Thalin looked at the contents of his cup, frowning slightly and swilling the drink around inside. "Since we are all going to the library in the morning, then it is best we all get a good sleep." with that said, he drank the remaining ale from his cup and pushed away from the window frame, placing the empty cup on the ledge for the maids to clear away. He stood and looked down at Morra, pausing, remembering his manners, "... Shall I walk you to your rooms... or are you staying down here longer?" he asked with an eyebrow raised in question.

passing by one of the rooms he caught the scent of the dragon and someone else probably that swordsman he would chat with her in a moment first he needed to get the winged one to a bed walking next store the room was locked seems someone was in there with a simple word in dragon open he spoke the door unlocked entering the one inside a fat clothing merchant of some kind came to his feet "what are you doing" with a dragon like roar and one look of his blood red eyes sent the merchant running and screaming down the hall !

setting the winged one down he spoke get some rest dont worry about anything tonight I'll take care of it he spoke dragging the merchants clothing and other stuff he carried them to another empty room putting them there he closed the door and turned!

Kael blinked in silence for a moment at Blues questions. What DID she enjoy doing?

"Flying. Nothing beats the feeling of flying. One of the worst things about this curse is that I can no longee fly on my own." She gave him a sad smile, eyes turning a soft green. "I miss it. I like protecting my friends, however few they may be. And I enjoy learning new spells...or learning anything really. What annoys me most is" she heard a yell from down the hall and frowned. She could sense Malik but he didn't seem to be in any danger. "The stupid reasons humans, or any race have for hunting Dragons. Dragons don't kidnap virgin princesses or horde mass amounts of treasure.Most Dragons don't attack large amount of people, they usually feed off of a variety of animals. Though obviously there are a few exceptions." Her shoulders slumped and she couldny look Blue in the eyes again. "Dragons scales cannot be used for armour. It becomes like snakeskin once removed from the body. No part of a Dragon can be used for medicinal purposes. And yes eating a Dragons heart will make a mortal immortal but it also rots their mind."

Blue looked down in shame for a moment. The conversation always somehow came back to dragon hunting, and he couldn't deny his guilt at his family's profession. He thought about telling her he knew most of what she was talking about, but he didn't want to make her angry, or to remind her about his family. He decided to respond to the first two answers and attempt to ignore the second.

" I fear you will have to protect your friends from harm very soon and I don't know how this will end, however I will do everything in my power to lift this curse and get you flying again this I can promise you."

after saying this, he walked to the door to inspect what was going on outside. As he opened the door, A large man Blue saw earlier down stairs at the bar, was running away from his room in fear. The man seemed peaceful and kept to himself earlier and Blue didn't know what could throw the man so out of it in the middle of the night. Blue looked back at Kael, as if to tell her he had to check it out.

" Would you like to come with me? " he said as he held out his hand.

He walked to her door he had to speak with her !He had questions for her and she may have the answers that swordsman was in there with her right now !he raised his voice and spoke in the dragon tongue kindred may I speak with the?

Kael was about to answer when she heard a hissing in Dragon Tongue. Confused she frowned. Dragon Tongue was a tricky language to learn and this dialect was unfamiliar to her though she could understand it. Her eyes turned red and she grabbed Blues hand and dragged him to the scent of where she heard the voice.she turned and just outside her door stood the vampire...at least she thought he was a vampire. Why did he know Dragon Tongue?! Her hand gripped Blues tightly.

"Who are you...WHAT are you?"

Blue wasn't sure what was going on, but anything to change Kael's mood from almost peaceful to that form of tense was something Blue wouldn't like to see. He heard a type of familiar hiss, light at first then more of a dull roar until he understood what was spoken. " Kindred may I speak with the?" Why can I understand him, he thought. He didn't reveal this to Kael yet, but he had a hunch that he could understand dragon tongue. If he was right, the dragon that day had to be the reason for it.

Blue's left hand was on his sword, ready to draw even in such a strange position. He didn't know what was going on, but he was ready to do whatever was necessary.

while all this was said the holy symbol had been glowing giving him a layout of the room beyond the door and through his senses he could see in his minds eye what was happening in there!

Blue never stopped looking at the vampire. Tanis still didn't know he understood dragon tongue, and he wanted to keep it that way. He liked being underestimated.

" Oh I knew who you were the moment you introduced yourself. You are a Draco, a druid and a vampire. Do not mistake my age for lack of knowledge or intelligence. Ultimately it is up to the lady weather she would like me to stay or go." He let go of Kael's hand and properly held his sword, not drawn but at the ready, just in case he would need it for events to come. He knew Kael could handle herself, but help in a fight was always appreciated.

Thalin looked up as a merchant nearly tumbled down the stairs, clearly running from something.
He tensed and stepped away from the window, frowning at the disturbance upstairs. "Hm.." he watched the merchant go to the innkeeper, eavesdropping on the conversation.
"It seems our friends are causing a stir upstairs, Morra. I'll go see what it's about."
He took his scythe and headed up the inn stairs.

Kael glared at the wall, eyes still red. She cast her senses out and felt Malik.He seemed fine now..though very tired. Satisfied she tuned back into the situatio.n at hand. She sighed. So troublesome.

"Blue stays, Malik is his friend and ally too so this concerns him as well. Also, no Dragon Tongue, whatever you need to say can be said in common tongue so everyone present can understand you." She walked back into the room and stood by the window,waiting for the other two to join her.

walking into the room Tanis stopped before her before I speak I would have this ones oath not to use this information against any of my kin and to not utter a word what I will tell the to another soul outside of this room for what I will tell the is the hidden origins of the clan of draco !

" I can swear not to tell your secret to anyone, but I can't promise I won't ever use this information if it were to save the life of any of our companions. "

I heard this tale as a boy but in the earliest days when dragons roamed the land we the druid of clan draco before we had our name were friends with dragons we served them as their voice to man from them we learned they the teacher we but students and peace be between us and then man rose up and killed dragons and in their anger dragons stopped trusting in man and in those of my clan but before they left a wise one fell in love with a woman of my clan she in love with him though their time was short before he left her she had become pregnant with child she had him in secret and lived in exile from her kin when he became a man he returned to the clan and won the title of leadership and through him the clan name had been changed to draco he led the clan for many a year and had many children and grandchildren passing down through the generations the trait that I and some of my kin carry a trait hidden in our blood something we have named the dragon soul!

It be transformation of sorts it is said if one is strong enough one could become a dragon in the last several generations
this trait has not manifested more strongly in anyone of the clan then it has in me but the transformation is unstable and I cannot maintain it like the elders of my clan. though I haven't stopped trying I have found other forms more of use to me !

I have wandered this land looking for my kin for thirty years ten years ago I found him The son of the dragon it was only through other dragon kin that I had managed to arrange a meeting with him, but before I could speak with him he was found by a woman dragon slayer and killed the slayer be a part of a known family who hunts dragons ! My clan has a standing blood for blood order ever since !

She looked at Blue.

He said taking his eyes away from Kael and looking at Tanis. "What is this about Malik? " He asked, for they had said it in dragon tongue and he wasn't supposed to understand that language. " If you offered her information about Malik, before she answers your questions, I believe you have to tell us what you meant."

Morra looked at thalin and smiled " how very kind of you but I shall stay down here a bit longer... please rest no need to worry " Morra sat in a near by chair and pulled out a book " I have some more work before I go to bed " Inn keeper brought out a cup of tea

" here you go lass " the man said with a smile

" thankyou very much " Morra pulled the cup over to her and smelled it " Green tea with elderberry.... right? " she asked

the man laughed " your right young lady.. the best tea all around Ebar " he said as he walks away

Morra sat there looking into the cup " so nice"

Malik layed in the bed he tried to rest but he could not. His mind raced about what the lich said he did not understand it at all " did I really murder someone..... " Malik roled over and stretched his wings out, he fell alittle better but somrthing was still off.

Malik was attacked this night by a creature of the undead a lich when he had suddenly left us earlier, because of the way he acted before his departure I had decided to follow when I found him the creature had placed a necklace around his neck and malik was under his spell as I hate the undead and hold a grudge against them for what was done to me that made me like this I have used this power against them to have one of light serve a creature of darkness No that I will not allow! his words had brought forth and aura of light around him that could be plainly seen .


I have broken that spell on him but that creature is still around and I believe it will come after him again as you are his friends you must know something on how such a creature could know him !

Kael blinked Malik wasn't weak, she had sensed a great amount of strength from him. How could a lich overpower him so easily? Then again....what did she really know about this creature she called her friend? Her eyes turned a flat grey; her Dragon friend had been right. She was better off only trusting Dragons. But what about Blue? Her eyes landed on him, catching on his blonde hair and blue eyes. She felt...calm towards him Affectionate even. But did she really need to form ties with other creatures? What if she couldn't protect them? What if something like that Lich got to them again? She would lose them. And gods forbid if her soul ever bonded with another creatures. Dragons could form an unbreakable bod with a creature and what if she had that happen just to lose them?

"I do not know mucb of Malik at all. Perhaps these are questions we should ask him. After all....I'm just a Dragon and.....All I know has to do with Dragons."

Hawk slammed her mug onto the table she was sitting at. "I wish Bobo was here then I could watch as he out drink anyone willing enough to try to beat him, Bobo has beaten most of my crew. Only people he hasn't beaten are myself, Yama, and the cook." Hawk ordered another drink and smiled as she drank it.

"At least someone can try to beat me in an arm wrestling contest"

Malik sat up " I.. I think it my be time.. to come clean about who I really am... But what.. what if... they.. they fear me and what I really am.. " malik sat in bed for a while be fore getting up slow still a bit weak. Malik found a walking cane and headed out the door. " where are they.. Kael, Blue, and Master Tanis... they need to know " walking down the hall he heard voices of the ones that he wished to talk to, he stoped at the door " I do not wish to butt in but we need to talk"

Tanis turned and saw the winged one as he stood at the door!




The giant was almost done he had armor and weapons made the only thing left was a little bit of magic that was needed he would have to find someone closing the blacksmiths shop he headed for the Inn he saw the dragon there maybe she would help him .



Sitting in the lounge Azaur headed for a table where a woman sat while not normally one to talk much he asked may I join you !

Blue could tell what Tanis had said caught Kael off guard as much as it did himself. He saw Malik manhandle three mercenaries like it was child's play earlier that day, so he knew he was a match for a litch. It must have been some sort of fluke or something, Blue thought to himself. But Kael knew the man better, she was concerned or maybe she doubted him, he couldn't tell exactly. Kael's eyes turned gray, a color he hadn't yet seen on her. He put a hand softly on her shoulder. " It will be ok, I’m sure of it." he said with a forced smile.

Tanis then turned to the doorway, looking at the new arrival. Blue turned to the doorway and smiled. " Malik, are you ok? " he said looking at the walking stick in his hands. We were just talking about you, and we have some questions that I believe only you can answer, if you up for it that is?" he asked inquisitively. He helped the man into the room and onto the chair he had recently been sitting on, careful not to sit him on his own wings.
