His master had already headed off to get ready, Jeremy doesn't sleep, so there is no need to get dressed or anything. Since he is always in the same clothes, unless he washes, but that normally results in limbs dropping off.
"So, we are going for a nice walk I guess."
"Fine we will walk, such a commoner thing to do though." I stormed over to the door to my apartment and opened it. "We will hit up the slums first and get you some fancy energy stones. Can't get toughs downtown, come on we will take the Memorial Park, a lot less people will be down there today." I grumbled. Stupid commoners.
And so, Jeremy opened the door and left first, keeping a lookout for any thugs which may be around. No matter where one can be, there will always be some asshole theif or whatever who wants your wallet. "'tis a nice thing to be walking in the fresh air. Slows down the decomposition process. It takes a large sum of energy to reattach a limb."
"Keep the talk about being undead to a minimum while in public dude. Not all people are going to like the fact that your dead, and walking and talking, oh and have a mind and will of your own." I shoved my hands in my pockets I started to trudge my way threw a crowd of people to make it to the Memorial Park entrance.
"My apologies, sir. One is bound to thee via a contract made by thy father. One cannot live with a mind and will of his own." Jeremy explained as he calmly walked next to his master.
There was soo many people around that day, more than usual because of the useless event which was taking place. People were bumping into Jeremy as he attempted to push through the crowd, preventing the same to happen to his master.
"'tis quite annoying to see these people all together. Makes one's instinct to kill try to take over..."
The two finally made it to the Memorial Park entrance, at this area was less people, which made life much easier for the two. Jeremy would have been lost if he wasn't with his master, he simply pays more attention to keeping an eye on the master instead of the environment.
"What is the temperature?" Jeremy asked, a bit confused as to why people were sweating when he felt soo cold. Well, of course he would, he has no sense of touch and therefore cannot feel any temperature except the coldness of his dead body."
The two had reached the entrance to the slums, the gloomy look was quite inviting. If there was a way to break out of this contract, then Jeremy would definitely find refuge in this place. Maybe he could find some people who could improve his energy levels. Although, as his master said, it is a good place to visit for moonstones and other illegal stuff. Maybe there will be some cool enchanted stuff or something.
"Would thou need one to summon one's scythe? Five hours is the limit."
As she travelled down the quiet street, her turquoise skirts hovered above her aching feet and the dirty pavement, making Myra crave the solace of her tree and her natural state. She ran her fingers over her wooden earrings and fought the temptations to end her schedule there, but she knew her managing was not yet finished, and continued on. To her surprise, she saw an undead man reveal a large weapon on the street. There really isn't a need for that, these people don't want any more trouble then they are in. Myra knew this part of the city seemed dangerous, but shad travelled numerous nights alone through the slums and had yet to encounter a criminal. Overlooking the odd couplet, she wondered where they had come from. Myra certainly had never seen them before.
"I think putting that away might be a better idea. To much attention." I didn't feel like gaining anymore attention that I was getting in this place. It all ready made me feel uneasy. "Only pull it out when the fighting starts, if any starts." I scratched the left side of my neck where my scales where, stupid cheep salt. "Now lets go, I don't want to be here any longer then I need to be." I trudged off further into the slums.

And now Jeremy is more pissed off than happy. He was told to waste his energy on summoning the scythe, and now it isn't needed? It's not like he can just whip it out when he pleases, he is dead! He can't spare that much energy.
"Sir, One cannot summon the scythe anymore, one has too little energy levels. If one removes the scythe now, it cannot be summoned until one gains more energy." Jeremy explained, speaking with a little hiss in his croaky, death like voice. He was obviously annoyed.
"Besides, One cannot reverse summon. Yet."
Myra directed her path toward the men and placed a sympathetic smile on her face, though she was more cautious than anything. Glancing down to her jewelry of petrified wood, she felt safer, and decided to let her hair down. After shaking her hair out, she stood a few feet away from the men and studied them. "Do you need help? Are you lost?" She particularly eyed the man until she smelled a hunt of salt. Raising her chin in a curious manner, she wondered if he may be a merman.
"Nah, not lost, but maybe you could tell me where I could get some moon stones. I'll be out of everyone's hair as soon as we get them." I gave a confident smirk. I crossed my fingers mentally in hopes that she would tell me so I would spend less time wandering around this place.

She continued walking toward the shop where the moonstones could be found and smiled toward the men. "If you follow me I'm sure you'll find them much faster. The merchant hides his store in an alley to keep wandering eyes away from his-" Myra nodded toward the undead man."-special customers. Anyway, I'm heading there also to buy jewelry for my ladies." Though many people didn't think of using moonstones as jewelry, she found them quite impressionable in the dark hours. Especially while hanging in the cleavage of one of her girls. No one could resist that type of glowing attention.
On evaluation, the woman seemed to have quite a large amount of energy. That's strange, normally it's great magicians with neutral affinities who had large amounts of energies. This is a place where there are many different races present, so it may not be a surprise if she was one of those 'aliens'.

It's up to Jeremy's master whether the two should follow her, but directing the term 'special customers' seemed a bit rude and insulting. Causing Jeremy to scowl a little as he lowered his guard and returned the scythe to one hand.
"Hey, why does't thee contain a large amount of energy? Is it that thou art not human?"
"Hey, why doesn't thee contain a large amount of energy? Is it that thou art not human?"
Myra raised an eyebrow toward him. Energy? I did have three cups of coffee this morning, and I finished my gallon of water. She wondered if the undead needed specific items to stay alive, a moonstone perhaps? Myra wasn't completely sure. "Well no, I am a nymph. I receive the brunt of my energy from the earth." She grinned, "Water and caffeine certainly helps when you're as busy as me though. Say, you're looking for moonstones...is that where you get your energy from? You see, I'm very interested in other races and I wonder about these things."

"Nymph? What is these beings you speak of?" Jeremy asked, quite confused and curious towards this Nymph person.
"So, thee have life energy with an earth affinity? People like thou are quite rare. But that does not explain why one wanted to know why thou hast high amounts of life energy. One can see it." He continued, his words carrying death and curiosity through the air.
"As for thy question, one does replenish one's life energy from moonstones. And one is human, what is interesting about one's race?"
She had tried not to offend the man, but she couldn't help but question his race. What do they eat? Do they eat? She had many questions running through her head as she conversed with the man and wondered if she was stepping over any casual boundaries. For heaven sakes, I haven't even introduced myself.
"I have never seen him eat or sleep in the time that I have known him. He claims that he needs nether to supply energy. Though I have also seen him insult people and things they do because it is a waste of energy." I was being honest, then again for the most part I agreed with him but for different reasons, especially with that stupid parade. "Now can we get a move on, I don't want to stick around much longer, I am getting the feeling we are being watched."
Myra glanced over to the merman with a quizzical look. They seemed to know a lot about each other. Maybe they were just very good friends? Myra was tired of trying to find out. Being watched? He does have something to hide... She was beginning to feel like she was putting herself in danger by being around these two. What was going on? With that last comment, Myra had certainly began to wonder. As a group of grisly men approached, she had understood why. They were part of business opportunity gone haywire. One Myra hadn't ridden herself of yet. "Hello boys, it is always a pleasure."
"Yeah, we know. We've come to retrieve you for the boss. He says he needs you now and we's supposed to take you there whether you like it or not." The leader held a bat in his hand and pounded it against his palm as he looked over the two men standing next to Myra. "We would hate to get in the way of new clients, but I'm sure they'd be fine with it. We just don't wanna hafta do any damage see? The boss would hate to have his best girl bruised ya know?"
She snarled toward the group and nodded her head. "Yes, you may call him 'boss' but he happens to be a business partner, not my boss." Myra knew it had been a bad idea to get mix men and business. At the time though, it seemed like a wonderful business opportunity. She gestured to her two companions. "And these two are not clients. I was going to buy jewelery for my girls and they were headed the same way."
Those men seemed to know this Nymph girl, and they didn't seem friendly either. Especially that guy with the big stick. But why are they coming over here? And why is the Nymph girl causing trouble? It's a good thing Jeremy had his scythe.
And so, Jeremy stepped forward next to the Nymph girl. Wielding his scythe in a way where the blade scratched against the floor, ready to be swung at great strength.
"Female Nymph. Art them people causing thee some trouble? Or is this how they normally are?"
I handed Jeremy the last two moon stones I had, and pulled the pendant around my neck off. I threw it into the air above my head, it turned into my trident. I caught it easily. I looked behind me and saw more ugly s.o.bβs I put my back to Jeremy and the nymph, Allies to my back enemies to my front. I decided that with the number of them that my weapon wasn't the best... I twisted my trident in the middle splitting it in half, on the other half was a blade.
(looks something like this put together and apart)
βI hate to burst your bubble Jeremy, but I think they want to beat our faces in.β I held a battle stance, none of these guys actually had ranged weapons, so that made me feel a little better. βI think it is safe to say that we can beat their faces in before they know whatβs hit them.β I whispered over my shoulder, keeping an eye on the men in front of me. βBe careful with those moon stones, they are the only ones we got left.β I said a little louder. βSo what you say Nymph, up for kicking their butts?β
"Art these the only ones, sir? We should get some more quickly." Jeremy asked as he spread his legs apart, leaning forward a little and holding his scythe in a battle post. It was held diagonally with the blade on the right side, pointing diagonally down to the floor. If one were to reach it's path of swing, then they would be cut cleanly in half. But, this also has a risk on the undead's body. If he gets carried away, Jeremy may end up having his limbs rip off due to the force and weight of the swining scythe.
