Introduction
The Koichi family now possesses the Zodiac Curse. Thirteen members of the family suffer the loneliness that comes with the curse. Whenever they are hugged by someone of the opposite sex, they transform into their Zodiac animal, this makes getting close to people impossible.
There are only 12 Zodiac animals, then one unfortunate animal who never made it into the Zodiac... The cat. The cat's curse is the worst of all.
The story states that long ago, god held a banquet for all the animals. The rat told the cat, the banquet was the next day. So while all the animals were having a good time, the cat was at home dreaming of the banquet that would never come. The cat never made it into the Zodiac, and it's all because of the rat.

Kazu was sprawled out on the roof of the smaller house belonging to the Koichi family. His head lay against his folded arms and the sun beat down on his closed eyes, warm days like this were rare during the current season, and Kazu wanted to soak in every moment. Of course anything beat staying inside the house with the others.
Light orange hair was tossed messily over his eyes, as he sat up. Most of the others would be coming home from school or work around this time, he hoped that the leader of the family wouldn't find out he skipped school again... but his ego wouldn't allow him to hide or admit he feared punishment.

Hands stuffed in his pockets, Yuji just gazed at the ground solemnly as he headed back to the house. Another girl confessed to him today, oh what fun it was being a prince and then feeling a thorn in your heart when you just can't please them.
His odd red hair dangled infront of his forehead, tickling his nose as his bangs were a bit long. Breathing softly, the vampiric looking boy pulled out a red inhaler, now at the doorstep of the house as he solemnly sucked in through the tube, making a soft sigh as he shoved it back in his pocket.
Yuji looked up, seeing the cat ontop of the roof. Raising his arm to wave, he added a small comment. "Don't fall off."

Miku slowly walked home from school, her bag hung over one shoulder. She was silent, walking by herself once again. Her gray eyes gazed over the cement floor as she walked forward, not paying attention to anything which was in front of her. Even so, she seemed to know what was there. As she neared the house, Miku slid the front door open and glanced around. It was silent; empty...She didn't think anyone else was home...Miku trotted up to her room, threw her backpack onto her bed and let a soft sigh slip past her lips...Gazing out of the window, she could see the sakura tree which was planted in their yard. It was her favorite tree; it was beautiful...Miku decided to go out and sit under it to breathe in it's beauty...She walks out of the house once again, her shoes clapping against the wooden floor. She walks through the crisp grass towards the sakura tree. Once she reaches it, Miku stares silently up at it, letting the wind blow through her hair and watching as the peddles of the beautiful tree fell all around her. She gazed at it, day dreamed of her past, present, and future...Miku thought for a moment, as well...when would the others arrive?...Although she did prefer to be alone....

Kazu glared down at Yuji and jumped up at his comment "Like I would fall!" he growled, trying to calm himself he sat back down, leaning his cheek against his hand he mumbled "I'd just land on my feet anyways." The sun was setting and he knew that meant soon he would have to go inside to eat... at the same table with the rat.

Sayu was doing more running than walking on the way home from school. She liked to start dinner early and she still had many chores to do. Nobody ever told her she had to do chores or cook dinner, but she felt the need to repay the family for taking her in, and nobody really complained about the clean house or the home cooked meals so she happily remained doing those things for the family.
Purple eyes showed a gleam of happiness when she saw Miku, her eyes always lit up when she saw members of the family. She gave a pleasant wave and ran inside, finally taking a breath, she grabbed an apron and began cooking.

Yuji forced a painful smile across his face as he entered the house, setting his bags down against the wall and leaning against it with his arms crossed. It fade, and he was just staring at the carpeting in the house now.
Sliding down the wall and into a sitting position, his chest rising up and down softly, he rummaged through his bag and pulled out a black book with the word "Yuji" on it in kanji.
Opening the lock in which the book had, taking apart the chain, he opened the book and solemnly began writing. It was like a diary almost, keeping his most deep and darkest secrets, what he thought about the cat, and more importantly, his life. He used a red ink pen, and some of the writing dripped, almost seeming like blood.
".....and so, I guess it's my fault for making people sob. I'm the rat after all, the one whom tricked the cat, the one whom began the hatred towards the cat. Fun... he wrote after a long paragraph, and then stopped, setting the pen on the book and resting his arms ontop of it, laying his head in the gap between his arms and just staring at his writing, blinking his half-closed eyes.

Miku didn't know any of the family members well, but that was her own fault. She didn't talk much, to anyone...But it was nice to know that some of them were still willing to treat her nicely, all the same. Miku sighs and closes her eyes, tilting her head upwards toward the sakura tree once again. A pink peddle lands in her hair, but she doesn't notice it...Miku could simply stand there all day....

He watched as Kazu walked towards his room, and decided that he would go try to get Kazu to be a bit more friendly - maybe even come to school more often! But first, Eric entered the kitchen; he needed to pay back the family, otherwise he wouldn't be able to afford staying here. As he walked in, he saw Sayu already there. "Hey, Sayu! Whatcha makin? Need any help there?" As he said this, he was already pinning up his hair and putting on an apron; the helping wasn't really a question. Everyone else told him that using hair pins was girly, but he refused to cut it, preferring to let it grow.

Kazu was pulled away from his thoughts by the smell of food, excitement got the best of him and he ran from his room. Before he could make it to the kitchen he tripped. "Damn it...." he growled and picked up the book that caused him to lose his footing. He let his eyes wander over a few words. "What is this garbage?..." he mumbled then turned to the cover to see Yuji's name.
He walked the rest of the way to the kitchen and threw the book at the back of Yuji's head "Here you damn rat... Next time don't leave it where I'll trip on it!" he shouted, immediately feeling a bit upset that he yelled when Yuji clearly didn't do anything. Inori was walking home from school like she usually did, it was a fairly normal afternoon, not much happened at school though. Inori didn't really have friends in fear that she would say something or do something that would make them upset. The sky was turning orange as she kept walking back home. Her surroundings

Sayu smiled cheerfully holding up a large wooden spoon. "Oh hello Eric, Welcome home." She looked back at the noodles. "Yakisoba. It's almost done actually." She frowned a bit when Kazu shouted, but tried to keep her eyes on Eric who kindly offered to help her. "You should relax and I'll take care of everything." She noticed Yuji doing the dishes and wanted to offer to do those as well, but he seemed preoccupied so she decided against disturbing him, instead she turned her focus to Kazu "You shouldn't throw things Kazu... You could hurt Yuji." even when trying to sound strict she had doubt in her voice.

Yuji nearly toppled forward when the book was thrown at the back of his head. Stopping the cleaning of the dishes, he cupped his hand with water in it and walked over, splashing right at Kazu, then turning to go back to the kitchen.
"You better not have read it, stupid cat." He retorted, grabbing a small cloth to dry his hands as he leaned down to pick up his book. Setting it next to him, his gaze solemnly turned to Eric and Sayu.

Izaya smiled, and sighed as he was finally getting home from work. Actually he never did anything but stand around and looked like he was working, and he's still getting paid. He didn't have his bike, or any other transportation vehicle, so he decided to walk instead, he was too lazy for all that, especially for walking. But, what the heck, he might as well just get some excersise, starting off with walking. Putting his earphones in his hear he turned on his music and listened to all the songs that he loved so dearly. Shaking his head so the hair over his eye, wouldn't get in his eye. He looked up at Kazu from a faraway distance who was on top of the roof,"He skipped school." He shook his head as he kept on walking torwards the house. When he made it he made his way inside without slamming the door and sat at the couch closing his eyes, as he was tired and wanted to take a quick nap.
Eric was startled by Kazu's shouting 'I really want everyone to get along..., but he grinned at Sayu. "You're gonna need more than that to feed everyone. I'll stir-fry some vegetables or something, don't worry about it." He turned on the fire, threw the pan on it and began to look for something to cook. As soon as he found some bok choy, It'll do, I suppose..., he tossed it in and began to fry it. As this was happening, he looked around to see who had come home already.
He realized Yuji had said something to him during this time. "Oh, I'm fine, thanks. But hey, why don't we save those for after dinner? Could you please set the table instead?"

"I didn't read your stupid book.." he huffed at Yuji, slightly twitching as he lied. He only skimmed it, and didn't really understand what it was saying, but he still read it.

Naturally his pride caused him to be rude as a way to deal with others. When Akashi questioned everyone about their day, Kazu ignored and began twirling the chop sticks between his fingers.

Kaji smiled as he was most pleased with himself, "It's beautiful!" After being stuck in his room all day again. His stomach growled with hunger as he didnt eat much at lunch. His long white bangs fell off his face as he looked up to all his swords, gold, and silver. He looked out the window to see Miku standing under the Sakura tree again. "I will never fully understand these children." Kaji chuckled to himself as he caught himself in a glorious mood over his beautiful painting. "Sachiko will love it!" He gleamed as he thought of his baby sisters approval.

Trying to imitate what Kazu was doing with his chopsticks, he sighed helplessly as it flew across the table. Wrinkling his nose, his back straightened up a bit as he saw Kaji enter the area. Cocking his head to the side he ducked as a book went flying in Kazu's direction. That was a little to close for comfort.
"Hey, Kaji-san~" A cheeky smile still plastered on his face, "How was your day today?" He halfway hoped the man would answer him, he doubted it though. He tried hard to interact with the others of the house hold, but he seemed to take a liking to Sayu and Izaya more. The rest were hard to talk to.

Collectibles
By creating Collectibles, you can reward your players with unique items that accentuate their character sheets.
Once an Item has been created, it can be spawned in the IC using /spawn Item Name (case-sensitive, as usual) — this can be followed with /take Item Name to retrieve the item into the current character's inventory.
Mobs
Give your Universe life by adding a Mob, which are auto-replenishing NPCs your players can interact with. Useful for some quick hack-and-slash fun!
Mobs can be automated spawns, like rats and bats, or full-on NPCs complete with conversation menus. Use them to enhance your player experience!
