Ferela watched Norma's expression darken a little and felt bad she realized that her mouth had gotten ahead of her 'Norma is older than I am...she is probably embarrassed I should have kept quiet..to late I guess' she thought before saying "No problem..and thank you.." she stood and went to Norma with a quick bow she said quietly to only Norma " I am sorry if I embarrassed you...my words got ahead of my thoughts so I will just help you if you ask..also good luck in your performance I know you'll be great.." Ferela felt as though she had said what she meant but knew it probably sounded confusing she looked at Norma with a friendly look sorry for her word fumble.

Luise took the piece of cake offered, smiling and taking a small bite in gratitude to Ember, but as soon as the silver-haired girl turned away, the fire-breather promptly dumped the cake over her shoulder and spit out the rest. She loathed sweets, they absolutely ruined her figure, something that was quite important to her and her occupation, and truthfully they didn't taste all that good. Anyone who could find artificial sugar anything but repulsive was strange to her, she couldn't fathom how Ember or Jem could joy such things. But, of course, she didn't want to upset the girl further and just went along with it.

After Ember finished feeding the cat its 'breakfast' (And, most likely, it inevitable death.), Luise wrapped an arm around the taller girl's shoulder with some difficulty, and started to pull her away from Jem and the rest, waving off Lady's concern, "So, Ember, dear, I was wondering if you could help me out with something?" Luise swirled her finger around in the air, a thin trail of flames following after it, "I know it's a bit rude to ask, but could you help me with my stretches? I've been trying to become more flexible... For the act, of course." She added the last part in a bit too quickly.

Image

Jem, whom was handed the slice of cake and was swiftly cut away from any conversation he might have with Ember by the circus whore, was left a tad secluded. He took his cake, wrinkling his nose as Luise when he heard her flexibility comment (Maybe he should mention it to Zeke, just to harass her a bit?), before he was back at the tables, poking at the cake slice sleepily. His tiredness, now that he was no long distracted by the cake-hunt, was overwhelming, and he found himself slowly falling forward before jolting himself awake again at the last second. However, on the last time 'round, he just couldn't keep his eyes open, his head slamming forward onto the table with a hefty force, missing the cake by a hair's breath. That woke him up, if anything.

Jem groaned loudly in pain, not finding the effort to bother to pick up his head and deciding it was a great place for a nap.

"What are you talking about, Ferela?" Norma laughed nervously, forcing a smile. "It's nothing about embarrassment! You'll just be more in touch with my health and will remind me about the painkillers in case I forget."

Norma took a lock of Ferela's hair and started braiding it.

"You'll make everyone calmer if you stick around me a little more than usual." Her smile wasnt forced any more. "I'd do the same for you in case you get injured."

Again, Norma managed to get out of the self pity or self conscious phase - probably for the second or third time in the last few minutes. Her biggest motivation was a great performance - the main reason she got over her phases. Norma, like everyone else, loved performing. If you worsen the situation with something you're bad at, you can also make things better with something you're good at - this would go for everyone, this is all that mattered.

Ferela watched Norma and was happy she didn't seem too be mad at her she let out a small breathe as Norma started braiding a lock of her hair"You'll make everyone calmer if you stick around me a little more than usual." Ferela saw her smile lighten become easier as she said"I'd do the same for you in case you get injured." Ferela looked at Norma and smiled as she said "Ok and thanks again I am happy to know that!" She watched the girl braid her bit of hair "You are quite good at braiding Norma..." she said absently as the thought popped in her head she felt an urge to hug the girl but stayed still and just watched the others, while doing this she watched Luise talking to Ember as she walked her away then saw Jem fall asleep hitting the table audibly and he lay there she assumed he was asleep 'Im glad that the workers do what they do..but it is sad how little sleep they seem to get..' she thought to herself.

Ember was content at his point. And she was pleased to hear Luise's request after she had finished her breakfast cake. She gave the girl a beaming smile and took both hands into her own. "I would love to help you~! I'm sure you'll be all stretchy and perfect for the show in no time!!! Ember chimed, bouncing around slightly in pure happiness.

Ember, never having let go of the poor girl's hands, pulled her down onto the ground. "We can start here~ And then everyone will know how good you're going~" She chimed, sitting like a baby would who just fell down on their butt. "Lets try this one to see where you're at. Ember offered as she did the splits easily. She more or less laid down on the ground while doing so and rolled upwards, pointing out her toes.

She came back to normal and smile at the girl before her. "Alright~ Your turn~" Embers had no clue how flexible the girl before her was, and things like this had come easily to her. She would help of course once she realized, bu this was more of a test to see how much help was indeed needed. "The burn means it's working~"

Lady Dravvis

Lady was counting her supplies when the resounding thump and pained groan caught her attention. She looked over in time to see Jeremy blinking sleepily and huffed before moving over to clean a small bit of frosting that had been less fortunate in the crash to the table. "Mister Jeremy, tell me how many times have I warned you about getting enough sleep?" Lady always tried to sound more like a concerned friend then a disappointed teacher but she was fairly sure she sounded quite upset. Carefully Lady lifted Jem's head and felt the part that had suffered the harshest impact. "Tch, your fine but I would suggest you eat and get to bed as soon as possible... Though I'm afraid to let you eat in your current state." Lady lifted Jem's head and stared at him feeling his head and checking his blood flow quickly. "Your lucky... Your fine aside the obvious fatigue and no eating so I will give you two options you allow me or someone to escort you to your room for some sleep or you can stay here and eat and then get escorted! And if IF you so much as dare try and skip out on sleep or food to go run some idiots errands that I'm sure someone else can do. I. Will. Show. No. Mercy." Lady stepped back hands on her hips as she waited for Jem's choice.

Jean Dravvis

Jean felt rather upset for Norma and Lady's harshness so he gave the girl a comforting smile before he went back to exitedly talking with Ezra. It wasn't until Jean heard Lady's 'serious' voice that he looked away from Ezra to focus on Lady who was scolding Jeremy. Too be honest Jean had nothing against Jeremy... He just did not like Jeremy around Lady. Maybe it was because the man was always so eager to help and his signature 'What'cha need, Sweetheart?' no one was allowed to say such things to Lady! She was too special for such things and no one deserved her they did not even deserve to flirt with her. Huffing and pouting Jean crossed his arms and whispered to Ezra and Ztazeeka (who happened to be in the general vicinity) "Am I the only one who doesn't like the amount of attention Jem gives Lady... I mean he's half asleep now BUT usually! I swear he's more polite to her or or... Something." Jean continued to pout and fume as he tried to dissect if Jem was really being friendly or if maybe his precious sisters perfect everything was being over-appreciated by a certain sweet loving blonde.

Luise, having paled slightly after being dragged to the floor along with the bouncy acrobat, watched in utter horror as Ember did her splits and (To Luise's pang of pain in her inner thighs just by watching) her rolling forward in a hamstring shredding, groin aching fashion. But, the fire breather was a dancer after all, so the split was manageable to say the least (If only just barely!), but there was no way in this lifetime that Luise could do whatever Ember wanted to call that little trick.

Luise fixed her legs into a middle split, but moved no further than that, the steps thereafter an unfeasible task, "Hm..." Her voice was tense with strain to keep position, her discipline for the last while not really been up to par in the training/stretches department, but kept a level and calm demeanor, "I don't think I can quite do that yet, Dear... Do you have anything more basic? Just a bit?" Luise let out a slow breath, adjusting her legs again because they had started to slip from their position, a small burst of flames escaping from her lips but dissipating as quickly as they came.

Jem, in his half-asleep state, scrunched his eyes closed as footsteps sounded closer, approaching his place at the table, mumbling quietly, "What'cha need, S-" Though, he never finished, shutting himself up instantly as the dear Miss Lady started to scold him greatly for his carelessness and over-work. He couldn't retort to her, he really couldn't, since he knew that getting little sleep and eating even less was just apart of the job description. All the workmen had days where they couldn't walk straight. Though, Lady had told Jem time and time again, it always seemed to turn out this way. Jem accepted the scolding with a silent nod, knowing full well he deserved it, ready to leave it at that (Never one to argue, but especially not with Lady.) and continue snoozing halfheartedly at the table. However, Jem's face flooded with heat, his eyes popping open quickly, as small hands pulled him up from his sleep-ready position, inspecting his head for injury.

He could see her lips moving, but Lady's words were falling on deaf ears, Jem fighting his own internal 'Fight or Flight' alarm that was screaming 'FLIGHT FLIGHT FLIGHT'. Lady was standing far too close, and he could just feel Jean's eyes burning holes into the back of his head. That is, until he finally tuned the sound back in, letting it match up with moving lips and only catching small tid-bits of her lecture, leading up into the last, "I. Will. So. No. Mercy." Now Jem knew he was in some deep.... You know, but at least he caught the gist of what she had been saying.

"Ah... I-I can just go back myself. No need to be a bother, you guys have a show tonight!" He stammered stupidly, rising from his chair a bit too quickly for his own good, the world spinning and darkening at a dizzying pace, making him stagger.

Ztateeka

Watching Ember do the splits affected Ztateeka more than he would have liked to let on. There was something about a lithe, athletic body stretching itself to its full extent that... well, sort of did things to a guy. It didn't take much, in his fevered (and lonely) imagination for him to imagine her doing that just for him, in somewhere private... He bit his lip, and looked elsewhere, glad that he had this ability (when not performing) to lurk almost unseen and unnoticed.

When Luise tried to emulate Ember, though, he saw the difference. Where Ember had been grace personified, poor Luise was just... just wrong! It wasn't that there was anything wrong with her body. She wasn't overweight or anything (presumably there were no calories in fire, he thought sarcastically)... just that she seemed to approach it as if she wasn't quite sure she could do it. With Ember, even before she proved it, you could never have been in any doubt about her abilities. It was the same with his own act, he knew. Look hesitant or worried, and even if the trick works, it'll still fall down flat. Confidence was all.

He was dragged quickly out of these musings by the thump as Jeremy's head hit the table. Though fortune telling had never been his area of specialty at Le Cirque, he could have told exactly, to the letter, what would happen next. And he was right. Immediately Lady loomed up, scolding and nagging and fussing, like a mother hen. A beautiful caring mother hen, of course (and his mind hastily repressed the "beautiful," but a split second too late, and he had already thought it) but... he considered his own act, and the fact that he was unlikely to suffer serious injury performing it, or become so tired that he would fall down into his own breakfast. Was this bad, he wondered, or good? Good, of course. Who would want Lady fussing over them?

He forced himself to believe this was a rhetorical question.

Ember watched as the girl before her worked on the move. Okay... Something simpler. "Lets try touching out toes then~" She chimed, spreading her legs into a V shape and bending to one side. She grabbed the bottom of her foot with both hands perfectly clasped around it and stayed there.

"Alright~ You try~ This isn't too hard~ Try going as faaaaaaaaar as you can. Try and think of reaching for something you really wants~ That is what I do~ Ember stated as her kitty, Simon, came trotting over to her. He meowed cutely before hopping up onto her back. "Simon~ Do wants to do stretches too~?" she asked, the cat, giggling lightly.

Ember traveled her hands to the other side of per body, to the other leg and repeated the stretch. "Don't give up~ The pain means that it's working~" She encouraged the other. Ember had no idea that she was currently being creeped on by Ztateeka. And quite frankly, she never would. Too innocent~

((psst. Anyone still out there? ))

Lady Dravvis

Lady was quick and as soon as she saw Jem stagger her arm shot out and grabbed onto the taller boy in order to stop his near falling. She immediately forgot another on-coming lecture in favor of staring at Jeremy with concern. "No way am I letting YOU walk by yourself Mister. I swear you nearly gave me a heart attack." Despite her normally expressionless face her lips still formed a strange mix between a frown and a pout while her eyes eyed Jeremy concerned wondering if he was getting sick or if her earlier deduction of tired still fit the bill. With a sigh of resignation Lady hooked her arm around the taller mans. "Come now I'll escort you to your caravan." Without waiting for permission Lady began to walk forward stopping to accept a wrapped sandwich that the cook offered her, he must have seen the scolding and decided to help. Bowing politely she handed the sandwich to Jeremy and continued out of the tent.

The morning was already beginning to fade and the misty fog had cleared allowing Lady to admire the ride's and tents and the brightly colored caravan's the evening was sure to be glorious with lights and performances and even though Lady was more then a little concerned for her fellow show mates she knew they would all be fine. Glancing up at Jeremy Lady stared at him expressionless for the most part but for her calculating eyes. "You work allot harder then most of the people here Mister Jeremy... I suppose I should apologize then... I am rather harsh but I should also appreciate the work you do so... I appreciate the work you do..." Lady fell into a small silence before she let out a small huff. "... Your still not forgiven for scaring me like that though... Honestly." Lady huffed and continued.

Jean Dravvis

Jean continued to watch his sisters interaction closely all the while grumbling his annoyance. But Jeremy WAS too tired to appreciate Lady's everything at the moment... And he supposed that made it ok... Besides Lady was only interested in Jem's health nothing else right? Right? Finally peeling his eyes away from Lady as she escorted Jem away Jean focused instead on Ztateeka. "So you got any new ideas for your show? I was talking about it with Norma earlier but then the glass fell and... Yeah." Jean gave a crooked smile remembering the expression Norma had it had been pretty cute though he still felt a little bad about it. Speaking of Norma... Jean spared the girl a glance. He would have to talk to her again later...

"Poor Jeremy..." Norma thought. "He sure works a lot. I hope he doesn't get worse. Lady now takes care of him. We sure worry her a lot with our conditions, but that's what being a medic like."

Norma's sight was shot at Ferela when she mentioned that 'he kinda liked her'.
"Wha-" Norma almost exploded, but quickly stopped herself of saying something stupid or revealing.
"Who is that 'he' you're talking about, Ela?" Norma tried her best to look and act as casual as possible, knowing that Ferela didn't specifically mention the name.
"How can you tell that this particular person might like me? Have you noticed something really odd about Jean's beha..." So much for being casual, as Norma quickly clogged her mouth with both of her hands.

"L-look! Ember and Luise are stretching!" Norma yelled nervously, pointing at them. "Let's keep them company!"

The girl took Ferela's arm and started dragging her along.
"Hey, girls!" Norma greeted the stretchers, as her voice got a little high pitched.

Was she really THAT easy to be read? At this rate she started wondering how come Jean himself didn't notice? Maybe he did? Maybe everyone did?

Norma let Ferela go, as she wished. She had to accept the fact that Ela knew. She wouldn't deny though, Norma was glad that Ferela was willing to keep a secret.

Not knowing how to react any more, Norma just decided to participate in the stretching. She started bending backwards and touched the ground with her healthy arm, thus making a bridge position. So far so good, until her wide top started obeying gravity. Norma held it, preventing her bra exposure just in time. She should have thought of that, she should have at least put on more convenient clothes for stretching! Or not participating in the stretching at that moment.

"I'll just keep company..." The girl quickly got up. "You're doing great!" She showed thumbs up with both of her hands.

Ztateeka

Still lurking on the fringe of the group, Ztateeka found his view of the girls practicing the stretches uninterrupted. He saw Ferela and Norma in some kind of secret conversation, and though he didn't hear it, he could see Norma blush - or close to it, at least - which gave him some idea of what it might have been about. He thought about another member of Le Cirque, and wondered if she would feel the same, that obvious mixture of excitement and embarrassment, that came to girls when they're told a certain male is grooving upon them. He doubted it. Not, he thought wryly, it would ever be put to the test. She'd never know.

Though he was not especially interested in Norma's stretching - it seemed everyone was having a try now - he could not fail to notice it with an idle glance. She had adopted a position that provided an academic interest to him, at least, using just one arm to support herself rather than the two that another girl might use. Obviously the injured arm would not support her body - which was understandable enough - but then, why stretch at all? Was she, he wondered, showing off? He shrugged. An occupational trait, he guessed, among performers.

As Norma arched, he noticed something else, too. The untucked shirt she wore was not suitable for the act being performed. Most girls, he reflected, would have realized this, and knotted the material around their midriff to keep it in place, or even tucked it in. Not Norma, however. With most girls, he would just concluded that she had a natural ease that meant she didn't care if everyone saw her bra. From what he knew of Norma, however, he guessed her natural shyness prevented that.

It was as he had predicted. The shirt began sliding quickly downwards, towards her head, revealing her midriff. A gentleman might have turned away, and it was what Ztateeka should have done, he knew. But if Norma were concerned with making a fool of herself, all that might mean was that everyone else would still witness it anyway.

Consciously, he had dismissed the situation. Deep inside, another thought took control. What if it was... her... who was about to make an exhibition of herself?

It was not a conscious decision, not a planned act. Instead, his instincts took over. he blinked, allowing his mind to relax for a split second, reaching out tendrils of thought, just as he might control wind, or fire, or electrical power. He could feel the fabric of the shirt in his mind, as if some inner part of his mind were clutching it like fingers. As she arched, he "pulled" the hem upwards, keeping it in place for a few heartbeats, all that his still developing power would allow, delaying the moment when it slid towards her armpits. Just a short time, but enough. Delaying her exposure until Norma herself realized what might happen and quickly grabbed the hem and held it in place.

He would have felt like a knight in shining armor performing this service for a certain someone else. Just doing it for Norma, however, gave him a certain warm glow. Even if she would never know he had intervened. And even though the effort of doing it caused a wave of tiredness to shoot through him, so that he sat back, repressing a groan.

Ember was pleased to have other people stretch with her and the firedancer. Getting bored with easy stretches, Ember placed one leg down onto the ground as she lifted the other up until her legs practically made the letter "L". She giggled as she decided to make other shapes and letters with her body. Like an "O" came next as she rested on her stomach, took her feet behind her and decided to try and roll. When she actually successfully did it, she rubbed her face. "Meh... That felt weird." She commented before giggling again.

When asked what she was planning, Ember bounced up. "Oh! I know! I get really pretty rings~ One is on fire. Another is really icy~ One is swinging likes if it were windy and the other is all roughs and stuff! It's like the four elements!"

Luise, having failed before even trying the previous act, felt compelled to not fail the next. Not that it was anything hard, Ember had made the progression of the stretches switch at a complete 180. Toe-touches? Ha! Easy. The firebreather fixed her skirt, for it had bunched up around her upper thighs during her splits, pulling it down so that undergarments weren't shown, and mimicked Ember's next position.

She glanced up at the arrival of the other two girls, the animal trainer and the acrobat, and Luise flashed them a grin before continuing the stretch. This was easy, way easy. She'll be stretchy and bendy in no time! At least, as long as she doesn't have to do that beginning move anytime soon. Oh, man, how does Ember not break anything doing that?!

Speaking of the silver-haired girl, Luise took a moment to glance over at her, only to watch the thin girl performing the alphabet with her body. Ouch... No thank you...

A few more toe-touches later, Luise decides that she wanted to try something different, and proceeded to twist and stretch she spine. It was nothing fancy, unlike Ember whom was shaping herself into a human cheerio or Norma who was doing a rather revealing backbend... (Goodness, Luise needed to give that girl a good talking-to about trying not to attract the wrong kind of attention!) Just a few twists of the shoulders to keep everything situated.

"If you're going to use fire in your act, Ella, be sure your animals don't get too close to it. That goes for you too, alright? Wouldn't want anyone getting hurt, yeah?" Luise would know that rule better than anyone, and had ugly scars to prove it.

((OOC: I will do Jem later, just wanted to get something up so I wasn't dead air ^^))

Ferela nodded "I know that, we have been practicing for a long time..I would never put me babies in danger.."she said a small bit of motherly tone to her voice she looked at Luise "What are you doing?"she asked calmly but picked at the ground absently thinking about her act slightly.

Ztateeka

Norma's question, Ztateeka thought, was both a fair and an unfair one. Fair, because it was never a bad idea to run new ideas past one's colleagues. There might be a concept you were totally in love with, that you just "knew" the audience were going to eat up. But simply because you were so enthusiastic, you might have failed to notice it was either unworkable, dangerous or just... well, that it might fall flat.

Yet unfair, too. He knew that many performers hated discussing their ideas before using them. It weakened the surprise, the thrill of getting to show them to an audience as a brand new, totally original concept. And this, he felt, tended to take the edge off his own excitement, and affected his delivery. Ztateeka never showed his new ideas for his act before the first time he unleashed them.

He wondered, though, if his own failure to really fit in with the rest of the team might be due to this reserve. It might be seen as snobbery, stand-offish-ness, as if he were reluctant to share with the others. Sure, he did his share of the work, but this was stuff he had to do or he'd be kicked out of the Cirque. Discussing his act, however, was in a different class entirely. To do so, just a tiny bit, he thought, might make them see him in a different light.

There was a thing he'd been working on, for example. A kind of dance, that he planned for just before the main finale (in which he made the lights blink in time to music, and the glittery paper streamers he'd pre-installed form into human-like shapes and waft out into the audience and dance with them)... this part of the act was one he hadn't practiced a lot, and he wasn't sure he'd got it right yet. Still, he thought, surely that was the purpose of trying it out behind the scenes first. Better he fail now than in front of hundreds of people at the spec!

He concentrated his mind, capturing and gathering all the wind for miles around, forming it into a kind of reservoir. He was confident he could mold and control electrical power, but the wind was a new thing, and he could never be sure he'd get it right, which was why he always focused on electricity as the main part of his show.

"I've been working on this," he said, shyly, moving into the center of the group. "But I'm not sure if I've got it perfect yet."

What was meant to happen was that the wind, formed into a single unified force, would form a kind of harmless mini-twister in the middle of the stage (or, in this case, the ground next to the table,) which would thrill the audience even more, he felt, simply because of the illusion of danger. It would whirl loose pieces of paper around, gathering strength, spinning like an invisible top.

What did happen, however, was that his control was at fault. Suddenly, there was a rush of air, and the skirts of every single girl present flew upwards, instantly, like parachutes.

"Oh %^$%^%!" He screamed. "No, no... that wasn't supposed to happen!"

Ferela saw Zatateeka who looked like he was deciding something 'Oh he always is so quiet...I wonder what he is always thinking.. It is different..'she thought as she slowly stood, and saw him come towards them she smiled lightly to show kindness and heard him say "I've been working on this," moving into the center of the group. "But I'm not sure if I've got it perfect yet." she nodded and awaited him to show them as she always thought that his acts were very interesting, but suddenly a rush of air and every single girls skirt flew upwards including her own her hands flew to push it back down but it was no doubt at least a few people had seen her lacy black underwear and she blushed as she heard a few yelps "Oh %^$%^%!" He screamed. "No, no... that wasn't supposed to happen!" she fell on her butt still holding her skirt with a beet red blush on her cheeks and at a loss for words.

Luise smiled at Ella sheepishly, mistaking the motherly tone of the younger girl as one of annoyance. She hadn't meant to sound nit-picky, just concerned for a friend's (And fellow performer's) safety. Fire was dangerous, and even the mighty breather herself sometimes forgot that. Luise made a point at pulling at her gloves, making sure they were securely in place. She then busied herself with her stretches again, until a younger Mister Denzil moved his way to the center of the gals' little morning stretch circle.

The firebreather had to hold in a giggle as he spoke like a shy little mouse under predatory watch. "How cute..." She leaned to whisper to Ember, sounding almost mocking, but not by intent. With a wistful sigh, Luise leaned back on her hands, inspecting the boy and waiting for his demonstration. Really, if he had been older (For she loathes younger men.) she probably would have been all over him from the get-go. Shy had always been her type, so much fun to tease, and he wasn't bad looking in the least... Maybe...

Goodness! Ew. Was she really thinking about this? She really needed to snatch a man up after the show tonight. This is getting out of hand...

With a mental slap, she turned her attention back to the boy, just in the nick of time for every girl's skirt in the immediate vicinity to shoot up in a nose-bleeder's paradise. Luise's included. Though, until the other girls, Luise didn't redden to the color of jam, but her eyes narrowed at Denzil to a deadly point.

"Mister Tremayne..." The Firebreather's tone was icy, "Really, if you wanted that sort of performance, I'm sure there are plenty of women on the streets to suit you..." It was an unjustified sort of anger, since it was clearly an accident that had happened, but what can you say? Luise was a bit protective.

Jem couldn't even find the energy to hide his shame. How pitiful was he? He was a grown man, and yet he has to be taken care of as if he was only a child, continuing to apologize profusely under his breath to the Little Lady as she scorned him. The small girl practically had to drag him forward, her arm linked with his. Doing this, Jem couldn't help but notice how tiny she was compared to him, barely coming up to his midriff, and it only made her seem smaller as she offered him the wrapped sandwich. He had to bend a bit to grab it, not even bothering to refuse. That frown she adopted frightened him a bit, since she was usually so emotionless, so he felt like there was no way he could say no to her.

When they finally arrive at the caravan (It had felt like it had taken years!), Jeremy was all but spent, leaning back against it. The rickety thing creaked under the new weight, and the wary worker pressed his head against the metal exterior to listen to Lady, already half-asleep. Jem couldn't help but chuckle to himself. He really shouldn't chuckle, there was nothing funny about it generally, but The Little Lady just had that effect on him, her and her stubborn, motherly attitude, "Don't need to apologize, Sweetheart. I think I would've kicked the bucket by now if it wasn't for your fussing." He grinned a tired grin, patting the sandwich he had tucked into his jacket pocket like that assured his statement, "I wouldn't expect you to forgive me, anyway. I'm a load of trouble, aren't I?"

He bent and ruffled her hair before turning to yank at the caravan's door. Whether she had her head attached or not, the gesture still felt the same. Generally just nice... A very nice feeling... He was so caught up in tiredness and being half-dazed in puppy crushes, Jem didn't even bother to close the door after himself as he entered the very colorful interior. Just collapsing on the nearest, softest thing (Which so happened to be a nest of blankets piled on the floor, with various paints, drawings, and oil pastels scattered about.) he could find and drifting right off the sleep instantly.

With shock in her eyes Norma observed what happened around her, while holding her top. Never in her life has she ever been so glad she preffered shorts more than skirts. She was even more shocked that the events were caused by Ztateeka. He seemed so reserved! Maybe he messed it up, or maybe it was always the quiet ones. He seemed like he was in panic, but maybe he was a good actor too?

"Denzil, what the heck?" Norma raised her brow at him. "Careful next time."

She didn't mean to sound like she was scolding him, she only wanted to tell him not to do anything like that any more. She hoped she didn't hurt him, but most of all - she hoped he really didn't do it on purpouse.

(Hey, should we timeskip a bit?)
