An Introduction of sorts.

Hello.
So I suppose I will 'introduce' myself.
I've never been really good at that.

So I'll focus on my roleplaying habits first.
It has been quite some time since I have actually roleplayed, almost a year now. (Too long for me)
Last night I was overcome with nostalgia for a decent roleplay that I broke down, and googled roleplay sites. How sad.
I came upon this site, and decided to give it a chance. I usually do chat based roleplay, I've never tried forum based roleplay. I also used to play World of Warcraft, then my computer decided it hated me. Yes. So that was done. Then my last site that I frequented for roleplay decided that it was made of fail. So here I am. I prefer fantasy roleplay of some sort, but I'm pretty much open to all kinds.
I tend to ramble.

Well...
I am a inexperience humanoid creature of the female variety.
I enjoy writing. Usually poetry. *rolls eyes*
I'm also working on writing a play..
I'm in theater. I love it, its a passion, along with writing.

I'm not sure what to say. I'm very bad at these.

Hey there, welcome to the Gateway. Its great here. Pop over and read the rules and when you're done with that, you should join people in the chat. Its the best way to meet people here. We're all friendly, no one is mean. Feel free to join any roleplay you like (as long as the rules say its ok) and enjoy your stay!

If you have any questions, you may PM me or anyone else with a blue name like mine, for we are the support staff. Just as well, you can PM anyone else. We're all equally helpful, but the varying degrees of real-world lives we have is a major factor in being a support staff member

The closest I've ever been to theater was being in a pit band for the musical Oklahoma. It was awesome.

I'm not to great with poetry, though. If you'd like to join any of the roleplays I have created, dont hesitate to post/pm a profile. I can help you with thread-based roleplays, but so can anyone else here, for the most part. You seem to have the same interests as me. Maybe we should get together and make a roleplay? It would be awesome. I'd also like to brush up on my chat-based roleplay skillz, since I haven't done that since oh... about five years ago.

Greetings. Zillah... doesn't that mean darkness in Hebrew or some such language?
We are humanoid creatures of the only-partially-sane variety. We enjoy roleplaying, playing roles, and ole-ray aying-play. Anything else along the same lines is pretty much fair game also.
If you wish to pm anyone, try someone sane. There are a few of them around here. But they don't come out often. Maybe its something about the fact that we hunt them down and shoot them. Oh, got to go. I just saw one sneaking around the Welcome desk. I promised to kill it, and I always keep my promises... unless crackers are involved. Crackers and cheese... they taste really good. Oh, there goes another one. Now where did I put my blow-darts?

Once upon a time, a website started. Now you're here. Welcome. And stuff. Try to, you know, shy away from people like Ghost. Like, if possible. Or, you know, don't, but pretend you're trying. Whatever suits you.

Hah. Thank you. You all seem very interesting so far. Ghost seems like fun.

Zillah is a biblical name, meaning Shade in Hebrew, so Ghost, you are basically correct. Zillah was the wife of...someone in the bible, the name escapes me at the moment. Ah, Lamech ( I looked it up ) Second wife, to be precise. Hurrah. I'm sure I will enjoy my stay, since this place seems to be filled with friendly and interestingly unique characters.
I'm just a bit, shy at first especially in forum roleplay, I can't really explain why. But the getting together and starting a roleplay sounds very promising, Fox Support Team person. We'll have to look into that.

Anyway, I'll stop my rambling. Thanks again for the welcome.

Fellow playwrights are the most epic of win imaginable. I started the official playwright society at my university here, so that's definitely something I can very much so respect. Another new one breaking into my "Favorite RoleplayGateway Members" list.

And it seems like everybody else has taken the liberty of delivering more pertinent and relevant introductions than my ranting could possibly provide, which I suppose it most likely a good thing on many accounts. Such being said, you enjoy yourself here and all that. And if you enjoy chat roleplaying, in addition to the site's official HTTP chat, we do have an IRC room that's frequented by only the most hardcore of the hardcore, if you're of such a persuasion. Either way, just enjoy your time here, and if you have any questions, the administrative staff is just as qualified as those silly support folks too, so don't be a stranger.
