Rose sighed in frustration. "We are suppose to look normal, Alice. Now, how would we exactly look normal if you two just get up and leave while it is raining?" Rose asked as she glanced out the window, her topaz colored eyes reflecting the rain silently drizzling down.

Alice shrugged. "If anyone asks, which they won't I'll just say we are heading out early to our first class for some extra help. Besides, walking in the rain is far from unusual in Forks.. it's hard to find a time when it's not raining." Alice's voice was bright and cheery again as she spoke to Rosalie. She wasn't trying to be all I-told-you-so-like.. she just wanted what was best for Jasper when she said "and standing out in the rain is a whole lot more normal than Jasper leaping up and killing everyone in this lunch room." She whispered very quietly as she spoke.

Rose glared at Alice. "Fine. Do what you want." She said coldly. Emmett pressed his lips into a thin line and leaned over towards Alice. "Ignore her, Alice, you know how she gets." Rose pushed Emmett up and playfully nudged him. Emmet laughed and wrapped his arm around Rose's shoulder.

Alice giggled and rested her hand on Rosalie's shoulder for a moment. "Don't take it personally Rose, you know I still love you like a sister." Alice pressed a finger to her lips and blew Rosalie a cute, sisterly kiss, giggling again. Alice didn't like it when people were angry with her, she hated that atmosphere so she was always the one to lighten it.

Rose rolled her eyes, but despite herself, was smiling, her sparkly white teeth straight and perfect. "Fine, you got me, as always." Rose said and smiled as she rested her head against Emmett.

Angela chatted eagerly with Bella, who seemed distracted by the gorgous Edward Cullen. But, who wouldn't be? He was gorgous afterall. Bella seemed like a nice girl, it would be nice to have some new friends, it wasn't often Forks High School got a new student.

Eric pulled out an extra seat and slid it between Angela and Bella. "Hello there, Ladies." Eric said, stealing one of Angela's fries. "What are we talking about, now?" Eric asked.

Angela slapped Eric's hand playfully and rolled her eyes. "Actually, Bella was just asking about the Cullens.." She answered, grinning at Eric.

Eric stared wide eyed at Angela. "The Cullen's?" He asked in disbelief. Eric shook his head, his black hair going along with it. "Okay..." He said.

Jasper looked up and smiled at Rose, but it didn't reach his eyes. He squeezed Alice's hand.
"It's okay, I'm fine." he answered curtly. He needed to get over this... problem. It was embarassing, and problematic for his family. He leaned over and kissed Alice on the cheek, eyes on Edward.

"What are you looking at?" he asked. He could feel a lot of emotion rolling off of Edward right now, but it didn't make any sense. Jasper could feel confusion, frustration, and curiousity emanating from his 'brother'. What in the world was he thinking about?

Alice frowned but nodded. "Okay Jasper, I understand." Her lips curled up into a smile until she followed Jasper's gaze. Edward was staring with a frustrated look on his face at that new girl. "What's wrong Edward?" Alice said, her voice filled with concerned. Alice had never seen Edward looking like this before, it was very unusual, and she had seen some very unusual things.

Edward gave subtle glances at the new girl Bella, quickly returning them to his food at the appropriate times, his entire body tingling inside. It was unusual, but, he could not read her thoughts to understand what was going through her mind. Even more, her smell was so attracting - even from here. She was not like any of the other girls he had seen at this school. She was different.

It was only now that Alice and the rest of them started staring, he able to tell how they wondered what was wrong. He only stared up and growled, "N-Nothing." He stated seriously, pushing his food further away from him, "This smell of this food is just repulsing." Standing up, nodding, "I will see you later." Edward storming out swiftly, vanishing out the door.

Bella watched in awe and utter surprise as Edward left.

Bella sigh as Mike and her walked to Biology. "Okay Mike." Bella said. The teacher sat her with the boy- Edward Cullen.

The humans had begun to clear out of the cafeteria and Jasper was feeling much better. No longer surrounded by their different, yet all intoxicating, smells and aromas, he stood, offering his hand to Alice.

"M'lady," he said with the barest hint of a smirk. "May I escort you to your next class?"

It made no difference that they shared the same class. Even when they were split up, he walked her around, carrying her books for her, trying to look like a normal, doting boyfriend. No one needed to know that this delicate woman beside him was actually not delicate at all. Without effort she could lift boulders or throw a full grown human across the room. Regardless, it was the gentemanly thing to carry her book bag, which ironically contained more accessories and makeup than actual books. Long ago the Cullen's had all learned these lessons by heart. The books, like their lunch trays and their jackets, were props.

Mr. Banner had put the girl Bella next to him, making him more stiff and grasp the desk, his complexion growing even paler. He finally leaned on the edge of his seat, growing more distant from her. He wanted to stay away, as far away as he could. "Go away..." Edward said to himself, wanting this girl to just get up and leave. Sadly, he knew that would not happen. He was stuck here, like always.

Alice grinned and gave Jasper a small smirk back. "I would be honored kind sir." She chuckled and took his hand, just barely rolling her eyes. "I wonder what's wrong with Edward..." She said after sometime as they walked through the busy hallways. "I wish I could read minds like he does... it's just not fai-" Alice stopped short in the hallway, her face had gone blank. "It's a vision Jasper.." She whispered faintly as images flashed before her eyes.

Bella noticed the tension coming from Edward. She took the seat next to him. Bella lifted the collar to her top up slightly and sniffed it-she didn't think she smelled bad, he obviously did just the way he looked. She tucked her hair behind her ear as Mr. Banner started to speak. Bella just kept looking straight ahead, suddenly anxious for class to ens.
