The Island of Nassau, is the most notorious pirate coves in the known world, it has no true central government and the pirates generally run the show, Merchants and traders are about as close as it comes and any real rule. Here anyone can do or be anything, which is why it has become a Mecca of sorts for mercenaries, thieves and pirates, and even exiled royals, there even a few Fae floating around as well.
Brothels
Nassau is dotted with brothels, most of the girls coming from slavery, or, however rare of their own volition. These places tend to be havens for Pirates as most brothel do not allow bloodshed, specifically the one own by the Mysterious Fae Woman, Madame Aja.

pirates would be nothing without these places, and while there are many all over the world, none is more prominent that Guthrire Trading Co. Run by the Strong willed Eleanor Guthrie,a smuggler and black market trader this is where the pirates come to trade their spoils, and turn profits. No cargo is moved without her say and approval.She is a dangerous woman because of this, she can make or break a pirates career.
Pirate Crews.
There are hunderds of thousands of Pirate ships coming in and out of Nassau on a daily, but none are more feared the that of The Crimson Lady and her Blood Crew.
The Crimson Lady is something of a legend around the world, as there aren't that many female Captains, but in Nassau, must believe she isn't even human for how she killed a man and bathed in his blood.
