Master Roshi's destruction of the moon was done with a power level of merely 200, therefore anyone in the low 1000's could likely destroy a planet with mild difficulty.
However, since many of you are far beyond that, I have to impose yet another rule.
Any beam attack that is able to completely obliterate an opponent who is known to have a power level of at least 7000 (e.g. final flash), will be able to begin the planets destruction if it somehow hits the planet, this can be avoided by maintaining control of the beam, however surprise at the opponents dodge, or too many pre-existing injuries can prevent a player from being able to in time. Therefore both players must be wary of this, as being on a planet as it explodes will be an instant death.
The fighting players will have exactly 10 posts between them before the planet is gone, giving time to fight and return to their ships. Also, players who have completed the Yardrat mission and learned the IT will be able to instantly escape the situation after ten posts, giving them a free pass from this event.
(Note: this feature will only exist during a fight between two players, thus fighting an npc relieves you of this rule.)
