Keavaris Village

Adrian glanced over at Lorelei and then laid back in the grass. He felt like that wasnt the answer she wanted. But Adrian wasnt familiar with personal connections and all the labels people had. He didnt understand why a label was even needed. He laid silently for a few minutes before closing his eyes. "Do you not want to be friends?" He asked simply. "I just dont know what else you would call us...but friends dont kiss each other..So I dont know what to call us.." He said, his face flushing slightly when he talked about kissing her.

Lorelei stayed quiet. "We can do the who girlfriend and boyfriend thing." She whispered, not knowing why she couldn't speak louder or look at him. She laid back too and stared up at the stars that were coming through. "But we don't have to if you don't want. I know you don't like that kind of stuff so I don't want to do anything you don't like." Lorelei was scared and nervous. She just wanted to roll away and off the island. She turned her head and looked at the cliff wondering if she could get there before Adrian got to her.

Adrian opened his eyes and stared up at the sky before glancing at Lorelei. She was staring at the edge of the island again like she wanted to jump right off. "We can..Try it. I'm not completely opposed to things like that you know..." He said before sitting up a little bit and looking down at her. "And no, you couldnt reach the edge of the island before I got to you. So dont even try it." He said, knowing exactly what she was thinking.

Lorelei sighed and looked up at him. "Get out of my head, Adrian." She smiled softly, "I don't know what you are opposed to and not opposed to when it comes to things that deal with... emotions. I only know what I know because my family smothers you with it. If I didn't have them I would be completely lost." She said softly. "I am sorry for putting your hand up my shirt before you left. After Blair and Misha almost died, I figured it was pretty... uhm... awkward for you." She said and reached up, putting a hand on his cheek.

Adrian smiled when she told him to get out of her head. He liked knowing what she was thinking. "You'll just have to learn to ask me about things then." He said softly before she put her hand on his cheek. "It's okay. I just wasnt expecting it, and I know you didnt know I would react that way. Sorry for snapping away so quickly.." He said softly.

Lorelei laughed softly, "It's fine. I know you didn't mean anything bad about it." She dropped her hand. "You missed it though, the look on their faces. It was beautiful, especially Blair's. He looked like you had just killed someone... maybe we killed him a bit on the inside. I take that as an achievement." She covered her mouth and laughed a bit before looking up at him. "I hate you missing moments when it is clear that you should be there."

Adrian laughed and shook his head. "Yeah Blair told me he threatened to have me arrested if we did anything and you were not happy about that. He wouldnt actually arrest me though you know. He was just playing with you about that." He said shaking his head a little bit. "Misha on the other hand died apparently. He's go a daughter your age so he had a moment about it." He laughed a little. "I hate that I have to miss out on things too. But, its only for three more months, and then I can come back and things will be normal, and we can laugh at Blair, Misha, and Elise again." He said with a smile.

"Good," She glared up at him, "I think I made him think about how he sees Ivie." She laughed evilly. Then shook her head and picked a flower and placed it behind his ear. "I like Elise. She reminds me of a less mommy version of Roshia." She giggled. "Three more months? Why does that sound way too long?" Lorelei sighed. "You sure I can't just go visit? Might get lost, but I am sure I would pop up eventually." She smiled.

Adrian thought about things for a minute. "Well I'm sure you could visit with Misha some time. He's supposed to visit like once a month anyways just to keep an eye on me. No clue why though, its not like I ever leave the dorm." He said with a shrug. "They have extra rooms for people who come to visit the teachers since the actual school is about an hour away from the city and its a hassle for people to go back and forth. You'd have to talk to Misha about getting you a visitors pass though" He said looking over at her.

Lorelei smiled evilly. "If he doesn't I will just make him cry till he does. Can't be too hard, right?" She said. Lorelei thought about what it would be like. She had never been off the island unless it was to the kingdom, but that was really rare. Going to the city was rare for her until Adrian and everyone came into her life. Lorelei began rolling then stopped and sat up. She sat on her knees and looked over her him. "You may lose me in the crowd.." She smiled and stood up before walking to the edge and looking down at the water. "Or I might find my way to the sea." She looked back at him.

Adrian laughed a little. "He cried when I told him I was coming over to see you." He said before nervously watching her walk over to the edge of the island. "Am I going to have to hold your hand the whole time you're visiting to make sure we dont lose you?" He joke and got up, then walked to the edge to stand next to her. "Speaking of Misha, he's gonna kill me if I dont visit the lab tomorrow, they wanna see you too" He said looking down at the water.

"Did you come here to grab me in case I jump?" She looked up at him. "Because I won't jump. I have a couple more babies to deliver... then I will jump." She joked about the last part. "But I will come to the lab, I just have to check on the twins first before I do. Then we can both make Misha cry. Maybe we can scare Blair some how." She tapped her finger on her chin. Lorelei leaned close into Adrian and poked his belly.

Adrian glared, half playfully at Lorelei. "You better not ever jump. I'd be mad if you did" He said looking back down at the water. "I'm not gonna go till the afternoon anyways. Ive got some stuff I wanted to do in the morning." He said then raised an eyebrow at Lorelei poking his stomach. "Is that your way of telling me that college is making me pudgy?" He joked.

"You have gone a bit soft." She smiled, "but you are still firm." Lorelei said and walked away from him. She thought about what he had to do in the morning and thought about asking him, but if he wanted to tell her he would. Lorelei crouched down and played with a stand alone flower before picking it and weaved it into one of her braids. Looking back at him she smiled softly, "I hope I'm not keeping you."

Adrian sighed and slouched before smiling and watching her braid a flower into her hair. "Nope. I dont have anywhere to be. Told Misha I would probably be out for a while. He just cried. Had to promise to eat breakfast with him in the morning. He's making me play the piano too. I'm sure he'll cry then too." Adrian chuckled and reached over and poked the flower in her braid.

She giggled, "How does that man have any water in his system? He could cry oceans." Lorelei said and looked up at him. "Piano? Fancy." She teased and began to sing. She danced slowly and the fireflies began to fly.

Adrian wondered how misha actually stayed hydrated with all that crying. He should have died of dehydration by now. He was snapped out of his thoughts by Lorelei's singing though. She had a beautiful voice and when she danced with the fireflies Adrian felt like he was going to melt into a puddle and fall into the ocean below them if he wasnt careful. When she was done singing he walked bak over to her, gently moving a strand of hair out of her face. "You sing beautifully..." He whispered, his hand lingering on her cheek.

Lorelei smiled up at him, her hand resting on his as she leaned her cheek against it. "Thank you." She said softly. She never really sang in front of people, it had always been in front of Adrian. The light of the fireflies made her eyes a shinning yellowish green. Despite it being March it was still getting cold at night. Lorelei moved in closer so she could suck up his warmth.

Adrian smiled down at Lorelei, she looked absolutely stunning with the lightening bugs lighting up her eyes the way they did. When she moved closer his heart practically skipped a beat. She was always making his heart do weird things like that. Adrian leaned in to kiss Lorelei, hesitating for a second before finally kissing her softly on the lips. He pulled away and turned red. "Sorry..." He mumbled staring off at some fireflies. Adrian noticed it was getting a little cold and dark and that he better be getting Lorelei home soon. "We better get going huh? Cant be keeping out out when its chilly." He said, speaking softly.

Lorelei tensed a bit, hoping he wouldn't back out of it. Then he kissed her and she melted into him. Lorelei kissed him back and pouted when he pulled away. "Never apologize..." She whispered, "for kissing me, please." Her fingers touched her lips and she nodded at his request to bring her home. She grabbed his hand and walked with him back to Elwin's old house. "If I don't let you go now I will never do so and then Misha is going to drown me in his tears." She smiled softly. She pulled him down to her level and kissed him back. "I will see you in the afternoon tomorrow." She whispered and smiled before disappearing into the house.

Adrian smiled and waited for Lorelei to close the door before he walked off back to Misha's house. Misha's wife made jokes about Adrian being out past dark and Misha was just his normal teary eyed self talking about how he just loved that Adrian had Lorelei in his life and how Lorelei was such a sweet girl too. Adrian ignored them for the most part and eventually made it to bed. By morning Adrian had been up for hours, just staring at the ceiling of the room he was staying in. Eventually he did get up and wander around Misha's ridiculously large house. He played the piano until he heard someone coming down the stairs and then left the room before they got there. Misha came down and made breakfast shortly after and the whole family came and ate breakfast, and then Adrian went out for a while to do what he needed to get done.


Ofelia got up pretty early in the morning, having fallen asleep earlier than usual. Upping the dose of tea she was taking had finally started to work on her, though they did end up having to up the dose to about six drops just to keep her knocked out for at least eight hours. She got up and showered then got dressed and wandered over to Lorelei's lab to check up on the two new parents. She walked in quietly and whispered a hello once she saw Bo passed out in Rowans arms. "How was your first night as parents?" She asked quietly.

Lorelei had wandered around the house a bit, curious about what was Elwin's house before going to bed. She was happy that Adrian was back and that he was there to help with the babies. Now if he could only be there when Ofelia went into labor. She climbed into bed and fell asleep almost instantly. She didn't think she was that exhausted.

Roshia was up every time the babies cried, even though Rowan got up too. She seemed natural at this. Get up, feed, change, and put them back to bed. They slept for the most part of the night, though Roshia only slept two hours at a time. She would wake up and go check on the babies to see if they were still breathing. Arrow hadn't fallen asleep till late, but now she was up again in Roshia's arms.

When Ofelia came in she smiled, "Pretty good, though I think Rowan about knocked me down the first time they started crying at night. I am starting to wonder who the mother really is." She joked. Arrow was tucked protectively in her arms trying to follow the movement of her mother's hair.

Lorelei had finally woke up and jumped out of bed, she wanted to be up earlier than this. "Crap." She mumbled and ran to get dressed before hurrying out and slipping into her house. Ofelia was there, "Good morning. Rowan... how can you manage to be paler?" She asked and shook her head. "I have to give you something before we leave today." She said before going over to Bo. "I will check her first, okay?" She said softly and took Bo from his arms, though Rowan looked like he had just been slapped. Lorelei shook her head and checked on her heart and other things. Bo had woken up and began to cry. "I know, sweet little snow flake. But I gotta." She said softly before finishing up and swaddling her. Bo seemed to calm down after. She picked her up and poked her little nose before giving her to father.

Next she went to Roshia who had Arrow and waited for Roshia to give her the baby. Roshia looked up at her and slowly gave her Arrow. "Thank you." Lorelei said and held her close before taking her to the table and examining her. She listened to Arrow's heart and lungs. Arrow clung to one of Lorelei's braids. "I am gonna need that back after." She giggled. "Arrow's heart and lungs sound fine. She seems to not have really taken any damage... ow ow ow." She leaned her head back as the baby pulled her braid. Lorelei worked her little hand off of the braid and swaddled her up. "And it looks like she is a strong one." She smiled and gave her back to her mommy.

"You are free to go whenever you like. Oh! Rowan... you." She took the baby from him again and gave her to Ofelia. She listened to his heart and nodded. "I figured that. You can only have coffee once a day and if you want something to drink you have to drink this tea," She handed him the same tea the girls had to drink, "This one too at least two times a day." She handed him the calming tea. "Or anything that doesn't have caffeine in it, but you do have to drink that first tea at least three times a day." She said. Roshia laughed in victory.

Rowan just straight up shook his head. "Whats wrong with my ticker? Am I gonna die? I think i'd probably rather die than drink that nasty crud again." He said stubbornly. Ofelia groaned and shook her head. "If me and Ros can learn to stomach it, you can too. Or you could you know..Just die and I'll steal your children and wife and claim them as my own. Thats fine too Row." She said with a smile as she stroked Bo's cheek. Rowan just glared at Ofelia.

Adrian finished up his plans for the morning way earlier than he intended to. He didnt want to go back to Misha's because he had run away from having to play the piano in front of people, and he didnt care to go to the office since no one was there..And wandering around the city was pointless, so he just walked back to Lorelei's lab. He knocked lightly before walking in and stopping in the doorway as Ofelia turned and looked at him with an evil smirk on her face. "Mornin' Adrian." She said sweetly. "Uh..Good morning?" He said raising an eyebrow at her. Ofelia just turned and coo'd at the baby, leaving Adrian to wonder what the heck that look was for.

Roshia smiled evilly at Rowan. "Oh this is going to be so much fun." She giggled and then went back to Arrow. "I think we can go home. Maybe we can miss your mother before she comes. Ofelia come help me dress the babies to go outside." She said and walked into Lor's room. She laid Arrow gently down and dressed her in the light pink suit while Bo had the yellow one. "Well if you have a baby boy... we can give you everything that Elwin made." She smiled. "And he will make a lot of girl clothes again. It doesn't take him long to make these. I heard he can get ten baby outfits done in twenty minutes. I am not shocked. His hands work so fast." She smiled.

Lorelei smiled at Adrian, "Good morning. I wasn't expecting you." She said softly then glared at Rowan. "You will drink that tea." She said simply before smiling back up at Adrian. "Once they are out we can do something before we head to the lab."

Ofelia happily followed Roshia and helped change Bo. "Ugh i cant believe how cute they are. Makes me want to melt...I feel kinda like I'll probably have a boy..I dont know why, just kinda feels like thats the baby is going to be this time." She said as she finished up changing Bo and picked her back up and snuggled her. "Elwins really gifted at sewing huh? I heard he did stuff like that, but I still dont really know him that well" She said softly.

Rowan shook his head again and gathered up the stuff they needed before taking the babies home and then waited by the door for Roshia and Ofelia to come back out with his beloved baby girls.

"I finished what I had to do a lot earlier than I expected to, so I came over here because I'm hiding from Misha's wife" Adrian explained and went to his corner with his bag. "Oh I remembered to bring that book today...What did you want to do before we head off to the lab?" He asked, wondering if she had something planned or if they were just going to hang out in her lab again.
