~Asher~

I huffed, right, Jeremy equals no enchanting. Just my luck.
“You would think that after living for so long that you would have learned how to at some point.” I mumbled to my self. I found the place I was looking for down-town and parked my car quickly. I pointed to the very expensive tailors “I am going to go in there. I will be getting a suit. If you want to come in so that I can buy you one so that we can get it enchanted before this ball please do fallow.” I got out of the car “Oh, and we will be going straight back to the apartment after this stop, we can get the enchanter to come to the apartment.” I slammed the car door. I sure as hell hoped that the car was worth this stupid ball, I hated politics.

~Finn~

I decided fresh air might do me some good stepped out onto my balcony. The view of the city was like nothing I had ever seen before in my life, but that didn’t say much seeing as that I have only ever seen the little my uncle would let me see, so this was a opportunity that I could never pass up. I took a deep breath, the air smelt different here, but that was okay. I looked over to my left and just about jumped out of my skin, their was a young girl, or perhaps she looked young, but was quite older. Many races from Olympia were like this. This girl wore a baggy red hoody and had striking white hair, I couldn’t see her eyes. I took a breath for the sake of picking up her sent. She as a demon, I smiled.
“Hello! It seams like we are neighbours, my name is Finn, what is yours?” I asked cheerfully. Perhaps she was friendly.

"Apologies, sir, enchanting is light magic. One cannot yield light magic, only dark/necromancy." Jeremy added as the car came to a stop, "It would be best if one joined thee, thou would probably get a wrong size." He added as he followed.

Jeremy had always hated clothing which was tight fitting or didn't cover the whole body. Which is why he sticks to his robes, they are loose and cover everything, even his face. Well, that and the robes were enchanted to control his unstable neutral magic energy, back when he was alive. Now, it simply controls the unstable dark magic energy while also acting as protection with the ability to conduct regeneration spells to keep the body intact. His limbs are already being held together by magic, without enchanted clothing, his limbs would fall off. It won't be long until Jeremy will reach the end of his lifespan...

Myra

Myra finished her makeup and smiled to herself. Tonight was going to be fun. Fun and beneficial. Her gown was a bright white with a revealing slit in the skirt. Though she was curvy, she wore no undergarments, as the fabric hung on her body loosely. Golden fabric wrap around the side of her arms while a corseted back kept the dress from falling. Her shoes were golden with straps that tied around her thighs. After pulling the curlers from her hair, she slid down the staircase to see her girls. Each sparkled with a different magnificence. Each was attractive in their own way, and each attractive her own clientele. Myra was proud of the business she created. At a younger age, no one thought she could accomplish much, but Myra showed differently. As she approached the end of the line, Lana appeared. The girl had transformed into a woman. Myra was pleased. Maybe, just maybe, the girl could stay.

Lana

Everything was moving so fast. Nails, hair, dress, shoes, more mascara, less blush. Lana thought she might go crazy, but just like that, it was silent again. This was it. Lana was going to have a job, this one temporarily, and she was going to make big bucks. As she strutted into line, Lana began to feel nervous again. She didn't know how to attract men, well not naturally anyway, nor did she know if she was any good at it. As Myra came to her, she held her breath. Lana needed her opinion, and a good one. As Myra placed a finger to her liips, Lana sighed. "Welcome Lana." With just two words, Lana was in. She had the job and was ready for the night. Myra shouted at the girls, telling them that the limo had arrived, and they were away.

~Asher~

"I HATE PEOPLE!" I yelled as I slammed open the balcony door to my apartment, I left it open for Jeremy to come in after me, If not for Jeremy still being in the car I would have slammed it shut behind me. After all that hassle I had a very nice, and expensive, suit and Jeremy... he had nothing! Stupid people just don't know how to make a suit for a undead human that has been around a century or more! I cursed under my breath and stormed into my room new suit in hand. Putting my suit on was a pain, but just like any suit designed or made like that from the merkingdom, I actuality knew how to put it on.
Image
I had taken some of my anger out on the suit as I put it on, I was careful not to damage it, I didn't need to go back out and buy a new one. I adjusted the suit once more in my reflection once more. I was glad I was so picky with the suit while I was in the shop, I didn't look that bad now. I left my room and flopped onto the couch much less frustrated. I could really use a drink, but it was almost time for that stupid ball and I most likely had to drive. All well they would have alcohol there no doubt.

-Gabriel-

Gabriel damn near jumped out of her skin when she heard the voice call out from the other balcony. She turned and saw a Pooka. Gabriel began sizing them up rather quickly from her experiences as an ambassador. At first glance one might mistaken him for a girl, but the way he holds himself is gives it away. As Gabriel was processing all the details of this strange person two things came very apparent. First was the way he held himself. His stance suggested he was well trained in combat, leaving no openings. Anyone who had any sort of combat training would spot this. Second thing she noticed was his earring which marked him as the strongest fighter in his clan.

It took all of gabriel's will from bolting at the very moment she made eye contact with the pooka. She oh so desperately wanted to but if he was going to be at the ball this moment was very crucial. She carefully formed her words as she prepared to exit. "Hello there. Are you by chance going to the mayor's ball? If you are then it may be that we'll see each other again. I'm afraid I am still preparing to go so I must bid you adieu." No sooner did she finished saying this did she head towards the door to her apartment. As she entered she called out to Cerise. "I hope you picked out the dress, I got to leave, soon!"
Cerise walked out of Gabriel's room as she heard this, giving a puzzled reaction. "What do you mean soon? You don't have to be ready for another hour." Exasperated Gabriel hurriedly explained what happened. "Now hurry up and tell me if everything is ready!" she ended up barking out as got even more and more anxious to avoid a longer conversation with the pooka next door.

"All right. The dress is laid out on the bed. I'll get the vehicle ready and meet you out on the balcony."
Gabriel gave a sigh of relief as Cerise left and entered her room. The dress was a pale red, almost pink. It wasn't all that flashy and kept everything modest. Long sleeves that went to the wrists and a full skirt that went to her ankles. If Gabriel didn't like wearing finery she probably would end up wearing dresses like this more often. She approached the bed and started to change into the dress.

-Alaena-

Alaena reached out and knocked on Asher's door. "Asher Williams? this is officer Jones and my partner officer Smith. We are to be your escorts to the ball." Alaena really didn't like this part of her job and would prefer it if she was sent straight to the ball and did security detail. But her boss did a mass of budget cuts and dropped quite a few officers in the process leaving a lot of people on extra shift work.
John looked down the hall and muttered. "Weren't their two other guests in this building?" Alaena smirked a little at her partners comment. "I did some background checking on those two. Turns out both of them are rather good at defending themselves. One is also marked as a low priority guest while the other adamantly refused any escorts whatsoever. Fine by me, after all it's our boss who is making the mistake."
"that is true i guess. But still... I got this nagging feeling that something bad is about to happen"
Alaena grimaced at her partner's words "Better make sure that nothing bad happens then right? After all we are the ones making sure this thing goes smoothly."

Jeremy followed Asher into the apartment, listening to his grumbling and shouting as he vigorously dressed in his new suit. It's understandable why he's angry, the two had spent a long time arguing in that store. Especially with Jeremy being a picky person, apparently they didn't make baggy suits which cover the body as one piece of clothing. Well, that makes sense, doing that would turn it into robes. Which are exactly what Jeremy always wore.

"Sir, thou should calm down. We do not want thee to be infuriated at this party, would give thy people a bad figure. Would thou need one to keep an eye on thee at the party?"

~Finn~

The demon girl seamed to have not have noticed me when I came out and jumped when I spoke to her. I watched as she took in my appearance. I took notice on how she didn't seam to want to stick around, I pouted slightly, and here I was hoping to make a friend before the ball.
"Hello there. Are you by chance going to the mayor's ball? If you are then it may be that we'll see each other again. I'm afraid I am still preparing to go so I must bid you adieu." As soon as she started to speak she left for here apartment, I didn't even have a chance to reply. It seamed I would see here at the ball any way, perhaps I could get to know her there. I smiled at the thought, having friends in other countries would be nice, it would give my uncle reason to send me away. Keeping relations and so on. With that thought I left the balcony and my apartment. I decided to walk to the ball, it would be best. It would take me a while after all.

~Asher

"Sir, thou should calm down. We do not want thee to be infuriated at this party, would give thy people a bad figure. Would thou need one to keep an eye on thee at the party?" I groaned and rubbed my face at Jeremy's word. He was right, calm down, I had a image to portray now.
"Yes, Jeremy, keep a eye or two out. Parties like this are always trouble." I looked over to the door once I heard a knock fallowed by the fox speaking threw it. "Asher Williams? this is officer Jones and my partner officer Smith. We are to be your escorts to the ball." I grinned daw, the fox cares. I heard some muffled talking threw the door and motioned for Jeremy to get the door. There was no way I was going to answer it. Many years of having to deal with kidnappers as a kid taught me that, let the servant lie saying I wasn't in the room, at the time I would have hid or run away. Now I would just beat the crap out of who ever thought it was smart to try and get me, though I highly doubt that the little fox was here to attempt such at thing.

Nodding gently, Jeremy head over to the door. "One will sommon the scythe once us has arrived." He stated before turning to the door. Hearing the muffled words of the officer, that bitch. She didn't seem like the likable type, but at least they could hopefully bump into the Nymph girl once they arrive.

Opening the door slowly, Jeremy spoke. "One can escort one's master." He spoke with spite towards the officers. Feeling a little annoyed already due to the fact he couldn't spend more lone time with his master.

It wouldn't be surprising to see the officers jump at Jeremy's appearance. He still had the 'warpaint' (blood) over his face in fancy patterns. That's the best an old age necromancer could do to look good.

Alaena

Alaena smiled gently as she saw Jeremy open the door with a blood-smeared face. her partner on the other hand damn near had a heart attack and drew his gun. "what the blazes is on your face!?" Alaena started chuckling and turned to her partner "it seems that Asher's bodyguard is a tad eccentric." Turning back to Jeremy she spoke plainly. "this isn't by your choice or mine. my boss gave the order to ensure that Asher remains unharmed until he gets to the ball. put it simply one of us will have to remain in your vehicle while the other follows in the cruiser. if you have a problem with that you will have to take it up with my superiors. otherwise we got no choice and nor do you." she waves to her partner to go to the cruiser and gently forces herself past jeremy. "since my partner is about as likely to shoot you as he is to do his job i will be joining you. As much as I know you two like to have alone time, my job is on the line so it is preferred that your protesting be brought to a minimum."

Gabriel

Gabriel sat on the couch waiting patiently for Cerise to get the vehicle up to the balcony. the dress was the perfect size and fit her perfectly. she hoped it wasn't too flashy. afterall the last time she did one ambassador tried to get her to sleep with him. it didn't end very well for him or his lackey's but it kind of ruined the event. Gabriel's thoughts drifted over to when her mother scolded her about it. it wasn't the harshest she had heard her but it was certainly a surprise. a car horn interrupted her reverie and she looked over to the balcony. seeing the car hovering next to the balcony Gabriel darted for it. in under a few seconds, Gabriel had opened the back seat door and practically jumped into the back seat. "let's go." Gabriel said as she started her mental preparation for the upcoming talks with just about every ambassador besides herself.

Myra led her girls into the two limos. She could feel the excitement in the air. This was her favorite type of event; All of her girls were dressed to the nines and she knew the profits wouldn't be bad either. (In fact, Myra expected the night to be the most profitable of the year.) She knew the girls would be nervous on the ride over, just as Myra was, so she sent four bottles of champagne with each limo. Myra decided she wanted her girls to feel perfect for the event; just a little buzzed and at ease. With ten girls to each limo, four bottles would be more than enough, but with a ten minute drive they wouldn't finish them.

As Myra watched the limos leave she walked toward the four car garage placed behind the building. All the cars were hers, but she chose her favorite; a 1960 Corvette Stingray. It wasn't the most expensive of her small collection, nor the flashiest. But Myra found it the most elegant. She loved the small cab and thin steering wheel, and she couldn't get over the jet black paint job. She slid into the red leather seats and grabbed the keys from a miniature safe in the door. She grabbed her phone from her purse and made sure each of her ladies had opened their accounts for their suitors to fill. After scrolling through and double checking, Myra revved the engine of her Corvette, and sped out of the lot.

~The Ball!~
(because let us all face it we need this to get going a little bit faster)

~Asher~

I cracked my neck and rolled my shoulders as we entered the ball. I put a hand on Jeremy's shoulder "Don't pull out the scythe unless it is absolutely necessary. We are to make a impression, not scare them all shitless." I whispered to Jeremy as we walked down the red carpet that had been belted off so that guest could get into the party with out being surrounded by the paparazzi after all many of the people here where ether famous, politicians or both. I smiled my most charming smile as waved to the flashing lights. "Stay close" where my final words as I removed my hand from his shoulder. I couldn't care less about the fox and her partner now. They had finished their escorting, and I had no longer need of them. Jeremy could handled pathetic paparazzi if need be.

~Finn~

The many flashing lights nearly blinded me as I walked briskly past a dark haired barely-adult merman and a robed man that smelt of death. I had no intention of staying out side for the large crowed that where calling for certain people to come to them. I didn't want to get to involved with these people. They seamed loud and pushy. I handed a guard at the door my invitation and they smiled and let me in. The inside was like nothing I have ever seen.
Image (a little something like this because I am to lazy to describe what it looks like. Only the one in the RP is a LOT bigger.)
I wondered vaguely if this is what human architecture looked like. The room had high ceiling and the ball room had a balcony on the second floor so that you could watch from above. The room was all ready filling with people, they all looked like to be high end officials. From every corner of the world, and that was saying something seeing as that planets are round.

Receiving his orders, Jeremy nodded to show his understanding and agreement of his orders. Walking across the red carpet with an emotionless face, staying close to his master. His blood warpaint worn in perfect symmetry on his face and hands, still wearing his normal robes, but obviously they had been cleaned for the event. His shoeless feet tapped on the floor as he walked, covered up by the large robes obviously.

All this flashing wasn't very nice though, it seemed distracting and it was hard to see... But at least his master was right beside him, smiling at the cameras like a photogenic idiot. As per usual...

-Gabriel-

Gabriel slipped out of the car to be greeted with a storm of camera flashes. Ignoring them Gabriel kept her pace collected and calm as she made her way to the entrance. She looked at the guard and passed him by making it very clear that the ticket was unnecessary. After all, she looked like every bit of an ambassador. as she entered she found the room was huge. big enough to fit in a couple hundred people easy. the room was still rather empty so Gabriel decided to find a place where she wouldn't stand out all that much. finding a table that looked peaceful enough Gabriel counted people whom she may have to take an interest to. her eyes descended upon an odd pairing. one appeared to be of the merfolk and barely an adult. the other wearing robes that a magic user would wear. Gabriel stared at them deciding that finding out who they were would be on the agenda. Gabriel motioned a servant over for some water and waited patiently for the events to begin.
-Alaena-

Alaena Stretched as she saw asher walk in to the ballroom. She headed in as well and went to where her and John were to be stationed. It wasn't the best post they could have gotten but Alaena wasn't in the mood for complaining. John appeared soon after and they prepared for a long and tedious time of standing around waiting for something at all to happen.
