Sire Thomas Zarek watched Randin for a moment, through narrow eyes. "You look happy." He said plainly, his status in office would be made quite evident. "I'm sorry for whatever was bothering you.. please come join us, maybe I can remedy your situation." He said as he stepped through the door back to Chakladar's office. "Madame Chakladar, what exactly just happened in here?" He asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

Sire Thomas Zarek made a face. "Not my business... Chancellor? I'd like you to repeat that title to me.. what was it... Sire?" He asked, stepping forward, narrowing his eyes. Randin about to see Aschen power-mongering unfold right before him. "What were you and the man discussing?" He said, placing his hands on the desk. "Time is money, Chancellor, and I have a Parliament meeting in fifteen centons."

Sire Thomas Zarek scowled. "You're hiding something... but what I wonder?" He then smiled. "I know exactly what you're hiding, and that pissant over there isn't going to touch Marlene, I guaren-damn-tee you that, Chancellor, file thirteen that case and move on." He warned before he turned to leave. Zarek had been standing out the door listening, and so he passed Randin.

"You best forget everything you saw, okay? Gods forbid you actually get something to tack on her, it'd be a shame of Wing City's finest detective was found committing an act of terrorism, so you better trot back into that office and apologize." He said, walking towards the elevator and stepping into it.

Sire Thomas Zarek silently stepped into the bar as he glanced around. "Vogel's Bar, another fine Tech Con establishment." Zarek said before he took a few more steps into the clean, airy interior of the bar itself. Then he looked to find a seat, clasping a briefcase in one hand, and a portable computron in the other.

"Julia Hagan... where could she be." He said, adjusting his chain of office and dark cinnamon colored jacket. After a few moments, the Tech Con waiter approached, and Zarek ordered a scotch on the rocks, the drink was then promptly placed in front of him.

"Alright, now to play the waiting game." He said quietly, fixing his hair.

Sire Thomas Zarek nodded. "I decided to take the case personally, as Mr. Hagan is a very close friend of mine." Sire Zarek said, grasping her hand firmly. "I know nothing short of a Sire can get your father out of the predicament hes in. Unfortunately the Aschen Government has been less than cooperative in securing his freedom.. Talking with the Belkans has that unfortunate effect.. please.. sit." He said, motioning to the seat before he sipped his drink.

"As it stands, Mr. Hagan is in UCON Custody, extraditing him from the Coalition will prove a tricky feat, we'll need to figure a way to prove his innocence so that we can extradite him.. damn Scatterrans."

Sire Thomas Zarek nodded. "I'm sure your Uncle Zarek can get your dad out of prison." He said, leaning to a more informal setting, after-all, Hagan and Zarek went way back. He then slid some papers over to her. "This is the last known location of Mr. Hagan, It's spotty at best, but Terra pinned his last known location.." He said, sipping his drink again.

"Have you managed to get in touch with anyone other than myself? I know the name of a lawyer who is really good at getting the obviously guilty off scot free, his name is Romo Lampkin, he served as Tech Con's lawyer at one point." Zarek explained, before nodding. "And I completely understand that you miss your father, he was a great man, he revolutionized the industry."

Sire Thomas Zarek looked to the papers. "When your Secratery started hounding the legal teams I decided to intercede on your behalf." He said, going over the papers. "I'm a Sire, and the Sires pull a lot of weight in the Aschen Government, before Hagan was arrested, he told me that Dane Vogel was a frackup, and that you were going to inherit his company if he is executed." Zarek said, then he shrugged. "Or you can allow Mr. Vogel to continue to run Tech Con." He said, before he went to the legal aspect of everything.

"UCON is charging him with conspiring with the Belkans, and given the nature of their courts, I don't know how I can guarantee his innocence." Zarek admitted, sighing. "I have sent for Mr. Lampkin but unfortunately he's tied up in the Langaran legal system defending a client in a high profile case."

Sire Thomas Zarek nodded. "I can't agree more with you on that sentement." Zarek agreed passively, as he inspected the files before him. "You think UCON will buy the bribe issue? I mean, we have no shortage of money, and buying off a few Scatterrans would probably get Hagan snuck out of the Coalition, but if we go that route we need to be careful... a Settlement is another option, I can put pressure on the Aschen Government to try and Pressure the Coalition for his release." He said, rubbing his face.

"I can arrange the three of us meet with a representative from the Coalition."

Sire Thomas Zarek nodded, then he rose up in his seat. "I will do everything within my power to bring your father home safely." He said, extending his hand for a moment. "Do what you need to do, and I will do what I have to do to make sure that Hagan is returned home safely. Every moment he is not in Tech Con, is a moment that Tech Con is without it's true founder." He said, nodding then he looked out to see a white SUV pull up to the front of the bar. "It was a pleasure meeting with you, and I hope we can bring your father home safely." Zarek said, extending his hand and inclining his head.

"And I wish you luck, hopefully this will go smoothly."

Sire Thomas Zarek shook his head and held out his hand in refusal. "No Thank you, I had a large lunch, I'm not hungry." He said calmly, before he sat down and made himself comfortable.

"I noticed that your government, and your Parliament is as corrupt as ours, it's funny that the Terrans claim to be better than everyone else. I'm not going to lie, you've got a lot of people afraid of you. But I came to talk to you about George, do you know anything about the affairs surrounding him?" Zarek asked, not betraying a hint of anything.

"Funny how Aschen law works out, I don't subscribe to STO though, I prefer the ideals of equal shares for everyone, and an ideal communal soceity where everyone has a slice of the pie. My fellow Sires and Siresses unfortunately aren't as progressive as I am, are they? But let's not get off topic... George is dead and you've been in the news lately, what is this world coming too? Sire Thomas Zarek nodded. "The LDA has kept a tight lid on Mr. Montgomery's death, so far as charging any reporters who even think about airing the laundry. You see, we don't have freedom of the press, Parliament voted to overturn that right a decade ago, they're a bunch of pompous corrupt charlatans if you ask me, greedy pigs." He said as he shifted to get comfortable. "I tried to instate a new form of government when I was younger, our movement was pretty strong, it was just before the unification treaty, we nearly toppled Sagittaron's government and instilled a new free state, where everyone had the shares of the bounties, and everyone worked to a common goal, it was to be a system that was flawless, no rich, no poor, only the greater good... but the Capricans put a stop to that.. after the unification, the new Military Command ground our movement to a halt, and I was imprisoned for Sedition against the new Aschen Confederation." Zarek spat.

Sire Thomas Zarek nodded. "In my new Utopia, there were no politicians, everyone was to have equal power in their government, a true people's democracy." He said, before declining another slice of pie. "Minister Chaska is here... probably causing trouble with her investigation." He fussed, before he snapped his fingers, and a figure in a familiar form fitting black suit suddenly appeared standing besides them, before setting what looked like Baklava onto the table. "My Security officers come bearing gifts." He said, before the figure suddenly vanished back into his cloaking field.

"Satta cakes." He said, gesturing to the plate before him, before taking one.

Sire Thomas Zarek laughed. "I think that if we wanted on this world bad enough, we would still be here. We still hold one of the most powerful militaries, the best equipped anyway." He admitted, before he shifted in his seat. "We're at a pretty interesting phase of our military transition, Aschen soldiers won't even look like your typical soldier anymore, with our new Future Force Warrior program in full swing, these Combat skins are just the beginning, I'm actually very impressed." Zarek admitted, before two soldiers stepped into the house clad in armor that resembled the T-65 Suit, but was different in some ways.

"My Security forces are equipped with the best, I'm surprised that Ashkenazi let them pass as well."

"I can tell you what isn't classified, it's a new type of combat suit, based of the T-65, the specifics are classified, but I can tell you it's our most advanced infantry armor to date, supposed to replace the typical loadout of Aschen soldiers." He said, shrugging. "I don't know the specifics." He added, turning back to Drulovic. "It's revolved around the concept that a handful of these men can take on armies."
