Role: Her

Full Name: Emily Antionette Yancey

Birthday & Age: September 22, 1990 || 20 years old.

Appearance: Emily is what you would call a 'simple' kind of beauty. Her narrow eyes hide away a soft shade of green emerald eyes and are complimented with very long and thick eyelashes. She doesn't wear make up too often, and is usually only seen with chap stick on. She has pouty, soft pink lips which are often shaped into an innocent smile with hesitation. Her hair is long, brown and carries a natural wave and curl. She usually keeps it down and its length carries down to her waist. Her skin is very fair, but she is no where near pale. She has a glow to her skin tone and her cheeks are a soft pink. She stands at 5'9 and weighs an even proportioned 135 pounds.

Personality: You're typical piece of humble pie. Emily is kind, and never sees a reason to treat others with disrespect. She is very giving and is known to give her last of anything to someone who needs it more than she. Loving, caring and compassionate, she has a soft spot for the people she holds close to her. Helpful and dependable, she is definitely that one friend you always run to with your problems; being a comforter and nurturer.

She does have her flaws. She can be demanding towards others when she is under stress or pressure. She can also make very sarcastic comments when irritated or pushed on the edge. No one is perfect and Emily certainly doesn't claim to be.

Background: On September 22, 1990, Margarette Ann Yancey gave birth to a brunette green eyed baby girl and named her Emily. She would then be the youngest of 2 older siblings. For the next years of Margarette's life, she quit her job as a nurse and took her role as a stay at home mother, while her husband, Charles Yancey, worked as a social worker. You can say they were a middle class family. Charles didn't bring in much, but it was always enough for their family to live comfortably. Emily grew up in a seemingly happy home, but at the age of 9 her parents separated and things went downhill from there. Her now single mother was constantly struggling and even though Charles helped for the next few months, things slowed down once he married the woman he was having an affair with. Emily hadn't spoken to him since.

Through the struggle, they ended up loosing there home and moved to a small 2 bedroom apartment not far from there old home. At the age of 11, things changed for her when was befriended by a boy she grew an everlasting attachment for. Years went on, she graduated high school and ended up attending a small junior college not far from the states college. She pursued a career in teaching praying for a better life than what her mother had. A life of her own. Eventually, things began to shatter in Emily's life and here she is, struggling. Worse than her mother. More than she had ever wished for.

Likes & Dislikes: Emily is fond of reading and has a small novel collection of her own that she enjoys. When left alone her head is usually always buried in a book. She also loves to sing, but she keeps that hobby discreet. Even though she has two left feet it has never stopped her from busting some moves when in her room. Of course, alone. She's addicted to caramel frappuccino's and power bars and has a constant sweet tooth for cookie dough ice cream.

She dislikes arrogance. Although Emily is smart she doesn't claim to know everything under the sun and she despises when other people do. She can't stand avocados or cream cheese. She also has a slight fear of being in the dark, so she always sleeps with her lamp on.

Role: Him

Full Name: Lucas James Nightingale

Birthday & Age: February 14, 1989 | Twenty-One

Appearance: Luke is just about your average guy. Maybe just a tad taller at exactly six feet. His eyes are a simple chocolate brown while his hair is a sort of unkempt dirty blond that falls where it pleases only occasionally being tamed in the morning with a few runs of his hand through it. For a football player, he's relatively small. Not some juiced up muscle head, or a six foot seven tall giant; but he is in shape, and can run two miles in under ten minutes. He enjoys what he does. Without a doubt though, Luke's most startling and striking physical feature is his smile. A flash of pearly whites, dimples, and even his eyes have a sparkle in them when he's truly smiling. As for attire, you can usually find this guy sporting a pair of jeans, any variety of plain t-shirts or plaid button downs. He often forgets to shave, leaving him with an almost perpetually bit of stubble that he hasn't decided if he wants to grow out or not.

Personality: Luke your typical, casual, laid back and go with the flow kind of guy. He doesn't say a hell of a lot, nor does he like being the center of attention, but he can definitely get his point across more so in actions than in words. A good amount of the time though, he tends to be lost in his thoughts, a sort of an enigmatic, or what some would call a dreamer. Despite his slightly space case demeanor though, he's most surely a hard worker and knows what he wants. If he decides to do something, or say...go after someone, he'll reliably and unrelentingly give it his all and more. He's the kind of guy you can go to if you just need a hug, or just need a laugh.

Full Name: Tara Elizabeth Marilyn Anderson

Birthday & Age: October 23rd, 1990 / Twenty

Appearance: Tara is five feet and six inches, which can be short compared to others.Tara's slender but she's still got wonderful curves. Tara has beautiful breast length light blonde waves, which can look almost white sometimes, but most of the time it looks like a light blonde. Her long lashes surrounded her chocolate brown eyes and make them 'pop'. Her reddish pink lips are usually covered in some lip balm which protects them from the weather. Tara has extremely small feet, and people always comment on the size of them. And her hands are rather small aswell. Tara wears clothes that are stylish, but she's learnt how to find stylish but comfortable clothes. She loves to dress up on special events.

Personality: Tara has always been the girl who sits in the corner and just let's others boss her around. She's like a doormat. She'll let everyone step all over herself and finds it hard to stand up for herself. But lately, she's been standing up to others a lot more. But when customers start getting snippy with her, she'll get just as snippy back, but she'll try and keep a smile on her face, just for her work's safe. Tara is sort of organised, but she can be quite tidy. She find's that it's easier for her to find things when it's messy, which can be rather strange. She's quite a girl-y girl, and hates getting dirty or camping. She'd been camping a lot growing up, and it just wasn't really her thing. Tara is very accepting, and aims not to "judge a book by its cover", although that can be extremely difficult sometimes. Tara has a very strong knack for comforting people. She's always the one people are crying to, asking for advice, and she will definitely give it to you straight up. But, only go to her if you don't mind someone who doesn't sugar-coat things for you. She doesn't like letting people live in the bubble of what they think is a "perfect world", and will help you through your issues, in the most loving way possible. But often, she's the one needing comfort, not others. Tara get's jealous, extremely quickly, and it's one of her major flaws.

Background: Born as the first and only biological child to Yasmin Hodgsworth and Jared Ainsley, the pregnancy couldn't of come at a worse time. Tara was born, only a week before the wedding, which completely threw everything out of wack. The wedding continued, the after party just didn't last as long, as Yasmin was desperate to go home to her beautiful baby girl. When Tara was very little, she really wanted a little sibling and her parents tried so hard to please her, but it was found that Yasmin had cancer, which is what her mother passed away from, and treatment and to begin, and after a long three years, Yasmin was cancer free. But she couldn't have any more children. Tara was upset, Yasmin busied herself at work and Jared became agressive. Soon enough, this got so bad that fights happened every day and a divorce was placed. so when Tara was seven, her mother moved out and into the next town, leaving her with her father.

Tara was stretched between the two. She was a massive daddy's girl but she did love her mother so much, who was she going to live with? She had no idea and it would often end in tears and tantrums. But when she was eight, her parent's came to an agreement. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, she would go to her father's house. Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, she'd be off to her mothers. And every Sunday, she'd be at her grandmother's helping her bake. It was like this for a while, and by the time she reached her teens, she had become rather agressive and super annoyed at everyone. She'd always leave her homework at her mother's house, and when she'd go to her father's house, she'd forget about the homework and get in trouble at school. It was like this for a few years, until the principal requested a meeting with her parents. She had gotten into a cat fight with one of the girls, which was rather extreme and had been suspended for a few days. This was the end of her rebellious days, which her parent's were grateful for.

Tara's father is rather rich, so he payed for her to go to college, even though she wanted to pay, he wouldn't let her. And at College, where she was majoring in English and Theatre. And that's where she met her boyfriend. Tara is still in college, her last year, and studying ever so hard. Her father's still paying for it, and he's paying for most of her small apartment, even though she doesn't want him to. Her parents spoil her, because they think their divorce has some serious emotional impact on her. Well it does, but they don't need to pay for everything. Jasmine has shelter, food and clothes, what more could she need? Apparently an iPhone (which she loves) and a fancy car, which she barely drives. Tara is still in love with her boyfriend, and thinks she will be for a long time. She's truthful with him (apart from the bad dreams she has about her parents splitting up) and hopes he is completely honest with her. He is, isn't he? Well, she knows he is a good female friend, who might like him, but he is hers. His little female friend, is not stealing her beloved cutie away.

Likes: Her boyfriend, sleeping in, white chocolate, marshmallows, her job, little kids, painting, rainbows and hot soup.

Dislikes: Jerks, sexist people, racist people, expensive stuff, boring sport, boring colors, people who hate holidays and having to work long hours without a break.

Other:
-Tara is half south african, half american, and her family barely uses English, so she has to speak Afrikans to them.
- She works part time at a local teens clothing shop and is studying to be a teacher, at college.

Role: Her Boyfriend

Full Name: Ace Korz

Birthday & Age: April 1st | 21 yrs

Appearance: Dark brown, wavy hair, olive skin on the light side, kind, sad, hazel eyes, atletic build, 6' 0" height.

Personality: Ace is very competitive guy, he doesn't take no for an answer and if faced with a challenge, he'll take it. Impatient at times, Ace would rather stay in his corner, read a book or listen to his iPod. He's usually aloof and unfriendly, can be a bit of a deadpan snarker, especially around others who annoy him. Dogged nice guy:type 2, a bit of an Emo teen, hot blooded, a grumpy bear, Jeark with a heart of gold (though your milage may vary) suicidal tendencies, perpetual frowner, sour supporter and currently alone. He enjoys the silence of loneliness, but also hates being alone...It's a two-way street for him.

Background: When his parents died in a car accident, Ace felt as though the world had suddenly turned against him and rather express his thoughts, he withdrew from everyone and everything. Since he was fifteen he'd been living alone, tackling three different jobs to make ends meet (only to find out that the meets are moved again) Frustrated with such a crazy life, Ace ends up being mean to everyone. Not that he wants, to, it's just a weird logic in his screwed up head that in doing so, he wouldn't have to worry about getting his heart shards torn to itty-bitty bits if someone was brave enough to break through the wall of China he'd built around himself. Now he's attending his day classes, and at night, one or both jobs depending on the day. Living life one day at a time, literally.

Likes & Dislikes:

Likes:-Music, classical even better, writing, reading, quiet spaces, sometimes to be just alone with himself. Working -all the time (workaholic much?) and keeping himself busy.

Dislikes:-He hates procrastianting, and people who lie. That he hates the most! Not doing anything, which would subsequently lead him to think about his craptastic past and really screw his mood. He also doesn't like to talk about his past and would succumbs to sulkyness if forced to.

Other: Ace has a sweet tooth, and can be very gentle with children.
