When he finally found his way off the boat, he scanned all the creatures around him including his own kind. Then his eyes found the mouth watering smell of human he the air. He took as much of it in as he could, before he had to stall his hunger and carry on in life. He directed his attention toward the place he was going to stay at. And he had just realized that their was no escaping this place for him. It was completely surrounded by salt water. "Can't be helped." he muttered. And he tried not to close to the sweaty crowds, with their suffocating aroma. To distract him he started playing with his bag, opening and closing it over and over.

Maria giggled and nodded. "I'm a little worried about going to a school where demons are allowed, but I think Ill be alright. there are soldiers of god with me." she nudges him playfully. She sets Dante's cross on the table and yawns. "I put my bible in my bag, so I haven't had any mana since this morning... is the tea here any good...?"
"Look! Everyone else is docked!"
The boy had just remembered that his luggage was on the ferry including his heirloom and other things that he considered useful, "Wait a minute," he said to the girl and went up to the ferry to get his things, when he came back was carrying a heavy wooden trunk, or at least would be heavy for a normal person, he also had on his back a black spear "Almost everyone left this place, where should we go?"
"I'll stay here, bring in any stray children. Do be careful." he said, ruffling her hair making her huff. "I'll see you at the Academy." And with that he moved back to the ferry, ushering kids off. Selvaggia nods and takes Tye by his empty hand and began to drag them through the crowds of people. She passed people before they popped out of the crowds.
"Ugh... Too many smells... My poor nose..." she whined, holding her nose. The tip of her rapier continued to dig into the ground. She sighed and looked it over. It needed a new sheath.
"Would you like to see a picture?" The woman said reaching into her purse and pulling out her wallet pulling out the picture of her daughter, and before truly thinking about what she was doing stuck it out for him to see. Advar could not help the chuckles that escaped his chest, "Oh yes, she has your eyes." He quipped. He could not see her, but the woman was bright red with embarrassment realizing what she had done, "Oh, that was so dumb. I am sorry about that." Advar held up his free hand, "It alright, it happens more often then you would think." Well, he was just being polite, honestly, this was the first time that had happened. Although he had been invited to watch a movie once which was kind of funny.
The woman fell into an embarrassed silence as she walked out the doors and into the courtyard with the soft sound of a cane tapping against the concrete behind her. 54...55...56 The numbers counted off in his head. This was going to be a long first few months.
She smiled in their direction and burnt her tongue, neglecting to blow on the warm liquid. She put the cup down and frowned.
She would have cussed, but the boy was an angel.
Veda got up and walked over to their table.
"Hello. I apologize for interrupting - I heard you were going to Surepath?" She hesitated, speaking with some confidence.
Veda smiled a small smile and weaved her fingers together behind her back. She shifted around nervously.

He was brought back to reality when the boy introduced himself as William Wyatt. Ethan took a second to note the catchy, if not uncanny, alliteration of the guy's name. He recoiled ever so slightly when William smiled and his lips caught on fire, then grew back. It was more from surprise than fear, and Ethan for the life of him couldn't hazard a guess on what myth class William was.
It's definitely something of American origin, seeing as he has a southern accent, but if he was something undead or immortal he could have moved from anywhere and then learned to fake an accent... Ethan realized he was forgetting his manners again and that he need to answer the strange boy's question, "Oh, I'm just a regular human. But I'm curious, what myth class are you?"
Selvaggia blinked. "You'd carry me..?" she slowly began to grin. She pulled her rapier out from her belt and pointed it at the air. "That's awesome! Let's do it!" she took a long piece of kelp and wrapped it around the tip of the silver heirloom. She didn't want to stab Tye and hurt him, even through all of his armor. The poison was be dangerous, even the toe god-child.
She slid the sword back into her belt and looked at Tye. "I'll need your help getting up there..." She muttered, seeing as she was a bit shorter than he was. She had never ridden on anyone before. She always carried someone else on her back. This would be new for her.
Veda was kind of a scatterbrain, she hated that about herself. She would have preferred to have a photographic memory.
No, just not when it comes to bad memories.
After Veda spoke, she noticed another boy taking her table. She should have stayed there with her warm cup of coffee.
Now her coffee stood alone on the table where the new boy sat.
Veda clenched her teeth and fidgeted.
