After Warden Ghost took a look at every inmate profile he emerged from his office. All of the guards seemed scared as he walked the halls of the asylum. He looked at none of the guards, he wasn't their for them. He was there for the patients. Ghost adjusted his cuffs on his sleeves as he walked down the halls, his footsteps echoed throughout the asylum. As he made his way ignoring the patients in the general area he headed towards solitary first. He looked in every padded cell until he found who he was looking for. One patient he looked at for a bit longer, the one by the name of Cannibal.

Ghost walked right through the cell door to see a woman. "Doppleganger..." he whispered, his voice seemed to echo and was ominous, just like a ghost. "...you will now reside in the general area." This was the first time Ghost had spoken to anyone at the asylum. He had made this decision seeing that her insanity level was only 2 in her profile. He exited the padded cell and opened the door, where fifteen armored guards awaited her.

Ghost then moved to Maximum Security where he stopped at the giant titanium enforced cell that held Alexei. He looked at him as he looked at everyone else, he didn't stand out to him in his profile, so he was hoping to see something intriguing.

Ghost finally made it to Juggernaut's cell where he was tied down with fifteen, eight inch thick, chains made of titanium as well. Ghost took off his shades when he stepped close enough to the small whole that peered into the cell. His eyes were pure grey and he seemed to be into Juggernaut's soul. He put his shades back on and made his way back to his office, not saying a word or looking at anyone.

The massive Englishman was silent in his cell as his mind mulled over how to gain the power he sought after. He was tired of being a tool of other, lesser men. He was done helping those he saw as too weak to lead and further their own ends. Instead he saw it as time he started his own outfit, get a crew together, make some real cash and then he'll track down the Bat and settle the score. First he had to start small, that meant getting support. Shouldn't be too hard with the recent escape of many of Arkhams heavy hitters. There was a lot of muscle still stuck in Arkham with no one to tell them whats what. That's where the Juggernaut came in. He'd assimilate them into his newly formed gang and if they wanted to spew any nonsense about loyalty to whoever they used to work for he'd just ask a little harder. He could ask pretty hard when he wanted to. The idea of beating one of the other inmates to a pulp while he convinced them to join up made the hulking man chuckle in his cell. It was then that a figure stopped by the door to his cell and looked in. Grey soulless eyes stared at him, boring into his very soul making Oliver's skin crawl. Fortunately the vigil only lasted a minute or so before the Warden left. Juggernaut grunted with a sigh of relief.

"Creepy blighter..."

Alexei met the new warden's gaze evenly, a glint of something in his eyes. Malice? Amusement? Boredom? He himself wasn't really sure. He knew that he of all people wouldn't be anything to worry about. At least, that's what he liked people to think. You're making progress! the doctors had said no more than six months before. What they really meant was, You haven't tried to kill anyone in a record six months! He let out a small laugh at that. They thought he was a cannibal. How foolish. He'd bitten chunks out of people's bodies. But it wasn't because he had eaten them. It was simply a mark. To show who'd killed them. The Shark. Good God, no, he hadn't eaten anyone. They tasted filthy. It was all for the love of the game. The only reason he was in this confounded Max Security cell... well, the only two reasons, actually, were the fact that his power required he be locked up good and tight, and his raging temper. Of course, he hadn't had an incident in months. Almost a year. But he would growl or snap at a doctor every so often, just for shits and giggles. They didn't take it that way. To them, he was a time bomb. Alexei leaned his head back against the wall. It felt good to be a time bomb.

The Arkham Asylum guards soon began going to every cell handing out breakfast which was actually better than the regular things they ate. Warden Ghost had specially ordered a new food regimen for the inmates. He took a look around at the food yesterday and realized that half the stuff they called food wasn't even suitable for vermin to eat. He had ordered that it be changed the same day. The breakfast they served today were waffles or eggs and bacon, they served according to each of the patients needs and dietary habits. The food was hot for once and the aroma was alluring. Ghost personally delivered Juggernaut's food as he phased through his cell. He pointed to the outside of Juggernaut's cell and waved no with his finger, as a signal telling him not to escape. He placed the large man's food on the floor, exited the cell, and shortly after Juggernaut's chains were loosened, so that he could eat. As the guards served breakfast to the inmates they skipped Alexei.

Footsteps could be heard walking in the distance, they were not Ghost, they had a different sound to them. A small old man opened Alexei's cell, he was wearing typical doctor clothing. Although he was old he was new to the asylum. His name was Dr. Hans Klarheit. "Good morning, your breakfast is in my office. Would you be so kind as to follow me?" Dr. Hans motioned for Alexei by waving is his arm. Soon after Hans, Ghost appeared seemingly out of nowhere beside the doctor. Ghost's hands were behind his back and he stood beside the old doctor waiting for Alexei to follow his lead. There were no other guards around them except the ones currently serving breakfast.

Doppelgänger smirked evilly when she was spoken to. "Alright. It's their funeral, though.." She laughed to herself, before being transported to the general area.

When she arrived, some of the prisoners looked up and stared at her. She was put into a cell with another woman, and was given breakfast. It certainly looked better than that slop they were given every other day. She was wondering if this Ghost person was actually that bad. She slowly ate it, wondering if they put any drugs or anything in it. Her cellmate was about to speak to her, when she turned and slapped her slightly. She responded violently and attempted to break her neck.

Doppelganger sidestepped, and kicked her in the back of the head grumpily. She attracted a few strange looks from other prisoners, to which she responded with a smirk. "What would you do?"

"Good morning, your breakfast is in my office. Would you be so kind as to follow me?"

Alexei lifted his head and peered at the old man from behind his jet black bangs. He unconsciously ran his tongue over his teeth. He noticed the warden, Ghost, standing by the old doctor. Cautiously, Alexei rose from where he'd been curled up, tapping his feet on the ground a couple of times before stepping closer to the doctor. "I̱líthioi, anói̱toi, nekroí," he growled under his breath in Greek. It translated to a catchphrase of his, "Idiots, fools, dead men." Alexei hates new people. And lo and behold, two new people stood at the door of his cell. He refused to be intimidated. He sauntered over to follow the doctor, involuntarily wondering what the hell this guy wanted.

Dr. Hans lead Alexei to his office which was very clean. Hans had just moved in, so there was not much mess for him to make in a short amount of time. Before Alexei could sit down in the new leather chairs Ghost had put in every interview room, got in front of Alexei. He pointed to Dr. Hans, made a cut throat motion, and waived his finger no. This was Ghost's way of telling Alexei he was not allowed to harm Dr. Hans. Ghost phased through the floor of the office leaving the two in the office alone.

Dr. Hans slid Alexei's breakfast to him on the other side of the large wooden desk. "Please eat. Warden Ghost has done a good job of acquiring new food for all inmates to eat. I personally wouldn't have done the same, but I was a big bad Nazi scientist in my day, so who's asking me in the first place" Hans said with no expression on his face. "Incase you're wondering I brought you here because I believe the doctors have given an inaccurate report on your psyche. I will begin asking a series of questions as soon as you finish eating" Hans said as he pulled out a book and began to read as he waited for Alexei. Hans was unnerved by the man who sat across from him.

Doppelgänger pursed her lips "Oopsie. I didn't mean to knock her out." She laughed, sitting down. How she loved being alone. She sat down on her bed, and stared at one of the prisoners in the cell opposite to her. She watched him slowly go insane, staring into her Amber eyes. He pulled on the bars, screamed in pain, and with every move he made, her stare intensified. She eventually gave up when he started crying, and lied down fully. She started to wonder what the other cellmates were like. The ones in Solitary and Maximum Security. They must find it nice. A cosy room.. Alone.. Although, company that you can't kill - Or they can't kill you is also good.

The office was clean. Professional. Almost welcoming. Alexei glared as Ghost gave him the no-no signal as far as harming the doctor. His mind screamed. YOU FUCKING DOUCHE I'LL KILL WHOEVER THE FUCK I DAMN WELL PLEASE YOU BALD SHIT! After his mental outburst, Alexei bit his tongue. Passive aggressive was his style. But he hated being told what to do. Hated. That was still no reason to lose his cool, he told himself. He took a seat in one of the gray chairs and listened as Dr. Hans spoke to him. Ex-Nazi. Psyche. Questions. Hmph. As the doctor began reading, Alexei picked up a piece of gray bacon and nibbled on it. Then, for the sake of suspense, he set it down and picked at the gray eggs. He repeated this process until the both food items were halfway done. Then, he brought his legs up and sat in a cross-legged position, resting his chin on his hands. "I'm finished," he said evenly. "I don't eat much anyways."

Dr. Hans looked up towards Alexei after he finished eating his meal. He calmly folded the page of his book to mark his place and put it away in his desk. "Well that's unfortunate. I guess I'll be taking you back to your cell now." Dr. Hans said with a face that was like stone. "I know I said I would ask you questions, but honestly you're quite the boring patient. Mr. Ghost would you please help me escort this young man back to his cell" Dr. Hans with his hands folded on his desk. Shortly after Ghost was standing by the Alexei and motioned for him to get up. Although Dr. Hans seemed strange he had a method to all of this and Ghost knew this. Ghost turned to Hans and handed him a piece of paper. Hans read the paper and pulled an intercom device from under the desk. Hans cleared his throat before he spoke.

"Attention all Arkham Asylum patients and guards. As by order of Warden Ghost all patients will be released into the new recreation area, outside of the main building. This includes patients in the maximum holding facilities and solitary. As per patients, those who use this privilege abusively, they will, and I quote 'never see the light of day again'. As to those who question this, it is an experiment to see how patients react to being around others and will effect your stay in the asylum, this should not be treated as play time and everyone should be on their best behavior." Hans said through the intercom and he shot a look towards Ghost because even he was confused.

Shortly after the announcement all of the gates were opened one by one to make sure each patient made it safety outside before another gate was opened. Ghost knew a riot wouldn't arise because of the mass amount of people who escaped the night before. There were only about a few prisoners left, roughly about one hundred. The guards were nowhere to be seen as they were positioned on the walls of Arkham with snipers loaded with several variations of tranquilizer.

YOU OLD ASS WRINKLED ASS PIECE OF HORSE SHIT! I'LL RAM MY BORING FOOT UP YOUR EX-NAZI ASSHOLE YOU FUCKING PRICK! Alexei bit his tongue. A moment later, he tasted actual blood. His face, however, remained blank, his eyelids slightly dropped. He said nothing as he got up and followed the warden. Whatever that damn doctor's method was, it was fucked up. Pissed him off. But then again, it was most likely supposed to. Alexei lowered his head, slight shoulders shaking in silent laughter. "Umnyĭ ublyudok," he muttered in Russian under his breath. Clever bastard.

Outside. Alexei's eyelids dropped further as he separated himself from the clumps and crowds of inmates. The outdoors bored him. As gray as indoors. The only difference was the splotch of white: the sun. Alexei sauntered over to a vacant corner, spitting out the blood that had pooled in his mouth on the way. He sat down and pulled his legs to his chest, then wrapped his arms around them. Almost like the fetal position. He thought it was comfy enough. With one hand, he flicked a pebble, watching it fly a few feet. Well this was entertaining. Alexei sighed. He wasn't a people person. To hell with socializing.

Dr. Hans and Warden Ghost were now in Ghost's private quarters which overlooked the area where the inmates were now in. The both stood by the window looking down on everyone ominously. Ghost pointed to where Alexei was sitting down. Hans spotted him outside in the corner

"Ah yes Alexei. It seems that my method worked. Most doctors would miss any signs of aggression, but I saw a bit of muscle movement near his mouth, more than likely biting his tongue after I knocked his ego down a peg. There is more to this patient than we think. The bad thing is that he knew I tested him today. While you escorted him outside, the tape recorders in my office picked something up he muttered in russian. Alexei said 'Umnyĭ ublyudok' which means clever bastard, I've heard this many times back in Germany. Anyway i'll have to develop new means of testing which will be difficult because you refuse to let me drug the food" Hans said to Ghost. Ghost turned to Hans, giving him a sharp glare behind his shades.

Ghost goes to his desk where particular files of interest he compiled are on his desk. He pulled one out from the pile and hands it to Hans. Hans takes a moment to glance over the record. "You want me to conduct an evaluation of this Shadow girl?" Hans asked. Ghost waves his finger no and points to the ground to signify that he wants her brought to his quarters. "You do realize she has a thing for wardens right?" Hans asked to make sure Ghost understood. Warden Ghost cleared his throat. "Which is exactly why she will be brought here. Now have her brought to me immediately" Warden Ghost ordered Hans as his voice echoed ominously just as before. The Warden's voice was almost spectral, which gave even more illumination to why his nickname was such.

Hans hurried off to intercom. "Will the patient going by the nickname of Shadow please make her way back into the asylum and to the warden's quarters. No guard will escort you on your way there, but if you do not obey you will be shot and sent back into your cell." Hans blared in a stoic voice throughout the asylum.

"Will the patient going by the nickname of Shadow please make her way back into the asylum and to the warden's quarters. No guard will escort you on your way there, but if you do not obey you will be shot and sent back into your cell."

Shadow sighed as she got up. Those idiots just wouldn't give up. Probably another evaluation. Like it mattered...

She walked - well as slow as a person with superhuman speed could, inside to the warden's quarters. She wasn't eager to go there, even tho she hadn't done anything wrong the last couple of weeks in solitary. She'd been a good girl.

As she reached the office she stopped and leaned against the doorframe to the office, examinizing the people inside. There was a new Warden and a new doctor. The doctor was wearing the regular doctors clothes and a sign that said "Dr. Hans Klarheit". Hm. German. Probably nazi as well. The other one was the new Warden. He was bald with dark sunglasses and a hard look on his face. Shadow smirked taunting. That Warden really thought he was something, huh? With his sunglasses and all. Fucking idiots.

"What?" she asked with a soft voice, pouting her mouth and making big bambie eyes. She just couldn't take those guys seriously. "Haven't I behaved in my little cage?" she asked and fiddled with a lock of her hair while glanzing at the two. Inside she was screaming. You fucking dicks, I've been in solitary for weeks now and it's fucking torture. I should kill you both right now and here. That pen for example... that would make a good weapon...

Ghost had been watching the situation unfold below with the patients, studying them, planning. He was the disturbed by Shadow who took her time getting to his quarters. Ghost motioned for Hans to leave by waving his hand. Hans obediently left and now was headed to his office.

Ghost walked away from the huge glass window and towards Shadow, standing about five feet away. Ghost removed his shades and set them on the table behind him. When he looked up his eyes were pale grey and they looked right at Shadow. "I've brought you here for one reason. I hear you have a problem with wardens." Ghost began to say as he put his hands behind his back. His voice was once again oddly echoing and ghastly "I wouldn't want to be a problem for you, so why don't you kill me right here & now? Perhaps with that pen you've fixed your eye on. My car keys and keys to all the doors to the asylum are in my desk, hell you could even escape with the lack of guards in the hallway." Ghost said to her with a straight face and serious tone.

He picked up the pen and held it out to her. "...or does the big bad warden frighten you?" Ghost antagonized her, his face was still unmoved.

The warden, Ghost as he was apparently called, motioned to the doctor. The doctor then left and let the two of them alone.
Ghost removed his shades and looked right at her. His eyes were pale and Shadow almost gasped. It was like he was looking right through her. "I've brought you here for one reason. I hear you have a problem with wardens." Shadow stopped fiddling with her hair and gave the man a smile dripping with fake politeness. Oh really?

"I wouldn't want to be a problem for you, so why don't you kill me right here & now? Perhaps with that pen you've fixed your eye on. My car keys and keys to all the doors to the asylum are in my desk, hell you could even escape with the lack of guards in the hallway." He was obviously trying to provoke her. It worked. Shadow instantly stopped the whole "I'm a stupid blonde" act and clenched her fists. That has to be her weakness. Provoke her and she'll go from charming and sneaky, to agressive and predictable.

Ghost picked up the pen and held it out to her. "... or does the big bad warden frighten you?" Shadow instantly stood up in an agressive position and hissed through her teeth: "It sure does sound tempting.." she grabbed the pen from him and then threw it against the wall. "But I'm smarter than that." If it weren't for the fact, that I'll get sent to maximum lockdown... I'd most definitely kill you. Trust me.

Warden Ghost turned his head to the pen that was now on the floor. "Interesting" The warden began to say before walking away from the front of the desk and returning to the window. On his way back he placed his shades back on his face. The warden now continued to watch the situation outside seeing that the violence had now died down a bit. Doppleganger had now joined the group.

"Your freedom was guaranteed just now, but yet out of fear of this place, you chose to stay here." Ghost said as he placed his hands behind his back. "I take it that you've been in maximum security before, the memories probably still haunt you, and prevent you from acting on your natural impulses. Or perhaps it's your history with wardens that stopped you. Maybe you have a bad past with one of them, it would explain your aggressive tendencies towards them." Ghost said as he turned back to Shadow. "Regardless of what is true, this place has scarred you, instead of helping you." Warden Ghost now sat down in his chair. "This is all I need for today, you may now head back outside if you'd like." Ghost said as he began to write down things in Shadow's folder with an extra pen he pulled out from the drawer that in fact did have the keys Ghost was talking about.

"Oh and one more thing Shadow. I'll be conducting all of your psychiatric evaluations, if another doctor tries to interview you simply wave your finger no. They'll understand what that means" Ghost said looking up to Shadow once more.

As Dr. Hans walked to his office he saw a mess of guards laid out on the floor, one with his arm missing. This was all in front of Doppleganger's cell. "You tried to prevent her from having rec time after the warden said it was okay didn't you?" Hans said in an agitated tone. He hurried off to his office and grabbed the intercom. "Attention all guards, the patient known as Doppleganger has attacked guards. Tranquilize her and gently place her back in her cell. Do not act hostile to her, it was the guards fault in the first place for not obeying the warden." Hans blared over the intercom.

One of the guards took aim at Doppleganger from the roof top with his sniper. He shot one of the lesser tranquilizer darts that were designed for patients her size. The other guards fixed their sights on her in case the first shot missed.

"Your freedom was guaranteed just now, but yet out of fear of this place, you chose to stay here" Ghost said. Fear? Shadow wrenched as she remembered what had happened first time she tried to escape. The only time... No. She wasn't going to try again. At least not now, not when she was alone. Maybe some day... they could all try and escape - like the big dogs had done. But not now. Not today.

After Ghost had shared his theories about her behavior, he simply just sat down and began to write in what must have been her folder. He acted so calm, it made her sick. It took all of her will not to jump on the big man and tear his eyes out, but in the end she just cringed at him and turned to leave.
"Oh and one more thing Shadow. I'll be conducting all of your psychiatric evaluations, if another doctor tries to interview you simply wave your finger no. They'll understand what that means." Shadow stopped for a second, thought of what he had said and then almost flew out of the room, down the hallways and outside to the others. He'd definitely gained some respect from her. But she still hated him, she hated them all.

Outside people were gathered in one of the corners of the outside area. Apparently watching a fight or something. Shadow didn't care and headed the opposite direction. What was it with that Ghost guy? He'd called her scarred and afraid. Maybe that was true, but most of all she was just pissed off. She sat down at one of the only benches and rested her head on her knees. She was still angry, but had calmed down a bit. "If only I could just go back to robbing banks..." she mumbled and glanzed over at the crowd.

Warden Ghost made his way to the entrance of asylum where Doppleganger was just now being carried in. The guards were on their way to bringing Doppleganger to solitary when the warden phased through the crowd and Doppleganger and stood in their way. He held his hand out as a sign they should stop. The guards ceased movement and awaited the wardne's instructions.

Warden Ghost pointed to a cell in the general area that had only one bed and was separated from the entire block of cells. "But warden.." one of the guards began to argue. Warden Ghost pulled down his shades to give the guard an icy stare with his pale eyes. The guards carried Doppleganger to her cell and placed her on her bed.

The warden the walked outside to the area where all the patients were enjoying rec time. He stood by the door of the asylum looking at everyone. "Lunch.." the warden said in a soft tone, but mysteriously his voice seemed like a whisper in every inmates ear. He stood by the door waving everyone to come in. The warden put his hands behind his back as he took a glance at every patient that walked back into the asylum.

Dr. Hans who was not as brave as Ghost stayed in his office and got on the intercom. "Warden Ghost is pleased with your behavior in the yard, as a result all inmates have the option of eating their food in cafeteria or their cells." After Hans made the announcement he headed towards Dr. Milo's office. Hans had searched for Juggernaut and realized that he was scheduled for an psychiatric evaluation with Dr. Calhoun. Hans politely knocked on the door to where the evaluation was being held.

Warden Ghost made his way back into the asylum where he saw Hans in front of a door. He looked at Hans disappointingly and phased through the door. When he got through to the other side he saw Juggernaut and Dr. Calhoun. He gave a quick glance to the doctor with his shades on and then turned to the Juggernaut. This was the second tie he'd seen him and he was impressed by his sheer size.

Hans who saw that the warden had taken over things headed back to his office where a patient was scheduled for an evaluation. He knew Warden Ghost was disappointed in him for failing to get Juggernaut out before he arrived. Dr. Hans was familiar with failure with the Nazis and U.S Military science, he planned on making this his shinning moment. On his way he back he passed Alexei and Shadow, he gave Alexei a simple smile as he continued to make his way to his office. On his way there he grabbed a lunch tray from the cafeteria.

When he arrived he saw Brandon already waiting. "I do apologize for being late Mr. Robertson. Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Dr. Hans Klarheit. I'm new to the facility, you've probably heard my voice over the intercom earlier in the day." Hans began to say as he took his seat. He placed the lunch tray in front of Brandon. "It's now your lunch time, regardless of my evaluation patients must eat, so when you're finished we will begin if you're comfortable with that doctor." Dr Hans said as he pulled out a book from his desk and began reading.

Back in the area where Juggernaut and Dr. Calhoun were, the warden pointed to the guards and instructed them to leave. He took off his glasses and stared at Juggernaut in the eyes for a moment. Then he calmly placed them back on and touched the shackles around Juggernaut's legs. He phased the shackles off his legs and then did the same to the shackles around his wrists. Juggernaut was now free from being bound to the room. Ghost looked back at Dr. Calhoun. "My office, now" Ghost said in his mysterious voice that seemed like a whisper from close up even though he was standing away from the doctor. Ghost turned back to Juggernaut and motioned for him to follow as he began to walk to the cafeteria.

The doctor listened to Brandon was he tried to defend his innocence as he expected he would, it was reported after all. Dr. Hans then watched Brandon thrive in pain, he had also expected this to happen. Klarheit dealt with many patients in his time and he'd seen this before, less aggressive perhaps, but still similar transformation. Hans had purposely asked him the question hoping it would trigger his transformation. Whatever research Brandon was working on Depravity was somehow connected to it, this became evident to Hans.

"I do apologize for this doctor. It seems you're changing into this Depravity character, your pain should subside momentarily and you won't remember what happens in the upcoming minutes. Again I do apologize for this, it's all part of your treatment" Hans said with sincerity. He got not joy out of seeing his patients suffer. Hans calmly waited for Depravity with his hands folded on the desk. Inside of his pocket there was a small buzzer Hans could press that would alert Ghost when he was in danger, but Hans did not feel it was necessary at the moment. Hans wanted to see this man in person, there was no good record of a psychiatric evaluation of Brandon when he turned to Depravity, so he was going into unknown territory. Hans expected immediate violence from the prisoner, but he remained unnerved.
