I do about 30 to 35 thousand miles a year for work and have learned the only way to stay remotely sane is leave big gaps and don't stress because otherwise it will kill you.

Oddly enough, Melfina the car you describe, pre 1968 was my dream car too. However since Gone In 60 Seconds it's now a 1967 Shelby Cobra 500. Modified to look like Eleanor.
