The Reginald Family

The Shield of Light

0 · 2,071 views · located in Fuchsia City

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by HolyJunkie

Description

Though the implication behind their typical "high-end" attire and their generally authoritative demeanour paints them as mobsters in the eyes of the public, the police know for certain that the Reginalds are every bit as legitimate as their history of championships implies- which is to say they are indeed legitimate. Their family line dates back to the origins of Kanto, when a small family in Fuschia City's son, orphaned at the age of ten, set out to make his fortune... At least, that's the common legend. No one really knows the true origins, but they do know it relates to the old, unassuming city. With the old Patriarch gone, the family line now consists of brothers Marcus and Tarma . Tarma was married once, but his wife only bore twin daughters before her sudden illness. Marcus, however, bore a son and a daughter with Celadon.

THE COAT OF ARMS - Currently with Radegast.
An Aegislash called "Reginald", an ageless blade of indestructible metal said to house the spirits of all Reginalds who came before. After many generations, it is doubtlessly an immensely powerful creature. The shield bears the Reginald coat of arms, a circle of shining silver, surrounded by three black crescent moons, all on a sea of deep sage. The circle represents the Shield of Light, the green represents the origins of the family- the deep greens of Fuschia. No one remembers what the crescent moons mean, however. Many have their theories.
The Coat of Arms is incredibly wise, but very dim. It almost never picks up on lingo and nuance in language beyond the literal definition of words. Despite the dimwittedness, it has lived as long as the entire family line. As a result, it is highly knowledgeable in history, and especially battle strategy.
It acts less like a pokemon, and more like an extension of the user's own mind, very much like a Stand. It would act automatically, with, without, or even against the user's orders. This is because the Aegislash is an immensely powerful, independent creature with an extremely powerful, and extremely specific sense of duty. It will put it's own life before those of the ones it is sworn to protect... though good luck killing it.
Abilities: Stance Change
Moveset:
-King's Shield
-Sacred Sword
-Aerial Ace
-Flash Cannon
-Fury Cutter
-Shadow Ball
The Aegislash can "fuse" with a living blood Reginald to bolster its abilities as well as the human's abilities by a significant margin. Along with this transformation comes the addition of the following attacks at full-power.
-Hyper Beam
-Giga Impact
-Fissure
-Ice Beam
Fusion also negates all type weaknesses inherent to the Aegislash, and in fact renders all type attacks at least half as effective. The cost of such an incredible power is severe... and only a living Reginald can perform this particularly powerful brand of Spirit Bonding.

Moves discovered whilst fused with Radegast:
Slash - Simply any attack with the blade or the shield would register as this.
Icy Wind - A vastly inferior version of the Ice Beam, but still chills enemies all the same.

TARMA REGINALD - DECEASED
As the older brother, he is the standing Patriarch of the family. Though he was quite healthy at the age of 60, his health has rapidly deteriorated, to the point where he requires Soundwave, or at least a cane, to move around. The reason for this is a past fusion with Reginald the Aegislash. Most recently, due to fusion, Tarma has lost the strength in his legs to walk again. As the living Patriarch, he is the one who currently commands the Coat of Arms. Compared to Marcus, Tarma is a far wiser, more informed man. With the exception of the Coat of Arms, his closest friends are approximately level 70. All have been absorbed by Reginald the Aegislash
Soundwave the Noivern - A Noivern almost as old as Tarma. Larger than the average Noivern. Tarma's starter. Knows Fly, but the speakers on his head have seen better days.
Exploud
Chatot
Bronzong

MARCUS REGINALD
The younger brother, whose initial dislike of being the younger brother turned into a deeply passionate desire to hold to tradition. This is mainly because Tarma had no sons. Though very cold and blunt, impatient, and eager to conquer his foes in the field of battle, he is a loving father. He is aware of Radegast's intentions, and is surprisingly cool with his son's group's slow, yet steady development. However, he does plan to crush his son on his terms, to show his son the way the world works. When the time comes, Marcus will show his son what it means to be a Ruulan. All of his pokemon are approximately level 80.
Is now the standing Patriarch.
Palkia - Holds a grudge against Radegast. Marcus captured him in order to keep him away from an evil force that's still out there.
Rotom - His most treasured inheritance from his father. Acts very much like a butler.
Golurk - Marcus' personal bouncer, basically.
Swampert
Yanmega - Marcus' starter. Knows Fly, but his bug-like eyes are graying, and relies on Marcus' touch to know where and how to fly.

CELADON REGINALD
Marcus' wife, a terrifying trainer in her own right. She and Marcus teamed up to conquer the Team Doubles tournaments. She and Marcus were two peas in a pod when they first met. Even so late in their marriage, they still finish each others' sentences in a cute way. A natural at the arts of Pokemon breeding. While stories tell of her unparalleled warmth towards others and especially her husband, her son running away had triggered something dark and terrible within. This borderline hatred makes her the most dangerous and unpredictable of all the Reginalds. All of her pokemon are approximately level 80, matching Marcus' team.
Flygon - Knows Fly
Venusaur
Shedinja - Celadon's starter, a tireless bodyguard who protects her from the shadows at all times. The Ninjask who had produced it has long passed away, and was buried in the gardens for unending service and friendship.
Gallade - Often teams up with Marcus' Golurk as personal bouncers.

MARGRIET REGINALD
An incredibly attractive Champion-tier trainer with Hall of Fame entries in both the Kanto and Hoenn leagues. She is a model and aspiring actress, but is easily flustered by the ridiculous name "Marge". She hones her skills in private events, where she was offered many a deal for products. She is her parents' daughter, and sort of resents her brother for rejecting the family business, as well as causing irreparable damage to the family she loves. All of her pokemon are approximately level 60.
Crobat
Delphox
Poliwrath - Her starter.
Golem
Weavile
Raikou - A gift from Marcus, and Mergriet's closest friend next to Poliwrath, her starter.

TARMA'S TWINS
Nadine and Cori Reginald. They're rarely without their respective starters- An Abomasnow and a Ludicolo respectively.
Few ever talk about them, except for Tarma, who always raves about how wonderful his daughters are, and how much they make him proud.
Incidentally, the Twins run a gardening shop, and have not even attempted a Pokemon challenge. Now in their mid-late twenties, they have a chain running, and have recently expanded to Unova, opening a shop in Driftveil City.

RADEGAST REGINALD
The only son. He nicknamed the Coat of Arms "Reggie", which brought laughter from Tarma, but a lecture on "respect" from Marcus. Their relationship is... complicated... Especially now that they know he is alive and well in Unova- up until Radegast disappeared again.
Small note: Radegast is the only member of the family with muscle definition.

LUCY REGINALD
Disowned.

THE GUARD / FAMILY FRIENDS
As a powerful family, the Reginalds have many a contact either under their employ or under the value of friendship. It is the Guard that makes them appear to be mobsters, but many of them are profoundly grateful for the opportunities they were so lucky to have. The Reginalds have many a contact they can call for many a favour, but the core of their influence is maintained at the hands of three individuals.
LOGAN DE JONG
At seventeen years of age, Logan is pretty much the son Marcus wanted to have. However, due to the strict code the Reginalds hold, Logan would only be a legible heir if he married Margriet, and Radegast was dead. Though he's a better man than to ever consider murder, he does have a huge crush on Margriet.
Peregrine - A Pidgeot - Level 39
Magmatron - A Heatran, a reward from Marcus for great service, and also Logan's "badge' as Marcus' Right Hand. - Level 50
Marth - An Absol, a fiercely loyal friend, and Logan's original starter. - Level 40
PERCY FLETCHER
At twenty-nine, he's earned a prestigious position as the Left Hand. Taken in at a young age, he sees Marcus like the father he never had.
Wolverine - A Typhlosion, and Percy's starter - Level 31
Spotlight - A Lanturn - Level 30
GREGORY FLETCHER
Percy's younger brother. Twenty-eight years-old. He also sees Marcus as a father. While he's not as good a fighter as Percy or Logan, Gregory found his calling as an operator. He can drive and pilot many vehicles in Ruula, from cars to planes to boats.
Pin - A Cacturne - Level 29
Spearhead - A Fearow - Level 27

THE ESTATE - DESTROYED

The Reginald Estate was bordered by a ten-foot wall at key positions. Within the walls is an immense garden that spans from front to back, with only the two-story mansion itself to interrupt it. At the far back, a huge, ancient tree still blooms pink leaves every spring, overlooking the entrance to the Catacombs like an undying protector.

THE CATACOMBS - DESTROYED

A spiralling tunnel leading deeper and deeper, splitting off into rooms full of coffins, empty or occupied. Most of the coffins are empty, due to the owners' bodies and souls being absorbed by the Aegislash to bolster its power. The following is an incomplete list of Reginalds of the past.

-Mario Reginald - The First Reginald. His name is kept secret only by the Coat of Arms, but the gist of his legend is still known. A nobody who set out to make his fortune in an ordinary Pokemon journey, who later discovered the Spirit Bond and used it to give Reginald the Aegislash his soul, so the Aegislash could protect the family beyond death. The Spirit Bond knowledge was lost with him, until rediscovered centuries later. Some argue that the First didn't discover the Spirit Bond first, but others counter-argue the existence of Reginald is undeniable proof that the First did, in fact, discover the Spirit Bond centuries before the official discovery.
-The Second through Ninth - All names also lost, but their stories remain on faded plaques.
-The Tenth Reginald. A rebellious Reginald who defaced the Catacombs in order to try to rewrite history, slain by his son and Reginald, and cursed to be known only as "The Vandal". His coffin has since been removed by Lucy Reginald.
-Illya Reginald - The Tenth Reginald's son, heralded as "Holder of the Bloodline"
-"The Scorpion" - A warrior whose real name was lost to terrible conflict. Lived during some of the bloodiest battles between three other families. The Reginalds were the last family standing by the end of it. The ultimate symbol of the Reginald supremacy.
-Fargo Reginald, the first of his name
-Fargo Reginald II
-Fargo Reginald III
-Fargo Reginald IV, Saviour of Lavaridge.
-Orson Reginald, the first of his name, the "Peacemaker of Johto.” Long, long, very long ago, Kanto and Johto were at war. The actions of Orson from Kanto and his future wife from Johto had formed a peace agreement. Next to Orson’s tomb was a more intricately designed tomb, labeled “The love of my life, Barbara Reginald.”What was not written was that Orson was actually the Supreme Commander of the Kanto armies, and he had claimed Barbara (among other political and resource gains) in exchange for peace between the two regions. As they say, history was written by the victor, and much of that truth was lost in the generations that passed, especially in the fires four hundred years ago.
-Shin Reginald, the Great Ninja. Founder of the Old Fuscia Martial College, where he experimented and discovered leaps and bounds in the studies of poisons and antidotes, and also founder of the style that changed and evolved into what Kanto’s current Gym Leaders now practice. His wife’s tomb was labeled “Keeper of the Great Antidote.” Shin’s school itself was long gone, but many styles of martial arts that incorporate traditional methods use the same methods first applied there, especially those designed to hone one’s resistance to toxins.
-Horace Reginald, "The Kraken.” Long ago, he and Kyogre did battle on the sea. The reasons have been lost, but the two fought to a stalemate, and the Kyogre granted Horace “The Boon of the Sea”, where he and his kin would find a friend in the seas for generations to come.
-“The Jaguar” Reginald II - The master thief, who dedicated his life to helping folk improve on their security. The name is worn-out on his coffin. However, given that he was the son of The Kraken, some theorize his name was also Horace.
-Florence Reginald, "The Family Man” - Had twenty children, never did battle in his time.
-Gregorovich Reginald, The Lion. Father of Tarma and Marcus Reginald, grandfather to Radegast, Margriet, and Tarma's twin daughters Nadine and Cori. Named "The Lion" due to his impressive beard and flowing hair, as well as his ferocity and strength. Wrestled bear Pokemon in his time. Sacrificed himself in the Shadow Dimension to stop a great evil.
-Patricia Reginald, the great evil Gregorovich sacrificed himself to destroy. The mother of Lucy Reginald, had attempted to take the power of Giratina as her own.

So begins...

They ran, her pain seemed to fade as she was more worried about her pokemon than herself. Someone mentioned a break, she wasn't sure who since she wasn't really paying attention. She heard snippets of the conversation. Words like "grandpa" and "left behind" rang in her head. She took the opportunity to place all her pokemon, except MewMew into their balls.

MewMew patted her head before turning its gaze at Maxin. Skyva's eyes followed. The mention of her arm made her aware of the pain, but she fought it back and smiled, "maybe you are right." She watched him make the sling and listened to him carefully while MewMew watched also. It was ready to make a barrier at any moment. "Your father sounds like a good guy." She whispered, or at least she thought she did.

Slowly she sat on the ground, doing so in a way that wouldn't need her arm. She stayed quiet after that. If she was the girl all those years ago, she wouldn't have cared. She wouldn't have tried to save her pokemon and in the end she would have truly killed Zane. MewMew sat in her lap.

"You have that look in your eyes again, Sky." MewMew whispered up to her.

"Sorry, habit I guess." She whispered back, kissing the top of its head. She thought about Steve and wondered what he would have done. In a way she saw Steve in both of the boys. Out of habit she rolled her eyes when she thought of Steve and Radegast being in anyway similar, but it was there and she couldn't deny it. Skyva missed him. He always knew what to do.

As he waited for Radegast to approach, Maxin wondered what he was going to say...or more exactly, whether to say anything. He didn't know exactly what kind of powers were at work here and he couldn't help but feel like he was interfering with them should he explain it to him. He could be messing up a process millennia in the making and that could have devastating effects on the world as they knew it.

But he has a right to know! another part of himself screamed in his head.

Conflicted with the battle raging in his head, he couldn't get out what he wanted to tell him right away. So, when Radegast showed up, he stammered at first, "Radegast...I...I'm not sure...I-I just can't..."

He couldn't help but let his words trail off, unsure on what to say or how to explain himself. He put his hand in his hair and clenched it, a sign that he was in deep thought. Finally coming to a resolution point, he turned to the teen, "Did you know who those Pokemon were? Or what that device actually was?"

He could already gather that they set up that ambush from the beginning. They wanted Maxin out of the way. More importantly, they wanted Radegast. It was very important for Maxin to know why they did...an answer he would hopefully get out of Radegast.

Zane gritted his teeth in pure rage as the man ran off into the forest somewhere. Did he know? was the first question that popped into his head. He quickly shook the thought. No...that Aegislash carried a lot of wisdom and experience...but it wasn't above his illusions.

Turning around to survey the damage, he discovered that a good portion of the forty Pokemon were wiped out. In fact, the only ones left standing were the handful of Ghost-Types, all wide-eyed at the display of power the man and Pokemon combination had. His nostrils flared in annoyance.

Yeah, this one was powerful. But brains beat brawn any day...

"You three," his voice barked at the Spiritomb, Bannette, and Lampent, "Help everyone else find those nuisances. As for you four," he turned to the Shedinja, Golett, and the two average sized Pumpkaboo, "Help bring everyone back from unconsciousness. Revive seeds are at our temporary base. Go."

Not wanting to anger the Zoroark, the seven Ghost-Types set off to do their tasks immediately. Zane was soon the only one left awake in the clearing, rubbing the dark opal around his neck compulsively.

Not all was lost, he decided. He now knew what kind of force Radegast had in his corner. And that Aegislash may have been strong and resistant to Psychic-Types, but it did have clear and defined weaknesses...like Fire and Ground.

And most notably...Dark.

“I
don’t know exactly who they are,” Radegast shrugged grimly, “I met the standing region champion, Touko, and she got our help in fighting those guys. That
 thing they had
 I only have a hunch
 what the power source is
Elder knows the exact name, The PTA wildlings told Elder about that group.”

There were rustling in the trees. Suros’ eye flared up, ready to fight. Her wings flared up, only to pause when she saw it was the Noivern, Soundwave, carrying a withered figure.

Radegast saw the approaching Noivern, held a hand up to Maxin, and rushed back to Skyva’s position.

—

“You have two minutes left,” the Noivern said, “If you wish to achieve your goal, you can’t use that power ever again.”

“Yeah, yeah
” Tarma wheezed weakly as the Noivern helped Tarma to his feet. The old man attempted to take a step, and his feet gave out from under her. His hands caught himself before he could land on the ground. Radegast suddenly saw some long strands of his ponytail drop off from the force, like flakes of dust. “Damnit all
”

The Aegislash appeared from the shadows after them. It kept it’s front facing where they had come from. It’s singular eye was wide, and scanned for any signs of movement.

“Uncle Tarma!” Radegast called as he barely got there in time to catch, “Are you
” He had only seen his Uncle at the store hours ago. He looked healthy and full of colour. Now he was pale, and his features were frighteningly sunken. His eyes were covered in shadow, where the only light was that reflected from the outside sources. “What happened to Uncle?” Radegast demanded from Reggie as he helped Tarma to his feet.

“He and I fused forms,” Reggie replied matter-of-factly, “Like all Reginalds before him. The power we wield is tremendous, without equal. Few can withstand the might of a fused Coat of Arms.”

“So what’s the catch, crippling him afterwards?” Radegast suddenly had a feeling he knew exactly how Tarma came to rely on a cane since he’d been gone.

“His soul, his life force,” Reggie replied without skipping a beat, “He and I become one, and since I am the stronger entity, he gets slowly absorbed.”

“Fuck me sideways dude! Why the hell
 Then Grandpa
 it was you?!”

“Caldwin Reginald had decimated a tyrant, who had taken control of the Shadow Realm, and the ancient beast that resided within. He sacrificed his body to ensure peace throughout the regions.”

Radegast regarded the Aegislash before him like one regarded someone who turned out to be a serial killer. The very idea of a Pokemon absorbing souls over generations
Radegast had never heard explicit descriptions, but

“Those black crescents
” Radegast noted the slivers that surrounded the white circle in the centre, “They represent the souls of
 everyone, don’t they?”

Reggie did not respond.

“Welp, looks like I’ve lost motor function in my legs
” Tarma chuckled, “Fuck
”

“Uncle, why did you do that?”

“For you, boy.”

“Bullshit,” Radegast snapped, “You could’ve used Reggie to drag me back home all those years ago, and he would’ve done it. You could’ve avoided all of this!”

“That weapon was more durable than I thought,” Tarma received the cane from Soundwave, “Such a waste
” Soundwave, who had approached, lent a shoulder for Tarma to lean on. Between the old Noivern’s strength and the stability granted by the cane, Tarma hobbled away from Radegast. “Marcus isn’t gonna like this, Celadon neither
”

“No kidding no one’s gonna like it!” Radegast shot, “What about my cousins? What will they-“

“They know about Reggie. They’ve known since before last time, when they were old enough to know about it,” Tarma turned to Radegast, “If you’ve ever visited the Catacombs, and I know you didn’t, you’d have found that the Reginald Family has a history paved in blood. Our ancestors have combined powers with the Coat of Arms for truly gruesome things
I didn’t want that for the future of the family. I thought you going out on your own, for your own adventures
 to not strive for greatness
I thought it would... break that cycle
”

Tarma sighed, “You’ve been in the wrong place at the wrong time one too many times. I chalk it up to bad luck, but
 it is what it is
Now we’ve got to live with our actions, and the way others perceive them.”

“I’ve never intended to make enemies
”

“Some do not care for intention, only for facts. So what will you do, Radegast?”

“Well
Whatever my friends want to do,” Radegast replied, “Same as always
but right now I’ve got a promise to keep.”

Tarma harrumphed. “I’m leaving Reggie with you,” He tossed Radegast an aged pokeball with an ironwood-looking finish. “It’s designed to be separate from the trainer’s six, so none of your friends will be sent anywhere. In the wake of this, and my worsened condition, I won’t take no for an answer. I shouldn’t be using the flying fuck anymore,” he chuckled.

Radegast looked at the ball, trying hard not to admire the craftsmanship in this aged ball. He then faced the Aegislash, and recalled it. The ball seemed to emit an aura on it’s own once Reggie was inside. Radegast put the ball on a clamp on his backpack.

“Promise me this, though,” Tarma said, “You still have your youth, don’t ever waste it by fusing with him.”

He then helped Uncle Tarma back onto Soundwave’s saddle. The Noivern eyed Radegast with concern, and the boy stroked a hand between the ears in a petting motion he hadn’t done in years. The Noivern remembered, and cawed happily, before launching into the air. Tarma quickly vanished over the horizon, obviously heading back to Driftveil to check on the Twins
and to tell the news of these new developments.

For a moment, Radegast wondered what his parents would think. He stopped himself part-way through when he reminded himself that he shouldn’t care about what they think. Celadon and Marcus’ Pokemon Mastery thing, that was theirs. Margriet’s modelling and whatever else she does, that’s her thing. Whatever the Twins are doing, that’s their thing. They’re free to do their thing.

The sixteen-year-old checked the other pokeballs. Most of them were knocked-out. He’d like to hear Elder’s voice, now more than ever. “We’re calling off our gym challenge and going straight to Alola,” Radegast said, “But first, we gotta get safe, and healed up.”

The moment his question escaped his lips, Maxin knew he was stalling. Obtaining some more information in the meantime, sure. But definitely stalling as well. The words would simply not come of his tongue so easily for once. But how did one explain something as extraordinary as that...especially with someone as clear a disposition as Radegast?

But the answer came quickly when Radegast began explaining about his previous encounter with the sinister-looking Zoroark and that powerful device. He had encountered them before. And now Maxin knew that Radegast's life was in danger. He had no idea what powers were in play here and if they were threatening Radegast's life, then he had to know about it.

"Radegast-" he began to say, but before he could get it out, the teen held up a hand for a pause on the conversation before running towards a shambling form heading for their rest spot. Maxin followed quickly behind, examining the scene unfolding in front of Radegast as he got his first real insight as to who Radegast's family was and what legacy they carried. What kind of power that Aegislash could truly bring out of them. The effects that remained afterward. He could only watch events unfold, unable to say really anything...and not really wanting to.

Maxin stared at the ground as Tarma departed in a much worse condition than the one he was in when he arrived to save them. When he did look up, he looked up to Radegast, his face more distraught and stressed than Maxin had ever seen him. Much more anguish was there than there was after his gym battle in Nimbasa. And Maxin was about to pile more onto his plate. He hated himself for doing it.

But he knew it had to be done. It had to come out.

"Radegast," Maxin finally blurted out, "I don't know if this will help you figure out who is after you and why they are, but...I found something back in that hole I fell in. You remember those hieroglyphs we discovered in that cavern on the way to Castelia? The cave walls I saw were covered with them. And...I saw one of you. You were one of the hieroglyphs on the wall."

“An old friend came here to ask for help,” Radegast replied, completely oblivious to Sophie’s nervous streak, “The island where I met Crystal is being threatened, so I’m gonna see if I can charter a plane ride over to the island. Since it’s the same place I promised to bring Surf to, it’ll kill two birds with one stone, no pun intended,” he playfully scratched Suros’ belly with the same hand.

Touko returned, but not with Maxin. She reported her findings, and how her resources are spread quite thin. Radegast knew that Absolute could hear. Damnit, Radegast thought, He had to leave soon in order to get the drop on the Regicide Crew, but Maxin was still
Touko didn't find him like he was praying for. The boy was in serious trouble, Radegast knew... But so were the thousands on the island...

“It’s all right,” Radegast felt the presence in his head as the Articuno spoke only to him. So this is the power of a legendary, “The cavern Pokemon can hold them off for as long as needed, although the sooner we get there, the easier it will be to clear them out.”

Radegast nodded to seemingly nobody in particular. He was about to say he was going to head into the caverns himself when the Aegislash emerged from his pokeball.

“Remember,” Reggie said, “You’re one of their targets. I cannot allow you to go back where they can find you.”

“The last thing they'd expect would be me charging back in after so much running,” Radegast reasoned.

The Aegislash was not amused. “They would know you've had time to rest..." The sentient blade turned to the champion girl. "Champion Touko, are there any soldiers, any contacts at all, that you can send into Chargestone?”

“No it's alright. I’ll be fine on my own,” Radegast replied, "Touko's stretched thin as it is."

“If you are that stubborn
” Reggie turned upside-down, and pointed the sword body into the sky. He then shifted the shield underneath the pommel to form some sort of satellite dish. The Aegislash turned slightly to make different angles, and eventually paused for a moment. Reggie then returned to his form.

“I have called Margriet,” Reggie announced, “She is currently in Opelucid City. She will be here in a few minutes, along with Logan."

“I
” Radegast huffed in amusement. He was simply happy that his sister wasn’t anywhere near where the Master Blaster had hit. "Thanks, man."

"I live to serve the Family."

"Don't make it weird, Reggie."

"No. Wait. He's right," Touko piped up. "I'm pinned down, but I have contacts all over the place. Heck, the Grand Champion herself lets me call her by her name...we battled back when I made my journey to the top, you see. Iris was running the Opelucid Gym back then. Her old man Drayden should have taken over for her. I can't stray too far from Dweller since I have its Poké Ball, but between here and Opelucid is a place called Icirrus. There, a Gym Leader turned movie star by the name of Brycen lives near Dragonspiral Tower...and he owes me a favor. He can go in and maybe even use that sword for more than a few flashy moves."

She turned back to Radegast. "I'm with Aegislash on this one. I had a talk with Burgh before I left for here. There's nothing definitive, but rumor has it that the last champion of the Indigo League before that new kid Winter came along...well...she tried charging in to meet some sort of foe and met with a terrible fate. I'm still working on tracking her down, since her mechanical expertise might be useful for when we go after the Blaster, but I can't bear the thought of you charging into a trap. You've grown up a lot since I met you at the Academy, Radegast...but if it can make someone as strong as Titania crash and burn, I don't want to see you end up like her." There was a bit of a tear in her eye at that last part that was quickly wiped away.

Soon enough, Margriet and Logan had arrived, riding their respective Flying-types, Crobat and Pidgeot. “I heard from Uncle Tarma,” she said as she approached.

“How’s he-“ Radegast didn’t even get to finish the question before his sister slapped him across the cheek. Radegast twitched, but his hardened survivalist’s body took the blow like a champ. He hadn’t noticed how angry Margriet looked, because he always knew her to appear at least annoyed whenever they were within a hundred metres of each other.

“Are you insane? Going right back to the enemy?” Margriet barked, “Tarma’s crippled himself rescuing you, and you’re talking of risking your life again?”

Radegast’s brow furrowed. “The risk would be mitigated if you and Logan came with-“

“You’re their target! I'd be cool with you coming with us if they wanted to capture you, but Uncle confirmed they just want you dead!” Margriet interrupted, “Reggie may be powerful as a bodyguard, but he’s still a single Ghost/Steel-type. You’re too important to even consider going back.”

Radegast’s eye twitched at the mention of his “importance”. He grit his teeth, about-faced, and stormed off away from the group. Elder felt an unseen anger wash over the sixteen-year-old, since he had taken to hiding in his friend’s shadow. Elder exited Radegast’s shadow and returned to Margriet. “I’ll talk to him,” Elder said, “We’ll make sure he stays back.”

“Good,” Margriet sighed. She then turned to Touko to continue discussing rescue plans. “We’ll head to the Mistralton-side entrance, and hold position until both entrances are covered. We’ll box in any threats within the cave that way.”

—

“You knew Marge would do that, didn’t you?” Radegast asked the Aegislash, who had followed the Reginald boy.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Reggie lied badly.

“It's all so stupid... I’m not as important as people say.”

“You are a Reginald, an old and powerful family name.”

“I’m just a guy. A guy, in a world with billions more. I can’t be any more important than any of them just by being born in a certain family. That’s not an alien concept, is it?”

“No... but it seems to me like you want to prove yourself in your own way,” Reggie harrumphed, “You still brim with the pride of a Reginald.”

Elder caught up by then. “Hey man, you doing alright?”

“Yeah
 well
 uhm
" Radegast sighed as he slowed down his gait. "Is it wrong to have hoped Touko didn’t find Max, so I could find him myself?”

“That’s pride, Lord-Regent,” Elder flatly stated so quickly it was almost embarrassing, “You’ve seen how dangerous pride is.”

The Aegislash translated, and Radegast recalled getting knocked around to an inch from death by Rage. “Yeah
 I guess it is.”

“Let’s go see Skyla,” Elder chimed up. “We’re not stretched between two things anymore. We can help You-know-who.”

Radegast found himself producing the Jet badge, which had slipped into his pocket temporarily. The sixth badge of the Unova League, earned by his friends, but not him. Margriet would have taken this challenge soon enough if not for the developments within the Family. She would have been continuing her career- her dreams- if he hadn’t been careless, if he hadn’t been discovered.

The sewer... the hospital... Agent X... Radegast had no one to blame but himself. He was careless.

It’s not fair for me to be important. All I did was
 exist.
I don’t want power or recognition
 I just want friends.

You have friends, Radegast felt Absolute’s words in his head, Have faith in them, as you always had.

Yeah, that’s right.

Skyva and Sophie sat there, no one seemed to notice them at all. They found each other both rolling their eyes at the drama that was unfolding in front of their eyes. Both girls looked at each other, smiled awkwardly, and looked back at the scene before them. Sophie didn't know any of these people, but was fighting back the small laughter bubbling in her throat.

Skyva was the one to get up. "I am going look for Maxin while you all fight among yourselves. I..." She looked at MewMew to see if it was in agreement with her. It nodded its head and she looked back at him. "I am not the real target and as I have seen for the past few days I can be easily looked over. Plus I will have Sophie with me and she has some pretty good pokemon." She looked at the Drifloon and cringed a little.

"Wait, wha-. No no no you are right, I will tag along." Sophie said, waving a dismissive hand.

"Plus I am not of importance. Plus sitting here is not sitting well with me." Skyva said, she looked over Touko, "You said you looked in the cave and didn't find anything. So I am going to start where I last saw him and back track there." She grabbed her bag and headed out the gym. "If I make it," She turned back to the group smiling, "I'll see you. If not...try not to fight all the damn time." Sophie let a giggle out and waved, her eyes glaring at the group before letting the doors shut behind them.

"Right. So it's settled, then. Redhead and her friend there are picking up where I left off...take extra potions, there's lots of wounded refugees that don't belong in there," Touko said matter of factly, falling into a comfortable role of coordinating and giving orders. "Radegast is apparently flying to a family reunion, though I'm pretty sure Skyla flies a cargo plane that was adapted to passenger use...it doesn't have the range to get much further than the Unovan border. I'm headed north to Icirrus to get in touch with Brycen, maybe he knows something about where Titania disappeared to. Someone needs to cover the Driftveil side of the cave, though...who wants that job?"

“Not a reunion,” Margriet corrected, I doubt mother would want to see him, to be honest
“He’s staying away so we can move in. Let’s go, Logan.”

“Right away,” Logan replied. The two of them headed to Chargestone, utilizing their Flyers to make the quickest time. They stopped at the entrance and stood firm while reinforcements arrived at either entrance of the caves.

—

With Reggie back in his ball and Elder once more being the only active companion, Radegast entered the Hangar/Gym once more.

“Can I speak with Skyla?” Radegast flashed the badge he already had in his hand.

When he got in a meeting, Radegast asked “Could you give me a ride to these coordinates?” At that, the boy produced a tiny ziplock bag. Inside the bag was a slip of paper with latitude and longitude numbers. The paper was worn and torn, and had seen much abuse being in a satchel. The coordinates would bring Radegast rather close to Alola, but not quite. Not many people knew for certain that there was a rock, cracked from having an igloo formed on it, sitting high and dry, away from the tides, at the exact spot the coordinates led.

“I’m not most trainers, heck I’m not even a trainer,” Radegast replied. His demeanour was cool, but his eyes were focused. He examined the map, realizing just how long it would have taken by boat. He wouldn’t have been able to afford twenty days of rations- his new estimate. “A long time ago, I made a promise. I keep my promises, and it's very urgent that I get there.”

Absolute remained hidden in Elder’s ball. She did not want to arouse any suspicion that a Legendary Bird was simply hiding in a kid’s pocket right in front of one of the stronger trainers in the region. However, due to the nature of the removed lock, she can hear what was going on- as can most everyone else in the balls.

Margriet and Logan held defensive positions outside the Northern entrance of Chargestone Cave. Marth the Absol and Margriet's Raikou stood firm. They waited for word from Touko, and they didn't plan to let any hostile escape.

The two of them had stood guard outside of the cavern for a while. They hadn’t received word from anyone, and the sun was beginning to set. “Logan, keep watch. I’ll be back in a flash.” Margriet spoke softly as her Crobat emerged to fly her over the mountain.

She quickly spotted a familiar head of red hair and landed. The model champion hopped from her Crobat, pet his head, and started towards them in a professional manner. “Any news?” Margriet asked, “Have you found this Max?” She had a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach as she got a good look at their faces. There was anger, and a terrible sadness. “We’re not
” Too late, are we?

How would Radegast handle the news, if the worst had happened? Margriet felt she didn’t need to hear the answer anymore, but she willed herself to wait for their response.

Skyva smiled softly at Liam and his choice to go with her. She felt some comfort in being chosen over the brunette. She was about to tell the group that they were going to start heading to the lab when a familiar face laded with a Crobat. Her eyes shifted to the girl and inwardly sighed. Like she needed this right now.

"Have you found this Max?" Sent her fist curling. She didn't need a pokemon to rearrange her face. She took a deep breath and turned to the girl and glared at her. "This Max was indeed found. This Max has been..." She searched around for the words, not really wanting to repeat what was told with her. What could she say? That he died or that he was shot by that stupid cannon.

Sophie looked between Skyva and the other girl who decided to show up. She was going to tell her but Skyva finally spoke. "Why do you have to talk like an arrogant bitch. THIS MAX is...was a person and dear friend. A young boy who had issues, but was so damn happy. THIS MAX was taken from us by some stupid ass Zoroark. THIS MAX will get a revenge, by me if I have to do it by my damn self! You have your information, now get out my way so I can get to a damn lab." Her green eyes went dark, something Sophie had only seen when they were in the woods that night.

Sophie stepped between them and spoke as softly as she could for she was afraid, "Look you got what you need and we are a bit in a hurry, so can you please just go unless you are going to actually be of help?"

The news was hard, regardless of if Margriet already knew or not. Radegast would have to know. Wherever he went, his sister did not know for sure- and that was the safest bet. Despite the hard news, Margriet’s trained sadness management turned quickly to anger management as this insolent girl began to vent at her.

Did Radegast deal with such behaviour when he was with her? She wondered to herself. She had half a mind to slap Skyva for such a bitchy response. They were of the same age, but the red-haired one seemed the child. Her Raikou emerged from his pokeball on his own, who then returned the glare to Skyva. Margriet rose a hand to Raikou’s mane to calm him. No, I will not be Mother. she reminded herself.

“I did not know him,” She replied calmly. Though her Reginald blood began to boil at this girl’s insolence, Margriet kept that anger under wraps. “But that doesn’t mean you can vent at me. If my Uncle is to be believed, I am about to go to war, I and the rest of my family, and their friends, and their friends’ friends.” She did not expect this Skyva to understand that Maxin would only be the first in what’s to come. This Skyva did not appear a soldier.

Margriet was everything Radegast was not. Slim, slender, disciplined, and beautiful where Radegast was thick, burly, laid-back, and average. “I feared this news all the same
Come on, Raikou.” With a snort, the Raikou returned to his Pokeball and Margriet flew off with Crobat.

War? So it was true. Maybe it was time to call the Musketeers together after all.

"All right!" Touko was audibly angry by this point. "You two, head to the Dream World research lab in Castelia, it's right across the street from the gym! I'm going to Alola to find Titania! If we're getting ready for war, it's time to marshal the troops!"

The legendary Terrakion came out of its ball by its own accord, as if the two of them were of one mind. "Dweller...I know your allegiance is to your brothers in arms, even before me. Whether you wish to fight with them or come with me, that is your decision." In response, the legendary horned Pokémon raised its head to the sky and let out a long, almost mournful howl that echoed for miles.

Touko bowed her head in respect. "I...I understand. May Victini smile upon you, so that we may meet again. I'm off to Mistralton to contact Skyla. I've got a plane to catch."

There was an odd sense of dissonance Liam felt around these people. For Touko, Margriet, and Sophie, it was warranted. He didn't know either of them very well and only knew enough about them to realize they held a different viewpoint. But the same held true for even Skyva, whom he'd been around long enough to know she was pretty decent in personal relations. He couldn't quite put a finger on his emotions right now. He was no longer sad. He knew that much. But what was left behind?

These were thoughts running through the back of his mind and for the sake of his personal vendetta against the Psychic Rebellion, he shoved them aside. As the humans conversed and made their plans, he stared off towards Castelia City, where his next destination lie. He was going with Skyva and Sophie. He knew that much. He didn't know what that would mean for him and where his future lie, but he didn't care right now. He heard the mournful cry from the Terrakion and knew that he was gathering allies to aid. It was an event very few individuals got to witness and he passed over it with nary a second though.

"Let's go," Liam said gruffly to Skyva as he began walking towards Driftveil City, taking the lead.

Sophie was the one who wanted to sock the shit out of the brat who came from no where, but Skyva put a hand on her shoulder. Skyva knew she should of handled everything a bit better, but honestly she was just tired of the shit storm that seemed to come her way recently. She just didn't want to deal with a family who seemed to only see themselves as of importance and that they were the only thing that had things to lose.

Sophie kicked dirt at them after they left, "Bitch couldn't fight without her damn pokemon coming out to rescue her. Bitch would have had her face rearranged." Sophie scuffed.

"Let it go. She isn't important. Right now it seems like we are at war? Or going to war. You take care, Touko." She said and waved as she left.

Liam had started the walk toward their destination and any anger or sadness kind of seeped away a little and was replaced with a ting of happiness for a moment. Skyva picked up Liam and held her against her chest. "Right! We have a lab to find." She said a little more enthusiastic than she actually was.

Sophie eyed her and followed. A lot of things had changed in the years that past, had she? Nothing could make up for what she did and telling her could never happen. Fear rose in her as she thought about Banie in his ball. If he came out and spilled everything... she had to get rid of it.

As for Liam, the sudden envelopment of a hug shocked him and his body went stiff. When he realized it was Skyva, however, he relaxed a bit and let her continue. There was something in her hug...something positively placed about her energy. Despite everything that happened, she continued to bring light into the darkness...his darkness. And Liam wanted to accept it. He wanted to hug back and let his emotions pour out of him. He wanted to embrace the hug for all it was worth and carry it with him into battle.

But he couldn't.

And just as quickly as the positive energy swarmed his mind, it went away. Liam accepted the hug, nothing more. His vision stayed focused on the skyline of Castelia as Skyva set him down and he continued to march on. Feelings could come later, he decided.

“What news?”

Margriet landed, and took a deep breath. “We found him.”

Logan read the clenched jaw and the sorrow in Margriet’s eyes, barely being held back out of a sense of duty and pride. “Son of a bitch,” Logan clenched his jaw in turn.

Margriet retrieved her phone from her pocket. She never noticed it before, given that hot-head’s unwarranted reaction, but her hands were trembling. It took two attempts to tap out the correct number.

“Hey Daddy,” Margriet greeted, “Are you with Uncle Tarma?
 Yes
 We’re on our way.”

The two of them rode their respective flyers back to Kanto. The trip was long and quiet, and the sky turned from orange to red to purple. The sun peeked out from behind far-off clouds before dipping past the horizon. By the time they arrived at the Estate, it was dark out, and the sky was a deep blue-green from the lights of Vermillion City.

Marcus, Celadon, Tarma, and all the rest were there- even Tarma’s twin daughters, Nadine and Cori. It seemed the entire family employment was there as well. Some wore black suits and dresses like all did on the job, while others had thrown together casual, yet presentable attire. Percy in particular wore one of his many turtlenecks.

“So you’ve declared war,” Marcus said. Apprently, Margriet and Logan were the last ones to arrive. Logan sat down next to Percy, while Margriet took an empty seat reserved next to Celadon.

“This Psychic Rebellion attempted to murder Radegast,” Tarma replied. He looked older, shockingly older. His salt-and-pepper hair had lost the rest of the aged brown colour, leaving only shades of grey.

If it’s serious enough that he had to fuse
Margriet was about to speak when Celadon’s icy voice chilled the air.

“And?”

“What do you mean and?” Tarma coughed as he tried to stand- only he stumbled back into his chair.

Too weak to stand?! Margriet was capable of fusing with the Aegislash, but she doubted she’d like to see herself in Tarma’s shoes. What kind of power is worth such damage to oneself?

“He’s your son, Celly,” Tarma blurted, “Your blood, and the only legible heir to boot!”

“Even after six years, he’s still never wanted to claim his birthright,” Celadon replied, “He’s never wanted to accept who he is, or what he’s capable of. It’s a disgrace, an insult to the entire family.”

The employees around them did not murmer, but Margriet had spent time working with most of them. She knew all of them were divided on what they thought about the runaway heir. None dared raise any of those concerns when Celadon was within earshot, however. Though the awkwardness was somewhat readable in most of their faces.

“With this foolishness, it’s no wonder women aren’t legible heirs,” Tarma grunted.

The ice of Celadon turned to fire. Before she could speak, Marcus slammed a palm on the table. “Apologize, Brother.”

“Forgive me, I was mistaken,” Tarma bowed his head as his darkened eyes flared in a mischievous joy. “It’s no wonder you aren’t a legible heir,”

“Do you wish to battle?” Celadon barked.

“Please stop,” Margriet spoke up, but her voice was drowned out.

“I would, only Reggie isn’t with me, and all my friends are too old for battle.”

“Not to mention your composition is shoddy at-best.”

Nadine and Cori looked at each other awkwardly. Margriet saw the discomfort in their faces, as well as the faces of those around them. Six years of tension bubbling up, she realised.

“You wanna know the reason why I quit? It wasn’t ‘cause of some nonsense about “spiritual enlightenment,” It was because there was no challenge. I was mopping the floor with the strongest trainers in the world. I could mop the floor with both of-“

“ENOUGH!” Margriet’s voice boomed. Her body seemed to crackle with Raikou’s energy. “If not for my stupid brother, then why not for the people?”

“Margriet-“

“I just got back from a search for a missing child. The Psychic Rebellion
murdered that child, for daring to be a friend to Radegast.”

“What
?” The news washed over everyone like a wave.

“This isn’t the time for feuding and bickering over birthrights and crap,” Margriet continued. It was easy for her because she didn’t have claim to said birthright, ”These monsters will kill more innocents, and they have a weapon capable of doing that.”

Logan brought out his phone. He had taken pictures of the devastation left in the Master Blaster’s wake. When Marcus and Celadon saw them, their faces became unreadable. They never show their sadness.

They were the Reginalds, the Shield of Light, one of the oldest families in Ruulan history. What would the people think of them if they had seen this display?

“Where is the Coat?” Margriet asked.

“With Radegast,” Tarma replied.

“So you know where he is.”

Tarma nodded. “He’s safe, which puts us at the advantage against the Psychic Rebellion.” Tarma and Celadon exchanged glances, but the heat never returned. “The boy has happened upon one of their operations a couple months ago on the PTA. Since then, their leader has had a personal grudge against him.”

The family went on to discuss what they knew about the Psychic Rebellion. The Zoroark Leader, the technology they possessed, and the Master Blaster itself. “Very dangerous, which means I have a couple of theories on how it’s powered. Neither are good, but one sounds especially sickening.”

“All in all, we are at the advantage, because we know their capabilities, a good estimate on their force size, what they’re after, and who they’re after. They do not know us.”

Strategies began to be formulated, and orders passed along to employees- who would then head out in pairs to regroup with their other partners in order to complete their assignments. Many left, until finally there was the Family, and the Three.

“What would you have us do, sir?” Logan asked.

“You’re with Margriet,” Marcus replied, “Arceus knows we can’t afford to be alone when a Champion nearly lost.”

“Percy, you’re to stay with my brother-in-law,” Celadon added, “Since the Coat isn’t here,”

“Yes, ma’am.” Percy returned politely.

Gregory, the driver, left with Marcus and Celadon. When the four remained, Tarma glanced at Margriet. “Even if Radegast took up the mantle, you’d have made a better Reginald leader.”

Margriet flushed. “Well
We all have the voice,” Margriet shrugged.

“Yes, but I’ve never seen Radegast use the voice before that day. You, though
You first barked when you were three. Did I ever tell you that?”

Margriet tilted her head. Tarma chuckled at that. “You told a Pidgey to come to you so you could pet it. Welp, we’ve got our shit to worry about. See you soon.”

The Ferry was an enormous series of steel sheets bolted to great frames. The engines roared to life as the final few vehicles were being loaded.

The vehicles were unusual contraptions, given that Ride Pokemon are a thing. However, these pieces were in mint condition, and all of them appeared to be owned by the same collector.

Said collector was hitting on Margriet, a girl who wore light-coloured baggy pants, a tanktop, and a hoodie. Despite the casual attire, she was still very pretty. Pretty enough for a collector at least twice her age to pretent she was at least four years older.

Logan, being the ever-loyal bodyguard, told the car collector to mind his distance. When the collector attempted to intimidate the bodyguard, Marth emerged and stared down the collector.

“Good pressure,” Logan stroked the Absol’s mane as the collector left with a grumble. Marth purred happily.

“I could’ve handled that,” Margriet smirked as the collector slinked away.

“You could,” Logan admitted, “But the ferry still needs to float.”

The two of them ascended to the upper floors, where sleeping quarters were located on nine of the fifteen deck levels. The vessel was a venerable yacht, designed for long voyages across the vast oceans of Ruula. Some exposed decks were large enough to sport courts for a few sports- such as tennis, and basketball. Margriet had half a mind to play a round of B-Ball, but thought against it. The last time she sank hoops was a long time ago, before he ran away.

They instead found themselves at the arcade, where a series of cabinets were set up. This was the place all of the kids went to while their parents relaxed outside, drinking mai tais or whatever concoction the ferry staff could possibly create.

One such staff member came by with a tray of hors d’oeuvres, Fuscia-style Sushi, said to have come straight from Kanto.

Margriet knew the people who owned the original restaurant from which this recipe was famed. The ferry’s “equivalent” was just that: an “equivalent”. She would have to tell the restaurant owners that the chef aboard the boat left much to be desired. Still, sushi was sushi, and it was marginally acceptable.

“I imagine they reserve the good stuff for dinners,” Logan noted.

“Which Uncle told us to opt out from,” Margriet huffed. She would have liked to attend a fancy dinner like she usually did, wear one of the two dresses she had brought for her time at their destination, but Uncle was very clear: “Keep a low profile.”

“I’m headed to my room,” Margriet announced with a whisper to Logan. Her bodyguard nodded and followed her up to the doors on the third floor deck. Room 205 was a somewhat cramped room as Margriet was used to, with only enough room for two people to walk through side-by-side, but that didn’t take into account the two large travel cases the two of them had packed for their journey.

“I saw a pizza stall nearby that arcade, if you would like me to grab us a bite.”

“Pizza sounds wonderful.”

With that, Logan headed out once more, leaving Margriet alone in her quarters. She produced a pokeball from her belt, and brought out her Poliwrath.

“Keep watch, I’m going to take a shower,” She undressed and headed inside the sleeping quarters’ attached bathroom.

“Aye-aye,” Her Poliwrath replied loyally, as she crossed her arms and faced the door leading out to the corridor.

The bathroom was more like an average-sized shower stall with a sink inside it, and a drain in the middle of the floor for all water that could possibly be procured here. There was barely any room to maneuver, and Margriet was a slim figure to begin with.

By the time Logan came back, Margriet was back in her previous attire, with her hair combed back and wrapped in a tower. Her Poliwrath was also recalled. “Thank you kindly,” She spoke curtly, yet politely, as Logan handed her a pizza the size of a small dinner plate.

“I don’t think anyone could ever mess up pizza,” Logan said before taking a bite. “I stand corrected.”

“That’s what you get for ordering Pinap on pizza,” Margriet giggled.

“It’s Alolan Pizza,” Logan replied as he made a face, “Since we’re headed there, might as well get a lay of the land and all.”

“I’m sure locally prepared Alolan Pizza would be wonderful, despite the Pinap. Honestly, Logan, you’re a treat.” The crust tasted like cardboard. “I’ve had worse on airlines,” she admitted.

Logan had no argument against that point. He knew exactly what Margriet was talking about. Even so, he only continued eating because he was hungry- as was Margriet. “So where’s our first stop?”

“We’ll be arriving at Melemele. In Hau’oli City, we’ll pick up Ride Pagers and Charizards and head to Akala.“

“From there, we search,” Tarma could determine an exact fix, but he had never been to Alola, and thus couldn’t tell any landmarks beyond “Tall mountain, rock looked like igneous.” Akala was known for its volcano, so that narrowed their search down very nicely.

“We’re gonna be here for a while, though,” Margriet harrumphed as she took a bite from her pizza- topped with pepperoni slices. “We’ll also need to feed our Pokemon.”

“I did see a Pokemon feeding area on the way down, taking different stairs,” Logan replied, “That should tide everyone for the whole trip.”

“Good stuff,” The boat was going to be their new home for the next couple of days, but the first day had passed rather quickly. The two of them picked bunks and headed to sleep.

—

Pebbles rattled down the gradual slope as Radegast, Elder, and Jakob slid down the short cliff face and into the fields surrounding the Waste Treatment plant. Suros was back in her pokeball, so Radegast had full use of his arms to help stabilize himself as he slid down.

A wild grimer glanced at them, and Elder waved with a friendly (for a Gengar) smile. The grimer noted the number, and decided not to get in their grill. The intruders seemed to be leaving anyway.

Malie hadn’t changed, and OG Lee was nowhere to be seen. Radegast’s path- while unbeaten and somewhat hazardous- was a shorter route to Malie compared to the typical roads. At this point, OG Lee was likely just arriving near the abandoned Thrifty Mart. “What do you want to do now?” Radegast found himself asking.

“I think we should head back,” Jakob replied, “We did tell them that we’d check out Po Town, and that’s exactly what we did.”

“Seconded,” Elder replied.
