Including the twins parents. The twins closest relative would not be able to house them and they could not live on the farm. All the twins could do was stay on the farm and keep working as if their parents were still here. All they had were each other. And all they want is peace and happiness.

Raelyn headed out to the field were Izzy usually spends most of his time. Him and Benjamin were hard at work and Jade was off to the side. Probably at the boy's request. They never let her or Jade do any hard work. Jade is better at convincing them to let her help, but today clearly wasn't the days to attempt to convince them otherwise. "Izzy! Ben!" She called out to them. "It's time for dinner. Come inside." She said waving for them to head on over. Ben noticed Rae and nodded. He wiped his hands on his jeans and started heading over to where the girls were waiting. He set his tools down before standing next to the girls. "Are the other two still here?" Ben asked, arms crossed with some hostility in his voice. Rae nodded. "Why?" He questioned, confused to why Rae still even trusted the two after the lies and putting them in danger. "Because they are hungry." She added with a shrug. Raelyn wasn't about to explain why people deserve second chances to the most stubborn person on the planet. "Can't they get food somewhere else?" He asked. Rae crossed her arms. "As long as you agree to take and eat with them." Raelyn added. Ben huffed and didn't say anything else after that. Rae wasn't changing her mind about the strangers, so he was done arguing.

Raelyn's call pulled the farmer boy out of his thoughts as he lifted his head. He watched as Benjamin made his way over to her and Isaiah began to pick up his things. He hadn't finished just yet, but he never liked leaving a mess behind. He could somewhat hear what the two were talking about. Ben clearly did not want the guests staying any longer than they already had, and were it a few minutes ago, Isaiah would have agreed. However, he'd not one to deny others help. He's also not one to blindly make decisions. "Cut it out Ben" the farmer boy muttered as he walked past him and his sister. He gave Jade, who had been sitting on a tree trunk a few feet away, a soft smile before heading towards the kitchen. The brunette watched until he had made it inside and decided to quickly follow suit.

Benjamin was in a state of shock when Isaiah had just told him to knock it off. He thought they were on the same page about the strangers. Clearly not. It didn't matter anyway. Ben knew they weren't going to stay for long. Not after everything that happened. The two strangers had just put everyone in danger, it would be dumb to let them stay in the house any longer. The twins were just too nice to kick anyone out. But he wasn't. He just remained quiet for now and followed them to the kitchen. Raelyn was genuinely nervous about what was going to happen. It was almost like two sides of war. Each side was upset with each other, one way or another, and at any moment something could set them off. Rae was hoping that everyone would just eat in silence. They all reached the kitchen and the magical siblings were there waiting. "You two could have started eating.." She informed them as she made her way to the cabinets. Rae pulled down plates for everyone and just started piling them each with food. She didn't mind serving everyone. Ben quickly came up and took his own plate, so that Rae didn't have to bring it to him. "Thank you." Ben stated before taking his seat. Rae smiled and nodded back at him. Then before serving herself, she took two plates over to Rowan and Arabelle. Arabelle looked to Rae. "Oh. You didn't have to bring us the plates, we could have gotten up." She stated. Raelyn smiled. "Don't worry about it. Eat." The chef went back to get her own plate and then take a seat at the table with everyone. It was rather silent. Ben didn't let the silence last for long. "So when do you two plan on leaving?" He questioned before taking a bite of his food. Raelyn eyes grew wide a bit before glaring. "Benjamin! Why would ask that!?" Ben just shrugged as he continued to eat. "You don't have to answer that." She assured the siblings. Arabelle didn't even look to anyone at the question. She wanted to leave as soon as possible, but she didn't think that would be smart since their location is known. They may be hidden, but not for long. Arabelle just began eating the food on her plate.

Izzy made sure to quickly join his sister and helped serve. She couldn't do all the work herself. He was about to tell the guests to stand and grab their own plates, because everyone here had to do their fair share, however Jade and Ben did so before he even got the chance. They already knew how things worked. Izzy also grabbed his own place and walked over to set it on the table. He looked up, preparing to tell Arabelle and Rowan to go get theirs, when he saw Raelyn heading over with their food. Izzy couldn't help but roll his eyes. Though they were both the type to treat guests well, Raelyn had always been way too nice. Especially now, after everything that had happened. The only thing that made Izzy feel a bit better was Arabelle's response. Otherwise he would have just thought the two were taking advantage of their hospitality.
Rowan had fully planned on not only getting his own plate but also his own food, however Raelyn didn't give anyone a second's chance. Before he could even blink, she had already served their food and was over at their side with the plates. Rowan immediately nodded in agreement to Arabelle's protest, but didn't say anything else. One, because he was starting to feel very hungry and wanted to eat, and two, because he simply did not have the energy to argue.
After everyone had their food, they all sat around the table. It was quiet at first, and far from feeling awkward, Rowan was thankful. He could eat in peace. However a particularly annoying voice ruined that. "So when do you two plan on leaving?" Raelyn immediately scolded the guy for it, but that didn't make it any less irritating. Arabelle, Jade and Isaiah remained silent, all eyes on their food. Rowan, however, just couldn't do that. "That depends" he said, taking a sip of his water and locking eyes with Benjamin who was across the table from him. "When d you plan on getting a better personality?".
Isaiah bit on his bottom lip, not wanting to make the situation worse, though Rowan's comment tickled his insides> Mostly because he was not expecting it, and he could already see Benjamin's response. Finally he couldn't hold it anymore and let out a snort, eyes moving over to his friend to catch his reaction. Rowan remained stoic, his gaze fixed on Benjamin. He had never been the type to cower away from confrontation and this man had been asking for it from the moment he stepped inside this house.

Arabelle rolled her eyes at the comment, after she finally calmed herself down from laughing. She couldn't believe that Rowan even bothered to entertain that idiot. "Excessively flirting with Raelyn and trying to show off does not count as a personality." She said with a smirk. She didn't care if it was mean. Arabelle had been excessively nice to Ben for the twins, but Ben was extremely annoying and rude to Rowan for no reason. He deserved it any and every mean comment. Especially because everyone, but Raelyn, knows that he was just trying to get with the cute farmer gal the same way he gets with everyone else. And by the look on Rae's face, she was still coming to terms with that idea. Ben also looked shocked and even more hurt than before. Arabelle almost started laughing again, but she just smiled to herself as she continued eating.
Raelyn was glad that everyone was laughing, but she was not happy that it came from people attempting to hurt each others feelings. The point of the dinner was to clear the air and be friend again. Though the tension in the room was no longer as strong as it was before, it wasn't gone. It still felt like it was humans vs warlocks and Rae didn't want it to be that way anymore. She just continued to eat, unsure of how to make that situation better.
Arabelle finished eating. She hadn't realized how hungry she was, but she was glad for the excessive amount of food. She was going to miss Rae when they left. "I guess I should actually answer your question. For the sake of the twins." She stated, after cleaning her hands with a napkin. "We are not leaving until we know that you all are safe." Arabelle stated as if it wasn't a big deal. "It is all my fault that all of this is happening, so I am going to stay and make sure that nothing happens to you because of it. And I am just assuming Rowan is going to help because he knows that I can't do anything by myself." She said, glancing to him for a moment before looking back at the twins. "As soon as we know you guys are okay, we won't bother you again." she added.

Rowan had not expected the reaction he got out of everyone over his comment. He wasn't trying to be funny, in fact, he was one hundred and ten percent serious. Benjamin had irked him from the moment she showed his dumb face, and though the warlock had never been one for confrontation, he just couldn't keep quiet any more. So the fact that everyone laughed truly threw him for a loop. He snorted at Benjamin's answer, a very lame one at that, and continued to eat in silence while the others piled onto his statement. At least he wasn't the only one annoyed by his presence. His eyes, however, didn't stop short of watching Raelyn and her reaction. She looked confused, as if all of Benjamin's flirting and attempts to get into her pants had flown over her head. Which, to be honest and knowing now how she was, that was probably the case.
"We are not leaving until we know that you all are safe." Arabelle's statement pulled his attention away from the farmer girl to the real issue at hand. He listened in silence as she continued. [b]It is all my fault that all of this is happening, so I am going to stay and make sure that nothing happens to you because of it. And I am just assuming Rowan is going to help because he knows that I can't do anything by myself. As soon as we know you guys are okay, we won't bother you again."[b] as much as he hated to admit it, for once in her life she was right. They couldn't leave the siblings alone, not now that there was a whole coven headed their way. A very dangerous, ruthless one at that.
"I'm sure we can take care of ourselves, we've done it all these years." was Isaiah's first response as his forked stabbed at the chicken on his plate. Roman gave his the usual eyeroll and swallowed before speaking. "No, you can't. Not this time. This isn't a heard of street bandits you'll be up against, you get that right?". Izzy only stared at the warlock, not entirely sure how to respond. Roman took it as a signal to continue. "We'll find a way to lead them in another direction, so they don't come anywhere near here." he explained, though he had yet to figure out how they would do that. "And like Belle said, once we know you're safe, e'll leave. You'll never have to see our faces again." the last part of his statement was more of a mumble, but still loud enough for everyone to hear.
Benjamin seemed to be please by that idea. Izzy, however, didn't like the sound of that. Not one bit. "Who ever said we don't want to see your faces again? Don't be so dramatic." he muttered, doing everything possible to avoid eye contact. Yes, he may have practically said that in different words earlier when he yelled at them to leave, but that was then. He was angry and confused. This is now, a more rational Izaiah that doesn't really know if he wants them to leave or not. The thought of never seeing them again, especially Arabelle, makes his stomach twist in discomfort.

At the statement, "we won't bother you again" Benjamin had a smile on his face. He was more than fine with never seeing these two again. They show up, lie to the twins, try to make a fool of him, and use the twins for their resources. They didn't deserve the kindness that Raelyn was reluctantly showing them. Especially because they were all in danger now because of the two. Without them, the family wouldn't have to worry about dying. "I'm sure we can take care of ourselves, we've done it all these years." Ben nodded in agreement with Izzy. The twins were just fine on her their own. Rowan didn't think so. Ben just rolled his eyes, not really caring how serious the magical beings think this situation is. He thought the others would have felt the same way he did about getting rid of the magical creatures already so they never have to see them again, but he was wrong.
"Who ever said we don't want to see your faces again? Don't be so dramatic." Raelyn smiled slightly to herself at her brother's words. She knew that her twin would come to his senses. Though he had a right to be angry before, it was good that he had calmed down. "You would have to visit us, of course. We always appreciate the extra help around the farm and I love having extra mouths to feed." She stated with a warm smile, ignoring the annoyed look on Ben's face. Although the witches hadn't come with told the truth in the beginning, they were still good people. Rae never felt like she was in danger with either of them. They helped around the farm, although Rowan seemed as though he would rather be anywhere else. And just the thought of never seeing either of them again, especially Rowan, put knots in her stomach. She is going to keep that to herself.
Arabelle was unsure how to respond to the twins. She was shocked that either of them would want to see her or Rowan again. They lied and put them in danger. And yet, they were still extending their kindness. The witch has never experienced such kindness from anyone. Arabelle would love to see both of them again, but she doesn't think she will be alive in a few days. The coven was angry and Arabelle was tired trying to fight back. All of her efforts have failed and now she has put innocents in serious danger. She has lost her enthusiasm for trying to make the coven good. If given the opportunity to offer her life up in exchange for Rowan's and the others, she would. "Then we will have to visit. But only for the food." She said with a small giggle. Arabelle ran her fingers through her hair and stood up. "I'm going to go for a walk." She glanced to Rowan. "I promise to come back." It was her little way of letting him know that she wasn't running off to do some other stupid thing. She moved away from the table and headed out the front door to walk around the farm. She had finished eating and wasn't tired enough to go to bed, so she figured the walk was better than sitting at the table.
Raelyn frowned a bit when Arabelle left the house. Something was wrong. She looked to Rowan, but then she looked to Isaiah. "Go." She whispered to him, not caring that he wasn't completely done with his food.

Though he didn't say anything out loud, Rowan could tell Benjamin was itching to see them leave. That irritated the warlock to no end. Not necessarily because wanted to stay, though if he had to be honest he kind of did, but because this wasn't his house. He didn't live here either, so what right did he have to decide whether they stayed or left. His attitude only irked him more as every second passed. To the point where Rowan was practically making fists underneath the table. "I'm going for a walk" Arabelle's comment pulled him out of his annoyance long enough for him to look up and hear her say "I promise to come back." Rowan's lips pressed into a thin line as he watched her go. He didn't want to be the type to nag her. He wasn't her father, nor was he her brother even. But something told him she shouldn't be left alone. As he contemplated whether to follow her or not, out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Isaiah getting to his feet.
Raelyn didn't really have to tell Isaiah to go after Arabelle. The moment he realized Rowan wasn't sure of whether to go or not, the farmer boy took it upon himself to do so. Maybe it was none of his business. Maybe he would just be a bother to her, but after everything that had happened, he didn't like the thought of her being alone. Not to mention it would be nice to talk to her without Benjamin or Jade judging his every word. So he quickly got to his feet, giving Rowan and quick nod or reassurance, before heading out and follow Arabelle's trail. She hadn't gotten very far. Izzy quickly caught up to her, but remained a few steps behind her and walked in silence. He wasn't attempting to keep hidden. He knew she would figure out it was him that was following her, but he simply did not know what to say. So he walked behind her in silence, hoping she'd turn around and speak to him first.
Rowan remained in his seat for all of five seconds before getting up and gathering the empty plates. He already knew what Benjamin was thinking. That he and Arabelle were only here to cause trouble and were practically dead weight. But that was not the case and Rowan would not stand for a mere human to think of them that way. Especially not one with such a rotten personality. "I'll do the dishes" he said to Raelyn. "Just sit" it was more of an order than a statement. She had made them all their food, now it was his turn to do something in return.

Arabelle took a deep breath of fresh air the moment she stepped outside. It was dark now, but that wasn't going to stop her from wandering around the farmland. She just wanted to clear her head and think about how she was about to save the humans from dangerous magical beings that wanted her and Rowan dead. The witch had an idea already she just didn't think that anyone, especially Rowan, would let her follow through with it. So she needed another one. A good one. Arabelle crossed her arms and continued to wander, not really paying attention to where she was going. She could hear the steps behind her. The witch knew it wasn't Rowan because he usually just falls in line next to her. Jade and Ben don't like her and Rae was too busy trying to keep the peace to leave the Rowan with the other two. Arabelle stopped walking and turned to face Isaiah. "Did you come to see if I was going to do something dumb?" She questioned with a small smirk. That's usually why Rowan went with her anywhere. "You don't have to answer that." She quickly added, running her fingers through her hair. Arabelle would be lying if she said that she wasn't curious about why Izzy had come out here. Though he had seem to forgive them in the kitchen, she didn't really believe it. She knew she had hurt him. It was evident when her and Rowan admitted everything. "Was it Rowan or Raelyn that sent you?" Arabelle questioned curiously. There was a small part of her that assumed it was Rae, since Rowan still was indifferent about Isaiah.
Benjamin was still upset about this entire situation with the witches and the twins. Why were they still here? Why did the twins even want those two around? The entire house was in danger and Raelyn was brushing it off as it was no big deal. Izzy wasn't helping either, by forgiving them over dinner. The twins were too kind and stubborn. It was going to get them hurt. He was done trying to convince them of that. After Izzy went to watch Arabelle, Ben got up and headed upstairs without a word.
Raelyn watched Ben go upstairs, a small frown on her face. She didn't like when her friends were upset, but she knew there wasn't really anything she could do to make Ben feel better. All she really wanted to do now was clean the kitchen and just make sure everyone got to bed okay. Rowan, however, beat her to it. He started gathering the empty plates. "I'll do the dishes" Rae wasn't going to let him clean up himself. She began to stand up, but Rowan had basically ordered her to sit back down. The farmer girl did as she was told and just watched instead. Clearly, she had no say in regards to cleaning the kitchen. Usually she is able to clean with no protest from her twin or her two other friends. They help, but she is usually in charge. This is the first time she has just sat back and let someone else clean.
Rae looked over to Jade. "Umm..I don't know how long you and Ben had planned on staying, but you are free to roam my closet for pajamas and clothes." She knows that they had come for the one night, but now it seemed they would be here a while. She just wanted to let Jade know that she didn't have to stick with the same clothes. "The same goes for Ben." She would go up there and tell him herself, but she didn't want to make him more upset. He just needs a moment to cool off before Rae can speak to him. And she would have sent Izzy to make him feel better, but he was with Arabelle right now. Hopefully, Jade can help calm him down.

There was so much Isaiah wanted to say at that point, but couldn’t find the words to say it. He watched Arabelle as she went on to apologize, lowering her head as if she was about to start crying. Though hesitant, the boy reached over, placing both hands over her arms in hopes she would look up. ”Look…” the farmer boy took in a deep breath, attempting to gather his thoughts before speaking so that his sentences actually meant something instead of just being incoherent gibberish. ”I have no idea what kind of people you’re up against….i don’t even know if Rae and I can be of any help. But…” he let his arms fall back down to his sides, nervously clearing his throat before finishing his sentence. ”You can stay here as long as you need to….we don’t want you to get hurt.”
"Thank you...for cleaning the kitchen." Rowan only hummed in response, not sure what else he was supposed to say. It was quiet for a couple of beats until Raelyn spoke again. "And I am uh sorry about Ben...he means well..." the warlock scoffed and snorted at the same time, though it was quietly and he was almost certain Raelyn didn't notice. "Means well"? That's the last thing Rowan would have thought to call it, but of course Raelyn's innocent mind failed to see the intentions behind Benjamin's actions yet again. Rowan wondered how long this had been going on for.
"I can leave you alone to finish, if you want." once again, the warlock didn't verbally respond but only focused on finishing the task at hand. A few seconds later and he was done. He took a towel, quickly drying his hands and before turning to look at the girl at the table. "Look...this is none of my business, I mean you do what you want but..." the warlock took in a short breath, not even sure why he was getting himself involved in this. "You need to be more careful around that guy...his intentions aren't as pure as you think they are." he stopped there, not really caring if Raelyn got upset with him. She needed to know the truth about this guy and if no one else told her then he would do it himself.
Raelyn was waiting for Rowan to let her know in some way that he would want to be alone. While waiting, she just continued watching him to clean. He waited until he was finished before even speaking to her. But what she wasn't expecting was a warning about Ben. Especially from him. For some reason, she thought that he wouldn't even care. But that fact that he even brought it up meant that he did and that made her heart flutter a bit. Raelyn figured this how Arabelle knows he cares. He will express an honest opinion whether or not it was asked for. "I know Ben is uh...popular with women. With the amount of parties he has thrown and the amount of drunk confessions, I am well aware that he gets around." She explained to him. "But we all grew up together. He is family. At least...to me he is family." She added, remembering the comments about him and his feelings over dinner. Rae was never romantically interested in Ben. He was just another older brother who was just as protective and loving. "But I promise to be more careful.." Raelyn felt like Rowan would feel better if she just agreed to be careful. She added a smile, hoping that also made him feel better.
Raelyn continued to look at Rowan. It was interesting to see how he interacted with her. Since he got here, he has done nothing but surprise. He seemed very quiet and apathetic about life compared to his bubbly counterpart. But he was nice...in his own way. He helped with the farm when Rae asked and he seemed to like the animals. He clearly care about Arabelle or he wouldn't have kept her around. He had seen Rae cry and even hugged her a bit while it was happening. He helped with dinner and assisted with the kitchen. Rowan may not seem like it, but he was genuinely a sweetheart. He was just really good at hiding it. Rowan seemed satisfied with her answer. For a moment it was silent between the two. Rae knew that he didn't like questions, but she kind of wanted to talk to him some more. It was nice to hear him talk. Especially when he didn't talk often. "How does um...magic work? You used my energy earlier...does that mean I can do magic?" It was a genuine question. Magic is real. Who knew what else was out there, but she thought starting with specifics of magic was easier to handle than asking about other species.
"I think he and i got off on the wrong foot." Arabelle shrugged a bit. Both her and Rowan were used to the misunderstanding. His whole life people were wrong about him, thinking that he was dangerous or just a bad person. But Arabelle knew that it wasn't true and it wasn't his fault that he gave off that vibe. Belle spent most of her life defending him, trying to convince people that he is just a teddy bear in armor. But after a while she stopped explaining and Rowan never really cared in the first place. There was some silence between the two as they continued to walk. "So this magic...does it have limits to what someone can do?" Arabelle nodded. "The limits of magic depends on the person" She said honestly. "I usually can perform most magic spells, but I can't control much power I use. Sometimes its not enough and other times it is way too much. Rowan can perform most magic spells with exact precision." She started to explain, hoping that it was making sense. "All magic has a price. The magic we usually perform doesn't do much damage. It usually just takes up a lot of energy, but the spell that I am trying to cast...isn't so simple." If the spell went her way, she was expecting to die. But she can't tell anyone that. Especially not Rowan, he would stop her.
There was silence between Rowan and Raelyn after she asked her question. It wasn't the silence itself that worried her, it was what the silence meant. It meant that the people after them were extremely dangerous. And even though it was clear that Ro was trying to keep her calm, she was still extremely worried. "Don't worry about us, we'll figure it out" That didn't make her feel better at all. In fact it freaked her out more after the two of them made eye contact. He was scared. Rae wanted to protect the magical creatures even though she knew that she couldn't. But she couldn't let them go. If they left, they would be dead for sure. "We'll make sure they have no way of connecting you and Isaiah to us before we leave. They won't hurt you." Is that what he thought? That all she cared about was her and her brother's safety? She shook her head in slight annoyance and reached out, taking hold of his hands. "But what about you? I don't want you to get hurt." She said, trying to make it clear as day that she cared about him.
