"Don't say yes, run away now
I'll meet you when you're out of the church at the backdoor
Don't wait or say a single vow
Your time is running out and they said speak now."
Marriage is a serious commitment between two people, pledging to love eachother forever. It's every girl's dream to go buy that beautiful white dress, and choose her bride's maids, the reception hall, the color of the flowers- it all just adds to the excitement that your life is about to start. It gets even better when you get to walk down that aisle, looking around at the hundreds of friends and family members that have gathered to show their support for you and finally stand next to your soon-to-be-husband. He's the love of your life; your everything.
For Emma Moore, it wasn't that easy. She was born and raised in the small, wealthy community of Glouster, MA, by her social-status obsessed parents, Bethany and Michael The two are both highly-ranked surgeons, bringing in more than enough money to allow Emma, her older brother Jack (who is currently dating Emma's bride's maid) and her younger sister Emily to live comfortably. Growing up, the children's were given love through materialistic items because their parents had to work long hours and attend social gatherings when they weren't at work. They were left home with nannies but the experience really brought the three children to be a tightly knit group of siblings. During the summer they would walk to Good Harbor Beach and spend the day playing in the water or they would ride bikes into Rockport and have lunch and window-shop. Over the years, the siblings' bond grew stronger but the one with their parents was barely there. Emma especially, had trouble understanding her parents and because her strong views were much different than theirs, the few minutes that she would see them each day was normally spent arguing.
Before long, Emma was graduating high school and following Jack to Harvard University, where her parents had met. She had longed to attend FIT in New York, but her parents refused to pay for that school so she gave in and attended the Ivy League school, double majoring in art and journalism. Life there wasn't too bad for her, and because her brother attended the same school he was able to introduce her to some of his friends. One of them stuck out to Emma- Alex Price. He was a gorgeous guy studying to become a doctor and he seemed to be the nicest guy in the world. That was until they began dating, and his true colors showed. Alex was abusive- emotionally and physically, and it wasn't too long before Emma dumped him- or tried to dump him. He was of course outraged and told her that if she tried to leave him or tell anyone about what was going on she wouldn't see the light of day again. So, in fear of her life, she spent months faking a smile when she was out in public with Alex, but inside she was longing to graduate so she could escape from the terror or a man that she had been set up with. It wasn't long before Bethany and Michael were encouraging her to invite her longtime boyfriend to the last Christmas dinner that she would have while still in college, and that was when he proposed to her. The Moores loved Alex- not knowing of his abusive side that Emma was all too familiar with and her parents basically said yes for her. After many threats from Alex and long months of planning, they were going to be married.
_
It is now the wedding day, a sunny morning in July, and everything is going well. Emma and Alex are both at the church and their lovely families and numerous friends are waiting for them in the pews of the elegant church. One small bang later, and the groom is dead and Emma is running out of the back of the church without anyone seeing. until a small bang is heard from upstairs. It will take them ten minutes to figure out that the bang was a gunshot, covered by a gun muffler, and that gunshot had just went through Alex's head, thanks to Emma pulling the trigger. She flees the scene, meeting Brendon Daniels outside and driving away with him to a privately-owned small plane airport, where Brendon depart on the small plane that Emma's father owns. his family's home in Oklahoma. Brendon was an art student at Harvard and had been good friends with Emma ever since they started school, but because of Alex she could never make Brendon more than just her best friend. That was until she told him about the abuse from Alex and he helped her come up with a plan to put an end to the madness, to Alex, so that they could live happily together. It took them a while to sort out the plans but after Alex had recieved a pilot's license as a minor major, he was ready to go.
But now you've got a groom dead, a bride/murderer fleeing the state, a new boyfriend and family that is horrified and shocked. Love seems to be pretty tricky.

Personality: Brittany is a dreamer. She has big plans for her life and isnât going to let anyone, even her mother, stop them. She dreams of moving away from her small town when she turns eighteen and moving to New York to go to college to become a fashion designer, or start a modelling career. She loves fashion and when her family had a little bit of money to spare, she would use it to buy fashion magazines. Now though, she doesnât ask her mother for allowance money, despite spending most of her time working on the farm. Being the youngest in the family, many people would think that Brittany would be spoiled, but that isnât the case. Pretty much her entire wardrobe is made up of her older sisterâs hand-me-downs or things that her mother sewed. Sheâs a bubbly girl who loves having fun, and her mind always seems to be racing which is why itâs hard for her to be focused, especially when it comes to school work. Brittany was always a social butterfly and being pulled from public school has caused her to lose contact from almost all of her friends considering that her town is made up mainly of farms and sheâd be walking a mile just to see one friend. This has caused on her to rely on her siblings for entertainment and since Brendon is at college her best friend has become Charlie. Just like any little sister, Brittany loves to do anything that Charlie is doing and does get annoying at times, although she never means any harm. She does have a tendency to complain a lot. Farm work isnât what sheâs interested in and so she normally opts to work at their farm stand rather than tending to the animals and such.
Background: Brittany Marie Daniels was born to Jane and Joseph Daniels on the fourth of May. She is the youngest of three siblings, her two older ones being Brendon and Charlotte. It was clear from a young age that Brittany wasnât exactly the type to be living in a small farm town. She always spoke about becoming a model or an actress and moving to Hollywood or New York. Her aspirations have changed since then but wanting to live in a big city still is at the top of her to-do list. Her father was supportive of her dreams, really just because she would cry if anyone tried to tell her that she was being unrealistic, so when he passed a bit before her thirteenth birthday, Brittany was really hit hard. Brendon had moved away a few years before to go to college so her father was the only boy left in the house and she really only felt safe around him. Since then her life has seemed to fall apart: her mother pulled her from public school and theyâre barely scraping by financially. Brittany knows that her mother is only trying to protect her by being so caring, but she doesnât like being sheltered from the world and feels like her mother is holding her back from being a normal teenager.
Other: Every night Brittany spends hours looking through magazines about fashion. She has currently started to sketch clothes designs as well.
