Hi, I need some help with my characterization. I'm told that my characters are flat and not thought-out. So, I'd like some assistance. Can anyone give me a hand? I was told to request 'Nyu'. What's that?

If you need any additional help, let me know. Looks like Nyu has this one. What you're looking to expand on is "character dynamics"; you need to flesh out a dynamic, changing, growing, developing character. Flat characters are characters that do not have any change, no dynamic to their personality, no struggles or conflicts that make them interesting, they do not grow with the obstacles presented to them, and are exactly what the word says they are, "flat" feeling. It's definitely important you learn this skill as soon as possible, so make sure you focus on how to make your character believable during your Mentoring sessions.
