Hi peoples!
I'm Hannah, but everyone calls me Rain! I like to dance(it looks more like having a seizure), hence the lovely name ^-^
I got bored and found this website on Google a few minutes ago and it looks pretty cool so here I am! I've been role-playing for a few years now. I like to think I'm pretty good at it, but I'll let you be the judge ;D
I like just about every setting known to man and I'm always willing to try something new. If you need an extra person drop me a line! I really love, Epic
Fantasy, Perilous Post-Apocalyptic, and Mystery settings along with the occasional romance thrown in, though I much rather prefer to shoot stuff up.
I can post anywhere from one paragraph to five or more, really it just depends on how interested I am in the RP. I'd be lying if I said otherwise >.>
Like I said though, I'll try anything!

Welcome to Gateway! We're happy that you were able to find us.
This is a pretty awesome place, but it can be a little confusing and intimidating in the beginning. I was lost for weeks before I finally started to find my way around this place. I suggest that you take a look at the Rules tabbed on the top page and then, if you're ready to jump into some Forum-based RPs, head over to the Interest Check and Roleplayers Wanted subforums to find games that are looking for players!
Gateway has a dedicated team of Mentors that are here to lead the way in writing and roleplaying as well as serve as humble servants to players that are in need of assistance. If you need anything to improve your writing, would like a review, or just want to bounce some ideas off someone, track down a Mentor!
Happy to have you and I hope to see you around.

Hey there Rain Dance! I see you've met Jag, one of our mentors: Those guys are extremely helpful when you are looking around in the beginning, and are the best for helping new users get oriented! Don't worry though, if you ask I am sure that anyone would be more than happy to help. ^^ Everyone is very friendly here, as I'm sure you'll soon learn.
I love all of the settings that you listed, Rain, and you'll be sure to find a huge variety here. Just don't be afraid to get involved!

The wonderful arrival of you, indeed! I actually searched for Gateway the same way, and I think that's how most people did it. It's a good thing we're high on the google search! Daim and Jag have already gotten you situated, it seems. They're pretty good people, and the whole community in itself is pretty amazing! You'll be able to find lots of roleplay experience here!
The Roleplay Academy is a good place to get help, as well. That's where the mentors dwell. Also, if you need help with anything else, the Mod's like me and Daimayo with the green names, are here to help! Hope you enjoy it here!

I've read up on all the rules and stuff and the site looks fairly simple to navigate!
