Naomi's eyes slowly opened as light streamed in through the windows. In her half sleep state, curiosity coursed about in her brain as she felt slightly movement. Why were they moving? Once her eyes were fully open they instantly went to Rem, who was casually driving with Bear leaning against her arm.

"Hey why didn't you wake me? What time is it?" Naomi questioned as she looked at the digital clock on the truck radio. 9:12am. Naomi sent a glare towards her tired looking friend before sighing.

"Stop the truck and switch with me. Listen I'm thankful for the sleep but that was stupid Rem! What if you fell asleep at the wheel!" Naomi growled. Remedie pulled over on the side of the rode and they switched positions. Naomi restarted the truck and started driving again as she let Rem sleep.

The rest of the drive was rather boring but excited zipped through her veins as Denver came into view. They had been driving through Colorado for a while. Naomi figured if anything was going to happen it would happen in one of the major cities. Tall buildings shot towards the grey sky, billowing plums of smoke fogging the area.

"Hey Rem, wake up" Naomi said, lightly shaking her friend. It was 4:34pm now as Naomi pulled over on the side of the road. They needed a plan. They didn't know what was there or what would happen and that was making Naomi nervous.

"Alright I know this may sound stupid but I think we should hide the truck and go on foot. If we get captured again we don't need them getting our stuff to....or maybe we can find another vehicle and use that after we hide the truck" Naomi told Rem as she started looking around, checking out the area.

It took them an hour but they had finally entered the city. They had decided to hide the truck in an abandoned garage and had found a old beater that Naomi was about to hot wire. Each girl had their backpacks, which had a few bottles of water, some energy bars and a couple packs of crackers, first aid supplies, flashlight and a lighter and a few other things. Naomi had her bow, silenced Berretta and machete.

They had just entered the city and already there were packs of zombies. Naomi sped forward, driving through the group of undead.
