X-Stigma Strain: Beginnings [ OOC/ Characters ]

As of today John Paxton, played by general kane is no longer in the role-play. OOC, he just wanted to quit. IC, John Paxton was surrounded by Hunters and ravaged by a pack of Hunters.

Name: James O'Malley

Age: 29

Profession: TRACU Private, Infantry

Gender: Male

Equipment/Clothing: Standard TRACU M16A4 with his own personal touch, a red dot sight. Along with a new black-gray urban combat camo uniform. He carries a Knife that was passed down to him by his possibly-deceased father.

Personality: James used to be the class-clown of his group of friends, always picking up everyone's spirits with jokes and riddles. But when outbreak happened, and James witnessed all the horrors and atrocities of the undead, his soul seemed to have been sucked out. He now keeps to himself and cautiously grows no attachments to others, lest they be turned.

History/Background: James was a Junior in high school at Liverpool England. He had a sharp mind and a will to live up to his father's greatness. He was very close to his father as a lad. He often went camping and played sports with his father, and they were like two old friends when they were together, often gabbering about football and many hobbies of theirs. His father was an ex-SAS sergeant, and was hard on discipline and fitness. Although the SAS required him to return all equipment upon completion of service, he had smuggled a combat knife which he often used during his years of service. James' father had taught him all he had learned about survival from his years of service. The combat knife was James' father's pride and joy, and one day when he was out camping with James he decided that his glory days were over and it was time to pass the mantle to James. He passed on the knife to James , and James considered this a great honor. Everything was going well before the outbreak. However that Monday morning had changed everything. As James sat at the table eating breakfast with his family, the televison had blasted news of something they called the "X Stigma Outbreak". He didn't believe such a preposterous idea until halfway through his first period where a late student had entered the classroom...changed. He limped up to the teacher with dirt on his clothes and blood on his face as the teacher demanded to know where he has been. The "thing" formally known as James' classmate tore into the teacher's neck with his rotting teeth as the whole class screamed in horror. James had jumped through the window of the 1-story building to escape the horror of what just occurred. when he saw the townspeople running and screaming in terror he knew that maybe the news wasn't lying. He saw more of these "things" and ran home in terror and disbelief. He saw his own family being attacked by these monsters, and ran in fear away from the horror. He kept his father's knife and fled from place to place trying to find a safe haven. half-starved and weakened he eventually came upon a group of survivors fleeing England and traveling to "New Wall City" in America. He joined up with them and took a boat full of others that were lucky enough to survive. When he finally reached the city he joined the TRACU and swore on the honor of his father that he would avenge all that were killed by these monstrosities wherever they are. He protects any and all does not waver in his orders. He vows he will one day find his father, although he has lost most of his hope.

Question: is it okay that I said some hunters were on the gates? Also, have the gates closed? Because if not, and the first part is okay, then a hunter might slip into the city.. o.O

You can say they're trying to make it through the gate. It's a pretty big gate and it'll take at least a good 1 or 2 minutes to close. So yes, you can say a couple of hunters are making a jump through the gate while we fight off the crawlers, trying to reach out objective. But of course they would get slaughtered anyways because there are TRACU soldiers waiting inside the gate in case of a breach like that.

That’s good. According to some guy’s post we’re all heading into the woods anyways, but I just wanted to make sure our citizens were safe! That would be pretty bad if a hunter snuck into the city.

Forest? Well, that's not true. We are currently sweeping through the city streets, trying to make our way to the bank.
