(*blinks*)(Wait, i knew we were in the northern sea, but the fact that you could see it from Ba Sing Se means it cant be that far north, and im pretty sure only Sarnura would be making the ice. So you shouldn't know about it. The town my Charrie came from had both earth and water benders. Not all water benders live near ice, think of the swamp guys for instance. Just wanted to make that clear)

Sarnura was thrown, carried, and somewhat confused (as well as her maker while reading said post) on what just happened. I don't know, i just had to leave my town an hour ago because the fire nation attacked and destroyed it" She answered, Lepu returning to her shoulder. She also noted "And also your the Avatar right? Just making sure. As well as noting we should probably run!" she told her, pointing out the fire nation ship approaching. As She started to head in the other direction, she noticed that fire benders were coming out of the forest. They were surrounded. One of them said "Hey its the Avatar! Kill her!". Sarnura made an ice wall around them all, to protect them as they attacked. "You have any ideas?" she asked her.

Ama nodded " Yeah I am the Avatar and i'm sorry about your town but..why would the Fire Nation attack you or your town? " Ama asked still confused. At the moment..all seemed losted. but then Ama got a idea. " Klia! " Ama called as a huge Sky Bison. came crashing through the ice and landing in front of the too. Klia roared and the fire benders slowly backed up. MAam grinned and grabbed Sarnura's wrist pulling her along " Common! Klia can fly!! " She jumped up on top of Klia's head as Sarnura climbed onto his back. " hold on! " Ama called to Sarnura as they took off high into the air away from the Fire Nation ships.

Sarnura held on...very very hard....VERY very hard. This was her 1st time flying. SHe had seen other air benders fly before when they passed by, but she had never actually flown herself. She help onto Klia, who she had almost called Apa from the tales of another avatar, Aang, that she had heard of. As soon as she felt safe in the air, she asked "I don't know Why (This shall develop into a reason at some point...maybe....), but where do you think we should go? Ba Sing Se is not far from here, and At this speed, we could be at the...." Sarnura was cut off when a fire nation airship came up above the clouds behind them. "THE FIRE NATION HAVE AIRSHIPS TOO?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?" she yelled, never actually knowing that. They started to fire at them. "Cant we get a moment of peace!?!?!" she noted. Lepu jumped back onto his spot on Sarnura's shoulder.

Kaia walked along the road, they were getting very close to the border. She looked up at the sky, she thought she heard something. She squinted and could see six paws that seemed to come from the clouds. She looked more closely and could see a large head with horns peer from the sky. "Is that? No way... Is that a Sky Bison?!" she exclaimed, pointing to the sky. She could see a metal airship travelling close behind it. "Hey! B.B! That Sky Bison is being chased by the Fire Nation!" She ran a bit, so that she could get a better look at it. They are getting close to the city... Ba Sing Se is still rebuilding.. I gotta stop them. "B.B, help me out here, that Sky Bison is getting close to the city, and with the Fire Nation firing at it, Ba Sing Se could get caught in the crossfire." Kaia brought her arms upwards, pulling numerous stones the size of basketballs out from the ground. She leaned back at made a throwing motion, up to the sky, and the large stones flew up to the airship. She didn't know if it would do any good, let alone reach the airship. She watched the stones fly, but many could not defy gravity. Four of them did hit the airship, two hitting the large window at the front, and two hitting the two firebenders who shot fireballs at the bison.

Ama sighed. " Stay here! " She said jumped jumped off Kila and onto the ship right through the glass. It took about 20 minuites but then the ship slowed and Ama was jumping back onto Kila. as Ama jumped back onto Kila,Kila got hit by some fire and went crashing down. Ama gasped they were gonna crash!1 as they fell Ama lost grip of Kila and slipped away from him and Sarnura who was holding on for dear life. at firest. her mind was blank as she got closer and closer to the ground spinning and flipping at high speeds as the harsh wind hit her. Then a idea flashed into her mind. spinnging to were her back was to the ground Ama grabbed what looked like a long wood stick. then it was turned into a purple looking glidder. she held onto the handls and went back up to where Sarnura was. " grab my feet! " she yelled at the girl did so. she then swooped away from kila and got closer to the ground till they were in front of Kaia. Ama let Sarnura drop to the ground.

(Um, insert all that and some screaming. Sorry, i dont have time for a detailed post. Il try to get one up tommorrow, but here is something.)

Sarnura saw some earth benders, as well as aproching fire benders. "Quick, help!" she yelled.

Kai easily heard some of what was going on, but he really couldn't get any specifics from just sound...he could tell there was fighting and all, but he could not tell who was fighting who or what kind of benders were fighting.

Kaia watched in awe as she watched two girls hop down from the glider that had carried them down safely from high up in the air. She shook her head, as she was distracted by them, fire benders were approaching time to get cracking. Kaia got in a low stance, her knees bent, she was very close to the ground, almost as if she were sitting. She felt more connected to the Earth that way, she hated going bare feet, like some earthbenders did, to be more connected with the Earth. Kaia used her very low stances as an alternative. She slammed her foot into the ground and the Earth shook violently, but she had targeted it more towards the firebenders. While they were trying to regain balance, she shifted her foot to the right and a numerous small columns protruded from the ground in front of the firebenders, making them fly back and land painfully into the ground.

((All my Fire Nation buddies left. D: Currently waiting for Raiden to post so I can continue with Xie. ))

(well, i got a little idea of mine on WHY the fire nation want her dead so badly. They tested a new war machine they don't want others to know about yet on her town, so they are trying to kill her, as she is the only one that can describe what it did perfectly to them. Oh, im also thinking of having her have an older sister who is a fire bender and is the one trying to capture her O.O)

Sarnura got back on her feet. Fire Nation tanks and 2 airships were on them. This was an unusual amount to be here so fast. They couldn't have all come to get the avatar already....but what else could they be coming for. Sarnura started fighting the approaching fire benders. However, one of them riding a fast creature rode up so fast none of them realized she was there before it was too late. She jumped behind Sarnura, grabbing her and holding a knife to her neck. "Try to fight, and i kill her" she told them. Sarnura looked at her instantly. "OSI!" she screamed, trying to break free...kind of. "Ha ha, you think you can beat me younger sister.....you, and the avatar, are coming with us" she told them all, as more fire nation surrounded them. (oh hell no, we are not getting caught this soon) Sarnura was very mad all of the sudden..... (Warning: Substitute for avatar state detected: Sarnura's pure rage). She did...something, that caused her to do a flip and away from her sister. She formed the water around her into a perfect ice sword (as in, its completely smooth, sharp, and stuff. She has a specialty with ice). She also did a very unusual move that caused a huge amount of ice spikes to come out of the ground itself (via underwater rivers and streams and stuff) and at her sister and the fire benders. Ice spikes also flew out of the ground and "grounded" the airships. she launched a variety of attacks on her sister while everyone else was busy with the rest.

Xie's lidded eyes narrowed into the distance. He was glad to see smoke rising from nearby buildings, his soldiers were doing a good job at causing ruckus in one of the water villages—working on annihilating them. He motioned for his brother and Raiden to follow along with him, and grabbed the railing to swing himself over. Landing on the snowy ground, he grunted before surveying his work. To his surprise, large spikes made of ice shot up and caused some of their airships to crash in the distance. From where he was standing, the Prince couldn't see who was the cause of the destruction, so he smiled wryly and motioned one of his soldiers over. A soldier reigned in a war-painted mongoose dragon, struggling to pull it towards him before handing over its reins. Muttering his thanks, Xie stepped into the stirrup and swung his leg over the saddle.

“Forward! We go to capture the Avatar!” The Prince shouted over his shoulder, kicking at his mounts flanks to urge it forward. Wherever the waterbenders were, surely the Avatar was. He would find the Avatar and return it to his father—to cement the truth between them, so that he could take matters into his own hands. Pushing forward, as he rounded the bend where most of the fighting took place, his bright eyes scanned over the wreckage to catch sight of anything interesting. Anything that would lead him towards the Avatar, an excitement already running through his body. Never had he had a challenge in combat, and perhaps now, before returning to his homeland, he would have a chance. He smirked, catching sight of two women fighting—one he recognized as Osi, one of the firebending soldiers who worked directly underneath his father, and a mysterious waterbender who was the source of the destructive ice. Reigning his mongoose dragon in circles, he cupped his hand to his mouth.
“We take no prisoners, Osi,” Xie shouted, swinging down from the saddle and shaking the reins to send his steed away.

Moving towards the centre of the fighting, Xie's eyes reflected the fire which burned the buildings and danced from the firebenders fists. The sight itself... was beautiful, if it hadn't been so destructive. His dark eyes caught sight of two girls, standing behind the waterbender and he strode towards them, before stopping a healthy distance away. “Where is the Avatar?” He demanded, sliding his foot back into a offensive position, ready to strike.

(So, tell me, who wants to make Sarnura mad now?)(lol, she fights best with pure rage. However, only the presence of her sister and very very few other things can actually bring this out. Another would be the death/suffering/threat of danger/capture to a loved one or good friend)

Osi looked back at Xie. "despite what iv said, they want to confirm she was the one that saw it with all of our fire nation troops there. Apparently its some whole confirmation thing. Myself, i think it is stupid. But the avatar, he is all yours. Brat is mine. They are both high priority targets, designated by the fire lord himself" she told him, launching a fireball at Sarnura.....

Sarnura caused a giant ice spike to come out of the ground itself under them. She sent another one spinning at Xie. (Oh no........i recommend a full scale retreat now for the fire nation) Some gray clouds drifted above them, and it started to rain. (RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! ITS SARNURA'S RAGE COMBINED WITH WATER EVERYWHERE! UNLIMITED WATER!) Osi began to fire fire into the sky as giant shards of ice began to rain over the fire nation troops. A full scale battle quickly turned into a few fire nation people, including Xie and Osi, remaining.

Osi looked at Xie. "I suggest a full scale retreat. We cant win with these odds now, not with my sister like this" she told Xie, jumping back on her creature and riding off.

(Yeah........Now you know why not to piss Sarnura off....however, someone still needs to go calm her down, preferably before she accidentally destroys Ba Sing Se O.O)

Kaia looked at the approaching Fire Nation tanks, "Jeez! Did they bring all of the Fire Nation?" she asked as she continued to fight the firebenders. She looked as one of the girls who came from the sky had a knife up to her neck by a firebender. Her sister is of the Fire Nation? She jumped back as Sarnura became very intense in her bending. Kaia was amazed at the power she had. She was so distracted by Sarnura seeming to pull water from nowhere, that she felt something very hot coming from behind her. She looked to see a firebender, ready to strike again, but as soon as she laid eyes on him, the firebender was trembling. "Idiot." She stomped her foot to the ground and kicked the rock toawrd him so fast that he couldn't even react.

A man riding on a mongoose dragon caught her eyes, he looked familiar. As he came off of the animal, she recognized him. What is the Prince of the Fire Nation doing here? Kaia thought. This just looked like a random battle, why would the Xie be here? As he came closer her body tensed, she looked at him in confusion, the Avatar? The Avatar is here? No wonder Xie came, this is way more serious then Kaia thought. She looked at the boy, realizing that she must look really stupid, she figured she could use it to her advantage. "Avatar? What's that? What are you talking about?" she wanted to laugh, acting stupid was very satisfying, but she managed to hide her smile.

She looked at the sky, rain clouds. That waterbender really has the advantage now. She watched as the water quickly changed to ice, easily taking out the firebenders. She smiled as she saw Sarnura's sister was frantically trying to protect herself. Her smile widened as they talked of retreat.

Xie's lips drew back in a familiar cocky smirk, golden eyes reflecting the sheen in the ice jetting towards Osi from the supposed “brat,” Whoever she was, she was somehow connected to Osi, but he didn't care—it wasn't his problem. He was only here for the Avatar, to return him home as forcefully as he needed to, to gain his fathers truth. Approval only played a small part in his own personal vendetta, everything else played as pawns on his chess board. His eyes caught drew away from the three girls, and he deflected water with his own pale blue-white flames; easing his hands back to punch his flames from his white-knuckled fists, slamming them forward with focused force.
“Take as many as we need to prove it, I don't care,” was the only snarled response, as the Prince lashed out his fists to meet the ice spike barrelling towards him. Most of it melted, but he dashed out of the way to see the small hand-sized icicle embed itself in the ground behind him. Underestimating that waterbender would prove to be unwise, he clenched his jaw together and eyed Osi, who suggested a full scale retreat.

“Retreat?” The Prince growled, a deep sound rasping from his throat. Whistling between his fingers for the remaining fire benders to retreat back to the ships, he remained. He'd just arrived and no challenge had arisen, he hadn't found the Avatar and he would be leaving empty-handed. Brushing his fingers through his raven hair, he scowled, warding off another gush of water with his own fiery flames. Only one of the girls seemed to find it in her to respond, the one wielding bright green eyes and the ability to earth bend. Xie held his hands up defensively, ready to defend himself if need be and advanced a few feet closer to the gathered girls. Sidestepping away from Sarnura's wrath, he avoided falling ice and tried to corner the other two girls standing behind her. They knew something, he knew that they did.

“Don't play stupid with me, girl,” Xie said between his teeth, eyeing Kaia, the curved sword swaying at his hip invited his hand but he ignored the urge. Eventually, the Prince would have to retreat. It was the only logical response to being outnumbered, they knew what they were up against and next time, the carnage would be doubled. Already, from the corner of his eyes, he could see buildings crumbling while flames licked the air. He could hear women screaming, clutching their child's hands—even they were at the mercy of the ice and flames. If he did not retreat, he knew Raiden would come force him. The Prince's stubbornness kept him from turning tail with the rest of his soldiers, the stubbornness pushed his want to battle the water bender. “I'll have to thank your little water bender later.”

Whistling once more, the mongoose dragon he'd been riding hesitantly trotted towards him, nearly being struck down from the carnage which rained down from the skies. Whence the creature was next to him, Xie twirled in a circle and rose a wall of fire, heating the area he stood in; blocking the three from getting any closer, but allowing him an escape route. The Prince swung himself onto the saddle and eyed the three girls, turning his mount in circles as he growled orders towards the remaining fire benders. Most of them, not counting the dead on the ground, had already boarded the ship--and awaited him.
"Tell me, where is the Avatar?" Xie boomed, manipulating the flames so that they would not penetrate the ring he'd created. He couldn't keep it up for long, and already the flames licked uncontrollably, his focus wavering, "The next village we come to, you may not be there. And we will continue this." Such violence was regretful, but to finish his personal mission, it was necessary.

((EDIT: Person-sized or normal-sized, I'm not going to have Xie be impaled the third post, anyway. D: It wouldn't be interesting if every time the firebenders showed up, massive ice storms from the heavens made them run away. Well, their running away now, but I'll probably have Xie retreat the next post. Sarnu is a master water/ice bender, and Xie is a master fire bender. Not that he's perfect, and he'll probably be hurt in the future, but he should be able to defend himself against some of the people-sized icicles. ))

(ummm, i dont think you understood, they were not "normal" sized ice shards....they were PERSON SIZED...or larger....)

"Sir, I recommend leaving now peacefully while you can still leave..." said Kai as he walked forward toward the Fire Prince, "We don't know who the Avatar is, so before you damn your whole army I would leave now...Do you know who I am...?" he finished calmly having not raised a single finger to attack as of yet in order to prevent unneeded death, at the moment that would be in his and the Avatar's disadvantage.

Raiden watched from the ship, his face expressionless as the battle ensued. The Prince had entered battle, along with most of the other soldiers. This left Raiden, alone to devise a plan. The Prince might not win this fight. If he retreats I will be forced to report it to his father. Raiden raised his hand to the sky, sending a cyclone of fire that destroyed every shard heading for the ship. He took slow precise steps out of the ship, making his way to behind the Prince and his mongoose dragon. "My Lord, I suggest you return to the ship. An unusual set of circumstances has turned the the battle in their favor."

(Seriously, everyone seems to have gone off the map since the fighting started. If we're not going to stick in the realm of what is and isn't possible in Avatar, please tell me now so I can duck out.)

Kaia looked at Xie as he caught on to her act, he wasn't dumb she'd give him that. She really wanted to punch him in the face, she never allowed anyone to speak to her like that. "Ya. Like you can tell me what to do." she spat back. She watched the Prince closely as he approached them, her body tensed, waiting for a moment to strike. She saw one not too soon after he stopped, but Kaia found herself having to protect herself for the gigantic ice chards that feel from the sky. She had forgot about them, she only remembered when one had landed inches away from her right side. She stomped her foot and created two walls of stone that come together at a 60° angle, it covered her sides and head, but leaving the back and front open, It was similar in shape to a tent. Kaia eyed him as he talked of the waterbender, he didn't want to fight Sarnura now, which means he was thinking of retreating, plus he didn't attack Kaia yet, so that made that outcome more likely.

Kaia looked at the mongoose dragon, as it came to the Prince at his call, she thought that animal had no mind of its own if it would walk through the gigantic "hail" just to obey their masters' every beck and call. Kaia distanced herself when the wall of fire came up around Xie, her little tent following her. She stayed silent as he asked again of the Avatar.

She heard Kai's voice, and darted her glance between him and Xie. The Prince wasn't getting a lot of options, and he was being pushed more and more to leave. She then noticed someone beside Xie. He was telling the Prince to retreat as well. Kaia thought she should just blurt something out, just because she didn't like being silent. "Yes. You should leave. You don't have a chance against us." she looked at the waterbender, at least not now they didn't. Not with Sarnura being so enraged, they would have to calm her down soon, her destruction was reaching innocent people.

Xie's mouth worked, jaw muscles flexing before he tilted his head. “Your just a pawn,” The Prince seethed, eyes raising to see the destruction that the masses of ice were causing Ba Sing Se. If they didn't stop the little water bender, they'd have killed just as many as the Fire Nation did. The thought was satisfying, as if they had their own double-edged sword in play, and he couldn't help but smile. Although he wasn't one to enjoy lost lives, the small amount of Fire Naton pride that swelled in his heart was difficult to subdue and he found himself surveying the damage. Kaia seemed a formidable foe, creating a wall of stone to protect herself from her friends' rampage. “Leave peacefully?” He nearly laughed in outrage, gripping the leather reigns in his hand. “You've done as much damage as I have, and I thank you for that. Its' part of a bigger picture that you don't see. This.” The Prince extended his hands, flames conjuring in his palms. “Is what's needed. And I don't care who you are.” Before he had the chance to attack, his attention drew elsewhere and he extinguished the flames by closing his fists.

The raven-haired boy in Fire Nation garbs stared hard at Kaia, before he smiled coyly. Youngs pups who understood nothing of war, nothing of alternate plans, nothing of his own vendetta. He had to step on others to stop his father, and if that was the path he had to take to the top—he would do it.
“Not a chance?” Xie mouthed, frowning suddenly, “I haven't been giving the opportunity.”

The Prince's shoulders tensed as he reigned his mongoose dragon backwards, towards the small opening in the fire wall. Options were slim. His golden eyes caught sight of the mighty cyclone of flames licking into the sky and melting the incoming pillars of ice, protecting the ships which awaited him. He knew full well the abilities of Raiden, and did not understand why he disliked fighting—why he would not want to be standing beside him. With his adviser standing by his side, they would have a chance of winning. Retreating would have never been an option, but as he stood with all of his captains and soldiers retreating, staying would only prove to be foolish. Upon hearing Raiden's voice, he looked down at him, then scowled. As always, he was right. “Back to the ship, then,” were the only words he could manage to hiss, holding out his calloused hand to let Raiden swing up on the mount as well. They would push off the forsaken, smouldering land and discuss what they would do next.

Sarnura began to collapse. She couldnt keep it up. She fell to the ground out of exaugtion, however, as she did so, it started to snow. The Ice sword on her arm melted away. She could barely stay awak. Lepu climbed on her shoulder. The Lemur looked at them all, and it looked like it was asking them to help her.....

Osi looked at the ravage of what ust to be a small army. "Il be back sister.....and next time, i promise I wont let you win....." she noted, and when Osi makes a promise.....she keeps it...... (DUN DUN DU) (sorry, don't know what to post right now)

Kaia watched as the small Fire Nation army left - or at least what was left of them. She looked up at the sky as the large pieces of ice stopped falling from the sky, and snow replaced it. "Hm. Snow in Ba Sing Se. Who would have thought..." she laughed and touched the snowflakes as they fell like a child seeing snow for the first time. She stopped and remembered the waterbender who made pretty much won this battle for them. She ran over to the girl and knelt down beside her. "Hey. Are you OK? Come on.... Wakey-wakey.. Eggs and bakey..." She propped Sarnura up so she was sitting.

Sarnura looked up, barely managing to keep her eyes open. Of course they were not near any convenient Ba Sing Se entrance at the moment, although there was a small town supposedly nearby, about 1-2 miles to the north. Sarnura looked at Kaia and asked "They are gone right?", also then noting/asking "Thank you, but i never got your name". Lepu fed her a berry he found, and it seemed to give her a little more energy. But she was still pretty exhausted.

(I would like to make a note now Sarnura is better at bending ice then water, and she is good at making ice. but don't you dare doubt her regular water skills!)

Kaia looked around, the small army had finally left, they were safe for now. She looked back at Sarnura, "Yeah, they're gone. Oh sorry, my name's Kaia." She could tell that Sarnura was exhausted, she was breathing heavily, and she was struggling to keep her eyes open. She looked at the environment; once a plain, barren place, was now covered with large ice blocks. Kaia laughed, "Thanks for redecorating, the white from the ice and snow really makes this place look more colorful." She looked back at the girl, "So who are you? And how did you get here? Were you by any chance on the Sky Bison?"

Sarnura held her head. She now had an annoying head ache. She looked at Kaia and said "Good, no one got hurt right?" she asked. She could barely move. She had used too much power, in fact, she used almost all her energy. She looked to Ama, making sure she was ok. She then told Kaia "Where is the nearest town? Or is there any Convenient entrance into Ba Sing Se?" she asked Kaia. Sarnura could access great power, but she didn't have near enough energy to sustain it for more then 10 minuets. She then told Kaia "Well im sure this place needs more snow then it will ever get" she said, forcing a smile. She remembered her best friend Ekile, a earth bender. However, she could not find him when her town was attacked. For all she knows he is dead. Sarnura then noted "My name is Sarnura, my town is nearby, but it was attacked by the fire nation, and yes yes i was" she told her, then noting Ama "and she is an air bender, and The Avatar".

(now all we need is for Emily to return!)

Kaia looked around, "No one but the firebenders..." she smiled. "Well.. I don't think Ba Sing Se will do any good. Not after that big hail storm thing you did..." she said,noting Sarnura's destructive power. "But I think there is a small village around here somewhere..... Um......" Kaia stood up straining to see if she could see any houses or buildings nearby. She squinted and could make out a silhouette of a five or six small roofs in the distance. "Oh! Found one." She looked back at Sarnura seeing her smile made Kaia smile, "Yeah. This place is pretty boring. That's pretty much why I left Ba Sing Se." Kaia loved adventure, being trapped in a gigantic city where you can't do anything fun was torture for her. "Well it's nice to meet you Sarnura. You sure did help a lot with that Fire Nation army." She froze and looked at Sarnura, "The Avatar? NO WAY! ARE YOU SERIOUS! OH MY GOD, THAT IS SO COOL!!!!!" Kaia was jumping for joy, finding the Avatar was way easier than she thought. She stopped suddenly and her cheeks turned a bright red, "Oh. Uh.. I mean.... Uh... Um....... So where did you find her?" she asked, trying to leave that embarrassing moment behind her.
