What is a forum? I'm kinda new to actual professional dedicated forums like this? But I will try.
I'm PerfectSilence, just Silence will do, no need to make myself seem too boastful ;). I'm probably one of the youngest members here, too. I won't divulge my age for fear of making everyone feel old but I am still in high school.
I come from Australia, please excuse how I spell correctly. I enjoy vegemite toast, meat pies, I am a girl and I'm extremely slack when it comes to work, but this place looks really cool and interesting and I like cool and interesting things so maybe I can cut out my slack-ness.
My apologies if I fumble around for a little while (read: forever), like I said, it's my first time.

Hey Silence. I'm dealing with it, aka Deal aka Dwit. I also enjoy Vegemite. Not every day, but I have some in my cupboard.
So, I'm a moderator. This means that I'm volunteering my time to help the community; if there are any questions you have, just ask one of us green-names.
I usually spend my time in the Discussion and Debate forum because I find people's beliefs fascinating. D&D is a good way to get the ten posts that you need to get to unlock the Private Messaging feature.
Anyway, what sort of roleplaying have you tried so far? Real-time chats? Longer posts with paragraphs?
Also, what genre of fiction interests you?
