Adrian stood there for a minute and then decided to pipe up. "Maybe she loves him because his tears fuel her immortality! Ive known her since I was eleven and i'm pretty convinced she doesnt age." He said crossing his arms. Misha just shook his head. "I actually have to go out for something work related so it will just be you and Nina if you head back this way. Oh that doctor stopped over yesterday after you left the lab. Got things set up for the day after you leave at one." Adrian nodded and looked at Lorelei. "I got you an appointment with that one doctor you said you couldnt get a hold of about baby stuff with Ofelia. Just in case something happens when I'm not here. Oh, and I guess I'll go to the lab with you, I'll just talk to Blair and Elise while you have your chat with Loris." He said looking over at the pictures. "You two were ogling me when I was little werent you...." He said glaring at Misha. Misha chuckled and went to change the subject. "Elise does need to settle down huh? The girl worries me." He said rubbing the back of his neck.
Lorelei looked at them both and smiled, "Thank you. Woman doesn't know how to stay the hell in one place. I don't know who is worse her or Ameria." She shook her head. Lorelei thought about what Misha said and had hoped that doctor could check her out before she completely lost her again. Though her and Ameria were certain that she wouldn't be able to have kids. Lorelei turned her attention to Adrian. "Oh yes... you were quite adorable. Much cuteness I must say. Those big eyes of yours and how tiny you were. All the cuteness." She said teasingly. "So glad you haven't stepped into my parent's house. Like I need you to see me. You thought your bodies on your table looked dead... you hadn't seen me sick." She smiled jokingly.
Her attention turned back to Misha, "Who doesn't worry you, Misha? Elise wants babies, Loris has nice hair and she has pretty eyes. They would make some pretty babies. I might just have to snatch one up. I am sure Loris wouldn't mind." She laughed, joking of course. Well sort of.

"I was weird. Also, I'm pretty sre dead bodies would look more dead than you ever could if you're still alive...Since you know..theyre actually dead..." Is all Adrian said about all of that. Misha shook his head and sighed at him. "Elise has had baby fever since i met that girl when she was just a teenager. It never ends with her. Blair says she asks him to give her babies at least twice a week. Its a good thing that boy thinks with his brain before he does things." Misha said with a sigh. "Loris doesnt worry me most days, Blair only worried me when he was being a play boy. But that seems to have ended since he met this Ivie woman. Kid is finally shaping up! Ugh all my babies are growing up...Especially my Adrian.." Misha said, trying not to cry about it. A younger woman about Adrians age walked down the stairs, she looked really similar to her mother but with Misha's tan skin, and she had emerald green eye. "Oh, dad why must you cry all the time..." She sighed before she saw Lorelei. SHe looked between Lorelei and Adrian and then smirked. "Oh a girlfriend huh? Its about time Adrian, gosh." She said, walking up to him and pinching his cheek. "I was afraid you were going to let those good looks go to waste." She giggled before kissing Adrian's cheek and walking out the door. Misha shook his head. "That girl I swear..."
Lorelei blinked at Adrian for a moment before slowly glaring at him. Then she looked over at Misha and smiled, "She was cute... might have to trade in Adrian." She joked before heading to the door. "Come on Adrian. We better go before I tell Misha all the fun we had last night. It isn't a party till someone's clothes come off... am I right? I wouldn't know... never been to one. Might have to if I am going to a college. Whoop whoop!" She laughed as she walked out of the house.
Misha blinked at them and then got a scary look on his face. Adrian gave him a sheepish smile and bolted for the door just as Misha tried to get him. Arian grabbed Lorelei's hand and tugged her away before Misha decided to kill him over Lorelei's little joke. Eventually he did slow down, but kept holding Lorelei's hand. "He's gonna kill me now you know?" He said with a dramatic sigh. "And I would be hard pressed to let you go to any college parties. Theyre eight kinds of ridiculous and i'd lose you in the crowd." He said, putting his other hand in his pocket as they walked.
She let out a small laugh, "Aww you are no fun. I should live a little since I already died a lot." She joked and leaned into him. "I am going to have to thank Misha again for getting me that doctor. And thank you for helping. That means a lot to me." Lorelei said softly before lightly swinging their hands. She went to jump over a hole and nearly fell, but luckily she had Adrian's hand to hold. Her laughed was a mix between being embarrassed and happy. "Oops." They got back to her house after a bit of a walk and she let him put his stuff down. Lorelei decided to scare Adrian and hid in a tiny spot and waited for him to come out of her room. When he walked out she jumped and screamed "Boo!"
"I'll never be any fun. " Adrian said looking up at the sky before Lorelei almost fell. "You're gonna give me a heart attack one of these days you know..." He said as they walked along. Adrian put his things down and walked out of the room and Lorelei jumpped out and yelled boo. Adrian flinched but nothing much else really happened. He backed up and looked at her for a second before smirking then pulling her in, dipping her back, and kissing her before setting her up right again and walking out the door. "Well come on, we've got relationships to meddle with." He said as he disappeared from sight.
Once again Lorelei was panting by the time they got to the door. "Seriously... little legs... I have... them." She said and sat on the bench outside of her place. Lorelei waited a moment before getting up again going inside. She served them a slice of cake and sat on the cot. She ate slowly, "Mmm." She said and swayed a bit. "Good cake... you know... when you leave... I am giving half of it to Blair, right?" She smiled.
Adrian looked down at Lorelei. "Sorry...Long legs..I'll walk slower I promise..." He said as he followed her into the house and waited eagerly for cake. When he got some he sat next to lor on the cot and munched away happily. He frowned when she said she was giving the cake to Blair when he left. "Uhhm No, I'm taking it with me for the ten hour trip back to campus. Thank you very much. I cant take you, so i'll just have to settle for the next best thing." He said and then munched away some more.
Lorelei looked at him, "You can take part of that cake. You will get sick, Adrian." She laughed, "That is like... fourteen slices." She poked his tummy before taking a bite of her slice and humming. "You want to hear a song?" She asked him softly once she was done with her cake.
Adrian looked at Lorelei like she had done him wrong. "Fourteen slices is nothing. You doubt my cake eating skills? My iron stomach? Rude Lorelei, so rude." He joked but also still pouted about the cake. He perked up when she asked him if he would like to hear a song. "I would very much like to hear a song." He said with a big smile on his face. He loved it when she sang.
Lorelei smiled and got up, putting down her dish in the sink and slowly swung her hips as she began to hum before singing. She dances as she sang.

Adrian laid back on the cot and listened to her sing. He wondered where she learned the song from as he laid there with his eyes softly closed, just listening to the sound of her voice. He felt like the whole world just disappeared when she sang. Once she was done he sat back up and smiled at her. "Well that was beautiful as usual." He said softly before getting up and taking his plate to the kitchen, stopping to kiss Lorelei's forehead on the way there. "Where did you learn that one?" He asked when he came back and wrapped his arms around her.
She smiled and leaned into him when he wrapped his arms around her. "It was playing in the lobby at work. Elise wouldn't stop playing it. So I ended up getting a record myself and played it a bunch of times. Loris about died every time he came into work, but he never complained like Blair did." She said softly. "I think Misha cried after it played for the eighth time that day. I bet you if I sing it around him he would cry again." She laughed softly. "So... why won't you play the piano in front of anyone?" She asked.
Adrian thought about it. He never really thought about why he stopped playing if people tried to listen in. He just did. Adrian had started playing the piano when he was only five, the hospital had a music therapy room that had one and one of the nurses had him try the piano. "I'm not very good at it I guess. I never had a reason to either. Misha's wife cried the first time she heard me play. So i stopped playing if people could hear. That woman never cries, so it had to be awful i guess." He said softly.
She blinked at him, "They love your music, Adrian. She cried because she thought it was beautiful." She pulled away from him. "I can see where you thought it might be, I am going to have to tell her that next time I see her. I would like to hear you. I could be in another room if it bugs you that I watch." Lorelei said softly. "Or I will just have to be sneaky. I can do that you know. I do it all the time. People wonder how I know so much." She smiled evilly. "No one suspects the dead girl."
Adrian blinked at Lorelei. "Oh. Well then. I was like twelve when that happened to I probably misread the situation then. I'll let you watch me play, I guess. We can go in the morning before I have to leave, Misha's wife will kill me if I dont stop over before I have to go." He said softly. "And I dont see a dead girl here, the Lorelei I know if very much alive, and she is lovely." He said before grabbing her around and twirling her like they were dancing and then holding both of her hands and smiling down at her. "She still has cold hands, but she's not dead at all."
Lorelei laughed as the twirled around and laughed even more when he mentioned her cold hands. "I told you. I only look alive because I feed off of your warmth. Silly silly. I would love to hear you play. Misha's wife does look like she could cut someone down. I think Misha has a thing for deadly women." She shook her head. "Can you see the stars at your college? Can you go to the beach and see them?" She asked, drawing him in closer and hugging him. She rested her face on his chest and ran her cold hands under his shirt.
Adrian was going to speak but the cold hands under his chest made him flinch. "How are they always so cold..Im gonna have to figure out how to warm them up.." He said glaring at her playfully. "You can see the stars at the beach, but the campus is lit up too much to see most of the stars though...You know one time I walked in on Misha's wife butchering a fish..And Misha was staring at her like there was nothing more beautiful in the whole world. I hink he might be crazy, that woman is scary." He said, gently taking down Lorelei's har and playing with it. "Your hair is so pretty its distracting..." He mumbled.
Lorelei smiled, "They weren't like that until I died that day. Death is a cold and lonely space filled with blackness." She said before looking up at him after he took down her hair. She blushed at his comment. Lorelei hid her face in his chest again and mumbled against his chest how his face was distracting. Lorelei peeked around to see out the window, still day time. From where the sun was it looked like a few hours after twelve. They had some hours to go. She was nervous. "What is your favorite part about your job, Adrian?" She asked.
Adrian smirked when she hid her face after his comment about her hair. She was cute when she got shy like that. "My favorite part of my job...? Hm...Well every day is something different, most of the time. But I think I like the people I work with the most. Theyre always doing something completely ridiculous, and theres always drama to watch. I didnt start participating in it until recently though. Well I still handcuffed Blair to things, but I never really interacted with anyone otherwise. Just observed." He shrugged a little bit. "Its a lot more fun now though..So, what about you, whats your favorite part about your job?" He asked, playing with her hair gently.
Lorelei ran her fingers over his stomach softly and thought about it. "I like helping people feel better. I like experimenting and finding new medicine. I like saving people from death." She said softly. Her touch with it made her so determined to find medicines that it ended up winning. She hadn't realized she wasn't living until Adrian came along. "You know, when you give people bad news... it hurts a lot, but when I give them a cure and their face is full of hope and determination. People want to live and I hadn't realized that I wasn't living, Adrian, before you I was just... there. I had let death hold onto me for a long time." She whispered.
Adrian squeezed Lorelei gently. "I know what you mean. I spent a lot of my time just there too. I didnt almost die though. I wasnt exactly living though, I was just kind of around and went wherever, whenever, with whoever felt like dealing with me that day. Misha told me he's never heard me laugh so much in my entire life since you came around. I hadnt realized I was like that, I just thought that it was life. I guess it took a pretty little dead girl to show me what life really is. Its kind of ironic when you think about it." He said then pulled away and kissed her forehead. "We're alive now though, and I refuse to let either of us go back" He said smiling at her.
Lorelei listened to him and smiled. They had come really far since they first met and when she looked back she really didn't want to be that person anymore. "I like your laugh... so I am glad you do it more." She looked up at him after he kissed her forehead and laughed softly, "It is very ironic and I don't plan on going back to that place. I want you to keep breathing in all your warmth. I want to wake up looking forward to more than just medicine. I want to wake up one day and you are forever right next to me in the morning and when I go back to sleep. I want to spend my days not trapped in my lab, though I still want to spend time in it." Lorelei said softly. "You helped me a lot, Adrian. You make me nervous and excited at the same time."
Adrian blinked at her. "I make YOU nervous? I didnt even know what nervous was until i met you. And then it just waltzed right in and smacked me upside the head." He said with a small chuckle. "I want to wake up with you every day too. I'm gonna hae to get used to sleeping alone again and that really,really sucks. I got pretty used to you mumbling at me while you sleep you know? Its gonna be way too quiet." He teased a little bit.
