Power or Ability: Yes
If Yes, What: Braithwaite possesses superhuman strength, being capable of shattering mountains, lifting and tossing aside entire buildings, and extreme durability. He's also been seen possessing some measure of kinetic force ability in which once he's moving he can run through any known substance. [SECURITY NOTE] PATIENT MUST WEAR SHOCK/TRANQUILIZER COLLAR AT ALL TIMES*NO EXCEPTIONS**
Super Criminal Association: Yes
If Yes, Who: Confirmed affiliation with Super Criminal and Arkham inmate The Joker. Also reported to have worked for Lex Luthor
Family: None
Biography: Oliver Braithwaite spent five years serving in the Queens Navy as a Royal Marine. Military jacket is highly classified after year 4. Believed to have been special forces. Braithwaite is reported AWOL 2 years after receiving his special forces training. Surfaced in Uganda as a Mercenary, working for a local Warlord. Spotted several times around the world working for crime bosses and terrorist groups. No loyalty proven to any of the above mentioned groups. Psyche reports show contract was merely for payment. Connection to Luthor is unknown. Braithwaite stated in an interview with Arkham Resident Professor Hugo Strange that he was offered an opportunity by Luthor to "hit the big time" and was offered a serum created from synthesized alien dna recovered from a battle between Superman and an alien force. The serum granted Braithwaite his abilities and the ex Royal Marine, now calling himself The Juggernaut, was sent after Superman by Lex Luthor. The resulting confrontation climaxed with the destruction of the Kandor Memorial bridge and the leveling of nearly six city blocks of downtown Metropolis. Superman was able to render Juggernaut unconscious. Juggernaut consequently broke out of prison and surfaced again in Gotham as an enforcer for The Joker. Police reports state his first encounter with Batman resulted in Batman suffering a savage beating, physicians best guess is that the Dark Knight received at the least several broken ribs, a perforated ear drum and a severe concussion. Juggernaut continued his crime spree along side The Joker and Harley Quinn for several more months until the second meeting with Batman. Reports indicate in this second encounter Batman, aided by Robin, was able to subdue Juggernaut with a mixture of explosives, high voltage projectiles and tranquilizers. Patient was then shipped to Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane and processed.

Image

Personality/Tendencies: [TAKEN DIRECTLY FROM REPORT FILED BY PROFESSOR HUGO STRANGE] Inmate exhibits overly aggressive tendencies toward others as well as a complete disregard for innocent life or collateral damage. Mr. Braithwaite seems to be solely motivated by a pension to increase his monetary and social standing through criminal means. Patient has surprisingly shown some sense of mutual respect for those whom he feels have proven themselves physically. Case in point is Superman. Mr. Braithwaite exhibits no ill feelings or anger towards Superman for besting him in Metropolis yet has described in great detail a hatred for Batman for doing the same thing. Patient site's the Guardian of Gotham was afraid to fight him, as he put it, fairly.
Current Years in Asylum: 1
Current Level of Insanity 1-10: 2
Additional Notes (optional): Patient has until this point been solely a gun for hire. Recent psyche reports indicate that Oliver may be looking to strike out into business for himself. Monitor carefully.

Warden Ghost made his way back into the asylum where he saw Hans in front of a door. He looked at Hans disappointingly and phased through the door. When he got through to the other side he saw Juggernaut and Dr. Calhoun. He gave a quick glance to the doctor with his shades on and then turned to the Juggernaut. This was the second tie he'd seen him and he was impressed by his sheer size.

Hans who saw that the warden had taken over things headed back to his office where a patient was scheduled for an evaluation. He knew Warden Ghost was disappointed in him for failing to get Juggernaut out before he arrived. Dr. Hans was familiar with failure with the Nazis and U.S Military science, he planned on making this his shinning moment. On his way he back he passed Alexei and Shadow, he gave Alexei a simple smile as he continued to make his way to his office. On his way there he grabbed a lunch tray from the cafeteria.

When he arrived he saw Brandon already waiting. "I do apologize for being late Mr. Robertson. Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Dr. Hans Klarheit. I'm new to the facility, you've probably heard my voice over the intercom earlier in the day." Hans began to say as he took his seat. He placed the lunch tray in front of Brandon. "It's now your lunch time, regardless of my evaluation patients must eat, so when you're finished we will begin if you're comfortable with that doctor." Dr Hans said as he pulled out a book from his desk and began reading.

Back in the area where Juggernaut and Dr. Calhoun were, the warden pointed to the guards and instructed them to leave. He took off his glasses and stared at Juggernaut in the eyes for a moment. Then he calmly placed them back on and touched the shackles around Juggernaut's legs. He phased the shackles off his legs and then did the same to the shackles around his wrists. Juggernaut was now free from being bound to the room. Ghost looked back at Dr. Calhoun. "My office, now" Ghost said in his mysterious voice that seemed like a whisper from close up even though he was standing away from the doctor. Ghost turned back to Juggernaut and motioned for him to follow as he began to walk to the cafeteria.

Milo had a frown upon his face when Dr. Klarheit spoke in a disappointing tone. Milo had never seen him before but he heard he was supposed to be the new head doctor for the asylum. Still he didn't mean to disobey the new warden he had hoped for the evaluation to go through rather quickly. Then Juggernaut mocked him, no doubt picked up on Dr. Klarkeit's scolding. Still he had more worse problems to deal with when the new Warden appeared. He had hoped to meet this man earlier but fate wouldn't allow him the audience right away. The Warden dismissed the Doctor as he left for the cafeteria. Then the Warden did the most rather odd spectacle. He phased the shackles off of Juggernaut allowing him to move freely. Milo was a little bit worried as he found it strange he would let such a dangerous man roam freely. Sure he had that tranquilizing shock collar around his neck but sometimes they didn't work quick enough against some of the more stronger patients. He remembered Killer Croc wore a similar collar during his time in the asylum and even though the guards activated it when he got unruly, he sometimes got away with harming others before falling down.

Juggernaut here is about the same size and perhaps even stronger than Croc so he wouldn't depend on that collar so readily. The Warden had some sort of eerie might about him and he felt strangely safe until he spoke towards him.

"My Office, Now."

He didn't say it in a overly displeased tone but it was...odd. Still he wasn't going to disobey as he measly spoke, "Alright." Milo then got up and with his stuff headed for the Warden's office.

Ghost lead Juggernaut to the cafeteria where they were serving lunch. "I'm apologize for Dr. Calhoun making you miss rec time. You can grab your lunch and eat it outside in the yard if you like as repayment. I'll make sure the guards don't shoot you as long as you don't escape." Warden Ghost said this as he quickly headed out of the cafeteria without waiting for Juggernaut to respond.

He headed into his office where Dr. Calhoun was sitting. He slowly walked behind him and two his chair, his footsteps echoed in the room. Ghost crossed his arms on the table. "Tell me about yourself" Were the only simple word that echoed out of Ghost's mouth. He had no idea who this doctor was, he solely invested in learning about the patients of the asylum. Ghost didn't care to much for the doctors or guards because they weren't the reason he was called in to run Arkham.

He stared at the doctor through his thick black shades, reading his body language, profiling him in a way.

Ghost watched Dr. Calhoun fidget his thumbs nervously. Ghost was dissatisfied with the man's nervousness. Ghost let out a sigh and looked down at his desk. He ignored almost everything the doctor had said, it was not the answer to the question that mattered to Ghost, how he answered was what he wanted.

"So you've been here for ten years and you're still frightened in this place. Doctor the major patients have all escaped and I see that you have trouble working with Juggernaut. You're even frightened right now, look at your nervous tendencies right now as we speak. You had Juggernaut in the room, surrounded by guards, chained, and with an electrical collar. If you were in Juggernaut's shoes wouldn't those elements effect how you answered on your psychiatric evaluation?" Ghost began to start as he looked at Dr. Calhoun.

"Dr. Calhoun for one night only you shall be known as Mr. Calhoun. Do you want to know why?" Ghost asked rhetorically. "Because for this one night you will a patient of Arkham Asylum and you will be sharing a maximum security cell with Juggernaut. You will learn to not be afraid of him, you will see the world through his eyes, and your psychiatric evaluations will be as accurate as they should be for someone who's spent a decade analyzing patients who are criminally ill." Ghost said as he took off his glasses and stared at Mr. Calhoun with his pale eyes.

The warden was a bit shocked to see how frightened the doctor was to just spend one night with Juggernaut, a patient he's probably interviewed plenty of times. He hoped this overnight stay would make the doctor less afraid of his patients, but that all depended on how Juggernaut responded to the doctor. This was also a test for him too because Juggernaut was very civil although he was large and ferociously strong. If Juggernaut could control his anger around the doctor he could be placed in the general area with people who could socialize with.

"There's no need for you to apologize, this is not a punishment. I promise you will not be harmed as long as I am in this asylum" Ghost said with an assuring tone to the doctor hoping his nerves would calm. "Before you go in to your cell, I want you to take a look at The Cannibal's file. I would like to add him to your schedule of patients when you return" Warden Ghost said calmly, trying his best not to rile the doctor.

"Uh yes, of course." Milo said still a bit shaken as he looked at The Cannibal's profile.

Leonard Beington a.k.a The Cannibal, well already this doesn't sound good. Milo thought as he flipped through it some.

"Born into a wealthy family...had a morbid and twisted way of thinking at an early age...condition worsened after his sister was born..." Milo continued to skim.

"Without provocation tried to murdered the first person he saw...seven years of treatment worsened condition." Milo said as he looked over it a little more.

"Escaped and then murdered four people!" "Obviously this man has very aggressive tendencies, where Juggernaut's problem is more behavioral this man is mental." Milo thought to himself.

"Survived a dangerous crash during a pursuit...was treated then shipped to Arkham." Milo read, "During the first week had a fatal encounter and was shipped to Solitary." Milo read as he closed the file.

"Alright I will schedule an evaluation for Mr. Beington when I'm a...doctor again..." Milo almost grudgingly spoke as he packed his stuff and got up from his seat.

"Is there anything else?" Milo asked Warden Ghost, "Otherwise I'm going to go pack up my bearings and lock them up in my office." "Then I will head for Mr. Braithwaite's cell." Milo said looking at the Warden.

Juggernaut was in the yard with his tray of food sitting in the sunlight more than a little confused. There were a few inmates around most minding their business some talking in little cliques. The remnants of Jokers crew or Penguins, Ivy's, nearly all of the gangs affiliated with one of the co called Rogues gallery spent time in Arkham at one point or another. Well, the more devoted followers at least. Juggernaut was eyeing them carefully. The oddity of what had just taking place in the Dr.'s office was confusing but was done with and while Juggernaut didn't know why events had transpired the way they did he didn't much way of figuring it out nor did he have the desire to. His mind had turned it's attention to the other inmates. The Rogues gallery's ex members. He would need to enlist them and begin to build his empire the question was where to start?

Warden Ghost closed the door behind Shadow and straightened the cuffs of his suit as he walked towards his desk. "I believe you Shadow, but no use in me punishing a man who was just knocked unconscious and nearly got both of his eyes gouged out." The warden said as he leaned against the desk and faced Shadow with his arms crossed.

Warden Ghost got on the intercom for the first time and it would be the first time everyone in the asylum heard his voice at the same time. "Attention all inmates, this is your new warden. Lunch has now ended, report to your cells where you will spend the remainder of your day. Dr. Hans will pass through everyone's cell to hear out any request or comments you have for me, he will report them to me before the day is over. After that dinner will be served, followed by lights out. That is all." Ghost said on the intercom as his voice calmly echoed throughout the asylum.

Ghost placed the intercom down and turned it off. "Now tell me Shadow, what set you off in the cafeteria? I saw how you attacked that man, you did not have the look of random joyous violence, you were striking with intent. What did the patient do to upset you" Ghost asked as he placed his shades on the desk behind him to show his eyes once again to her.

Milo nodded as he left the office and headed for his office. Still perplexed and outraged by his current predicament Milo wasn't sure how this was going to play out. Before with the previous Warden he wouldn't have suggested such a thing. For he knew that the inmates who are in Max Lockdown and Solitary are placed there deservedly so. For they are dangerous and cruel and remorseless and ruthless. Still this new Warden seems to be trusting of the inmates going off fate that they will conform by allowing them privileges that were rightfully taken away. Maybe he believes allowing them certain liberties will help make them more willing to accept treatment. Perhaps showing them some kindness might make them more readily acceptable of help, sine they were helped first. Sure it sounds like a good plan and therefor Milo sees no trouble in taking that route, but the process as to which the Warden is undertaking is...strange. So far it's radical and already against regulations by placing him, a staff member, to room with a patient. At least it should be against regulations, shouldn't it? This job did come with occupational hazards to be sure but forcing him into an extremely hazardous situation. The best we could do is avoid and monitor these hazards but you shouldn't be allowed to place staff members in harm's way!

When Milo reached his office he closed the door and began to clean up his desk. Being stuck in a cell for a night with an inmate. Milo still couldn't believe what he is being forced to do. Sure he is frightened and deservedly so. Juggernaut fro one has abilities beyond normal man and Milo is just a man. Sure when he was chained up across from him he was alright knowing guards were around until the Warden phased his shackles. Milo still kept on thinking about the Warden's words. He was nervous because he believed he did something terribly wrong and had no idea how the Warden would react! Saying he didn't know why he should be frightened of Juggernaut just because he wasn't? What kind of sense was that?! Of course Juggernaut has nothing to be scared of he is a walking freight train! What could possibly harm a person like that?! Certainly nothing in this facility. The only reason Juggernaut hasn't taken over is because we have him securely locked up. Despite Milo's logic he was placed in this situation whether he liked it or not. No amount of complaining and arguing could spare him now. He only hoped the chains that bind him would hold up. Sure The Warden reassured him that no harm would come to him but it should be know that not everyone in this facility possess special abilities.

When Milo packed up his things he locked each desk drawers and each drawer on hsi filing cabinets. When it was all said and done it looked very clean as if no one was using this office. Now for his keys. He could take them with him but the Warden probably wouldn't like the idea he has keys, he would have to give them to some one for safe keeping. Milo thought as he figured he would give them to one of his friends, perhaps Martin. Then he stepped outside of his office and locked his door.

"Well wish me luck." Milo said at the door as he left to go find Martin Finchley, a paramedic who works at the facility along side another friend of his, Sandra Reeds.

Juggernaut was in his cell, his thick, savage albeit keen mind was mulling over how to achieve his goal. How to seize the power he so desperately craved. He had to start small, start with the simplest of things. Gather a crew. It shouldn't be that hard. At rec time tomorrow he'd make his presence known and begin marshaling the remnants of the other gangs to his banner. They would fight for him, earn for him so Juggernaut could begin his hostile takeover of the criminal underworld. A dark, evil grin began to creep onto the massive man's face foloowed frighteningly by a slow, maniac chuckling that built in power and volume.

Milo found Martin in the infirmary tending to some patient that was apparently attacked. Exchaning small pleasantries Milo asked him if he could hold on to the keys to his office for the night.

"Yes I can but can I ask why?" "Don't you usually take them home with you?" Martin asked as Sandra took over his job for the moment.

"Yes but...I have to stay the night here, only tonight though...inside...", Milo was reluctant to tell him as to not worry him.

"Inside what?" Martin asked curiously.

"A cell but only because the Warden has me undertaking some new therapy for patients but I need to stay over night here so I'm going to be sleeping inside one of the cells." Milo said giving him a lie mixed with some truth.

"Well alright that new Warden sounds...intimidating almost mystifying." Martin said referring to the intercom.

"Yeah your telling me." "Anyway tomorrow morning I will leave the cell and you can come by my office and hand me the keys, I'll be waiting there." Milo said.

"Alright well...try and get some sleep."

"Yeah I'll try." Milo said almost sarcastically. "And thanks."

"Sure no problem!" Martin called out to him.

Milo left the infirmary as he headed towards Juggernaut's cell where a squadron of guards were waiting by the Maximum Security Cell.

"Ah we just got here too." One of the guards spoke.

"Yeah for a second I thought this was some kind of joke." Spoke another.

"So is it true?" "You have to spend the night in there?" One of the guards asked.

"Yeah it is." Milo groaned.

"Well we're here to make sure extra security is in order." "We will enter with you make sure Juggernaut is secure and we will lock you in there with him." The Guard explained.

"Alright just make sure okay?" Milo nervously asked.

The Guard nodded as they opened Juggernaut's cell and they entered with Milo. The guards moved about Juggernaut's cell as the heavily inspected his shackles and chains.

Juggernaut had been harassing the guards for the past hour. Not sure why they were congregating outside of his cell he was making sure they weren't enjoying their post.

"...And then when I'm done I'll stop by your mums and give her a ride on my Big Ben if ya know what I mean!"

He paused to laugh at his own joke when he noticed Dr. Milo appear outside.

"Fucks this then?"

He said to himself as he watched the doctor speak to the guards. He looked nervous. More than that he looked damned right terrified. It wasn't long before the door opened and Milo was led inside by a contingent of guards.

"So what's the story Doc? You come to tuck me in?"

He asked with a sarcastic grin as the guards began checking and rechecking his chains.

"Oh well thanks lads, that's awful sweet of you. Yeah don't forget... GET YOUR FUCKING MITS OFF ME!!!"

He roared as he surged up. The chains held firm but the sound of all the thick links in succession being tested filled the room. The guards all jumped back in shock and fear, even the well trained guards of Arkham feared the unstoppable Juggernaut. The air filling the room was still and tense. No one spoke just stared at the anger filled eyes of the big man.

"Now someone tell me what's going on or we'll put these fucking chains to the test."

Milo looked at Juggernaut seeing how incredibly irritated he was becoming. This unnerved him but these chains will hold they must. Milo then decided to speak up.

"Well Mr. Braithwaite I really don't how to tell you this but...." Milo paused for a moment, "...were going to be...cell mates." Milo said as he nearly gasped.

"But it's only for the night!" Milo quickly interjected as to not rile up Juggernaut anymore.

"Well Dr. Cal- I mean Mr. Calhoun." One of the guards spoke, "We have doubled our inspection and have made the chains tightly secure." "If anything goes wrong during the night we will know."

"Yeah will have the night watch observe the cell regulary through out your stay." The Guard said reassuringly.

Soon all of them left as they closed the maximum security cell leaving Milo and Juggernaut inside.

"We will come back later when it's dinner then we will escort you both to the cafeteria." A guard said as footsteps faded down the hallway until they became inaudible.

Milo looked to one of bed structures as to where he will be sleeping as he sat on top of it as he held his head down. He had a perturbed look on his face as Milo had many thoughts swirling in his head over what had happened. He wondered how the night will play out, how Juggernaut will act, what the Warden was thinking, and what he could do to make things better. He'd almost forgotten Juggernaut was right beside him if he didn't look up from time to time to see the massive man chained up.

Juggernaut was having a hard time wrapping his head around what he was told. The good doctor was now bunking with him for the night. Not as a inmate but as a physician. This was some sick and demented test. One that normally Juggernaut would not be interested in playing along with but this was a rare treat. One he wasn't intent on passing up. Once his mind was set on it a wicked grin flashed on his face as he looked down at the tiny doctor sitting beside him.

"Well I gotta say Doc..."

He began before pausing to chuckle.

"I ain't had a sleep over in a while. We can stay up late, swap manly stories and maybe if your lucky I'll finish filling you in on my exciting escapades with the sex kitten Harley Quinn."

He said smugly before arching an eyebrow as he sat up and looked at the man beside him.

"You ever been in a fight doc?... Ever broken a bone?"

He asked suddenly.

Milo gave a groan. He had hoped Juggernaut wasn't so keen on sharing a room for the evening, that way they he could just say, I don't like this anymore than you do, lets just stay out of each others' way and the night will be over before we know it. Milo had repeated in his head. But it looks like Juggernaut actually enjoyed the fact he was in here, probably excited to annoy someone no doubt. Juggernaut acted more and more like some schoolyard bully than a feared super villain. Milo wasn't going to say anything to him hoping that ignoring him might bore Juggernaut. Then all of a sudden he asked Milo an odd question.

"You ever been in a fight doc?... Ever broken a bone?"

"Why do you want to know?" Milo asked acridly. His unhappiness obviously apparent on his face.

He isn't known for being rude even towards patients but considering the predicament he's a little beyond just displeased. He probably shouldn't have responded to Juggernaut in that fashion but his emotions are getting the better of his judgement. As he sat there mulling over the Warden's words he looked over to the door and the back into his hands again. Milo let out another sigh as he stared at the walls.

The massive hand of the behemoth shot out pinning the man to the bed in an instant. His monstrous grip wrapping around the torso of the doctor with ease as it slowly crushed the air out of his lungs. A wicked and savage grin etched its way onto the big mans face after the quick retort from the annoyed doctor. He leaned in, less then a hairs breath from the smaller man's face as he growled his response.

"Find it odd is all. You here treatin men like me but you don't know what it's like. Don't know the pain we've been through. Don't know the sound of your own bones breaking. That quiet little pop as something inside you snaps. The pain like lightning racing through your body as it screams in agony... Might have to show you one day.... A day that might come soon if you ever mouth off to me like that again chum."

Juggernaut held him firm for a second or so longer before letting go and sitting up, allowing the doctor to gasp in precious breath fulls of air. Juggernaut was silent, his face cold like stone as he waited for the doctor to catch his breath before looking at him again.

Milo coughed and coughed as he held on to his own throat as if he was drowning. He blinked rapidly as he felt his air slipped away when Juggernaut clutched him. He pounded on his chest as if something was blocking him as he tried to breathe regularly but it was hard. Considering the fact he was fearful for his life just seconds ago. He was hyperventilating as he coughed once more. After a few moments he began to catch his breathe. He looked at Juggernaut with apprehension and the he looked down at the bedding.

"What are you-crazy!?" Milo would have liked to say to Juggernaut but he knew he wouldn't get away in tact if he did that. So instead he said nothing.

"What am I supposed to learn in here, huh Warden!?" "So far Juggernaut just proved to me why he should be locked up in here!" Milo thought to himself. "The man is too aggressive to be locked up in here with!" "I knew this was dangerous!" Milo was outraged.

Despite his problems he showed none of it to Juggernaut instead he just had worried look upon his face. He foolishly hoped this would be the first and last outburst Juggernaut would do to him. Yet his threat shook Milo, this man is dangerous unless completely treated he is a danger to everyone around him.

"Judging by this man's actions he definitely needs more work than the Warden seems to believe." Milo thought to himself as he sat up again fully catching his breath.

Beyond his problem with the Warden, Milo was shaken up by Juggernaut. The man is fearsome and unbelievably strong and now he is stuck with him. A man who could easily snap his neck and he had to survive a night with him. Milo hoped that this made Juggernaut in a more sour mood. That way they could get back to Milo's plan, avoid each other for the night. Still that might be easier said than done as he felt Juggernaut wasn't quite through with him yet.

Juggernaut stared at the doctor as he sat in hurt silence. Too afraid or smart to speak again. The big man let a grumbling chuckle escape his lips before speaking again.

"So Doc I got a question for you. What lands a pencil neck shrink like you in big bad Arkham in the first place?"

The behemoth asked as he looked down at the doctor beside him.

Milo noticed that Juggernaut tossed out another question. Juggernaut asked how he came to be in Arkham as a staff member rather than a patient. I suppose curiosity would be apparent, after all Juggernaut and the others only know how to enter this place by way of crime and punishment. Although Milo really didn't feel comfortable speaking with him in this regard, considering he knows that the big man can easily grab him, he also doesn't want to repeat the incident over again. So Milo spoke up again more reluctantly but more considerately also.

"Well Arkham was always had an internship with the other doctors." "Not to mention they always combed UGS's Criminal Justice program." Milo spoke softly.

"At the time it seemed to be a good start on my career," Milo paused, "That was until I knew just how terrible this place could be."

"You see I didn't work with the patients yet, no I was an assistant to Doctor Crane." "After months of hard work Crane referred me for a permanent job." Milo said with a little bit of cheer in his voice.

"I expected to bounce around many more programs, heh, I didn't expect to get a job so early." Milo said as he gave a small smile.

"I guess you could say I just jumped right into the first job offered to me." Milo chuckled and then faded into a frown. "And naively so...looking back on it." As Milo's face grew colder.

The big man arched an eyebrow at the Doctor's response.

"You worked for the Scarecrow eh? Well before he was the Scarecrow that is. Small world innit? I did a job for 'im once. He had a mind to inject his fear toxin into meds to be shelled out to the local clinics. He teamed up with The Joker which is how I got involved. I was on loan as it were, till the crazy blighter got carried away torturing a nurse..."

Jugernaut paused as he shook his head at the memory. The sobs of the young red head filling his mind, her pleas of mercy ringing in his ears.

"Nearly got us all nabbed. Ended up leavin 'im for the Bat."

Juggernaut could still remember the look of surprise on the masked madman's face as he lifted him off the ground by the neck and hurled him through the wall, effectively ending the torture in one move.
