"From the looks of it there base is just this small section of the neighborhood" Naomi stated, observing the enemy area. The air felt thick with the tension seeping out of her body, Naomi's muscles were tense and ready to spring in a moments warning. She hated this feeling of not knowing, she hated not having a plan. It bugged her senseless.
"Our best bet is the go back to the hi-way and circle around the town completely, we don't need to make any enemies" Naomi instructed before slowly backing away from the bush. As they were heading away from the bush and back towards the truck Naomi jumped as a 'thud' sound came from beside her and moments later Rem fell to the ground.
"Remm...." Naomi began until something hard hit the back of her skull. She felt towards the pavement and darkens overcame her senses seconds later.
I am sooooo sorry I haven't posted. I've been so busy and then today my wifi decided to crap out.
