Childhood/Family Life:
Nothing about Daisy's parents was remarkable. Sure, they were well off, but most of it came from their parents. Her maternal grandparents had died relatively young and had left everything they had to their only child. It wasn't much, but it was enough to make sure they could live comfortably. Daisy's father, Thomas, was regional manager for a chain of drugstores, and her mother, Marian, was an elementary school teacher. If there was one thing Marian Hamilton had a passion for, it was books, and she passed that passion on to her daughter. The two would frequently be found curled up somewhere, both lost in their respective books.

Marian Hamilton was a gentle soul. Her students conspired that she had been a Disney princess once, but had given it up to teach them. She seemed to endear everyone she met. She was excellent with children of all ages, from the young kids she taught to the moody pre-teen her daughter eventually became. It seemed that everyone in the community seemed to know her and love her. She said hello to everyone in the street and seemed to stop to talk to every other person.

So when she was diagnosed with an aggressive, and terminal, illness, the entire community mourned with the Hamilton family. She died almost five months to the day after being diagnosed, leaving her husband alone to cope with their fourteen year old daughter. Thomas turned to religion to cope, becoming a devout, almost obsessive, Christian. Daisy, however, went off the rails. Her first three years of high school were three years of parties, hookups, and pretending that she'd grown out of her love for books. Her relationship with her father reached an all time low during those three years as Thomas condemned Daisy to be a sinner, and Daisy went looking for more sinful ways to pretend none of it was happening.

Towards the end of Daisy's junior year, she was involved in a bad car accident. Faced with potentially losing his daughter as well as his wife, Thomas went and spoke to the hospital chaplain. It was a conversation that changed his outlook entirely and improved his relationship with Daisy, as the chaplain told him that life wasn't as black and white as Thomas wanted to believe. Daisy's actions didn't mean she was a bad person. She was just a young woman trying and failing to deal with her problems, and her father calling her a sinner wasn't helping at all. Once Daisy was out of surgery and awake again, she and her father became as close as ever.

Daisy returned to the person she had used to be. She worked hard throughout her senior year and got her grades up enough to get her into Fulton, even if it wasn't a full ride. She admitted to her love of reading and became unashamed of it, even going as far as to choose it for her major. With the help of some counselling, Daisy came back into her own in senior year and her freshman college year. Pledging Theta Chi was the final confirmation that she was a new person.

Quirks//Habits//Oddities:
Draws hearts on everyone's orders in Starbucks || Plays with her hair and clothes while reading || Dog-ears all of her books || Doodles on her textbooks, even while paying attention

Good personality traits:
Loyal || Gentle || Intelligent || Confident || Hard-working

Bad personality traits:
Proud || Volatile || Sharp-tongued || Too forgiving || Lets her heart rule her head

Personality:
Daisy takes after her mother in many ways. She's also rather bookish, and there's few things she would rather do than curl up with a good book and lose herself in it for a few hours. She's a very gentle soul, and it's seldom you'll find someone actually angry at Daisy. Annoyed or frustrated, yes, but not actually furious. She's good with people of all ages, to the point where some of the nurses lamented when she was discharged from hospital because it was no longer another person to talk to the elderly patients and sometimes even comfort them. She works very well with kids, and intends to follow her mother into teaching. Her parents shared the same work ethic, one that they passed on to Daisy. Daisy's unafraid of hard work and is more than willing to put in as much effort as it takes to get her somewhere.

However, Daisy is not her mother. The two share differing traits and some may even say opposing traits. One of these such traits is Daisy's confidence. Having to pretend to be confident for all those years started to rub off of her, and as she came to accept who she really was, the confidence came with it. She's unapologetic about who she is and doesn't intend on changing for anyone. Her pride is tied in with this. It's taken so long for her to get back on her feet that she refuses to allow herself to be dragged down by anything or anyone... even if it's just to apologise. Her temper and volatility is perhaps one of her worst points. She's got a short fuse and an explosive temper, which seldom ends well for anybody. While she would never get physical, she's got a sharp tongue, and when she's angry, she won't hold back. When she's upset, she also has a tendency to push people away as much as she can. While her coping mechanisms have improved, they're still far from perfect, and they're not always healthy.

Her therapist has a theory that this all has something to do with how forgiving she is. She lets her heart rule her head far too much, and she has let people back into her life that she shouldn't have. She knows she shouldn't do this, she knows that it will probably result in her getting hurt again; but she has far too much faith that people can change. She believes in the power of kindness as well as karma and the law of attraction, constantly striving to put good energies out into the universe. And if she just makes one person's day a little better, it's worth it, as far as she's concerned.

Greatest joys in life:
Reading | Random Acts of Kindness | Friends and Fsmily | Ice Cream

Greatest fears:
Losing the people she loves | Flying | Terminal Illness

Life philosophy:
"Even the darkest nights will end and the sun will rise." - Les Miserables

Thoughts on Greek Life: Daisy had never really considered Greek Life before actually getting to Fulton. But on hearing about the Theta Chi library, she was sold. Part of her felt like she didn't belong in Theta, considering everything her high school life had entailed, but choosing Theta Chi was the confirmation that she was no longer that person. She's found a second family with the girls, and has never looked back.

Plans for after college: Daisy is unsure about her future career, having two options in front of her. She would love to teach English, but she also wants to be a journalist, hence the human rights major. She's unsure as to what she'll choose, but knows she has plenty of time to decide.

Build: Daisy just reaches 5'4 when she stands up perfectly straight. She's narrowly built as well, weighing in at 130 pounds. Neither her height nor how thin she can appear particularly bother her. She knows she's healthy, and that's all that matters. The fact that she does boast an hourglass frame helps, even if all of her curves are relatively small. She has good posture, which can make her look taller than she actually is.

Hair Colour: Her hair is brown, the exact shade depending on the light. It can appear to be a few shades away from dark, or a much lighter, warmer brown. It's somewhere between in reality, naturally falling almost dead straight.

Eye Colour: Green-hazel, again, their exact shade depending on the light.

Distinguishing Marks: She has a number of scars on her abdomen from the surgery, as well as a tragus and rook piercing in one ear. Both ears also have the regular line piercing.

Style: From how up to date and fashionable Daisy always seems, one would expect her to have a much larger closet. In reality, she has a number of basics and classics that go with everything, and she knows how to wear them to stay in style. She prefers to stay on the "classy" side of fashion, believing that there is always elegance in simplicity.

So begins...

Spotting Daniel's face when he winks at Daisy, Archie can't help but open his mouth to get one final jab in there. That is until he is cut off by Ben's fist flying toward his face. While the punch didn't knock Archie to the ground, Daniel then rugby tackling him did. As Archie was pinned down, a deep ache beginning to hit from his jaw, Archie looked Daniel dead in the eyes. There was no way he was gonna let a Kappa (a fuckin' Kappa) take him down so easily.

Luckily for Archie, his Big quickly stepped into the fight. Wrestling Ben into a headlock, Archie then only needed to worry about Daniel. Archie wasn't one to often go around picking fist fights with everyone, he was rather fit and healthy, which meant that overpower Daniel and pushing him away from his own body, wasn't too hard. Wiping the side of his mouth to check for blood, Archie's eyes narrow as he looks on at Daniel. Oh how badly he wanted to beat the shit out of the guy. Unfortunately for Archie, he was a Beta and therefore knew that beating someone up at an Alumni event was quite possibly the stupidest thing he could do. In fact, Archie would be lucky if he didn't get at least a threat of being kicked out from his house for just this scuffle.

Sharp words and piercing insults were typically Archie's forte, but as Daniel had reduced himself to violent, what was the Beta to do? He couldn't just take it. Jumping up off of the ground, Archie manages to land a punch to Daniel's stomach - hopefully winding the guy - before he feels his arms being pulled back, and he is restrained by the events security. It is then that Hudson, the Betas fearless leader, decides to make his entrance. "Take him, and both of you, get the hell out of here," Hudson seemed to be repressing his anger, letting Archie know that he'd more than likely be seriously in for it later. Pushing the security off him, Archie sends Hudson an almost sincere apologetic look.

Knowing full well that he should be feeling bad for what just happened, Archie still couldn't quite bring himself to wipe the small smirk that forms on his face. Yes, this was the completely wrong place to do this, but at least everyone at the event had seen Ben swing first - Archie hadn't done anything wrong really. Deciding to take in their ever-growing audience, Archie realises that a fair few attendees had turned their attention to the fight.

Kappa Alumni stood, mouths almost hanging open in shock at what they had just witnessed their old houses' brothers do. The Beta Alumni had a rather mixed reaction, some seemed to almost be excited by what had just happened, while others looked down on Archie and Maddox with distain. The Sigma Alumni, however, simply seemed surprised that none of their own were apart of it.

"You're a fucking psycho, dude," Archie eventually says, after everyone else has gotten their two cents in. Looking pointedly at Ben, and then over at Ya Ya, Archie gestures to the still clear angry guy, that stood before him. "He's not really the nice guy you thought he was, huh?" Running a hand through his now dishevelled hair, Archie turns to leave (knowing that's what Hudson wanted) with Maddox, before he spots Daisy walking over once again. "At least I'm not pretending to be something I'm not," Letting his hand glide down her arm, Archie's smile softens slightly, "Which is more than I can say for these two - be careful Daze." Turning to Daniel for the last part, Archie finally takes his leave, hoping Maddox will catch him up.

As he heads for the door, Archie sneaks one final look at Naomi, half hoping she'd come with him but also knowing that was probably not going to happen, he lets the door swing shut behind him as Archie is greeted by the cool night air. He rubs the place where Ben's fist connected with his jaw and sighs, that was definitely not how he saw the night going. Although, it wasn't quite over yet. He hoped there wouldn't be anymore fights, but wouldn't be exactly mad if one of the girls decided that he was a hero (which he thought he was honestly) and came running outside after him, into his arms. Wishful thinking.

The amount of people taking in the situation ebbed and flowed with understandable tension yet disassociation, allowing Amaris to continue watching from her perch at the bar with Blake. Naturally, alumni didn't always aspire to involve themselves in nor entertain the rambunctiousness and immaturity prevalent in college students. Most were full-fledged adults, if not already on the cusp of obtaining the title, lending to the either uninterested or annoyed demeanors Amaris hated noted. She didn't blame them either. Kappas weren't typically involved in as many physical altercations as Betas and esoecially Sigmas had, despite her disdain for having to acknowledge the legitimacy of certain stereotypes. And considering how much love Amaris had for her Kappa brothers and the time a he had had spent with them since her induction into Theta Chi, it should come to no surprise that things like these - unnecessary fights - just weren't things her boys got involved in. So, she didn't have to pay attention nor even involve herself in the proceedings or even aftercare. Not unless she knew one of the people involved Anschluss wanted to make sure they were okay by both smacking them upside their heads while making sure they weren't seriously her yet, even though most paid attention to and complained about the former. However, at least two of her boys - her friends - had acted violently first and Amaris cursed on another sip of her drink when she had seen Ben throw that punch. She definitely felt like not attempting to disassociate when she saw Hudson appear. His presence made her since, particularly once she saw the murderous fire in his eyes. "Damn it, I need to go over there." she stated and grabbed her phone, glancing back at Blake. "Watch my purse for me, babe? I'll be right back."

By the time Amaris had made her way over to the small group, both Daisy and Yuda had been long gone and while her phone vibrated in lieu of a text, hopefully from one of her Theta babies since they always held precedence over any others, Amaris chose not to glance st the device nor acknowledge it so insustence that she do so. Mostly, her attention was focused on the current scene she and the boy surely contained further in Hudson's eyes. Absolutely the two security personnel that had approached upon his requesting that Ben andre Danny be escorted off the premises. "No need to touch them," she insisted, stepping in between Ben and the security guard who was reaching out to grab her in. It was probably in everyone's best interest that Ben wasn't touched, particularly with force by someone he didn't know now but or twice rust. And they aren't off to buy each other friendship bracelets to exclaim to the work that they were besties, but there was no denying that ATL they were good friends. And disappointed Amaris may have been considering she had not heard the conversation leading up to the violence, as noted in the sharply pleading state she met Ben's gazes whrg, she also wasn't going to let him get manhabdled. She did place a gentle yet firm hand on Danny's arm. "They'll go willingly. I'll walk them out myself." The last part wasn't spoken, nor just to the security, but with a direct stare at Hudson. She had a strong feeling that he's really at her right up but bith bits and the entire Kappa Alpha reputation to shreds, and she really didn't feel like an argument. Ben and Danny didn't need to get forced out, the entire situation just got dramatic fast, and she was hoping that she and Hudson were on the same page in chanting the situation to be done with so that no one talked about it.

Finally, her attention was focused solely on Danny and Ben, and Amaris squeezed the forner's shoulder lightly. "Guessing you won't be able to get that dance after all, huh?" She whispered to Danny, mostly to get the the pinched expression off his face with a light jest. "You okay?" Was the follow-up since, regardless of wanting to chastise them both, their well-being took precedence. Her gaze rose back to Ben's a smile she asked, "You good, Ben? Let's head out so I can see you biys hine."

Everything came crashing down in a matter of seconds. A punch to the jaw, a tackle to the ground, a head caught in a strong lock. Naomi instinctively stepped back from the brawl, only to step forward again.

"Guys! Guys! Cut it out! Archie, stop! Danny, get off him!"

Her cries may as well have been whispers, for all the good they did. The boys kept fighting, and it wasn't until a couple of bouncers approached, followed shortly by Hudson, that they were all separated.

Catching Archie's self-satisfied smirk, she felt a jab of frustration.

You idiot. Are you seriously proud of yourself?

Then he glanced back at her, and she felt a pang of something else. Concern? Regret? It couldn't be either. Why should she be concerned? He started the whole debacle when he began talking out of his ass. And as for regret... as if she had anything to be regretful for. The scenario that had played out was set in stone. There was no replays to be had. No try again's.

Honestly, it was probably a good thing.

Still, her gaze lingered for a moment on the retreating pair before she sighed and turned to Yaya, eyes clear with concern. Reaching out to touch her shoulder reassuringly, she asked her sister the very obvious question.

"You okay?"

The whole thing ended almost as fast as it had started. Archie connected an elbow to Danny's forehead, causing Danny to loosen his grip. Archie wriggled free, and landed a blow in Danny's gut. Danny's breath caught in his chest for a few moments causing him to lose focus. Hudson was yelling something that Danny didn't really listen to, and security guards were pouncing on him and Ben. Danny spotted Amaris coming towards them. "No need to touch them," she said calmly as she approached. The guard loosened his grip, and Danny jerked his shoulder away, stepping closer to Amaris. She placed a hand on his arm, starting to pull him away. "They'll go willingly. I'll walk them out myself." Danny let a small smile form on his face. Amaris was always so calm, so in control. He admired that about her.

Danny kept his head down as they exited the crowd. Once free of the cluster of people, he glanced up to see Daisy in passing. Archie passed by and whispered in her air, glancing at Danny. Danny tensed up again, but the gentle touch of Amaris on his shoulder helped him relax. Her tone was soft, helping him refocus on her, "Guessing you won't be able to get that dance after all, huh?" She whispered to Danny. "Yeah, maybe another time." Danny half smiled at the girl. She was being genuine and checking on him. "You okay?" she asked. Danny laughed off the question softly, "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for the errrr... help. He scratched the back of his head as he spoke. She really had saved their asses. She turned back to Ben, "You good, Ben? Let's head out so I can see you boys home."

Danny nodded at her and begun his walk to the door. He really was ready to leave. Remembering Daisy behind him, Danny detoured her way on his way out. He leaned in close to her, scratching his head nervously again. He still wanted her with him at the end of the night. Trying to speak softly in light of the past five minutes, he said, "So ummm... I'm gonna head out with Amaris and Ben. You mind ummm... maybe coming back to the Kappa house with me. You could help me clean this up." He rubbed the cut on his eye made by Archie's elbow and pointed at the small blood stain on his tie. He smiled at Daisy, looking her up and down. She was absolutely gorgeous. She may have actually had Danny nervous at the moment. He hoped his impulsiveness hadn't ruined his chance at taking her home.

Before he left the party he decided to shoot out a few text.

xxx"i'd rather date an idea
xxxsomething i'll never find
xxxsure, i'll live in the moment
xxxbut i'm never happy here."

The worst of the trouble broke up before Daisy got there, something she was a little glad about. People stepped in remarkably fast, pulling them away from each other and getting them split up as soon as possible. Amaris appeared out of nowhere, taking charge of the Kappas, while Hudson Allen, president of the Alphas, appeared and took charge of the rest.

She was intending on catching up with the Kappas, but Archie had a little advice for her first. She rolled his eyes at him. "I think you need to listen to your own advice," she said, but grinned at him as he walked away. Amaris was leading Danny out, but as Danny spotted her, he stopped walking, letting her catch up.

She shook her head as she reached him, grinning at him. She was suddenly very aware of how close he was standing to her. Perhaps she was a little more drunk than she'd thought. Her inhibitions were... not as present as they could be. "I'm not sure if you deserve it," she mused, looking him up and down a bit. "Getting in a fight at an important event like this... You could have brought shame on your whole fraternity. Honestly," she said, "I leave you alone for ten minutes, and you go and get in a fight. I'm starting to think I should walk you home just to make sure you don't get in any trouble along the way." She had an idea of what actually going home with him could entail, and she wasn't sure if she cared or not.

"Or will you just drag me into all that trouble as well and tarnish the name of Theta and my perfect reputation?" She asked, raising her eyebrows at him.

Daisy looked a little bit off kilter as she spoke to Danny. Chuckling to himself, he listened intently as he smiled down on her. "I'm not sure if you deserve it," she mused, looking him up and down a bit. "Getting in a fight at an important event like this... You could have brought shame on your whole fraternity. Honestly," she paused for emphasis, "I leave you alone for ten minutes, and you go and get in a fight. I'm starting to think I should walk you home just to make sure you don't get in any trouble along the way."

Danny made a strained smile to display that he understood her sentiments. She was right. He would probably face consequences from the fight. He couldn't even employ the alcohol as an excuse. Danny was underage. If the administration decided to come down hard on anyone, it would likely be Ben and himself. The Kappa duo had thrown the first blows, despite any provocation they might have faced before hand. Danny pushed these thoughts away. The worries were better suited for another, less drunk, time.

As she asked her next question, Daisy raised her eyebrows at Danny suggestively, "Or will you just drag me into all that trouble as well and tarnish the name of Theta and my perfect reputation?"

Danny let his smile soften, and he held his hand out to her before speaking. "No more trouble here. I've had enough of that tonight. Come on Daisy," Danny pointed toward the exit with his head, "Let's get out of here."

Amaris didn't say another word to Ben once he gave her the affirmation to his well-being, instead nodding slowly and walking with the duo outside. While she had to raise an eyebrow at the fact that Danny had made the detour to include Daisy on his leave of the event, she couldn't help but appreciate the brunette's inability to be silent on the matter and chastise him for Amaris. Because she was going to do so - it just so happened that Daisy beat her to it. So, while the two sophomores conversed lightly, Amaris walked with Ben, opting to keep an acceptable amount of distance, not because she felt like she could provoke him, but out of self-preservation anyway. As much as she hated thinking about it, she had too much experience with being close to someone ready to blow a fuse or just coming down from the high of an over-to-soon display of violence - even if Ben didn't consider her a target at all, she had been one before and she wouldn't be one tonight. Luckily, though Amaris rethought that once she saw how Benny still wasn't calming down with Yaya's presence, his girlfriend-not-girlfriend appeared and he was distracted. Amaris pulled her own phone up to pull up the Uber app, belatedly seeing the text from Yuda. It made her roll her eyes, but she decided to text the girl before returning to Uber.

To: Yuda
It's early in the night, babe. If you want to leave, by all means, come outside. I'm calling an Uber for Daisy and Danny.

"Alright, you two," she called, distancing herself from the now group of three now that that other Alpha girl was present, and approaching the two. She gave Daisy a pointed, questioning look, but said nothing about the apparently budding relationship. Danny flirted with everyone; it was nothing new. And she had a lot of love for the sophomore. It didn't mean she couldn't side-eye him when he showed interest in any of her girls. "I'm heading back inside. Your Uber should be here in ten minutes and I think Yuda's coming with. I would've seen if Ben wanted to ride with you two, but umm...I don't think that," she made a nod to the tension of the trio that was away from them, "was something you two wanted to deal with, especially if Yuda is riding with you." Amaris acted out a partial shudder at what could unfold if Yuda had to deal with anymore prolonged social interaction, especially if more drama happened to be involved. She wouldn't be surprised if the girl or Daisy text her saying that Yuda had asked to be let out of the car and called an Uber of her own to get home, just to escape it. She fixed Daniel with a sharp stare while demanding, "Behave." Then, her gaze softened and she reached out to graze his forehead lightly with her thumb. "Sober up, idiot." Finally, she met Daisy's eyes and smiled. "And text me when you get back to campus and where you'll be." Amaris gave Daisy one more pointed look, accompanied by a knowing smirk, before turning away from the two and beginning to head back inside.

Amaris ended up stopping herself and approaching the trio, attention focused solely on Ben. She wasn't one of those friends who felt the need to ask permission with their eyes to the significant other if they could speak to their friend. Before there were boyfriends and girlfriends, there were friends and she and Ben were good ones. And, though she did like Yaya and their primarily fashion-related conversations from time to time, the Alpha junior was not her concern. Ben was. "Hey, I called an Uber for Danny and I think Daisy might be going with him back to the house, so you don't have to worry about him, okay?" Mindful of the fact that Yaya seemed to be blocking the other Alpha from getting any closer to him, Amaris smirked lightly before coming over to Ben's left side, leaning up on her tippy toes with the aid of her heels to add lowly so that only he could hear, "And let me know if Allen actually holds true to his little promise of lawsuits. You and I both know impulsiveness and empty threats make up the bulk of Beta personalities, but still," she leaned away and smiled up at him gently. "You and I both also know that I am very adept at getting my way when I want to." Amaris gave him a wink and a friendly squeeze of his arm, nodded to both Yaya and the other Alpha while stating, "You all get home safely", and the proceeded to get back inside to Blake, her Cosmopolitan, and whatever drama that the night had in store.

She beamed at him as he promised there would be no more trouble. She knew that there wouldn't be, but he still probably deserved to be told off even a little after the events of the night. She turned towards Amaris as she called them, raising her eyebrows at the other girl's look. She knew that Amaris probably knew what they were up to, but also didn't care. Like she seemed to be telling everyone, she was a big girl and could handle herself.

She glanced over at the aforementioned group. Even from their considerable distance away, she could practically feel the tension. She didn't know everything that was happening, but she also didn't want to know. If she could feel the tension from this far away, she certainly didn't want to get mixed up in it. At Amaris' mention of Yuda, Daisy just laughed. Poor Yuda couldn't handle normal social interaction, let alone being in the same Uber as Ya Ya, Ben, and Abby.

She rolled her eyes as Amaris told Danny to behave, but grinned and nodded as she told Daisy to text her with her plans. That was one thing that Daisy always made a point of doing. In high school, she'd freaked out her friends a few times by disappearing with guys without telling them. In her senior year, when she'd gotten her act together, a friend had done a similar thing to her, and ever since, she'd always made a point of telling somebody where she was going and who with. If nothing else, it meant they could come pick you up if it came to it.

"So, what series are we planning on marathoning?" She asked Danny teasingly as Amaris left.

Abby eyed Ayala whenever she took the ice wrapped in a towel from her and tended to Ben's bruised face. Yet, she still stood there and looked at Ben then her gaze bounced over towards Ayala. She stayed silent for a moment then parted to lips to speak but chose not to as Ayala asked Ben if there was so other reason she should be taking care of him and not Ayala. She looked up at him and heard his response then lowered with a little chuckle. Of course, typical Ben to bounce around the question and not answer. Abby looked back at Ayala with a sudden smile. "Actually, I'll ride back with you guys. I don't think there's anything left for me in there, honestly." She informed Ayala as she continued to speak. "I wouldn't want to ride alone with a stranger." Her lips pursed into the form of a slight smirk as she eyed Ayala then bounced her gaze over towards Ben. She really wanted to say something to the both of them but decided against as everything will hit the fan within due time. Her eyes went over towards Amaris, who was talking to Ben as she nodded her head back towards her and gave her a little wave of her hand as she trotted off. Abigail continued to stand there beside Ben and Ayala until their uber ride came. "Too bad we never got a chance to dance, Ben." She muttered softly towards him as their uber arrived before them. She allowed Ben and Ayala to get inside of the vehicle before her as she got in last then took out her cell phone to send out a group text towards Yuda and Daisy.

To: Yuda :), Daisy :)
Riding with Ben and Yaya. You girls get home safely. :)

After she sent those texts, she leaned back in her seat with a soft sigh and stared out of the window for the duration of the ride.

"Behave." Amaris rubbed the knot on his forehead lightly, "Sober up, idiot." Danny looked up at her. Her gaze was soft and firm. He smiled a half smile at Amaris, adding in a quick, "Gotcha." He followed that with a thumbs up. Danny was a little bit more drunk than he realized, and his body swayed as he looked at her. Refocusing himself, he watched a Amaris told Daisy to be sure and text her when Daisy decided where she would sleep for the night. Danny smiled and mouthed a thank you at Amaris before she walked away. Turning her attention to Danny, Daisy asked, "So, what series are we planning on marathoning?"

Danny smiled as he placed his hand on his chin, feigning thoughtfulness. "Well... the third season of The 100 just went up on Netflix, or we could go with an old school Gossip Girl marathon. I mean you do remind me of Blair Waldorf." Danny raised his eyebrows suggestively. Danny stood up, making a loop with his arm. He nodded for Daisy to allow him to escort her to the Uber. He continued with a playful tone, "Either one is fine with me." He headed towards the door with Daisy on his arm. When they reached the exit, Danny held the door for her, surveying the party one last time before they left.

He saw Ben, and Danny could feel the tension of the trio across the room. Danny laughed to himself. Ben was never one to live a boring life. He made eye contact with him for a second, leaving him a suggestive goodbye nod. With that Danny turned towards the cold air. He breathed it in, allowing it to sober him up just a tad. He walked to a bench sitting down gently, brushing off the other half so Daisy wouldn't have to sit on leaves. "The Uber should be here in a second. You'd better text Yuda and make sure she makes it."

"The Uber should be here in a second. you'd better text Tuda and make sure she makes it."Yuda heard as she walked out of the venue and followed the familiar voice who she assumed was being directed towards Daisy. She had gotten Amaris' texts but didn't bother to respond, she would know if she got home just by seeing her at the house and that should be enough for Amaris because that was enough for her. Yuda was walking barefoot down the stairs and to the general direction of wherever the voice was coming from. She hadn't done much walking on this lively night but her feet were already killing her, so she crossed her fingers and hope she wouldn't get a tapeworm. She saw the bench Danny and Daisy were sittting on as she walked towards their direction. Although it may not look like it to normal people, Yuda saw signs of PDA forming and she was not planning on having that in her agenda for tonight. What did she do to combat that this? She simply plopped herself in the middle of the bench and forced a conversation.

"Hey you two, Amaris said that you guys would have a room for one extra in your uber and it would be rude for me to reject such a gracious and paid offer, so here I am Yuda sighed and leaned back on the bench, resting both her arms on the frame of it.""Hope you two had fun tonight, stirring up trouble and what not. I'm surprised SPCA didn't get a memo or something and come collect the lot of you." Yuda sniffed a little bit and smellled the faintest hint of alochol, this could be her opportunity for some prying and she was not about to let this golden moment go to waste. She shifted her body towards Danny and interrogated full force. [color=#C78BE3]"What do you know about that Ben guy? What's his relationship with Abby? What do you think made her upset? Why do you think it made her upset? And don't lie to me because I can tell if you are." Yes, maybe that was a bit too much of a torrent of questions for someone to handle, but Yuda wanted answers and she wanted it now and Abigial didn't seem so keen as to answer them. [color=#C78BE3"]The Uber won't be here for a bit so FIRE away while you can and don't leave anything out.":

Yuda pulled out her phone to send an angry tex as she waited for her answers to be served to her, hoping that they would be given on a silver platter; well, she wanted it to be angry but she couldn't find the heart to be too mean.she looked at the group chat that was created for one message and began to type a very demanding response. She was going to find out what she wanted to know.

To: Daisy, Abigail
Not to completely ignore your last statement or anything, but you're going to meet me in the library tomorrow some time so we can discuss a few matters that need to be discussed, okay?

Yuda sighed, her intolerance was showing a little bit. She ran a hand through her. She took out one of the mints she had packed from her purse and popped it as if it wasn't a stress reliving pill. She was about ready to hit the hay

Danny heard Yuda's footsteps as she approached from behind the couple. "Hey you two, Amaris said that you guys would have a room for one extra in your uber and it would be rude for me to reject such a gracious and paid offer, so here I am." Yuda threw Danny off when she plopped down between the two of them, cutting off his physical connection with Daisy "Hope you two had fun tonight, stirring up trouble and what not. I'm surprised SPCA didn't get a memo or something and come collect the lot of you. What do you know about that Ben guy? What's his relationship with Abby? What do you think made her upset? Why do you think it made her upset? And don't lie to me because I can tell if you are. The Uber won't be here for a bit so FIRE away while you can and don't leave anything out." Danny looked over Yuda's shoulder as Daisy with a look that paired his surprise with heavy amusement. The girl hardly knew Danny, yet she was bold enough to hammer at him with questions. Danny wondered why she cared, but Yuda seemed genuine. He elected to tell her what he knew.

He drew a deep breath before beginning, "So ummmm... well here's what I know. Ben and Ayala have been off and on for a while. She is a lot of drama, and so is Ben. They fit, but personally I don't think she is good for him. She brings out the worst in him I guess. Anyways, Ben and Abby have always sort of had a thing. Abby and I are pretty good friends, and she always talks about her crush on him. I guess she thinks that with him being my Kappa brother, I can help. I would if he listened, but he doesn't. Ben's an impulsive dude. I love him to death, but he thinks with his penis half the time. That keeps him in trouble. I think she was upset cause the guy she liked was fighting in an alumni event. I guess that part is kinda simple." Danny tugged at the still tightly buttoned collar of his shirt. The line of questioning had caused him to tense up. Fortunately the Uber was pulling up. He approached the newish Honda Civic that was their ride, holding the door for the two girls to get in, Yuda first and Daisy to follow. He called to the driver in the front seat, "Theta house back at Fulton first, and then the Kappa house please." When he settled into the car, he slipped his hand into Daisy's, intertwining his fingers with hers. Turning to the girl, he threw her a toothy, mischeivious grin. Danny was honestly excited for the rest of the night.

At Yuda's appearance, Daisy opened her mouth to say hello, but her Big instead immediately took into grilling Danny about everything that had happened. Daisy checked her phone as Danny started his answer, raising an eyebrow at Yuda's text, typing out a quick response.

To: Yuda
I don't know all that much, but I'll offer what information I can x

Yuda didn't seem all that happy about the events of the night. Daisy couldn't really blame her. Their brother house had been a considerable part of the fight, and it could reflect badly on Theta. Daisy was probably going to be annoyed when she sobered up and had hindsight on her side, but for now, she was a little peeved at best.

Eventually, the Uber showed up. Daisy found herself in the middle, between Yuda and Danny. At the thought of what awaited them for the rest of the night, her heart was starting to pound. As Danny intertwined his fingers with hers, she glanced over at him, raising an eyebrow. "Behave," she said quietly, echoing Amaris' warning. But she accompanied it with a grin, letting him know that she was grinning.

However, she was aware of Yuda's presence, and not wanting her Big to feel like a third wheel, she turned to her. "So, Yuda, how was tonight's event for you? Getting used to it? Or am I going to have to continue dragging you out of the house to them all?" She asked, still grinning. "I still firmly believe you'll end up enjoying them. We're getting up on the dancefloor next time," she insisted. It was all in good spirits- she'd known her Big long enough to know that she genuinely didn't like all these social events. Sometimes, even Daisy felt like staying home and reading. But the difference between her and Yuda was that Daisy seldom regretted going out, even if she hadn't felt like it.

Riding along in an uber with too lovebirds wasn't really Yuda's ideal night-ender, but she went with the small talk Daisy offered since she was generous enough to ask. "You'll probably still have to drag me out of the house by the hair if you ever want to see me out again, sorry to upset."Yuda ran her hands through her hair. "I guess it was alright though. Yuda wouldn't exactly say she had the most fun of times but it kept her occcupied for a few hours from the project she was putting off for as long as possible, so that was definitely a plus in her book.

Yuda didn't talk for the rest of the ride, she was way too exhausted and her feet felt swollen from the minimal amount of walking she had done. She was glad that they had finally pulled up to the Thetha House and she rushed out of the car before the couple. "Don't get too rowdy now."Yuda said as she left, not really caring if they heard or not. She was ready to do her skincare routine and then hit the hay for tonight because she had a meeting and a class tomorrow. Staying up late was not a remedy for these problems.

"Why do you look like a supermodel?"

"Why do you look like shit?" Amaris shot back, unrepentant, as she approached the haggard-looking Kappa. Nick shot her an unimpressed glare, but Amaris only raised a delicate eyebrow, stopping directly in front of where he sat. It was only 11:25 and very much still morning, but Nick had been up and about at eight in the morning for a three hour lab he honestly should have scheduled for the afternoon. However, like the dumb ass Amaris had called him when they were planning out their schedules just before the summer, Nick had insisted on doing a few classes in the morning. He was up anyway; he had mused. Except, he obviously hadn't factored in nights like last night, where he had chugged more rum and cokes he probably should have. Luckily, he hadn't thrown his entire existence up in the toilet - a win, if you asked him - but he damn sure didn't leave unscathed. Amaris had made sure to give him enough water to counteract the worst part of the hangover, but there was no denying by the tired look on his features. Amaris held two travel mugs in her hands and after a shake of her head, which was accompanied by a light chuckle, she handed one of them to him.

"Such a good friend. Provides for me while insulting me, I'm so grateful," he replied sarcastically. He did, in the next breath, gratefully take two large swallows of the caffeinated beverage, delighting in the hot sweetness that flowed on his tongue. While Amaris acted like she had hated her job at Starbucks during freshman year, she hadn't walked away from it without skills and the truth was that Nick preferred going to the Theta house for his coffee fixes as opposed to Starbucks. They had a lot of the same syrups and even fixings, and Amaris made a mean caramel snickerdoodle frappucino, a treat from Starbucks' secret menu that still tasted great with her Lavazza espresso. He practically moaned on another drink and Amaris rolled her eyes as he declared, This is everything."

"I bet." Sipping at her own, Amaris waited for him to rise for them to continue, heading towards towards the gated entrance so that they could leave to get to the food trucks that lined the sidewalk during this time. Most days, Fulton Students finessed their way through the lunch rush at the Student Center's main cafeteria, hoping to get that quick bite in between classes or at the various small delis, bakeries, sushi spots, grille, and coffee shops on campus. They had pretty decent chefs on campus, that much Amaris had realized during freshman year, but the real treat was at the food trucks of Miami that came to take up college kid dollars that honestly should be kept in their wallets. However, the food was always good, no one ever walked away unsatisfied, and she herself had partaken in the food truck frenzy a few times. Today wasn't that day as, since she hadn't had to go to work first thing in the morning because she had been helping with a project that had taken up some late nights, which resulted in her having Monday off, she had cooked for herself to save a bit of money. Her spaghetti squash mixed with kale, apples, and chicken sat, warm, in a container, inside of her purse beside a Vitamin water, just waiting for them to sit and eat. "Unlike some people, I had to meet with the board this morning since certain people's brothers decided they were street fighters at an alumni event."

"Hey, you said that you saw what happened - "

"Yes, and regardless of what might have incited the first blow, one of your boys was the one who delivered it," Amaris interrupted, giving Nick a rather pointed look. While she had definitely stressed the fact that obviously the boys had responded in lieu of a verbal assault from the Betas, and also making sure the board remembered that there was a lengthy history of assaults from the Betas that hadn't resulted in last night's actions and that such a display was bound to happen at their behest due to their own negligence (yes, Amaris took that risk), the Kappas boys involved weren't exactly going to walk away without reprimanding and a small punishment. Neither were the two Beta boys, regardless of their acting in self-defense. "Ben and Danny have to do seventy-two hours of community service and help clean up after the Beta and Alpha event on Wednesday." Nick's mouth opened, but he closed it a moment later.

"And the other guys?"

"Community service," she replied, nodding at the truck Nick was bound to pick. He had a deep love for anything Asian and Amaris liked Dim Ssam a Go-Go just as much as he did. Nick shot her a small smile before heading over to look at the menu he was already familiar with. "Might as well text them, though. We need to have a meeting to make that announcement." Nick frowned, but he didn't refuse, pulling out his own phone just as Amaris pulled out her own from her Saint Laurent purse.

To: Hudson
Your boys need to fulfill 72 hrs of community service. Monetary contributions to foundations do not count, I checked.

To: Hayden, Danny, Ben
Meeting in an hour. Getting lunch now, but Mare has the verdict from the board.

Archie had ended up going home alone the night before. Something that was a rather rare occurrence for the young Beta. Being good looking and apart of the most sought after house on campus meant Archie really had the pick of most people, and Archie was never one to turn an offer like that down. However, although he may have gained a few bruises here and there, Archie also quite possibly got some sense knocked into him a the previous nights Alumi event. Waking up this morning with a rattling head and aching jaw, Archie finally realised that he'd properly fucked up this time. Of course, the guy had a fairly well known reputation for being a little bit of a troublemaker, but never to this extent. Wanting to make amends for last night, but still maintaining the stance that it was the Kappa houses fault (they did swing first), Archie shoots off a few texts.

To: Omi
I realise I kinda fucked up last night. Forgive me? 0:-)

To: Mad
If Hudson doesn't kill me this hangover will. Thanks for looking out for me tho, man.

To: Daze
You ok today?

Just as Archie has sent those off, his phone beeps with an incoming text. It's a group message from Hudson, informing them that those involved in the fight have been giving community service from the board. Hudson, being Hudson, had already figured out the easiest way for Archie and Maddox to complete that, whilst still making the Beta house look good. Hosting a fundraiser was a great way to make the Beta house look like good guys, they were raising money for charity after all! Albeit because they were given community service, but still, Archie doubted the Kappas would have thought to do something like that, it was more likely they'd be picking up trash for their 72 hours.

Having slept through his alarm - and therefore his first lecture of the day - Archie figured he should probably make an effort not to miss the second one, between cutting class and starting fights, Archie realised that this was a sure fire way to be kicked out; and that was the last thing he wanted. Throwing clothes on, Archie had come in last night and simply collapsed into bed, having woken up in a full suit Archie slipped into something far more casual for the day ahead. His favourite hoodie was a comfort for Archie who wasn't particularly feeling the best, his head was buzzing as Archie made a beeline for his bedside table, grabbing a pack of paracetamol and downing a few as quick as he could - Drinking is fun, hangovers are not.

Grabbing his backpack from the back of his door, Archie runs a hand through his hair. It was curtailing messy, but in the kind of way that it could have almost been styled to look that way. Plus, Archie really didn't care too much about his hair at this moment in time, and so simply shrugged at his appearance in the mirror which also hung on that same door, before shutting it closed behind him.

Juggling a throbbing head and a psychology lecture was possibly not the easiest thing, but Archie got through it with about a litre of water and a very false - yet very convincing - smile. Another perk to being a Beta was, that charm they are oh so famous for, and because of that, Archie found that he was able to win over one of his lecturers, Ms. Begum, rather easily.

Being a petite and rather round woman with thick rimmed glasses and bushy black hair, it was difficult for her to not feel flattered when a young, handsome man tells her that she look wonderful and that he always looks forward to her lectures. While last night may have not been a great way to show it, Archie typically was quite a chilled guy with a approachable aura and easygoing attitude. That attracted a lot of people to him.

Giving Ms. Begum her daily compliment, Archie finishes the lecture with a smile - this one far more genuine, but not for the best reasons; he was just happy that it was over. Not that he'd ever tell his Professor that. Exiting the lecture and heading out to the hallway, Archie sighs a little before grabbing his phone and sending one final text.

To: Ya Ya
I feel bad about last night. Can I get you a coffee to make up for it?

Daisy smiled up at Danny as she teased him, "Behave." Danny smiled back at her. As they pulled up to the Theta house, he waved goodbye to Yuda. He set his eyes forward and imagined how the rest of the night might go. When the Uber arrived at the Kappa house, Danny thanked the driver. Keeping his hand in Daisy's, he ascended to his second floor bedroom slowly. He couldn't lie. His body was slightly sore from the tackle he had landed on Archie and Archie's subsequent blows. He opened his door and motioned to Daisy to go inside his room. Considering there was always a chance Hayden would bust through the door, he locked it behind him. Danny turned to Daisy, speaking with a faint smirk, "I'm all yours doc." He laughed as he sat on his bed, staring up at her.

Daisy waved a goodbye to Yuda as she left. She didn't let herself look at Danny, but inside, she was thinking, making decisions about the rest of the night. While her inhibitions were erased slightly, they were still present in the background, enough to let her keep her common sense.

The Kappa house was quiet, and Daisy could feel and hear her own heartbeat, especially as they got to his room. She teasingly raised an eyebrow as he locked the door, before shaking her head as he called her doc.

"You can cut that out right now," she instructed, sitting beside him on the bed. "Honestly, I'm not even sure you deserve this much," she added teasingly as she knelt up to get a better view at his cut.

Danny's heart was beating wildly now. Daisy's face was practically even with his, but he shook it off. Wrong moment, they had all night. "You're here aren't you? See anything? Do I need ice or a bandaid?" He spoke to her playfully. Danny breathed in the scent of her perfume. It drove him up a wall. He could feel his muscles getting tense as they yearned to touch Daisy.

As Danny spoke, Daisy became hyper aware of exactly how close they were. She sat back on her heels, shaking her head. "Honestly, it's hard to even see the cut itself, I don't know what you've been making all this fuss about," she teased. "I think somebody just wanted my complete, undivided attention." She added, staying exactly where she was.

After laughing at Daisy's last statement, Danny sprung up. "Ya know what?" he directed at her as he walked across the room, "I still owe you a slow dance." Danny plugged his black iPhone 7 into his Beats Pill speaker. He thumbed through a couple playlists before finding Drops of Jupiter by Train. As the first few notes tinkled throughout the room, Danny approached Daisy, holding his hand out. "So, may I have this dance?" He beamed at her, feeling an almost romantic mood descending upon the room.

She jumped a little as he sprung to his feet, raising an eyebrow at him. Before she could even start to ask, he explained himself. She shook her head as the music started, laughing at him. "I wasn't lying about those two left feet, by the way. So apologies in advance if I'm terrible," she said, getting to her feet and taking his hand. She'd never actually slow-danced with anybody, and was starting to feel a little out of her depth.

Danny laughed at the beauty as she swayed with him. He placed a hand on her hip and held the other arm out to their side. Still chuckling, he looked her in the eyes, "Don't worry. I've got you. Follow my steps." Danny moved slowly so she could catch his rhythm. "See it's not that hard. One, two. One, two. One, two... Now I'm gonna twirl you in a few seconds so get ready!" Danny was genuinely having fun. He smiled as he twirled the girl out to his side, pulling her back in, this time all the way to him. Her back was pressed against his body, and he placed both hands on her hips. Whispering in her ear, "I told you it wasn't that bad," Danny let her twirl back to face him as they continued their dance. As the song wound down, he felt the moment approaching. Danny let go, leaning in to kiss Daisy.

Daisy let him lead her, laughing a little at herself. This was so different to everything else she'd ever experienced, a far cry from the thumping bass and nights she could barely remember from her high school days, She could never have imagined heself in this situation, not until very recently. And that made her happy. She knew she could trust Danny, knew that despite his hot-headedness, he would accept whatever decision she made. So when the music stopped and he leaned in to kiss her, she kissed him back, one hand moving to his hair and keeping the other on the small of his back.

The pair let the fun and spontaneity of the night carry them away. It was a night Danny would never forget, and he hoped Daisy wouldn't. Surprisingly, when he woke up, Daisy was gone. He thought back on the night before. It went exactly as anyone could've expected after the kiss. He put the pillow over his head, sighed into it, and rolled out of bed, heading to the shower.

xxx"i'd rather date an idea

Daisy had always been an early riser, and she had long ago learned to function with a hangover. So when she woke up at seven, she didn't really have any excuses for not going to her lectures. So, she'd returned to the Theta house to change into something a little more suitable and comfortable for a day of lectures, wash off the traces of the previous night's makeup, and grab her books. And, of course, make coffee. As she waited for it to brew, she'd texted Danny.

To: Danny
Sorry, 9 a.m lecture called. Hope that papercut of yours doesn't hurt too much ;)

Nobody had been terribly surprised at the small turnout for lectures. But the lecturers hadn't cared, and they'd just ploughed into the work regardless. Daisy was glad of that, because it made her feel like she'd done the right thing in coming in for them. With her travel mug of coffee in hand, they'd been enjoyable as well. In one of her classes, they were starting Macbeth, so the class had been spent discussing various superstitions of Elizabethan England and the importance of various types of imagery in Shakespeare. The other had been spent debating the roles and duties of UN Peacekeepers in war-torn countries, something she'd found oddly absorbing.

Her first break of the day came at 11, so she decided to get some proper breakfast that didn't just consist of coffee. Having gotten herself a pastry and a smoothie, she sat down and checked her phone, sending a few texts.

To: Archie
Only a touch of hangover, and nothing coffee can't fix. Even made it in for first class, which is more than I can say for... most people, actually. Feeling the effects of the fight yet?

To: Yuda
I'm free for the next little while if you want to have that 'meeting' or whatever. Give me a time and I'll be there x

To: Eliza
Hey, I lost track of you for a while last night. Are you around? Fancy a chat and a catchup?

To: Hayden
How's the head this morning? :P

Danny let the water pour over him in the shower. He just stood there for a while, remembering the rollercoaster that had been the night before. The cut had turned into more of a knot, and Danny rubbed it vigorously whit soap for the sake of keeping it clean. He didn't really want to leave the shower. Daisy was plenty enough to distract him from the impending consequences of his actions. Now he knew he was going to have to face them, and he would have to go to class. At least he had made sure he no classes until after lunch on Monday. Danny hated Mondays with a passion.

Eventually he climbed out of the shower. Looking to the clock, he noted the time. It was 11:30. Danny threw on something comfy to walk around the Kappa house in. He heard his phone buzz, and realized he had several messages. Sitting down on his bed, he typed out a reply for each one of them.

TO: Liz ღ
Ok, I deserved that. Let's just make some time to talk to today.

TO: Kappa GM
I'll be down in a sec.

TO: Daisy ;)
Yeah, I think I'm fine. Had fun last night. Thanks for ummm... taking care of me ;)

Looking up from his phone, he thought for a second about whether or not there was anyone else he needed to text. He had an idea, and pulled up Daisy's conversation again.

TO: Daisy ;)
Quick question... Can you give me that Archie guy's number? I wanna call him and see about apologizing and patching things up.

TO: Weston
I didn't see you last night bro. You on campus?

With the last text to Weston, Danny closed his phone. He headed towards the bathroom once again to brush his teeth and his hair. Then, as reluctantly possible, he descended the stairs to the Kappa kitchen. He walked in and past Hayden, slapping him on the back as he went by.Grabbing a banana and a water, he turned to face him, "Some night huh?

Hayden would chug the drink, before he turned to see Daniel. His eye twitched as he did. He was going to blow.

"Some night? You mean the fact you got into a FUCKING FIGHT AT AN ALUMNI EVENT!? Daniel are you serious right now? Some night, you pass it off as some sort of event that wasn't important. You embarrassed the Kappa household. Danny. Both you and Benny were too stupid to even consider this? Honestly I HOPE whatever you have to do, isn't good enough," the brunet would yell. He was obviously angry, him being in his pajamas it wasn't going to be easy to take him serious. He would turn around and look towards the stove. "I'm sorry for blowing up. I'm just mad you guys are that stupid to go after Betas. Their leader is a bully, and a dickhead," he would finish before he would feel his phone vibrate twice.

Don't think Mare's gonna care about ur state of dress

While Hayden didn't like Mare, she held the fate of his own Big and best friend. He would sigh as he noticed the second message was from a message he hadn't seen....in awhile.

FROM: Cyrus
Haven't seen your pretty face in a while, Burr. Want to grab dinner tonight?

Hayden looked down and bit his lip. Could he even go with him? Would that be alright? He liked Cyrus, but he doubted this was for what he hoped. The Kappa would silently groan and look at Danny, as if to say that this was not over. He quickly sent a flurry of replies to the people who responded.

TO: St.Nick
Okie dokie. I'm going to look better than this. You know if it's good or not?

TO: Cyrus
Sure,James, pick me up at 8:00? Also, you see the fight last night?

TO: Alexander Hamilton
Hey Daze, can you come over at like 6:00ish and help me pick and outfit out?
