It has been 14 years since the X-Stigma Outbreak. It all happened too fast for anyone to stop it. Millions dead, millions dying and millions of "them" rising back. No one was prepared for it, no one wanted to believe it was happening. Thousands by thousands they overran our cities and towns, no one was safe from them. They mutilated and devoured our families our friends. "They" were murderous sentient beings of their former selves, cannibalistic beasts now, dead fathers rose up to attack their once beloved children, brothers ripped apart sisters and young siblings without any second thoughts. It was a gruesome thing to behold....
For 14 years they have ravaged the world and taken many innocent people to their horrifying deaths. As the years progressed, the X-Strigma Strain evolved within it's billions of hosts. Walled fortress cities were erected around the world. People were trained daily to learn how to combat these "things". They were taught how to bear arms of many kinds and how to use their surroundings to survive if they were to ever find themselves running from a mob of flesh-eating hunters.
You are a survivor living in New Wall City, located in the middle part of the old New York City, it is one of the last places humanity can live and prosper in. It is up to you how the story will go. Will you try to find a way to remove the undying plague from your world or join the ranks of the flesh-eaters? Your actions and choices will determine if you live or live to eat your friends....

A special combat group called the Tactical Recon and Combat Unit (T.R.A.C.U) was formed to serve as the main policing forces of their walled cities, which there are only 40 left that is known to the world, maybe even less. It was a dangerous job as a T.R.A.C.U. soldier.
Their duties ranged from:
- Going outside walled cities and retrieving supplies from old cities and towns.
- Protecting the city and exterminating any zombie threats that come near or in rare cases, within the city itself (Reports of this is starting to reach common status now)
- Protecting caravans or convoys coming or going to other walled cities and dozens of other life-threatening jobs.
T.R.A.C.U. soldiers are trained in different and vital areas of expertise. There is usually 1 or 2 of each assigned to a squad.
These "jobs" range from:
Infantry - T.R.A.C.U. infantrymen carry standard issue equipment such as the M16 Rifle, a handgun, four grenades and the black gray camouflaged battle suit. They also have a backpack they can hold food or other items vital to their survival when they are outside of the walled cities.
Heavy Equipment Operations - H.E.O.s are responsible for carrying a single heavy equipment that is vital their squads mission. These heavy equipments can range from communications satellites to robotic vehicles.
Demolitions Experts - These men are the guys you go to when you want a metal door blown down or a zombie hole blown up. They carry a wide array of explosives with them and most are usually found carrying shotguns for close-combat situations.
Reconnaissance - Lightly equipped men serve as scouts and relay information back and forth the squad or headquarters. They carry semi-automatic handguns, binoculars and 12-inch combat knives.
Combat Medics - These people are usually people who have had past experiences with the field of medicine. They range from medical students to full-fledged doctors who are willing to go out into the combat zones with their squads. They carry important tools and medicines of different kind, such as anesthetics, for when they have to amputate a fellow squad member on the spot.
Z-Assessor - Z-As' are people who have been studying or know a lot about the different kinds of zombies known to man. The information they have can usually save their whole squad from imminent danger, making them a valuable asset...If your squad can hire one.

I'm not asking for a long elaborate essay but at least provide vital and visual information that can help others and myself understand your character and how he/she fits into the story. I will use my own as an example of how it should look like.
Name: Kevin Vankurst
Age: 33
Profession: TRACU Squad Captain, New Wall City TRACU Division
Gender: Male
Equipment/Clothing: Standard TRACU infantry weapons and urban camo uniform, with some wears and tears here and there from constant time out on the field. He also carries a gold locket containing a picture of his deceased 2 year old daughter, Junie.
Personality: He can be a hot-headed rebel when it came down to arguing with someone over important or non-important issues but that only clouds out his true colors. He was actually quite the joker and a respected father figure to his squad. He is a very virtuous TRACU soldier at heart and shows respect if respect is given back to him.
History/Background: Born in New York City back in the days. He grew up to be your average typical high school athlete, had a nice girl and awesome friends. After he graduated college, he married his girlfriend and trained for the armed forces as a marine and wanted to do his part to show his patriotism. Then, it happened. The news reports. The attacks. The blood and the red terror it wreaked upon. The X-Stigma Outbreak tore out like a devastating wildfire and took his wife and his family. He fled, in tears and in anger. He drove for hours upon hours as far away from his home as he could, until he came upon a military command post. He exited the vehicle and entered the compound, holding a gold locket with the picture of his wife and daughter. He was devastated and raging with so much anger that day. It was a red day.
Now a squad captain of an 8 man squad, he leads them through perilous tasks all over the states in a hungry thirst to find a cure or any way to stop the end of the world.
