Mobile Suit Gundam: Terra Sign-up thread

This is the sign-up thread for an rp that I would like to play with. I hope that a ton of people are willing to sign up and will be willing to discover the hidden mysteries within the story to unfold.

The setting:

C.A. (Colonial Ascension) 120s - The United States of America is at this point under the indirect thumb of corporations who privatize almost everything the average human being needs to survive or promote identity as an American. By this century, the entire nation has fallen under a state of apathy and anomie.
C.A. 128 - Visionary Republican President Brendon Tiberius Sage is elected with a demonstration of charisma and knowledge that has not been seen in a politician in decades. Runs on a campaign of giving a new face to the American people. Almost all of Corporate America opposes him, but the popular vote is enough to carry him to the Presidency.
C.A. 128-132 - After a 4 year period of wrestling control from the corporations of America, an assassination attempt is made on Brendon Sage. After being hospitalized for three weeks, he reappears to the public despite his injury. Upon this announcement, the second American Revolution occurs and the overhaul of the American nation begins...

The year is 162 after Colonial Ascension. 30 years have passed since the Terran Unificaiton War began.

All these years ago, President Brendon Sage ended the United States of America as it was an took control for himself. Immediatley afterwards, he ordered for a full conquest of the Earth renatmin his county as the terrifying new superpower, The Terran Republic. All shadows of the old Aemrica are gone, replaced only by the militaistic republic with no intention of diplomacy. Since the 30 years, Brendon Sage is still the leader of the Terran Republic and now controls 70% of the Earth.

The Republic has now begun a final push to conquer the entire Earth. The prevailing quesiton is however, what does the Republic intend to do after the Earth is taken? If the Rpeublic succeeds in taking the Earth, that quesiton may soon be answered...

Here are some concepts to take into consideration:
-There are two "Terran Types" that have been created at this point in the future. Alpha Terrans are normal everyday humans while Beta Terrans are genetically modified humans through either the use of artificial insemination or lab growth. Beta Terrans are also pre-determined in the labs to follow a specific talent and specialize in their determined area. The result allows them to act, think, and perform 1.5 times faster than most advanced A.I. units.
-There is a further mystery behind the Unification War, once the final throughs have been fought, the plan will be revealed.
-Roleplay will begin once we have someone to be the Terran Republic and at least two other nations standing in opposition. Characters are more important for the flow of the story however.

Here's my sign-up for the rp, do hope to hear from some other candidates.

Name of Nation: United Kingdom of Scandinavia
Age of Nation: 205 years
History: Long ago, the three households of Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, and Denmark) began to account the possibilities of competing with the United States and Chinese in the race to launch the first colony into space as well as the rise to a great economic power. After several generations, the three households became intertwined almost as one family and convinced the people to unite as one nation. Finland eventually followed to be a key factor in building the first colony. After the ascension of the first American Colony, the safety protocols were finalized and the united efforts of the Nordic people was realized. To this day, it prides itself as a nation of progress, aid, strength, and growth. Their single colony, Asgard, accounts for a sixth of their population to this day and the homeland is on friendly relations with neighbouring nations, or what ones remain. For the past 30 years, diplomatic attempts have been made with the Terran Republic and none have been successful, but the kingdom has continued to affirm its neutrality in the matter under its last two kings and parliaments. Desperate times will call for any measure necessary however, and Scandinavia may soon find itself forced into a scenario of having to pick their side in the war.

Appearance: Long blonde hair, blue eyes, usually wears the Scandinavian uniform, almost seems to have the face of a woman.
Terran Type: Beta Terran but doesn’t know this
Personality: Observant and loyal. Usually calm and collected when it comes time to fight even if he is against it.
Bio: Jacob Thorstein III is the next in line for the throne of Scandinavia, but this hasn’t stopped him from a desire to see his homeland free from the hungry gaze of Terra. His father, the King, was his only parent with his mother dying in childbirth from a new strand of childbirth disease or so his father says. At the age of 15, he enrolled in the Scandinavian Gundam Academy and passed first in his class with the most unusual high marks. Since graduating at 16, he has mostly served as Captain of a patrol squad in part of his father not wishing him on the inevitable frontlines and his lack of real battle experience. He does not question the abilities offered upon him or the nature of his birth, but there is no deception in war and these may soon be answered for him.

Age of Nation: Though officially ended in C.A. 132 the United States would be 432 years old.
History: The U.S. was founded by colonists of the old British Kingdom tired of tyrannical rule. The colonists rested their independence from Britain through war and eventually the United States of America came to be with thirteen colonies becoming the first thirteen states that over the next two hundred years would grow to fifty states with many claimed territories. The U.S. has long been a self proclaimed bastion of freedom and democracy in a world of mostly dictatorships and totalitarianism and has waged many wars in the defense of freedom and to help liberate other countries as well. However, because of America's capitalist economic system there was marked overwhelming growth of the media and dirty corporations. Because the government is usually separate from from the economy because of the free market system its was not long until the corporations rested power from the Government for the People, of the People, and by the People and changed it into one nation under the dollar with liberty and justice for no one, but the corporations that ruled it. People saw hope when Brendon Sage announced his candidacy for president and rested control from the corporations despite the assassination attempt. That hope was soon dashed when he established a new government under his control and the United States was disbanded. Though as the American flag fell the United American Resistance caught its guide pole as it tumbled and raised it once more. This group envisioned America as it once was and as its Fore Fathers had saw, a nation of freedom and prosperity. Thus began their guerrilla war against the Terran Republic and Brendon Sage though thus far they have only succeeded in bringing the nations war efforts to a halt. Now as the Terran Republic restarts its campaign for world dominance the United American Resistance must find some miracle to help them reclaim their once great nation.
Population: Unknown to the Terran Republic, but the resistance boast an impressive 10 million members world wide.
Government: Militaristic at the moment with the hopes of reinstating democracy.
Military: The United American Resistance military consists mostly of stolen low to mid grade mobile suites and armors, however their is rumor circulating that the resistance is building a new type mobile suit. Most pilots are Alpha types with a few ace Beta types. Their weapons stockpile consists of a variety of arms such as missiles, ballistic rifles, energy rifles, and explosives.
Nuclear Stockpile: The resistance has yet to lay their hands on any nuclear weaponry though not for lack of trying.
Economic System: The resistance is funded covertly by many of the remaining nations of the world as well as through underground black market deals.
Conflicts: The Terran Republic.
Trade Agreements: Trades freely with most of the worlds remaining nations.
Military Alliances: No official alliances.
Major Religions: Various forms of Christianity and a mixture of all religions. America the great melting pot still lives on.

Age: 35

Hometown: Darkness Falls, Massachusetts
Appearance: Gabriel stands tall at 6'3" and a toned 235 lbs with long blonde hair and sharp blue eyes behind thin bifocal glasses giving him the serious business oriented look. He typically wears short sleeve shirts and blue jeans with boots.
Terran Type: Alpha
Personality: Gabriel is a calm and calculated tactician able to measure his opponents skill at a glance and plan accordingly. He hides behind a wall of seriousness and coldness as though he cares for nothing but the task at hand and its completion though in reality he has a soft side that shows through when others are in need.
Bio: Gabriel was born shortly before Brendon Sage's take over only has knowledge of Old America through history books and stories of his elders. Gabriel lost his parents near the beginning of the war and was taken in by the resistance. Since then he has shut himself off from others and lives mostly to see the downfall of the Terran Republic. Gabriel is currently the Captian of a five man mobile suite team on the SS Fullrunner.

Thanks for joining Vain! :) Rebellion is certainly a likely situation when it comes to the United States changing this much. So with that, we should just get someone to be the Republic and maybe another nation or so. I'll have to add some details to the concepts on the rp and I'll be sure to add the info on the Terran Republic when I get a chance to do so. Hope this rp manages to be as enjoyable as it's potential has.

Its one weakness however was the capitalist system that began to dominate the people. Everything that identified America from the flag to the national anthem, anything one could have to be an individual, became part of a purchase. Things began to change however when Brendon Sage won his election for the U.S. presidency. After the process of freeing the American people from corporations, Sage ordered for the reformation of the nation with the intent of uniting the entire world under one banner. All nations that join enjoy the new order to be brought, but all who oppose the Republic will be crushed. Hence their motto, “Order and Unity through Strength and Leadership”.

Personality: Meditative but commanding when need be. Has a presence about him that can inspire loyalty to him.
Bio: In 112, Brendon graduated from Harvard University double majoring in both Genetics and Politics. Few others know about what happened from this point until his first campaign for Massachusetts Senator 120 C.A. He was fairly popular in the Senate for campaigning against the hold of corporate America. Going on this platform for eight years, he made his presidential bid and won by a landslide for being able to rally America behind him. It was at that point that he made his application of freeing the American people from its own corporate grasp. Despite his popularity with the people, an assassination was made on his life in 132 C.A. with a direct strike to his head. After being hospitalized for three weeks however, he emerged as alive as he was before. Leaving the hospital, Brendon almost changed into a different man who ordered the overhaul of the U.S. political system. With this restructure, he appointed himself as President for life and Commander in Chief. Assembling a mobile suit force and military unlike anything the world has seen, Brendon is even after thirty years the leader of the most powerful nation in the world. After 30 years he may be close to his dream of world unity, but there is a question remaining of what lies beneath his intentions.

If anybody wishes to change anything, feel free to do so, it all depends on who takes the person takes it up. TInfo is obviously not complete as of yet though.

This seems really interesting I'd love to see it take off, but I think I'll just have a character because running a nation isn't something I'm good at, so here's my information:

Appearance: Standing at 5'6" Nickolai usually wears a dark blue military uniform with a long military style trench coat. His eyes are blue like the sky and his hair is a deep brown.
Terran Type: Beta Terran, modified to be a Mobile Suit Pilot for the United Kingdom of Scandinavia.
Personality: Nickolai is mostly quiet about his past but speaks his mind even if it offends someone else. Due to his genetic modifications Nickolai is only able to think logically and can not express emotions nor understand the emotions of others... In other words he appears heartless.
Bio: Nickolai was grown in a lab on the outskirts of Moscow and used as a Mobile Suit Pilot for the UKS until his transport ship crashed over the Hawaii Islands. There he was picked up by the United American Resistance, and became a mobile suit engineer. In secret he built his own mobile suit but never found a adequate power supply to power his mobile suit. To this day he continues to add scrap parts he pulls off other suits to add to his own.

It's actually an original setting that doesn't have relations to the established canons. It can have elements from previously established ones however.

Personality: Skyy tends to be a serious person. When it comes to her friends and family she also is very caring. She is very freelance and outgoing. Her personality tends to be a bit uptight at times.
Bio: (At least a paragraph) Skyy is a descendant of Domon Kasshu and Rain Mikamura, She is there second generation grandchild. Every Generation of the kasshu family has excelled at martial arts, and just like her father before her and Skyy’s father before him, Domon fought for Neo-Japan.

Skyy had grown up on the colony and was happy there; but at the age of seven her father introduced her to the Burning Gundam. Skyy had crawled into the cock-pit and she was tickled with the feeling of the generations that defended her county in this giant machine. Over the years Skyy had taken an interest with Gundam, and spent her years learning how to maintain this Gundam. Learning how to properly use all the weapons took her years to perfect considering the fact it not only had its original weapons but three knew deadly attacks.

She was given the crest of The King of hearts and so now, at the age of 19 pilots this gundam. I guess you could say that Skyy gets a certain high from being in that beautiful cock-pit. It is her destiny.

No, she isn't a direct descendant, I messed up on what you meant by terran, i fixed it tho. The only original elements Skyy has from the show is the crest and the Gundam.
