with the stars reflecting over the lake. She thought it was absolutely beautiful - better than London had been; too many lights for her taste. Anika loved being able to see so many stars in the night sky. Not wanting to push anyone or rush, she waited for most of the other first years to board the boats before she made any sort of attempt of her own.

Anabal Blackwood looked out from the castle window overlooking the lake and could see the crowd of first years clamboring onto the boats with Bjorn leading them. She stood there, still, barelly moving at all, holding her professional appearance although inside she was exploding with excitement. Soon she'd get to see all of the new witches and wizards; how lovely.

John made his way off the train, leaving his trunk behind seeing that the others had done the same. He smiled at the feel of his robes and got in a boat. He gasped in surprise as he took in the sight of the lake. It was a smooth black color in the starlight. The moon's reflection flickered in the lake. It was a truly breathtaking site, especially when John caught sight of the castle itself. He shivered. He could almost feel the magic in the air.
"A beautiful sight, mate," Ico hissed, sounding like he himself was breathtaken. John nodded in agreement.

Ilse stepped into one of the low wooden boats rather nervously. It was dark, and the water looked deep. "I don't fancy falling in," she whispered to Fera, moving closer towards the middle. The small brunette was not an accomplished swimmer.

But soon the majestic image of Hogwarts drove all fear out of her mind. Ilse really felt proud to be a witch at that moment, to be able to live and study in that castle. She thought of her siblings, always speaking of Hogwarts as a home away from home, and knew she would feel the same way.

"Don't worry, I'll save you so you won't drown if you do fall in," Fera said with a friendly smile as she looked up at the massive castle. It was quite impressive, and she never really had seen a castle before. The windows were glowing softly, as though welcoming them to the new adventures awaiting them. The boats glided soundlessly across the dark water towards the castle. "It's amazing," she whispered in awe. It was definately much more than she had imagined.

Anika finally made her way onto one of the last boats before they began to move. She was confused by the fact that the boats moved without any paddles, that is, until she told herself that she was in a magical world now and anything was possible. Anika had never been on a boat before, not even a non-magical one, and for a first time, she thought it was fantastic. A permanent smile was plastered on her face mixed in with awe and excitement. The castle drew closer and closer; she was ready to jump out and try her hand at swimming (something she had never done either) if it would get her there faster.

Mya climbed into a boat, holding Lily tight to her chest.
When everyone climbed in a boat (Bjorn had one for himself) they started moving.

"Whoa." Mya whispered to herself in awe, "They can move by themselves!" He excitement grew even more intense when they caught sight of the castle.
It sure is huge, Mya thought.
she looking in the murky water and quickly grabbed the side of the boat with her spare hand.
"I sure don't want to fall in." She muttered to herself.

John shivered in anticipation as they approached the castle. This was what he had been waiting for his entire life. He knew it. Here, he would become a powerful wizard and prove he was more than a peniless orphan. Here, his ambition would be nurtured until he became the best he could be. The Magical World would open a door for him to a life he could scarcely imagine.

Finally the boats reached the castle. Anika jumped out of the boat she had been in before it had stopped completely. She couldn't help her excitement and although she wanted to run off into the castle, she waited for everyone else to exit the boats and waited for Bjorn to start walking before she made any sort of move (afterall, he was a big man and, let's face it, a little intimidating).

Professor Blackwood watched the boats hit land from the window she had been looking through the entire time. Calmly, she walked to the stairs in front of the Great Hall to wait for the first years. She knew that it would still be some time before they arrived in front of her but she was anxious and couldn't help but try and fast forward time by doing things sooner than necessary.

William changed into his robes with the rest of the students when asked, and he left his baggage in the cart as he followed the others to the boat.

The sight of the lake was awing, WIlliam found his mouth agape at its majestic beauty. He wanted to jump into the water and relish in its magical aura. Then the castle came into sight, with just as much beauty and even more magic.

This was a dream come true for William. Something he had never before experienced, and he loved it. It made him so excited to see all of the magic, the beauty, and to see his dreams come into fruitation. William couldn't wait to start classes, to be sorted into a house, to persue his dreams.

Then, his boat hit the land, and in a bare instant William leaped out of the boat and onto the ground, thrilled by this experience, eager to begin. "come on come on, hurry up!" William told the other kids, trying to speed things up. "Lets go!" He helped others off of the boat, and eagerly waited to get into the castle.

Fera looked at the castle in awe as the boats were drawing closer to it. Right now she didn't care if she would be put in the wrong house, just the fact that she'd be at this magnificent school was enough for her. The fact that she would be learning magic and being apart of this community made her smile. The boats jolted slightly as they came to a stop. She got out of the boat, stumbling slightly. She gathered with the rest of the students, fully excited and just ready to start magic that very moment. "I can't believe it!" she whispered happily as they waited for the other students to join them.

Sage Dunburry stumbled and fell out of the boat he was in onto land. He was flat on his face, and pushed himself up out of the dirt.

A few people glanced at him, but most were looking at the castle. At least he had averted that much embarrassment.

He stood and wiped off his face with his sleaves, then wiped his dirty hands on his robe. He did not like his clothes to be dirty, but better them than his skin.

Above the students towered Hogwarts School. Sage had imagined many things about the place on the way here, but certainly not a castle! He got back to his feet and rejoined the rest of the first-years, eager and nervous for what was to come.

Ilse stepped out of the wooden boat carefully and joined Fera and the others on the shore. More than a few first years were literally hopping with excitement, their eyes trained on the castle. One boy even fell over. He sagely wiped the dirt off of his face with his sleeves and resumed looking at the castle.

"You missed a spot," Ilse told him abruptly, pointing to his cheek. Pulling a pale golden handkerchief from her pocket, she stepped close and handed it to him. "Use this. I'm certain you don't want to enter Hogwarts looking shabby." She flashed him a polite but dispassionate smile and returned to standing next to Fera.
