Setting
The city has mostly stone pathways and bridges, being situated around a giant lake, and the roads circle it entirely, providing several good views. Around the city, one can find a Public Market, several small business, and several manors and farms, all aimed at retaining the older feel.
There is no Pokemon Center however, and the traditional Poke Mart is also absent, however, both services that would be provided can be found at alternative places in the city. The Proving Hall provides the biggest tourist draws these days however.
"I hope things are going better on your end than on mine."
"Well, I've heard of falling for someone, but this might be a bit too literal." He finishes it with a cocky half grin, smiling down at her as he thinks of a way to salvage the situation.
"Well, how was your day?"
"Contact me the usual way if anything comes up, I'll be back." And with that he walks out the door. Walking slowly down the steps until he reaches the garage they rented as part of their room, throwing on his helmet he's off, the roar of his bike the only thing heralding his departure. The drive is short, less than ten minutes at the pace he kept, and he pulls into a blind alley a ways down from the Bakery that HQ had tagged for him to hit. These sorts of jobs weren't his favorite, but he didn't turn down jobs, and he didn't fail so walking a ways down he dons the mask and keeps going, confidently striding towards the front door of the bakery. That is, until he step through the front door and sees one of their primary objectives manning the counter. Eyes going wide, he swipes the mask off his face before she can see and stuffs it in to the back pocket of his jeans, stutter stepping to change his stride to casual confidence he walks up to the counter.
"Fancy meeting you here," His voice is smooth as he leans against the counter, but his thoughts are anything but. Of all the rotten luck! Someone at HQ is getting an ass chewing for this one.
"I do, but I'm pretty particular about their diets," He answers, grinning wryly as he counts out the money. Taking the bag of pastries from the counter, making like he's going to leave. "Well, I'll see you in the morning then,"
Blake had spent this time not bothering Ozzy, mostly because he figured it would be really annoying to have someone talk in your ear while you're trying to work. So he kept quiet unless it was something important. Naturally, nothing important had come up at all, so he had just waited bored in the apartment going over the equipment and keeping an eye out for the few stuffed up in the other apartment.
He makes it back to the apartment without issue and makes his way back up to the apartment muttering, "I'm back." through the headset before opening the door.
"What do you mean a conspiracy?"
"I haven't seen her without that Ralts and Staryu constantly flanking her. Kinda like a bodyguard if you ask me. She's got four pokeballs-" he said, holding up his fingers, then folding one down after he named each pokemon, "-Ralts, Staryu, Sandslash, Charmeleon. And now, on the day you go to jack the bakery, she's there too? With her bodyguards? C'mon. That's getting too much to be a coincidence."
"We'll just have to keep an eye out, they don't know us specifically, they can't. I'll continue observing the girl, I've already begun to insinuate myself into her life," Here he pauses, wandering if he was actually the one being played before shaking it off, he couldn't start doubting himself now. "Then when we have absolute proof, we take them down, or we take them out. Cool?"
