Baleon Orta maintains a number of very popular civilian retreats and vacation spots in it's core.
The best of the best begin their training in Orta, and the stress that comes with having to perform to perfection every single day can often result in washouts. To reduce that stress, Orta has an ordinance in place that actively licenses brothels and bordellos, provided that services are provided to military personnel at significant discount.
That aside, it's also become famous for a very curious construction project that has been kept top secret for a great deal of time. An entire quadrant of the Fortress is off limits to all but the highest ranking officers.

Baleon Orta is known as the premier location for military cadets. Being stationed there means that great things are expected of you, and that terrible consequences await you if you fail to deliver.

A gateway tying the space and time of two distinct locations, a magical artifact known as a world gate, opened. Through this aperture, The Unglauss came forth and began making it's way to Baleon Orta.
Constant and continous chatter flowed between the ship and the station, as it prepared to dock within the shipyard in one of the stations quadrants. It would be but a single addition to the already massive fleet forming at Orta.
Thousands of vessels were already outfitted and taking up holding positions around the station, preparing for an insertion that may yet never come due to the latest information to be received from the scryers. The Princess of Asylia had been kidnapped, this was but one of the reasons why The Unglauss had been forced to return to the station. The normally self sufficient Strike Carrier would never have reason to return for outfitting, fully capable of converting raw materials collected during it's work to whatever it needed to repair itself, or serve other purposes.
Ilia was glowering, situated in her personal quarters, as she laid back and connected via her ships Psionic network with the Baleon's own. She immediately connected to the Knadan and entered the shared mindspace of the commander. Her questions were withheld however, as she saw clearly that the same questions she had were already being asked by others in the space, which took the appearance of a Coffee Shop.
Ilia's lips twitched at that. The Knadan had a strange sense of Style

All right now ladies and gentlemen, if everyone could please park their butts and calm down I'll answer what questions I can.

Ilia sat down, joined by the Captains of the other Strike Carriers, a handful of Lupera Operatives, and an Agent of the Mercenary Guild. She was silent for a moment, until she saw nobody else stepping forward, so she decided to begin.
"Operations at Aschen Space have been going well. We encountered an unforseen psionic entity at Cryo that gave us trouble, but we were able to pull out without issue. The strength of said entity is significant, but nothing that cannot be handled by the fleet." She started.
"Engagements and testing across Aschen space have shown they have a limited capacity for reaction, but their reactions are easily predictable, and with proper planning they can be forced into check mate with limited ability to escape." Another Captain offered.
"Our greatest concern is the Aschen's reliance on their allies. Their Xenophobic nature isn't strong enough to prevent them allying with alien life forms. Proper countermeasures against a multitude of life forms will be required. The Taiyou are not taking part at present, but the should they decide to engage, we've measures already in place to fully punish their lapse in judgement. The New Soverign we've put in power will have little to no difficulty overcoming his enemies with our assistance." One of the Operatives stated.
Ilia shook her head "No, our greatest concern should be the princess. If these barbarians truly took her captive, then that means they found a way to neutralize the Transdimensional Virophage that was protecting her. We cannot underestimate their capacity for destruction. Even monkeys are dangerous if they find a pistol."

Needless to say her taking is a direct affront to our sovereingty. Let me make clear that retaliation will be swift and brutal once it is ascertained who is responsible for this.

With all do respect, Knadan, his majesty isn't likely to authorize a retaliation so long as the threat to his daughter remains viable. We need to verify whether or not they do actually have her. The Aschen are absolutely willing to kill her in retaliation for any further military action we take. In order to be sure they won't do so, in the scenario where they hold her hostage, we'll need to rely on mercenaries. We could have the guild hire someone to investigate the princess's last known location. Maybe some clue of where they took her can be found, and once we have a location, a surgical strike team can be sent in to retrieve her.

Khagaan stepped forward from the crowd of Lupera operatives, their face hidden by a breathing apparatus, breathing with a raspy voice. "They're going well because that's what they want you to think." Khagaan rasped, stepping forward. "Even now they play you like a fool Admiral." They explained. "I have studied them, their history, their tactics. The Aschen have fantasized about this very day for hundreds of years, they've prepared themselves."
A three-dimensional image of Marlene appeared in front of the Lupera operative in the shared mind-space. "She is called Marlene Angelique, she is the individual in charge of the Aschen intelligence apparatus. Don't be deceived by appearances, this individual is neither human, or Aschen. She is aware, and has blocked my attempts to scry. She knows the course of machinations long before they come to pass." Taking a raspy breath, the three-dimensional image disappeared, and the Scylla took it's place. The ship that was at Space Station Z.
"Find Marlene, find the Princess." Khagaan rasped.

"She is called Marlene Angelique, she is the individual in charge of the Aschen intelligence apparatus. Don't be deceived by appearances, this individual is neither human, or Aschen. She is aware, and has blocked my attempts to scry. She knows the course of machinations long before they come to pass." Taking a raspy breath, the three-dimensional image disappeared, and the Scylla took it's place. The ship that was at Space Station Z.

Of course. The princess's safety comes first, but I'll be damned if I'm going to let them get away with it. And you know damn well I have no intention of bucking his majesty's will. Just saying, whatever he wants, I'm ready to let him use it.

Khagaan casts a gaze over to Admiral Thauce, their face obscured by their visor. "We drew first blood, we set upon them with rightous fury. We should be prepared to deal with whatever counterattacks they set upon us. What those in the Gianoan don't realize in their blind arrogance, is the resourcefulness of a cornered animal, when it knows it has nothing to lose, when it's certain demise looms." They rasped. "They will fight with every claw they can muster, to prolong life. A race percieved to be so weak, were so resourceful as to pull this off? We must consider the implications." The image of Marlene returned. "If we're to minimize additional setbacks, this woman must die."
