The 7 Children: Explainations and Information

Until I've finished with the WDL and Demon Topics, this thread will be in the background fo a tiny bit, and I'll just be copying over the stuff I've written in the 'Interest Check's thread. Until the others are fairly well done, this is in the back.

First off, what are the bonuses of being a direct descendant of the Devil? Well, how about I go through these with you in:

The Devil's Blood!

The Blood of the Devil runs through your veins, and sure, that's cool and sweet and awesome and all, but, erm... just what does it do, exactly? Well, I'll tell you what it does!

Basics:

Since you have the Blood of the God of all Demon's inside of you, when you activate your Powers, your appearance will change slightly. Your ears will grow and appear pointier, and your canine teeth will seem ever so slightly longer than a normal person's. You also may, or may not, grow a Tail, although Tails are usually only given to males, they can still appear on females. You will be stronger than normal humans, and slightly faster as well, you can see in the dark and your wounds will heal fairly quickly, but more advanced Demons can heal minor wounds almost instantly. Holy Water will suddenly be the Kryptonite to your Superman, the Garlic to your Vampire, your mortal enemy. Although it won't harm you as much as full-blooded Demons, it'll still blind you temporarily, and also revert you to your Human form. Keep in mind, these are the powers you have all the time, even in your normal, Human Form.

Demonic Transformations:

Aah, now we're onto the good stuff. When you sign up into the Academy, if you decide to, that is, your Demon Powers will be sealed either inside you, or inside an object. This means that you can only use your powers when you draw the Weapon or when you decide to. Unfortunately, if you have a bout of strong emotion, or somebody else forces you into your Demon Form, you can transform, even without drawing your weapon, consciously unleashing your powers, etc. When you transform, you new form, if any, is completely dependant on your Character, so in OOC Langauge, it's whatever you want it to be, Mr or Mrs Author! So go wild, just not too wild. We don't want any ten story behemoths. Certain Characters are exempt from this rule though, such as the full-demons, and the 'Kings'.



Contrary to popular belief, it's only the lower class Demons that have one Major Ability. Most Demons have none, some have one, but the King Demons and their Higher Class Children can have at least three majors. These can range from flame manipulation, to summoning lesser Demons or Familiars. Go nuts, but I'll tell you if they're too out there or not. Note, these can only be used in your Demon Form.



The majority of these are the same as Primary Powers, you just don't have as much control over them as you do your Primary Powers. You can have a Primary Power as a Secondary Power as well, if you want. The only difference between these and Primary is that these are usable in your Human Form, they're just weaker.



Yes, at one stage or another, your Powers may or may not take control of you, and if they do, a squad will be sent to calm you down. If you aren't working for the Warriors of the Divine Light (WDL), then you're on your own. If you're calmed down, your powers will increase dramatically, or you could easily lose them all. It's a win-lose situation. So be cautious.

Demon Forms

Stronger Demons have more than one form, although they're only unlocked when the User has reached a stage where it is absolutely necessary to get stronger, as this transformation carries the same risks as losing control, and sometimes the two are the same. Examples of these Demon Forms will be listed below:

Demon Form: The Basis of all Demon Forms. once you get this form you become much more powerful, and can utilise your abilities with much more skill and expertise.

Advanced Demon Form: An upgraded version of the Demon Form, it grants even better upgrades to it's user.

Neo Demon Form: Neo Demons are among some of the most powerful and dangerous in all of Gehenna. They usually focus on melee and physical combat, but have been known to use spells, although their main focus is physical attacks.

Augar Demon Form: Much like the Neo Demon Form, with the major difference being that they focus on their Magic Abilities instead of their Physical ones, so some of the more powerful witches in existance have gained the blood of an Augar Demon to enhance their already scarily powerful abilities.

Ex-Demon Form: A hybried of Neo and Augar Demons Forms, they combine the powers of both forms for dramatic strength, and are extremely rare, only being created every few hundred years.

Nexus Demon Form: Nexus Demons are rare. Extremely rare, and actually so rare that there hasn't been a Nexus Demon for the last thousand years. The Nexus Demon Form increases the power of the previous Demon Forms, and no matter if you were a Neo Demon, Ex-Demon or an Augar Demon, once you become a Nexus Demon, you're classified as one of the strongest Demons in Gehenna, and the WDL will send out anyone and everyone they can to take you down unless you side with them. Nexus Demons have the increased abilities of the Ex Demons, and have taken them to borderline Mary-Sue levels, although they can't stay in their Nexus Form for too long, otherwise they'll lose all of their powers.



Next up we have a view of each of the current Children, from the view of the WDL. Since they have no idea about, or much information on, the Seven Children, these will be slightly limited in information until further notice.

The WDL's Index of the Seven Children:

Name: Deon Morris, but currently under the pseudonym of Hikari Scarlet.
Age: Unknown, but the WDL has been having and recieving sightings of him for a very long time.
Physical Profile: Deon is around 5 foot 7 and weighs around 155 kilo's. He has silver hair that is cut to a medium length, and is apparently a sufferer of Heterochromia iridum, as his eyes have the discolouration aspect, one being blue and the other being gold. He is fairly well-muscled due to his occupation, and is extremely skilled in most forms of combat, although the extent of these abilities are unknown at the time of writing. He is rumored to have a Phoenix tattoo adorning his chest, although these rumors are exactly that, rumors.
Mental Profile: Deon's mental state was unknown, until the WDL forced him into their 'Memory Wipe' program and he was transformed into one Mr. Hikari Scarlet. His mental state is still unknown, but it is assumed the he, like other Phoenikoi, is extremely driven to complete his goals, loyal and defending of his friends and family, and can be prone to fits of anger and paranoia, due to their kind always being hunted by the 'Animalia Sanctaris'.
Type of Demon: Half Phoenikoi. His other half is currently under research.
Demon Category: His Demon is classified in the 'Rogue Demons' category.
Powers and Abilities: The exact extent of his powers is unknwon, but he has been shown to possess strength equivalent to that of a very powerful Oni, and speed that can match the fastest Tengu. Other than that, his powers are unknown, aside from rumors of him summoning spears of light and Demon Servants.

The next child is a strange one, and we've lost him to Hells ranks, apparently, Although rumors of his reappearance on the Main Academies Campus have been on the rise. You know who we're talking about: Mr. Sebastian 'Inferno'!

Name: Sebastian Thomas, also known by the alias 'Inferno'
Age: 15 years old.
Physical Profile: Sebastian appears to have dark blue hair, blue eyes and almost pale skin. His physical build is nothing much, so he will at times appear fragile. He has two dragon tattoo's on his arms, and has three scars running horizontally across his chest.
Mental Profile: Believed to have a split personality problem, where 'Sebastian' represents the human side and 'Inferno' represents the demon side. Appears to be sane at first, but deep down, is really struggling for sanity.
Type of Demon: Half Demon, as far as we know.
Demon Category: Demon side - Unknown.
Powers and Abilities: Sebastian's main power appears to be manipulation over fire. He also appears to have some increased agility, as well as a transformation that involves, for now, two wings.

Known as the eldest of the children, he was a Renegade Leader and one of the most powerful demons in the entire world that are still alive.

Name:Deon Morris, a known alias was Hikari Scarlet.

Age: Looks to be eighteen years of age, when in reality is 1,300 years old.

Mental Profile: As Hikari Scarlet, he acted like himself, but was less wise, confident and cocky. As Deon Morris, his mental state varies between two things. He is very loyal at time and sane, but then there is The Madness, which is threatening to consume him and turn him into a psychopath.

Type of Demon: Half Phoenikoi. His other half is currently under research.

Demon Category: His Demon is classified in the 'Rogue Demons' category.

Powers and Abilities: Major: Mimicry - The ability to copy another beings powers through physical contact, forever storing them inside his brain. The powers come with the consequences and side-effects that a normal person would have from gaining them, though. This is a major downfall.

Assistant Summoning - Deon can summon a Group of seven Demons to help him in combat or basically do whatever he wants them to, they all have their own powers and weapons, so this makes it a bit harder to fight him.

Weapon Summoning - Deon can draw several Weapons from the tattoo on his chest, such as a Scythe, Dual Pistols and his Sword, Mokou.

Minor: Oni Strength - Yep, you read right, Deon's punches are powerful enough to go through walls, and this helps him even when he isn't using his fists, since Mokou and his Scythe are pretty darn big, that means they're heavy, thus he needs to be strong enough to lift and swing them fast in a fight.

Tengu Speed - Deon can accelerate to speeds that can reach past the light barrier, although breaking the light barrier is incredibly taxing and he doesn't do it much at all. Like his strength, he uses it to wield his Weapons.

Flaming Wings of a Phoenix - Some people call it flight, others call it extended leaps. Deon himself has called it flight on numerous occasions. He mainly uses this to move over large areas of land faster and can accelerate up to half as fast as on his feet. The Phoenix Tattoo on his chest glows, and giant Flaming Wings appear on his back. He also gain a tail of burning feathers. His wings and tail look just like a Bird's would, except they're, you know, on fire.

Special Ability: Blazing Heart: Deon's soul is imbued with Phoenikoi power, and he is effectively Immortal. He cannot be killed unless he himself wishes to end his own life, which I highly doubt he would want to for a long time. This power also takes away a large portion of his reaction to pain, as it numbs his pain sensors. He can regenerate at faster speeds than most Demons, although he cannot regenerate as fast as Illusion can, and his regenerative abilities take longer time periods depending on how much of him is damaged. A tiny scratch would heal instantly, whereas Deon being cut in half would take a few seconds if he can 'hold himself together'. If Deon is hit by a powerful enough attack to both KO him and obliterate the majority of his body, he will have to take an extended period to regenerate fully, otherwise it might not work and he could end up disfigured permanently, or until he decides to fix himself. He is also resistant to being burnt or frozen, and can shrug off sickness, unless it is extremely bad.

Known as The Extra Child, The Evolution Child. He is also the youngest out of the children, his fate seems to be tied with either life changing or death!

One of the children who worked for the WDL! He was considered one of the more weaker and less experienced of the children.

Name: Devin Namach

Age: 19 years old.

Physical Profile: Thin and pale is most peoples first impression of Devin. Those who stick around long enough to get second and third impressions quickly revise them to 'callous', 'dangerous' and 'slightly mad'. He is 6'2" of hard, lean muscle. Not bulky, but toned and well defined. His pale skin is stretched tightly over his body, giving him a harsh, rough edged look which contrasts with his messy, jet-black hair. His most striking feature is his vivid yellow eyes, which cause most people to flinch when they make eye contact or avoid it altogether.

Mental Profile: It is believed Devin was a little insane.

Type of Demon: Unknown. Was possibly a human.

Powers and Abilities: Major - Blinking: the ability to teleport short distances, Precognition: the ability to know something before it happens, Telekinesis: the ability to move objects with the mind.
Minor - The Devils Luck: a weaker version of precognition, Soundweaving: the ability to create, control or destroy objects by making different sounds, Telepathy: the ability to read minds.

One of the children who went to hell, he is currently the only known child to have turned to the side of evil! He was rumored to have been training under Loki.

Age: 24 years old.

Physical Profile: Picture says all.

Mental Profile: It is believed that Chang went insane due to being exposed to Hell for too long.

Type of Demon: Unknown, was believed to be human.

A child who is known for formerly working for the WDL, but now works for the Renegades! Her dark side threatens to engulf her and everyone around her.

Name: Ashley Clade, but her nickname is either 'Ash' or 'Soot'.

Age: 22 years old.

Physical Profile: Fairly tall and fit, Ash has long, flowing black hair; though she’s not opposed to tying it up behind her in a bun or ponytail. In fact, she’s recently been thinking of getting it cut… Regardless, her eyes are a piercing blue, and her skin is a fairly pale, but healthy tone. Not one for makeup, she tends to avoid lipstick and the like, so aside from her face, her defining features tend to be her clothes.

Mental Profile: On the outside she looks very much in control. On the inside, she is struggling.

Type of Demon: Half Demon

Demon Category: Unknown, believed to be a darkness demon.

Powers and Abilities: Major - Darker then Black: By embracing the darkness, Ash can become one with and controls it.
Minor - Telepathy, Poison Heart and Shadow Walk.

A child who was found after the original five were discovered - she is extremely hated by most, and she unknowingly causes chaos and disorder around her! Heaven wants to kill her, Hell wants to use her.

Age: 21 years old.

Physical Profile: Picture says it all.

Mental Profile: Seems to be sane.

Powers and Abilities: Major - The Void: The ability to fully nullify all unnatural abilities bringing demons and even human with special abilities to being normal in the most basic sense.
The Hands of Kali: Keilani has control of 6 invisible hands that is controlled psychokinetically.
Elemental Entity Creation: It is the power to create beings of elemental forces or shape them to certain forms.

The oddest of the children you will ever meet, this guy decided to go to the Renegades out of interest and already gets into fights he knows he can't win!

Name: Anders Agni

Age: 21 years old.

Physical Profile: Tatoos of Norse things such as Mjolnir, Elder Futhark runes, the Valknut, and Celtic symbols like the Celtic Cross, and various Celtic Knots, and the Symbol of Perun. 6'1" 165 lbs. Pale blue eyes. also usually wears Tripp Pants, Black Nail polish on finger nails, wears eyeliner

Mental Profile: Believed to be totally psychotic.

Type of Demon: Unknown, believed to be a human.

Powers and Abilities: Major - Ethereal Soul Shackles: sends out three chains that can bind up to three targets, limiting their movement and harming them.
Twitch: on physical contact, he can sends illusory nerve impulses to the brain that can cause seizures
Shadow Walking: when walking in shadows he can seem to disappear, he manipulates the shadows to make himself disappear

Minor - Astral Jaunt: teleports to a chosen location, then after a few seconds teleports back to his original location, short range.
Agony: Heightens target's perception of pain, making pain they feel seem worse than it is by sending illusory nerve impulses to the brain
Almost Hit: Sends a phantasmal projectile at a target, seeming as if it will be a death blow, just before it hits it disappears, possibly stunning and confusing the target

One of the last children to be discovered, her unusual pursuers want her for a specific reason! She currently is with the Renegades and plans to one day make it back to her normal life, or what's left of it!

Name: Mireya Nightless

Age: 17 years old.

Physical Profile: Mireya stands at the height of 5'4" and weighs approximately at 110 pounds. She has long purple hair that is usually undone and at times tied in a ponytail. It reaches up to her backside. Sometimes, the people take her hair color as black when under poor lighting. Another trait that is noticeable is her ocean blue eyes. They always have this subtle sadness within them despite her being cheerful or smiling. She has a "glamorous" body figure as many had described. They say that she could be a model if she wanted. Snow white skin also helps to her advantageous physical charms. Overall, she is a beauty that attracts attention whether it is needed or not. On a side note, she had been told to have the scent of roses about her.

Mental Profile: Looks sane.
