High above Langara, just beyond it's orbit into the depths of space, a rescue was under way. From Caprica City citizens were
swept by an unknown ally in the midst of terror and destruction.
Riots had stricken the streets of Caprica, the people rallied in
abandon at the end of the world. In the madness descended an unknown enemy. From the clouds dropped a
seed of
death, the mother's crash
landing eclipsed in the after-flare of
defensive detonation.
The ship coursed true to wherever it was going. The Aschen Citizens inside didn't know much about their final destination, only that it was a promise away from Hell. From the safety and comfort of a guest cabin they did what they must to cope. After all, they were survivors.
Expression nearly blank, Gerard Lorette gazed out a large ovular window. It was cool to the touch; he was glad to discover this when leaning against it. The view was captivating, something he hadn't seen in a while. He never quite got used to the feeling of watching the planet shrink behind him. He sighed, looking to the other in the cabin.
"So, I guess here we are."
