Tale of Dragons

In ancient times, there stood three proud races, Dragons, Demons, and Humans. For centuries war raged between the Dragons and Demons of this world, and the Humans were caught in the middle, unable to defend themselves form either side. Close to the end of the war the 12 human kings noticed the Dragons were protecting the kingdoms they ruled, and the Dragon pact was formed. The pact called the 12 kingdoms of humanity tot he aid of the Dragons, but given their lack of Magic the humans stood no chance against the demons. The seven elder dragons took note of this and hand chose seven humans to learn their ways. Thus the Dragon Knights were born, and waged war against the Demons with the full force of the magical power of the Elder Dragons, but this was just the beginning. 1,000 years after the end of, what is now called, the Demon wars, began the war that would changed the world of Lyona forever, the Dragon war. For 100 years Humans would hunt down and kill every dragon they found. Now in present times the Dragons are on the verge of being extinct, only a hand full still live, and the human kingdoms have become nations, under the the rule of Governments, not kings. Rumors of New Dragon Knights started to spread and tales of Demons in the south have struck fear in the hearts of humans everywhere. What will happen to Lyona? Why are the Demons returning now, and are the Dragon Knights real? If so will they save Lyona from the Demon threat? We Will See!


This RP has the same rules you'd find in just about any other RP these are:
1) NO GOD-MODDING!!!! this includes auto-hitting, auto-dodging, and appearing from nowhere.
2) Your character is not INVINCIBLE! he or she can die.
3) This has no destined plot to follow so its basically a do what you want RP, but your action will affect the world of Lyona.
4) Be as literate as possible. I know people make mistakes so if you make one don't fuss over it. I'd just like no one liners.
5) Have Fun!

With the new character system it's pointless to lay out a character sheet but that doesn't mean you can just put anything you want. You at lest have to describe your characters, Appearance, personality, and Equipment. Since it's a Modern setting you can use Guns of you'd like, but remember magic is apart of this world still and can be used as well.

Personality: At first glance he seems easy going, nice, and a pretty good guy, but if someone spends a little time with him they find that he is serious, has little care for most peoples lives, and can be somewhat sadistic. He's still loyal though, and sometimes his attitude will become more like the First-Glance version. He is a good guy overall, and will help other people, but only if he thinks he should.

Equipment: He carries around a small revolver and a large knife that is long enough to cut a mans head off if enough force is applied. He keeps three spare sets of clothes in his backpack and has a blanket and pillow in a duffel bag. He also usually has an average of three hundred dollars cash in an old wallet.

Magic: He speciallizes in upgrading things, making himself stronger, faster, and tougher, or giving a gun stronger shots, or making a knife extremely sharp, or making a car faster. You get the point, his magic directly makes stuff better, and he also has a form of mind-control; he can make someone who is confident, over-confidant. He can turn a small amount of fear into a large amount of fear, the drawback is that the same happens to him, and while he has better control because he knows that hes doing it, it can still mess him up at times.

Bio: He grew up mostly normally, but when he was twelve both his parents died in a car accident and he ran off with little injury before the paramedics came. Later on, after the parents were burried and people were still looking for him, a "Very short person wearing a cap" robbed a bank and the next day the parents graves had been dugged up and a pile of cash had been put on the ground. Grid burried his parents in his backyard and ran away from home with nothing but his clothes and the gun his mother had kept in her purse. Since then, he has been living on the road and has used his outer personality to get people to drive him around. About a month ago he was attacked by one of the people that he had hitchiked and he killed her. Since then he has become even harder and more serious than ever, and is now headed for his hometown, hoping to see what has changed.
