Azaur and the giant had talked at the inn and had left to head to the blacksmith shop taking a look at the weapons and armor they were of a masters hand all that was needed was the magic to enhance the pieces he might be able to get Kael to put a little magic in them!

Blue quietly walked over to the bench where Kael sat. " Are you alright?" He asked in a concern tone. He knew she was thinking about everything that was happening, and he didn't know how to help her. He thought about it for only a moment before he drew his sword. He slowly put the tip of the sword to the wet grass, and knelt down. Bowing his head, he said " My sword is yours, if ever you need it I will be there." After his vow, he looked back up at Kael. " I don't know what is to come, but I do know that whatever trials you will have to face, I will be right there battling beside you."

His action shocked her. She wasn't used to someone wanting to stay. Kael stared at his open mouthed when she felt a wetness on her cheek. Bringing a hand to her face she scoffed at the tear. She cleared her throat and looked back at Blue.

"Thank you Blue. I....do not know how to repay you for all this but when everything is over I will find a way." Her eyes were a soft purple and she smiled at him. "You are a strange human. Tell me, how do you suppose we might find and wake the High Dragons? I've been wondering but Icant figure it out..." She patted the bench indicating he should sit next toher sothey could talk quietly enough that passing ears wouldn't hear them.

Hawk left the for a few minutes then came back wearing clothing that didn't make her look like a pirate anymore or smelled like ale "Much better" Hawk walked out of the inn and leaned against the doorway "I will just wait here for the others" Bobo jumped onto Hawk's shoulder "Bobo did you leave Yama by himself again?" Bobo smiled "Bobo what did I tell you about leaving Yama by himself, bad things happen when he is left alone."

Yama looked around "Where did Bobo go? That monkey is going to be the end of me." Yama continued down the road and heard a scream somewhere ahead of him "That doesn't sound good" A human female was running down the road towards Yama and a black creature was chasing her. Yama without knowing what he was doing he started to ride towards the lady and the creature, he got off the horse in front of the lady and helped her get on "Get out of here that creature is my problem now" The lady without saying a thank you started to ride the direction Yama came from.

The creature stopped in front of Yama and smiled showing sharp pointy teeth. "I made a horrible mistake you are a demon aren't you?" The creature stood up removing a spiked mace from its back "Of all the things to happen I have to a fight a demon with a spiked mace!" The demon swung its mace hitting Yama in the chest sending him flying a few feet. As Yama stood up he coughed up blood "Damn" Yama dodged the next attack from the demon and started to run towards Ebar the demon put the mace back into its back and started to chase Yama.

After what seemed like forever Yama stopped close to the walls of Ebar breathing heavily "Did I lose the demon?" Yama looked around holding his side and his hand covered in blood. The demon started to sneak up on Yama trying to not make a noise and get an easy kill then it looked up into the sky and say a small dragon.

"I will finish you off later" The demon knocked Yama out and turned invisible walking into the city towards where it saw the dragon

Tanis was coming awake something had changed he could feel a darkness in the city something had come here!


but help had come as well he could feel them seven powerful presences had converged on the inn he felt protected the dragons blood inside him must have given him something, the vampire nature had saved him again the transformation would have killed any elder who had gone through it but he had survived it the elders had only achieved partial transformations with some either becoming savages who could not return to human form or those who could transform at will!

Malik stood up " I shall leave you now rest up " he said before leaving the room, he slowly closed the door. In a moment an dark aura filled the air " everyone thier is something.... odd close " he said telling the little people people that is still around the inn " their seems to be... some of us missing around here" Malik said looking at morra

" well I go find them " she said walking out the door

" Be safe young one" malik said as the door closed

Morra pick up a pace that she felt was best ofr the up coming darkness. " where are you " she said looking in every place she could think of untill she found them both, she stood far enough away not to be seen by them " I should not butt in.... "

Blue accepted her offer and sat down on the bench. He had heard many stories on how to kill, hurt, or maim dragons, but very few on how to do any of that to High Dragons. High Dragons were very hard to confront. They lived long lives, and they were very powerful creatures. The only thing he knew of to effect a High Dragon was if a very powerful mage used a sacrificial spell. It would take sacrifices and turn them into monsters, and the only way to stop the effect was to kill the monsters. Blue told Kael everything he knew about that subject, and he wasn't happy about sharing that he knew so much about dragon hunting. He never took part, but it was the family business and he was close to certain members of his family.

The fire giant had been the first to hear the call and was the first to make his way toward the city now he stood at the door of the inn the entire bloodline was on the move no longer were they hiding in shadow they were moving out in force he had received a message a little while after dawn the high dragons were falling clan draco had already found evidence of someone using a powerful spell to put them to sleep now all the known dragons movements were being tracked and clan draco was moving through the areas the many sub branches were organizing all manner of races each half breeds results of the breeding programs that been going on for generations all carrying the blood of draco whatever tanis had done all carrying the dragons blood of clan draco within their veins had awoken their dragon soul !

when the blood had awoken in him he had felt a surge of power his fire elemental magic had become stronger than it had before !

Thalin staggered back to the inn just before the sun began to light the sky. He was far more wasted than he'd realised. He crashed a shoulder into the side of a building, resting on the corner, forehead pressing on the cold stone.
Inside his head, an ocean rolled and churned, his consciousness felt like a tiny boat, getting tossed and thrown around like a toy. He fisted a hand in his hair, groaning against the stone wall, the world wobbling and wavering around his feet. He waited like that for a long time, inhaling the city scents, deep and slow.
He'd eaten, thank Luck, which softened the drunkenness a substantial amount. His legs shivered with the strain and he was convinced he would eventually die from liver failure.. or something like that, whatever the healers had harped on about last time he'd been dragged, sometimes unconscious, to see them.
Thalin rolled off the wall, trying to make a straight line for the inn, but the world began to tilt, forcing him to over compensate his balance and he swerved off. He stopped short as a figure swam into focus, what the bloody heavens... Thalin squinted at the huge creature before him... a giant, of some kind.
He wasn't given another chance to think, his leg spasmed and he fell to one knee, holding onto the floor as the world spinned and dimmed.
"Oh fffforrr-" he shlurred, feeling sick and queezy. "-sssnot Luck, thiss... iss ... realllly... loaded dice.."
Thalin stared at the ground, on his hands and knees, a pressure pounding the insides of his skull. Let Luck be with him, let Chance dictate that the giant was friendly and, oh please Gods, may they not let anyone attack him, for Mercy be with them if they tried.....

The fire giant saw the drunk stumble in he was an elf looked like he could handle himself though he was a large for most elves were not as tall but he was an elf the giant picked him up thinking better not leave him in the walkway but needed to put him somewhere out of the way setting him against a wall where he could watch the elf while not friendly by any sort normally he would just toss the drunk into the nearest water hole but standing guard was more important right now!

"Lets get you in a bed," said Ved as he had Zero pick up the drunken man,completely ignoring the giant before him. "Must be your lucky day really, I was looking for an inn but not a drunk!" he said with a laugh as they entered the in. "Does this belong to anyone." he yells pointing to the drunk.

Kael bit her lip and was about to respond when she realised someone was watching them.

"Blue. The librarian is behind us. Maybe...she might know something?" She smiled at Blue.

Tanis had finally gotten up his armor was alright checking everything he moved to the door opening it he proceeded down the hall to the stairs moving with a silent step he headed down the stairs there sitting in the center of the room was the drow and the sun elf in the corner near the door was the half orc greeting them in the silence there they moved to embrace each other as kin they began to talk in dragon with each other !

The drow its good to see you tanis but you know why we are here !

Tanis yes i have found a kindred here she needs help there is also something dark in the city !

the drow yes we sensed it when we got here all the kin are on the move the two masters are sticking together and are giving us intell on the movements of the kindred we are chasing down any rumors or leads we pickup

tanis what about the elders what are they saying ?

the drow right now they are saying you are t0o important to be left to wander !

the drow yeah we also heard from your pet though we didnt get much you left it there to guard her !

Blue didn't even notice the librarian, he had to start paying attention. This long without sleep seemed to hurt his concentration and he couldn't do so well without that. He would have to power through the day and sleep when they camped on the journey to wherever they went. " Yeah, lets go ask her!" Blue replied to Kael as they both got up and walked in her direction. They walked over to Morra to ask what she knew about what could put High Dragons to sleep, and if she knew anything about sacrifices.

" Well the olos lillies would put just about anything to sleep.. but I'm not sure if it would put a elder dragon.. mybe a very high dose of the flowers pollen could do the trick.. but it rare and I mean very rare " she took a step back and leaned on a near by tree " now about the sacrifices .... wel they could have to do with a control spell of some sort or a summoning spell.. but I'm not sure an that" Morra smiled " I think we'er being watched right now.... 5 or 6 men hidden around here if I'm not mistaken "

the three had spread out and when one of them had detected a small group of armed men surrounding a group of three people they had decided to take action two women and a knight the knight looked like he could handle himself one of the women looked to be a magic user !


when the armed men made their move thats when the three made theirs the order of dark justice had trained them to be the best all three carried the blood of draco so trust wasnt an issue the three moved in swift order killing all but one of the attackers they would question him first though the three were of different races they worked together as a unit !

Thalin suffered being passed around like baggage, too out of it to give much of a damn, he wasn't being threatened, so he didn't fight.
He found himself, when his consciousness re-surfaced, kneeling on the inn's floor, being held firmly by someones strong grip.
"...I told you," he said to the person holding him up, "Luck has a shine for me.. I told her, I sssaid.. ...lend a hand.. and by Chance.. you appeared ...to get me inside.. I really did want to be inside..." Thalin rolled his head back to look up at the person holding him, though his eyes wouldn't focus on the face. "Wha..ss you said your name wass?"

"Names Ved" he said with an invisible hat tip, "I remember when i had my first drink, couldn't stand for a week. Guess that's what happens when you try to ride a griffin drunk or was it a giant? oh well... hey inn keep you have any open rooms for my friend here?" The innkeeper nods and hands Ved a key. Ved drags the man upstairs and puts him on the bed. "You rest up now, ill introduce myself again when your sobered up i have some things to ask you."

Kael shivered slightly, glaring at the ones disturbing the peace. They smelled strange to her and kept to the shadows. Not good company. Turning back to Blue she frowned.

"This is no longer a peaceful and calm place. I'm heading back to the inn. Follow if you wish." With that she headed back the direction she had come.

He didn't need to be asked twice. Blue followed Kael and Morra back to the inn, he wasn't sure he liked their new company either, something about them unsettled him. Why had they intervened back there, Blue wasn't complaining but in this world nothing was free and nobody did anything without reason.

The 3 had ? the other armed man they had been payed to attack the young girl following that they killed him now they were on their way back to the inn though staying to the shadows they had provided the 3 with an escort !

there at the inn tanis and the drow were still talking the half orc had moved to be just next to the door anyone coming in would see him and with the fire giant guarding the entrance they should be pretty well secured .


while their kin in the order of dark justice were staying in the shadows they wont disobey an order from the elders protect tanis and give what support he needs and watch the area around him !

Hawk watched the streets start to clear out. "Something doesn't feel right" Hawk looked around for any signs of trouble and couldn't find any. "Something is wrong and I know it but I can't tell what it is" Hawk walked into the street looking around and walks into Kael, Sir Blue, and Morra. "Sorry about that but something is wrong and I can't figure out what it is" Bobo started to shiver then hide in Hawks pocket. "What could be wrong?"

Blue looked around again after he heard Hawk's suspicion. He thought it was just his imagination earlier when he felt he was being watched, and it wasn't just the three guards (or whatever they were) at his back. It couldn't just be a coincidence if Hawk felt it too.
" Maybe we should check it out, or do you think we should head to the safety of the tavern?" He asked to the whole group.
