Dante stuffed his books into his locker and slowly walked to The Glee Auditions. He sat down next to a emo girl and took out his Ipod and began listening to the song that he was planning to sing. He began tapping his foot to the beat. He just noticed that Jessi, Aire, Kendall, Sonny, and Brianna were already there. He looked out the door hoping that Blue would appear soon to make things less awkward.

Aire finally got up looking to Jessi "Wish me luck" she whispered as she walked to the middle of the room and handed her music to the muscians. They looked at the music then back to Aire "are you sure about this?" She nods "I am sure". Moving to the middle of the room she took the microphone and waited for the beat of the music to start "This song I am going to sing is really the truth." She then began to sing in her low alto, country voice.

While Aire sang she let her body dance to the music, she was a very graceful dancer. Her eyes kept looking to Jessi also as she sang, as the song ended she stood there waiting for the reactions of the others.

Before anyone did anything else, Zara stood up and began to clap. Slowly, others began to stand up and clap as well. It was amazing, the way that such a popular girl could just throw her reputation aside like that, to stand up in front of the auditorium, and belt out (beautifully, she thinks) what she belives in. "Can I go next?" Zara called out

Jim clapped and took down some notes "that was amazing aire its safe to say that you are definately in, and yes Zara you can go next" Jim said turning to a new page in his note pad. "Mr.Russel can I go after her" Sonny asked and Jim nodded. Sonny had thought all day about what she was going to sing and she decided on defying gravity something that would show how strong she was vocally.

Zara walked up to the microphone, jitters running through her body. She repeated her prayer that Mr. Russel took no great offense in cursing, and she bagan to sing, the lyrics just flowing out of her mouth.

She ended the song, feeling very proud of herself. She knew she had killed it.

Jim stood up and clapped "that was very good" he said then jotted down a few notes "alright Sonny your turn" He said as the red head took the stage. Sonny took a deep breath as piano began to play and she began to sing.

Finding Blue sitting in the hallways she rose her eyebrows at him and handed him the Mountain Dew she had just bought, November waited until Blue stood up and then slipped inside, she nodded to Mr.Russell and thumbed up Sonny having caught the last of her audition. "Mr. Russell can I go now?" She asked feeling Blue stand behind her in a secure protective older brother way, sense he was a mere minute older. Ember was nervous and the way her fingers tapped her thighs and the slight nibbling of her bottom lip made it all the more obvious.

Blue had known Ember wasnt in there and so her waited outside and her unspoken question made him laugh, he was nervous yes but not enough to ditch the auditions. Taking the sweet soda that was his secert obsesion he walked in behind her. When she asked to go next he step closer to help with her nerves but instead of calming down her hands stasrted tapping faster making it more obvious. "Calm down" he whispered in her ear before going to take a seat.

jim was shocked with how Sonny hit the high notes and jotted some note down she was definately in. "alright ember you can go next." Jim said turning to a new page in his note pad. The auditions were going amazing he could already taste victory and feel the national trophy in his hands. Sonny sat down next to aire and jessi "what did you guys think?" She asked with a smile on her face by the way aire you were amazing" she said

She finished and smiled at her small audience, she wondered who would go next and what song Blue would sing.

Saki had managed to skate under the radar for the past couple of days of school... she was slowly getting into the rhythm of the school and everyone in it. She decided that it was a good idea that she stay clear of the the cheerleaders, something that was almost disastrous the first day but thankfully nothing too bad resulted from her folly.

The day had gone well and students where settling in to their various clubs and organizations, not something Saki would normally look forward to but her mother was trying to encourage her to do some sort of after school program. "You need variety Saki" she would say and Saki would try to make some sort of excuse as to why she couldn't. Whether it was the fact that she was practically untalented, also clubs and activities after school often cut into study time.

As she was wandering down the hall thinking of this she heard singing coming from the stage area through an open door. Saki was intrigued and impressed by the voices she was hearing and quietly slipped into the room. She watched as people stepped up to the microphone and began to sing, everyone was amazing "I could never do anything like this" she said to herself. But hearing the music only made her want to sing along, she stood there clutching a book to her chest singing to herself quietly to each song.

Aire smiled when she heard Mr.Russel "that was amazing aire its safe to say that you are definately in", she then watched one girl sing, she doesn't remember her name but she was really good. She clapped then heard Sonny go up and sing amazing "what did you guys think? by the way aire you were amazing" "You where amazing Sonny and thanks". She then listened to Ember sing and when she ended she actually stood up and clapped, for one she loved that song and for two she thought Ember did amazing. She smiled to Jessi and actually put her hand in hers, she was not afraid any longer "Mr. Russell, you wouldn't mind if I was last right? I'm kind of nervous right now.." Aire looked at Jessi "you have nothing to be nervous about hun, you will rock that stage" she said with a smile.

Brianna sat with her headphones in her ears as people sung their songs. It wasn't that she was trying to be rude she was just going over the song she had chosen during the cheerleading tryouts, it had been a last minute decision and she was just making sure she knew all the words. Taking the headphones out of her ears she saw that no one was singing, she wasn't exactly sure who had gone yet but she decided to get her audition done and over with. "Mr.R can I get this over with?" she asked putting her ipad in her bad waiting to see if the teacher said okay.

Jim nodded "come on up brianna" he said smiling and watched as the girl walked up on stage. Sonny smiled the girl was gorgeous and she was dying inside as she watched her standing on the stage with the bright lights hitting her making her look like a beautiful angel. She wondered what the girl was going to sing.

Saki decided that sitting down in the back row wouldn't hurt anything, everyone was concentrating on who was singing anyway they weren't going to notice her. She sat down amazed by everyone's bravery "It must be nice to be able to have the courage to just get up there" she thought to herself as another girl got up to the microphone. Saki loved singing but when it came to getting up in front of others thats what made it hard for her. Even her own mother had never heard her sing except for may be through her bedroom door. But she still had the desire to sing "I could just get up and do it... but I'd probably suck and make a fool of myself"

Saki was enjoying everyone's voices who knew that there were so many talented singers in the school, she thought a moment about slipping out, but stopped when a girl came walking down the isle to her. A slight feeling of panic jumped into the expression on Saki's face and she was sure the girl had seen it. The girl looked like everything the perfect teenage girl should look like. Blonde hair, perfect skin, beautiful body, everything in Saki's mind that she wasn't.

Hey, I'm Jessi. And Not stupid, why don't you tryout? Whats to lose?" she said with big smile holding out her hand to shake Saki's.

Saki kind of inwardly laughed at herself for a moment she had been sure that Jessi would tell her to leave.

"I'm... Saki... nice to meet you", she looked up at the stage "I.... I'm not that great of a singer really... I wouldn't want to offend anyone with my terrible singing" she laughed at herself.

"At least think about it, I'm pretty sure Mr. Russell would want as much people as he can get." She says before shruging lightly and walking back to the front to sit down.

Saki looked over at Mr Russell and sighed he was the cute teacher she had at third period and recalled him saying something about this in class a few days before. But then she had been concentrating on getting her assignment done so, trying out didn't even cross her mind. It was something that was obviously important to him and had said that he had been in the Glee club when he had attended Newberry. Saki swallowed at got up from her seat and moved up just to the seats right behind Mr. Russell.

Gently she tapped him on the shoulder as he had his eyes on the stage, "E...excuse me Mm...Mr Russell" she blushed bright red and looked down at the floor. "I...I... was wondering i...i..if I might try. I...I'm not that good but... at least I....I can say I tried" she stuttered horribly.
