Aria caught Jin in time ignoring her shoulder. Moro called the pack healer as Aria sunk to the deck with Jin in her arms. Jovi ran off for Jin's doctor. Aria touched Jin's forehead, it was burning up.
"Oh, Jin." She murmured smoothing back his hair. She looked up when the old healer appeared. "Yulma."
"Child, let me see him." Aria obeyed and while Yulma worked her mother treated her shoulder.
"you have grown Aria."
"yes, i have. An old shaman saved me and out me on the right path. Now i have a pack of my own." Aria looked at Jin then at the others huddled at the rail. When her mother had finished Aria looked at Yulma. "Will he be alright?"
"He must have some of this medicine by mouth." The old woman laughed, "You do it child, i doubt the pup would what and old wolf to do it." Aria nodded and took a swing of the medicine Yulma gave her then put her mouth to Jin's. He swallowed the medicine. Aria hugged her pack one last time.
"You will always be with me, may the Lady keep you all safe."
"You may pass through my domain when ever you need to and know that we will always welcome you here." Moro hugged her then watched her gather Jin up in her arms and leap onto Jin's ship. With a final wave her pack sailed away to rejoin the others at their floating village. Aria howled after them before carrying Jin to his room. After depositing him gently on the bed she herded the others off to bed ti sleep off the night's excitement and in Mlu's and Jovi's case the sake. Changing out of her bloodied clothes into a knee length night shirt aria returned to Jin's room to find him in bed and a chair suddenly by the bed.
"I think there are some match makers on this boat." She muttered sitting down and taking Jin's hand. Aria began to hum a lullaby until she became too tired to keep her eyes open and placed her head on the bed sound asleep.

Jin woke up the next morning. "Ugh..." Jin said. He woke up with a headache. He sat up slowly, and looked around. He was in his room, and he noticed Aria asleep right next to him. What happened? Jin thought to himself. Well, it's probably best not to wake her up. Jin laid back down and tried to go to sleep, but his headache bothered him too much. After a while, his head started to hurt worse. He tried to get up and off his bed, but his legs felt too weak. He nudged Aria, but she didn't wake up. He nudged aria again. "Aria... hey, Aria..."

(tired... can't think of anything good to post)

"Hmm?" Aria raised her head with a yawn. "Oh, you're awake. That's good." She touched his forehead. "No fever," She picked up a clay jar and handed it to him. "This is a Pack medicine that heals headaches, weakness and anything short of broken bones and cuts." She rose stretching from her chair. "Oh, yeas, I forgot." She took it back and took a mouthful. She had him sit up then put her mouth to his again and passed the medicine to him.
"Wolf medicine has to be given mouth to mouth when the patient isn't part wolf. I'll go check on the others so get some rest. And next time mind how much you drink." With that she trotted off ready to test Annastrianna with her knives and work with Jovi on his translations.

Jin was taken by surprise by the method of which he needed to have the medicine, but he had no arguement to it. He thanked Aria before she left, then started thinking about what had happened. She said mind how much he drank, but he really hadn't had more than 1 small glass of wine, which he could easily hold down. If it wasn't the wine that did it, what did? He thought to himself. Those thoughts aside, he stood up carefully, but he didn't have to be so cautious. The medicine was already working, healing him quicker than he assumed it would have. He got up and stretched for a minute, then changed into some fresh clothes. No sooner than that, he heard a familiar beeping. He picked up the flashing device off of the table he had placed it on, and ran off to tend to another passenger.

"Okay, Annastrianna, you are doing well. It's good to see that you have kept up with your knives." Aria praised sheathing her knives and patting her on the shoulder. She put her hand to her own shoulder feeling it ache in pain from her father's teeth. "Alright so now that you have the basics down it time to expand your knowledge. Raiders tend to favor longer blades like swords, lances and axes. So you'll need to learn how to deal with such things."

Annastrianna nodded, and put her own knives away. She tilted her head to one side curiously. "...Maybe we should work on that another time...it looks like it still hurts..." she said, watching her hand move to her shoulder. She was sure that would be hurting for a while. "...Maybe we can work on it when you're feeling better..." she suggested, unsure if Aria would listen to her or not. "i'll keep practicing until you are well enough again, though..."

A few weeks later,
Aria relaxed her tense muscles laying sprawled out on the deck in her wolf form while Annastrianna cared for her knives and Jovi was reciting the names of things in tribal to her. Mlu was tucked away somewhere and Aria had only seen glimpses of Jin. Most of her time had been devoted to teaching and sailing around to keep in practice and even stopped a few raids.
Jovi's barefoot started rubbing her belly making her leg twitch. Their time together was always blissful some how even though he was still as clumsy as a newborn.
"So, what's next Aria?" he asked not pausing in his scratching. She looked at him with a woeful whine,
"Can't we relax? Everyone needs a day off." She nodded at the rushing around Jin answering every call. "Him of all people, he's going to get another fever."

After much time of having to do so many things, coordinate activities, set things up, and basically no breaks, Jin was exhausted, but finally had some time to kill. So, obviously, he was going to go spend it with Aria. He walked over to where Aria was, and dropped into a nearby chair, panting. He sat for awhile before saying, "Hi, Aria. Hi, Jovi. How's it been going?"

(I couldn't come up with anything else)

"Nothing much, you probably did more today then i did this whole week. Both my students are doing well so now all i want is to lay here were it's warm." She closed her eyes with pleasure as Jovi leaned down and scratched behind her ears the way she liked it. "How are you feeling? Need anymore medicine?"

Jin relaxed, leaning back in his chair. "I'm feeling fine, so I probably don't need more medicine." Jin said. The truth was that he really wasn't feeling so great, but he wasn't exactly feeling bad either. Jin heard that familiar beeping, he sighed, and pulled the device from his pocket. He looked at it, then got up and turned to leave.

Aria transformed to put a kind hand on his arm. "Be careful, Jin, overworking yourself doesn't help anybody." She pressed a small bottle into his hand and kissed his forehead. Jovi turned a little shade of pink. Aria went back to him grinning and kissed his fore head too. He turned bright red. It was a good day.

that night

Aria woke with a start as she tumbled out of her bunk on her boat on to the floor. The floor lurched under her and she scrambled to her feet. the normally calm night wind and ocean was now at hurricane stage with rain that whipped at her face. Her boat shook and was starting to detached from it's place. Cursing Aria, an experienced sailor, jumped to the deck. She pulled on the ropes using all her muscle to pull the boat closer.
"Aria!" Jovi was running at her from the doorway of the ship's library. He unlike her was not surefooted on the heaving deck.
"No! Jovi! Go back! GO back!" Aria screamed at him tying the boat as quickly as she could. The ship lurched and in what seemed like in slow motion a wave came over a side and swept him over the other side. "JOVI!!!"
Aria released the rope she was holding and dived in after him, please let me get him... she prayed as she hit the water. Aria caught hold on Jovi as he struggled. She pulled him towards the surface but was buffered by the raging water, she put her mouth to his giving him air. when she finally broke the surface he gasped but then passed out.
Aria tried to fight the water but it carried them further and further away from Jin's boat until it was lost from view.

Jin had seen the whole scene, but was too far down the deck to help. All he could do was jump into the water. Jin swam as fast as he could, but he wasn't quick enough. The current was carrying them away. Luckily, his crew had already deployed a rescue ship, which was now speeding towards Jin. It got to him and he quickly climbed on, then it took off in the direction where Aria and Jovi had been carried off.

Jin stood at the very tip of the ship, calling out, "ARIA!!! ARIA, WHERE ARE YOU??" He was more scared now than he had ever been in his entire life. "ARIA!! ARIA!!!" He continued to call out. Please be alive.. please... Jin thought to himself. Jin spotted something a distance away, and on closer inspection, it was... Aria and Jovi!, "THERE! RIGHT THERE!" He shouted to the driver, pointing. Jovi was unconcious, and Aria looked like she couldn't hold on much longer, so he dove in after her.

Jin swam as quickly as he could over to Aria, and grabbed her and hauled her up onto his back, making sure she didn't lose her grip on Jovi. He swam over to the rescue ship, barely able to keep his head above the water. He finally got her onto the rescue ship, making sure they were both fully on the ship. He brought them under the shelter, and made sure they were both OK. Jovi seemed to be unconcious still, but they were both OK. That's what mattered.

After they got back to the ship, the storm had calmed down some, so he helped Jovi and Aria back to their cabins. Immediately after getting Aria back to her cabin, Jin began to feel awful. Not awful mentally, but physically. He felt nautious, and got very dizzy. His vision was so blurred just like before, and he passed out before he could even get out Aria's cabin door. This was probably the result of not taking the medicine, overworking himself, and stress.

"Jin!" Aria forced her self to rise from the bed. She turned him over scrambling for a pulse, it was weak. "Hang on brother, I knew you were over working yourself!" She reached for her herb sack and made a stronger medicine for him. "This will make you rest, if nothing else will." She transferred it to him then dragged him to the bed. Feeling too tired to do more she laid with him pressing against his warm body and felt or at least thought she felt his arm automatically go around her in his sleep. The fight for Jovi had weakened her so she closed her eyes and fell deeply asleep.

Aria woke slowly almost confused. There was the sound of steady breathing under her ear and she was comfortable. It came back to her in a rush and she sat up quickly her beads clinking together. Jin moved a little but was still fast asleep. Fishing a hand into his pocket she took out the beeping device.
"Rest today, Jin." She got off the bed and padded out closing the door behind her. "Pass on the word that no one is to disturb him today with work." She told the crew firmly then Trotted off to find Jovi and Annastrianna.

Annastrianna had her knives out, and was practicing. Everything that had happened was a little odd; at least, she wasn't used to such sudden storms...but then, she usually slept through them, only waking up when they had thrown her into the water. She shook off those thoughts, and focused again on trying to practice with her knives.

"There you are, Annastrianna, good form." Aria praised coming into the workout area. "You are quite skilled now."

Jin woke up slowly, wondering what had happened. He looked around, noticing that he was in Aria's cabin, not his own. Jeez, what happened? I remember being in here, but then I blacked out... He thought to himself. He reached into his pocket, only to find that the device was missing. He thought about getting up, but he was very tired for a reason unknown to him, so he laid back down, and fell asleep. He just hoped nobody would walk in and get the wrong idea.

Aria ate breakfast with Annastrianna and Mlu thinking about nothing in particular as she played with Jin's device thoughtfully. She sent a crew member off with a tray for Jin and one for Jovi. Jin's device kept beeping and flashing in her hand making her vaguely fantasize smashing it.
"Um, miss Aria, this is for you." the crewman she had sent off with the trays tapped her shoulder and handed over a letter.
"It's from Jovi. 'Meet me on the top deck at Moon rise.' That's secretive. Oh well, come on, Anna' time for your lesson."

Jin woke as someone came in the door, carrying a tray with some breakfast items on it. Jin sat up and accepted the tray, thanked the crew member carrying it, and happily enjoyed it after the crew member walked out of the room. He stood up and exited Aria's cabin, headed to his own cabin. When he got there, he changed into fresh clothes, then went to take a walk around the upper deck, and maybe take a swim in the pool or something.

Aria pulled herself out of the pool when she saw Jin coming with a flip of her wet hair,
"Hey Annastrianna, looks who's up." Aria grinned at him. "Feeling better, brother? I gave you a stronger medicine to make you sleep. It can last longer than intended. By the way...do you remember anything after you, um, came into my cabin?" Aria fought down a blush with her ears down giving her away, she wasn't even sure what she did when she was so tired.

"Yeah, I am feeling better. Thanks for the medicine." Jin said. "And, I don't really remember anything after I was in your cabin." Jin said, wondering why she was acting the way she did. What did I miss when I was unconcious? He thought to himself. He stared at her confusedly for a moment, before going to change into his swimming trunks. He ran out in black swimming trunks and jumped into the pool, surfacing and swimming around a bit.

Annastrianna watched Jin walk by, and Aria talking to him. She noticed a slight embarrassment on Aria's part, which confused her. And, apparently, confused Jin, as well. She sat on the edge of the pool, only her legs in the water. It was nice to jus sit there. Jin left, and she debated asking Aria about it. But then Jin had come back, and she knew she'd have to wait a little longer before she could ask Aria about it. She wasn't about to ask in front of Jin; that seemed to be a small part of the problem, anyway.

phew. Aria thought then went under the water after Jin's foot. She tickled it then sped away laughing inside until her head broke the surface. She dived again and swam just along the bottom of the pool, not even near drowning could keep her out of the water. When it was lunch Aria asked the crew to bring the food to the tables that were pool side.
"You know Jin, i finally understand how you could overwork so much. This thing doesn't quit." Aria held up the device which was flashing again. "From now on you need to be careful."
