Physical Description
The first thing people often notice when it comes to Sophie is the fact that she's in a wheelchair, it's not part of her actual appearance but Sophie knows it's the only thing people see when they meet her. But sometimes it does feel like that metal chair is a part of her since she's been in it for so long. But sometimes Sophie believes she's pretty, her hair is long and silky smooth. She usually has it in a high ponytail. Deep brown eyes and smooth skin, perfect eyebrows. That count's for anything right? She's not a fan of makeup though so don't expect her to wear it. At other times she thinks she looks like a huge lump of ugliness, she can't sport cute dresses like other girls can or show of her curves or long legs. At least not like other girls can. That makes her sad sometimes, but most of the time she feels fine.
"I don't have time to feel sad because of all the bad things that has happened to me before and to be honest I don't see any point in thinking about it. Feeling sorry for myself doesn't make anything better or help me at all."
Personality
Headstrong | Clever | Dreamy | Talkative | Bold
Let’s get one thing clear Sophie don’t like other’s pitying her. It’s one of the things that annoys her the most, she don’t like it when people look down upon her because that’s the last thing she needs. People talking with that sickly sweet voice and those eyes, just thinking about it gives Sophie the creeps. When people act like that she will get angry, she don’t tolerate such treatments. Because to be honest those people have no reason to pity her, Sophie is more likely to get further in life than those who does that to her. Sophie is not weak or stupid, to be honest Sophie has always been brilliant. She has the drive and the ability to get to high places. She knows what she wants and she will get it, she has all the things she needs. The brain, she’s a natural when it comes to talking and she’s not afraid of failure. She knows that life can turn for the worse and that you always should be prepared for a punch or two, if you can’t stand failure there is no need to try in her opinion. Because bad luck or loses only makes you stronger.

"I don't want to talk about Simon."
History
Sophie has a twin brother, she's the younger one of them but it's only a matter of minutes. They've been together ever since, always in the same class and almost at the same table in the classroom as well. They've been glued to each other, Simon's friends were Sophie’s friends and the other way around as well. It's not that strange that Sophie became codependent and couldn't function without him there. They were both active, Simon enjoyed ice hockey while Sophie did competitive dancing while she were young.
Sophie were brilliant in her own sort of way, she were the smarter one of her and Simon but even if she were smart she was not good in school. Simply because she were under stimulated at school, she never felt challenged and therefor never cared about it. She had so many other ideas inside her mind, so many things she wanted to do or create. She needed challenges to enjoy herself and school were not giving her that. The only thing that were fun in school were her brother since he were the class clown - she enjoyed helping him with his homework as well because she preferred teaching before learning.
As you may have guessed - Sophie wasn't born disabled. It all happened when she was 15 years old and her father were driving her home from dance practice. It was a late winter night, it had been snowing all day and it were still snowing when they were driving through town. You couldn't see much because of the lack of light and all the small snowflakes in the sky, her father did something stupid. He didn't stop at a stop sign since he couldn't see that someone were driving down the road. It was huge news at that point in time since Sophie ended up in coma and the one who had been driving was a police officer. He didn't lose his job but people were mad.
Sophie didn't stay in the coma for long, she woke up after a month. But she received the bad news that there were a slim chance that she would be walking again, even if the news crushed her she didn't let that keep her down. She tried and tried again, she really worked so hard in an attempt to regain her body but it was to no avail. After two years she gave up and accepted her fate. She thought long and hard on what to do with her life now and decided to put all of energy into getting a good grades and figuring out how to live her life without the help from others all of the time.
With the help of her brother she got stronger and even if she accepted his help she now knew that she could get by even without him. Things turned around and Sophie finished school early, she had decided on what to do next - she wanted to become a doctor. But things didn't turn out that way, people didn't know what happened at first. Sophie didn't know either. She only noticed how her brother's personality started to change, he became violent and distant. He were so different from his warm and friendly self, then suddenly one day he just never woke up again.
After that the news hit the whole city, they were infected by a disease and would be quarantined.
