Hui-gyeong

I'm living proof that being lucky is better than being smart

0 · 819 views · located in fantasy

a character in “Avalon's fall”, as played by rpannier

Description

Hui-gyeong is a 16 year old girl about 5'2" tall and just shy of a hundred pounds; she can easily be mistaken for someone a tad younger than she is. She is cute. Her skin is an almond color. Her eyes are brown, her mouth, ears and nose are small, but proportional and suitable to her size. She has long, straight black hair that hangs almost to her knees. She usually wears her hair in a pony tail or in twin tails (she carries pieces of twine to tie her hair with). Hui-gyeong is also thin.
Seeing her up close, she often looks tired/exhausted.
She comes from the lowest end of the society. She dresses in a dark tunic that covers half-way to her knees, though it appears a little small on her. It is old and somewhat worn. She wears high soft boots that come up to her knees, and like her tunic they are old looking as well. She travels mostly on foot, so it's not uncommon for her to look dirty and bedraggled.

(Will post an avatar when I find a good one)

Personality

Hui-gyeong is, to say the least, rather manic. By nature, she is a pleasant girl, who likes to have fun and enjoys seeing new things. She is inquisitive. By nurture, she is wary of others, this is due to her childhood. Hui-gyeong is self-absorbed in how she sees the world; she feels her misery is probably worse than most, she is self-conscious over whether she has offended others, she is cautious.
She is a survivor and is constantly in 'Survival Mode.' This causes her to be stressed a lot and contributes to her looking tired and sounding whiny.
When she meets someone for the first time she is often guarded, keeps a safe distance from the new person and her eyes constantly dart around the area making sure that everything is safe. She will be overly polite, figuring that by doing so she is less likely to raise suspicion or cause an issue with the other person.
Once she is comfortable in an environment, she is much more fun to be around and likes to try new things with the group and to learn more about each person; sometimes to the point of being annoyingly nosy.
While she is highly protective if her things, she is touchy when it comes to someone else's items. When she sees something she doesn't understand or she sees something new that interests her, her first response is to scout it and once she's decided it's safe, she touches and holds it to get a better appreciation of the item. This has lead to a misunderstanding or two with local merchants, who figure the girl has more sinister plans for the object.
When confronted by a dangerous or overwhelming situation, her response is to flee until the threat has gone.
She comes from an area where girls were not respected or wanted. A product of her upbringing, she believes she is 'a stupid girl' of no particular worth. In addition to her low self-esteem, she is somewhat self-pitying.

Equipment

She wears a dark tunic; the color could either be a fading black, dark blue or olive green. It's so old, it's hard to tell to anyone looking. Around her waist is a belt that hangs a pouch that she keeps the few coins she carries and a dagger. Around her neck she wears a bone white flat pendant with a lt blue stone in the middle attached to a string that she uses a necklace. The pendant is a gift from an old man she met on her travels. The pendant and stone, while interesting looking, are of little value to a fence.
She carries a pack on her back that she keeps an old blanket, another old, dark tunic, a bowl, a small cloth with a few valuable rocks wrapped in it and a pair of sticks that she eats with. The sticks are the only thing she owns of fine quality, made of crafted bone. (She never touches her food and she needs the sticks to be constantly clean even if she isn't).
In a small bag she has a few herbs that she uses for seasoning food.

History

Born into a very poor family in the remote northeastern province of Moondeok, Hui-gyeong had a very hard life as a girl; her life was made more difficult in that the people of Moondeok consider girls to be a net minus. She had three brothers who died before their second birthday. Her father was a horrid man, who treated her badly and her mother was also fairly useless, never once coming to defense of the beatings her daughter took.
Most of Moondeok is either mountainous or farmland, it has a half dozen cities, with it's largest being Saergahl, a border community where almost all trade with the outside world takes place. In Saergahl, almost anything is a commodity and at the age of thirteen, Hui-gyeong found herself a commodity. Her mother gave birth to another son and her father wanted money to assure his survival, so he took Hui-gyeong to Saergahl to see what he could get for her. He shopped her around to various men of ill-fame; slavers, brothel owners and others trying to see what he could fetch as a price for his oldest child.
He found a buyer, a well-dressed, older man missing an eye. He took an odd interest in Hui-gyeong; he seemed more interested in her "potential" than in her. He offered ten times the highest offer and the deal was done.
The man had her placed in a special cage on the back of a cart, with orders to never be allowed out of the cart for any reason until they got to the coast. While every other purchase was forced to walk the distance, she was the only one who rode. Along the trip Hui-gyeong got sick and the men let her out to clean the wagon and allow her to heal. As they waited a mist formed, eventually turning into a fog. The diversion allowed her to escape.
She ultimately sought refuge with an old man who also found her "interesting" and "of great potential." He fed her, cared for her when she was sick, gave her clothes and a bed of her own. He spent much of their time together just talking to her, teaching her how to recognize good plants from bad, how to heal her wounds, how to cook, etc. He also taught her to be wary of others, for evil is everywhere.
She lived there until she was half-way to fifteen and then he gave her a backpack, a knife, some clothes, a blanket and other items and told her it was time for her to move on and meet her destiny. Before she left, he gave her the pendant that she threaded into a cheap string necklace she wore around her neck and she was off.
A few times she was pursued by slavers (and others). She would often find some old hovel, a tree, a cave or ditch to hide in. Each escape was met with the mist forming, eventually becoming a thick fog that prevented the men from pursuing her any further. On one occasion a trio of slavers nearly caught her. She slipped in an open field as they closed in. Suddenly a wind appeared almost out of nowhere and picked up every stalk, every leaf, grain of sand and light rock and assaulted the men forcing them into retreat, half-blinding two of the men.
She was traveling through the mountains of Lanaton when the creatures struck Avalon. She is on a muddy road in Avalon.

Hui-gyeong is an elemental magic-user, her element is air (though she possesses a little water ability). Her magic right now is limited to the above mentioned and it's not particularly powerful (compared to accomplished wizards), but it is effective. Her magic is channeled through her emotions and affects her physically when she uses them:
The fog/mist is a protective spell and has no malicious intent to it, so after the event is over she is often left dazed and confused or giddy and silly.
The wind is an attack spell and comes from her deepest, darkest emotions. Her hatred for her father, her mother, the community, the slavers, anyone who has ever mistreated her is where this spell originates in her psyche. It is a negative magic that is destructive and it makes her light headed, confused and very sick; depending on the level of energy she expends it can incapacitate her for more than a couple of days.
In rare instances, the wind will surface to protect her, but will not cause damage to anyone or anything. While it is not a malicious, it's effects certainly are, because she still loses much of her energy and her headache is just as intense as if she were attacking someone or something.
She does not realize that she is the source of the magic and that she can cast it. Being fairly superstitious, she believes that she has a 'Messenger' that is protecting her and when he is forced to save her, punishes her with confusion or illness to remind her to be smarter.

So begins...

Kumiko moved along the road, she wasn't sure which way she was going. She lost track a few hours ago, as it was getting dark, when she ran into a forest to hide from those things that were flying over her. She finally left the forest when it was dark enough that she couldn't be seen - she hoped. She could see several fires in different directions. Fires at night were nothing new, but so many and so bright made her uneasy. She did her best to avoid them, but she came across one town that had been burning bright. When she got close she could see the entire town was ablaze. She watched for what seemed like an eternity, the flames, the dead bodies, the smell - all of it became carved in her memory. It was a sight she wouldn't forget.

In the distance she could see the high walls of a city. She was going to avoid it, until she saw the things moving away it. If they were going it must be safe to at least try and see what's there. She slowly moved toward the city gates. She could see a few people wandering around; a good sign, it meant that there were probably none of those things inside. Besides, if the people were distracted enough, she might be able to get in, pick up a few coins, some precious stones and small expensive art and duck out before anyone saw her. "If nothing else," she thought, "They won't pay much heed to her because they're too busy and they'll probably be on alert for those things. A girl wandering through town will mean little to them." she reasoned.

She was able to easily slip by the guards and soldiers that were checking bodies. She carefully slipped between three soldiers who were helping an injured soldier who was bleeding badly from an injured leg and a group of soldiers carefully putting the dead bodies of their friends on a big cart. Once inside, she stopped to survey the carnage inside the city. There were dead everywhere. The soldiers, the townspeople, those things. Once she adjusted to the sight, she made her way to the local tavern, if any place had money, it was the tavern. She quietly slipped inside the tavern, it was possible that there were others inside; people hiding from the creatures, a deserting soldier, a group of soldiers checking the area or some other thief with the same idea as her. She stood listening for any sound, waiting for her eyes to adjust. When they did, what she saw saddened her, but did not surprise her. None of these poor souls had a chance. The place looks as if they were attacked early in the fight; which made sense, a place with a lot of people, many soldiers, would be a good target. The stench of death was overpowering. She covered her face with a cloth to mask some of the smell and padded her way over to the bar. Good fortune had smiled upon her as she not only found a box full of coins (mostly copper, a few silver, one gold but coins still), but she also found a bottle of high end alcohol that would fetch a good price, or be soothing and warm her at night. She grabbed jewelry from the dead inside the bar, there wasn't much, two rings, a few earrings and a necklace. She wasn't sure how much they were worth, but she could appraise them later.

After the tavern she made her way toward the bakery. She wasn't trolling for money, just a few loaves of bread to eat. She found a few coins on the floor, again just copper, but money is money. She felt around behind the counter for any secret compartments, but found none. She grabbed five loaves and crept out and moved toward the gate.

"Hey you!" a voice called out from somewhere behind her. "What are you doing there?" the voice called.
Kumiko froze, "Damn it!" she hissed. She looked left-and-right, then decided running was the best idea. A looter would probably be killed on the spot, no branding, no ear cropping, just a sword across her throat.
Kumiko ran, and fast.
"Hey. Stop!" the man yelled.
"Yeah right!" she said to herself a small laugh inside of her. Stopping would only get her killed. She darted between buildings and came around a corner. In front of a building she saw a man just standing about three meters in front of a door. "Damn!" she whispered. She looked behind and could see the shadows of her pursuers. She looked back at the man, he seemed to be in shock or something similar. He hadn't seen her and the men behind her had.

She took a deep breath, swallowed hard and moved as quietly as possible towards the door. She made it all the way to the door, slowly pushed it open and slid inside. "Yes!" she whispered. She had made it. She turned to get a look at the room. Kumiko flinched when she saw a body on the bed and saw another one moving upstairs. "Damn it!" she muttered

Naddel goes to lie on the bed and sighs waiting patiently for something unexpected or expected to happen. Maybe Hui's getting better I haven't checked on her for hours, Perhaps I should do that in a bit, he thought to himself as he peered the room, although he was concerned the demon's will come out soon, he panicked as he looked out the window as he realized it was almost time for night and what he expected to come is probably worse considering some of the demon's know people came here, he prepped his sword, holding on to thought of minimum power coming from those things.

Naddel makes it down the stairs, "Something for protection would be fine, Except I leave with rusted chain mail!" he mummers to himself.
He continues his way down mummering faults of what he didn't bring to protect himself. Naddel goes down to wake up Hui, although he hears something, shocked he slowly get's curious on his final steps, he checks around for whatever made the noise, he went back to Hui to wake her up,
Naddel still is cautious of what made that noise so he check's around making sure nothing is sneaking around.

Hui-gyeong pulls back as Naddel disturbs her sleep. "Huh? Wha..? Oh, Thank the Gods it's you." she says startled, but also relieved that it's not an unfriendly or dangerous face.
Hui-gyeong watches him for a few moments, confused at his behavior. "Are you okay." she whispers. She figures out he's looking in the direction of the door. "What is it?" she whispers again staring towards the door, worried that there might be something there.
Hui-gyeong stares into the grey night with Naddel, hoping that there isn't anyone or anything there. The one thing she is sure of, it can't be one of those things. If it was, it would have attacked her while she slept. She wouldn't be sitting up looking with him, she'd be in a hundred pieces, blood spattered all over the bed and wall.
She thinks she sees something, or rather someone. The problem is, it's hard to tell; it isn't moving and it appears to be nothing more than shadow. She checks around the room to see what could be making the shadow, but she finds nothing that could make a shadow like that.

Kumiko hid between two broken cabinets hoping no one had seen her. "Damn it!" she whispered. She had been careless and was in a really bad spot, between the guards who were hunting her and the two people in the room who were both alive.

"This way!" the guard called out. She stood silently listening as the guard addressed the strange man that was outside. She couldn't hear the man talking, but the guards called him "Your highness."

"Great!" she muttered sarcastically, "A duke or a prince or something. Now I'm in big trouble." She thought about her life and how difficult it had been; losing her parents to crazy people, begging, stealing, and everything else she had done to stay alive. She stood for a second and listened, 'Silence.' There was not a sound from the outside. "The must have moved on." she whispered, a giant smile on her lips.

"Now, the other two." she thought. They had seen her, she needed to do something. "I could try and kill them." She smacked her head right after thinking that, "Right! Going from thief and looter to murderer. Dumb!" she decided to take a chance. Kumiko stepped out from the cabinets, but stayed in the shadows to keep them from getting a good look, "Hi." she called out, "My name is Kumiko." she stood for a second and got an idea, "I have some bread and drink if you want. If you let me stay here for a little while and rest I'll share with you."

The female sounding person talked about bread, although his stomach gladly would agree with the sweet sensation for yeast Although he honestly turned down her offers of food.
"Although it does sound really good I'd turn down your offers to give us anything, well me in that case"

"The soldier's provide some shelter, though they aren't much protection against the demon's"
Naddel didn't think about opening his arms willingly to strangers, with no question's against Her and where she was from, hell how did she even get in here, panicking he's slightly cautious around her giving her a very informative I don't trust you that much, just to be safe.

Hui-gyeong pulls back towards the wall when the girl starts speaking. She sounds younger than her, but she can't tell for sure if she really is younger, or if the room is creating an odd echo. The man's wariness also adds to Hui-gyeong's unease. "Just because she's the only one talking doesn't mean that she's alone." she thinks. "What if someone else is with her?" This kind of worry is never good for her; this kind of worry is usually followed by a rising mist and/or rising fog. But rather than either, the only thing she gets is her headache rising and her energy level dropping. While emotionally she's strong enough to create the winds and fog, physically she's too exhausted from the fight, the demon she met earlier in the woods, the demon she got smacked by at the castle and all the magic she has subconsciously used. Hui-gyeong slides up against the wall to steady herself, debating whether or not to say anything.
She has offered food and drink and Hui-gyeong is hungry. She could be a help to the two of them -- strength in numbers. But, she could also be an assassin or criminal. If either of her worries are true, her being a thief is more likely. The odds of whoever is on the other end of that voice being an assassin seems to bizarre to be believed. Bus, she has seen some really strange things today, so anything is possible.
Finally she decides to say nothing and wait to see what the female in the shadows has to say.

Kumiko unsheathed her sword as quietly as she could in the darkness of the shadows. She then slid it between some broken boards in the floor to conceal all but the hilt from sight. Then she carefully stepped out from the shadows just enough to be seen, her hands in the air, the bag of bread in one. the bottle in the other, ready in case one of them has a bow or crossbow she hadn't noticed and was planning to take a shot at her. She's quick enough and far enough away that she could probably get out of the way. She may be lying to herself, but better in here than out there. "Look, I only have these two daggers. I'll leave them here on this table if you want." she lied, not making any sudden moves that would spook them.

She watched for any signs of a third person she missed or a sudden move by either of them, "Here. Here is the food. I just need a place to stay for the night. It's crazy out there and I'm... I'm afraid." that wasn't a lie. "I'm tired and I need a place to hide out from... from what's out there. I know you have no reason to trust me, but I have no reason to trust you either. I know this is your place. I'm just asking for a few hours. I'll even set up somewhere away from you." her voice got more desperate as she spoke to the point, that by the time she was done talking her voice cracked. "Please! I don't wanna go out there. Not with those things out there." she begged, "Please." she strained.

"Alright, I guess" Naddel replies back to her, "I'll be right back, I guess" Naddel runs out the door he runs toward looking for something he forgot a while back, and he remembered, his horse Mary was missing, Naddel searches around glancing every corner that he could possible, trying to call her, still no luck, he goes toward the gate whistling a tune he always did to call his Horse, then he notices something, out of the corner of his eye, "Oh No!" Mary lays dead on the ground ripped to pieces by something, a demon, most likely.

He sighs frustrated, looking up shocked, he's spent so much time outside, that it's night time, "I don't have much time I gotta run!" Naddel running towards the Three story house in fear, he felt a pain across his back and he fell over rolling on his back, blood came out severely fast, the demon came closer, pushing himself upward, pulling his sword out, he points it at the demon, pulling his chest in and charging toward the demon but getting clawed against the arm and pushed forward to the house in which he spent his day in, ironically against the door.

Kumiko watched with confusion and curiosity as the boy raced out the door. He didn't seem to trust her, "Why is he leaving me with his girlfriend?" she wondered. Kumiko turned her attention toward the girl sitting on the bed, "Hi, I'm Kumiko. And I have food and drink if you want. If you don't, well...that's okay cuz I'm hungry."
Kumiko brushed the dirt and grime from a table as best she could and then covered it with a shirt from her pack. Laying the food on the shirt she smiled at the other girl. "You can have some too." she said taking one of her daggers and cutting the bread. She popped a piece in her mouth, "Mmmmm. It's really good. Come on, try some." she tried coaxing the girl as she took a swig of the alcohol. The alcohol rushed straight to her brain, Kumiko let out a quick yell, "Oh my fu...God that's strong! Wow!" she yelled.
She was about to take another swig when she heard a loud thud on the door.

Hui-gyeong watches baffled as the blue-eyed man exits the building. "What is he doing?" she wonders, As confused as she is about his behavior and wanting to know why he is acting so strangely, she quickly focuses on the girl. She may or may not be a threat and she is wary of her.

"Hi, I'm Kumiko. And I have food and drink if you want. If you don't, well...that's okay cuz I'm hungry."
"Well she's abrupt." Hui-gyeong surmises. Hui-gyeong is hungry but not enough to let her guard down. She obviously survived the attack; But How? She's not very big, she doesn't seem to be a fighter and she doesn't appear to be that bright.
Hui-gyeong watches closely as the girl takes out a dagger and cuts the bread, then eating it. "It seems safe." she thinks. But, Hui-gyeong has seen sleight of hand before and dropping her guard to get food could get her killed.
"Mmmmm. It's really good. Come on, try some." the girl insists. Hui-gyeong isn't sure if she's just that friendly or that cagey. She smiles and lets out a small breathy laugh as the girl writhes after swallowing some of the alcohol she has.

Finally, Hui-gyeong decides to take some of the bread. After-all, if she was an assassin, she'd have struck by now. As she slides forward, she hears a loud thud on the door as if someone either ran into the door or was thrown into it. Neither of those possibilities being very positive.

Pushing himself upward, while seeing the demon come closer, he tries to limp away, the demon's pace stayed the same as if it were confident. Although it seems like the demon had vanished, he knew it was somewhere watching him for some reason, he continues to look for it but in his attempts fails with his struggles.

Kumiko watched, a piece of bread against her lips, curious as Naddell staggered into the building. "Are you okay?" she asked nervously. "Wha... what happened?" she called. He says nothing. She continued watching as he climbed the stairs disappearing into the floor above. Kumiko lowered the bottle and the piece of bread and began sliding toward her sword. Whatever happened to him, it wasn't good and it may still be out there.
"Uhhh..." she says to the other girl nervously, sliding toward her sword hidden in the rubble. "I'm gonna... I'm gonna get something I think we need." she slowly crouched reaching for the hilt of the blade. "I have a... a sword. It's not big and I won't hurt you. But... I think we may need it." She kept a close vigil on the other girl seeing what her reactions are, "Look, I know I said I only had the daggers. But, I needed to be sure you guys were... well safe." she continued, raising up with the sword, showing it to Hui-gyeong. "It's not very big. I mean, look, I had..." she finally exhaled in frustration, "Okay. Truth. I got to the town after those things had left. At least I think they left. I found some bread and alcohol. I took it. Okay?" she confessed, a tinge of irritation in her voice. "So, these men were chasing me. I don't know if they're city watch or bandits or with those monsters. I promise, I won't hurt either of you. I just needed a place to hide out."
Kumiko walked toward the door as she spoke. When she reached the door she listened carefully. She heard nothing, not the men, not those creatures, nothing. She slowly opened the door a crack and peered out. Everyone was gone, including the strange man that was keeping watch just outside the building.
"It's clear." she says relieved

Hui-gyeong rises to her feet when Naddel staggers into the building. He says nothing as he starts up towards the upper floor, ignoring the question from the new girl. She watches the girl carefully as she moves toward her original location, crouching down to get something, then rising and showing a sword that she had hidden in the debris. As the girl confesses to everything that she has done Hui-gyeong begins to feel scared.
As her worry grows, the mists from the fog from her panic begin to rise. Creeping up through the cracks between the floorboards, the vapor rises slowly. By the time the girl peers out the door the fog has risen to her ankles and is spreading out in a thick billowy soup obscuring the floor their feet rest on as if they were standing in a marsh.

Kumiko quietly closed and locked the door, the color returned to her face. "That was weird." she said taking a couple of deep breaths. "I was afraid...something...weird..." her speech slowed as she could feel the cold of the fog billowing around her ankles. She looked down for several seconds, observing the rising fog around the room. "Uhhh... yeah." she exhaled again worried at the site of the growing fog. "So, this is you, right?" Kumiko asked hopefully worried that something new was happening.
Not waiting for a reply, she quickly climbed up on a table, not concerned about whether it might break. "Please tell me this is you. Cuz if it isn't, you should probably climb up on that bed there so you don't get your legs ripped off."

As she waits for the girl to do something or say something, a loud thud smacked the door to the building they're in cracking the wood at the center, but not breaking it. "Oh, great!" Kumiko moans, "This is not good." She looked over at the girl and then up at the loft where the boy went. "Hey!" she whispered as loudly as she dared. "You...guy...boy...whatever. You wanna get down here!"

This is definitely not what Kumiko planned for. There hasn't been a second smack against the door, but the fog was rising quicker, covering much of the floor and nearly at the top of the table. If there is something down there, hiding in that white soup, it's got the advantage and Kumiko isn't waiting for it to seize it.
Kumiko kicks the bread off the table as she jumps to a a large wooden crate nearby. She is able to just get hold of it, but as she does, the door is struck again this time splintering into pieces of wood and slivers.

Hui-gyeong shakes her slightly when the girl asks if the fog is her, then she shakes her head. "Sort of. I think I have a..." is as far as she gets when something hits the door with a solid 'thud.' Hui-gyeong, startled by the sound, lets out a small screech and, at Kumiko's suggestion, leaps back onto the cot she's been sleeping on.
Hear worry has rapidly turned into fear and now terror. The fog thickens more, especially around the door and her. As it does, the wind also begins to grow from an area near the door. The girl yells something, but she really can't make out what she is yelling. The fear is welling up greater inside her. It's making her heart beat faster, her blood rush more quickly, her nerves flash faster and her brain is on virtual overload from the days events pouring into her head, causing her to imagine the worst possible things that may be out there right now.
Hui-gyeong begins running her fingers through her hair, entangling them in her long black hair. She grabs hold of her hair tightly and then presses her fingers against her head. The sorry, the fear, the demons all panicking her. The wind, feeding off her fear, growing in size and rage around the door, swirls faster and more menacingly, picking up loose slivers of wood, nails, dust, dirt, shards of brick and glass until it is a dark swirling menace itself, awaiting orders from it's frightened mistress.

The second strike against the door, shatters the door completely sending pieces of wood everywhere. Through the door and into the wall near Hui-gyeong, flies the body of a man, beaten, torn, limbs ripped from the torso, the body that lands has part of it's skull, no arms and one leg still attached to the body. Into the doorway steps one of those creatures, covered in blood, most likely from the savaged man that it hurled in through the door to announce it's presence. It knew that building was occupied, it just didn't know by how many or their skills. That it was about to test and learn.

The creature is struck numb for a moment as it takes stock of the violent wind that has formed on the other side of the now dissected door. It hadn't gambled on there being magic in use and it stands struck dumb by the sudden realization that it may be the hunted, rather than the hunter.
The fear inside Hui-gyeong, the emotions coursing on every bloodlet in her body has become too much for her too handle. She releases a horrid shriek and as she does, the wind explodes straight into the demon, depositing every sliver, nail, shard of stone, metal, etal into the surprised creature. The fury of the wind's assault knocking the creature backward with an overwhelming force, filling it's eyes, it's face, it's torso with hundreds, if not thousands of little pieces of death.

The creature lay barely moving, injured but not dead, not even close. It's incapacitated however and it's not just temporary. The little shards have hit their target - the creatures eyes. It's blinded and screaming in pain. It's not dead, but it certainly has the possibility of alerting others of it's kind as to its location.
Hui-gyeong, wiped out by the emotional drain, drops onto her knees on the bed and then flops onto the floor exhausted and unconscious. With her energy sapped, the fog joins her on the floor and like it's compatriot, the wind and it's mistress loses it's energy and dies out.

You would not believe how f*cked up this was. I tried posting and it timed out. It timed out multiple times and then showed my posts had failed to come up. So, then suddenly all my attempts were there.
God! That pisses me off
That's why there are so many empty slots
