Setting
Despite this, he couldn't relax as a certain demon seemed to always be on his mind, and with a small groan he shook his head, rubbing his forehead with the tips of his fingers, grumbling quietly to himself. "We need to just... Have a talk... A nice, normal talk with no drama... Plus Darius makes the best tea..." -c-
The demon didn't even have time to grab his glasses before he disappeared into a flurry of black feathers, he was drawn to where ever Gamble was, there was no escaping it. Appearing not too far away from Gamble, in another flurried mass of black feathers, breathing heavily as he squinted around slowly.-c- ”
"Master Gamble, are you alright? Did you summon me? Are you hurt?"-d- ”
As the feathers cleared and he saw Darius standing there he blinked slowly, a red blush creeping to his features as he realized he was wearing nothing to a towel, bandages tangled around his body. He then realized that the demon was also in the same of undress and he let out an odd, chocked gasp before hurriedly clumsily to his feet.
"D, Darius! You're-I mean-Why are you? Oh God." He groaned, turning away and covering his cheeks as his blush grew and seemed to spread over his body in embarrassment. "Erm... N, no! No I'm fine, you don't need to worry but um..." -c-
"Is this bandages...? What happened? Master Gamble?! You didn't tell me who shot you!" Darius said hurriedly, eyes widening slightly as his shoulders tensed up, glaring at the smaller male, waterdroplets hanging onto the demon's pale body and strips of hair, not being able to evaporate into the air, for...reasons unknown.

The young man looked back only when Darius had finished speaking, a slight frown coming to his features at the glare, lifting a hand to pat the demon's that rested on his shoulder. "Ah... I, I'll explain everything, you can ask me whatever you like and... And I'll tell you but... But could I..." He trailed off for several seconds, eyes following a droplet of water that dripped from a strand of hair, watching it trail down Darius' cheek, neck, over his chest and down to- "Clothes!" He suddenly shouted, snapping his head back up, blushing furiously again. "We need clothes!" -c-
"I'll be... In the living room whenever you're ready..." He added in a somewhat breathless tone, thinking about adding 'Would you like some tea?' but then he reasoned that Darius would probably want to make it himself, and so left it there, walking into the main room in a strange forced walk. ”
He had forgotten his glasses still, as they came last next to clothes, he didn't want to spend any time away from Gamble when he was needed so urgently. The demon returned back to where he once stood, leaving another few feathers upon the floor, he would have to make sure he cleaned them up aftward...squinting around slightly, the demon walked toward a wall, keeping one hand resting upon it while he tried to figure which way was to the kitchen, leaving his shirt open, and black hair still slightly wet as it was pushed forward into his face a little.
"You could have asked for a hand, you know... I'd like to help you when you need it." Without waiting for a possible complaint to this he took one of Darius' hands, walking backwards towards the living room. "You forgot your glasses... Still it doesn't matter, its only me here." He said in a slightly embarrassed tone, placing the demon's hand carefully on the arm of a chair before sitting in one of his own, wincing slightly as he banged his shoulder.
"Ah, clumsy." He grumbled before looking to the demon. "So... I take it you want to ask me some things...?"
"Yes, Master Gamble...your shoulder...is it...I mean....I am finding it rather hard to be someone you can depend on....when I can not get to you when you most need me." Darius admitted gently, looking downward at his hands. "I do not wish to anger you with my ignorance My Lord, but, please dont be angry with me for being unable to aid you..."
Darius felt so much like a faliure right there and then, giving that they hadn't even conversed properly about the 'feeling' thing the other evening.
"Darius... You can't be with me every minute of ever day... If I fall over in the street and you aren't there to stop me, would that be a failure as well? No, of course not... I know that you wa-" He swiftly corrected himself. "-That your duty is to protect and guard me, and I'm thankful for that... And if there is ever a time when I'm worried something bad will happen, then I will call for you... Alright?" -c-
"I appreciate your words, Master Gamble...and wish that I could do something to help you gain a better relationship with your Lady..." He said slowly, closing his eyes to think deeply, water dampening the shoulders and collar of his white shirt, having yet to button it up, but seeing as there was more pressing matters at hand, the demon hadn't even had it cross his mind.
There was then silence for several moments as he continued to button the shirt, bending down slightly as he reached lower buttons before he eventually spoke again. "I just think that I should stay here for a while... Limit what damage I could do, you know?" He then finished, standing straight again before he cleared his throat, gesturing to the shirt. "Ah... Not sure why I did that... Sorry if I... Invaded personal space or... Something." He said with an embarrassed chuckle, scratching the back of hi
"My apologies on that respect as well, as soon as I felt your need for me..." He trailed off, resting a hand over the area of his heart, looking off toward the side. "It pulls at me, sort of like a rope....t'is rather difficult to explain to you..."
