Introduction
Long ago in times when the universe was empty and black. A room was made. A room known as The End. In this room were placed paintings. And each Painting led to another place. Another world, Galaxy, Story. But our tale takes place in between one painting. A painting ripped apart and then taped back. One world became two very different worlds but connected for life through gate ways hidden to all those except when the time for them to open came about. One world was known as Earth. A world lacking magic but with creativity and resourcefulness that shocked everyone. The other world was Nevermore. A place of magic and the birth place of corruption.
Plot:
Nevermore created corruption? How? Well it started when magic became more of a competition then a skill or birth right. Soon people began pitting there magic against each other. But it all started when the strongest wizard mutated his magic from the essence of purity it was to a dark magic. At first he could control it. But it began to take over and feed on him needing more of power. Before long the lust for power and magic proved too great and ate the wizard hole leaving only an empty shadowy shell. A demon creature who needed to feed on others to keep growing ever stronger. Other magicians thinking they could control the darkness made the same mistake. And soon wars and battles were raged and the purity of the magic was stripped and replaced with corruption and madness.
The darkness spread through the lands soon it infected even those without magic who may have simply thought of something evil. The corruption began to infest everything and people turned to the creator of all to ask for death, forgiveness, immunity. But the creator could not stop corruption and he knew he had only one choice left. He sent to Nevermore his finest guardians. And told them to select the most powerful and pure children of the land. Each guardian selected a newborn and the creator sent them to Earth. He told his guardians to watch over the children until they turned the right age. Then they would have to lead them to Nevermore there true home. And the guardians did just that...
It's been 16 years sense the newborns were tossed into Earth. You will either play a guardian or a chosen one. If you are a guardian you will be in Nevermore with your Chosen one who is asleep. The chosen ones will not know each other but the guardians will know the chosen ones and each other thus forming a group. Your main goal is to unravel and destroy the chaos and corruption. Some corruption must be fought and killed but some corruption can be healed. How? By the magic the Chosen possess. Because they were saved from corruption there magic is pure and in the heat of battle they may unlock there abilities and powers to exorcise the darkness out of residence of Nevermore.
Your probably wondering why? Why not just leave the little corrupted creature to there own demise. If left alone the corruption will grow and deform get stronger and smarter and if given the chance will create a tear finding its way in the gateway to all realms. Into that little room with all the paintings... With all the gateways. And from there the blackness will consume all leaving the universe. But an empty shell with everything unmade from the very seems.
Nevermore/People:
Nevermore is a world similar to Earth but much more magical. The landscape is natural and free and there are things like faeries and other strange creatures. Above the clouds there are refugees being small islands floating in the sky. None are inhabited because of the high altitude and because there said to be home of ghosts. You will start out within the group on the outskirts of Shadow Town. It's the most widely known town within all of Nevermore because its there that the corruption was first spawned. Nevermore ranges from fantasy world to highly populated areas like cities here to most of the time small towns or road stops full of saloons and strange little houses. Nevermore IS magic though so of course there's strange places like towns surrounded by illusions or strange places with no roads and nothing but water or air. There's illusions and spells guarding places so be-careful not to follow the butterfly's.
As for the people... Well there aren't really any left. Well most people have been turned into creatures of darkness. The weakest ones are almost like people they simply seem to lack emotion and if they smell blood that contains magic they go wild and try to consume the source. The weakest creatures are called Underlings. They look like genderless people who's skin is dark and shadowy. You can touch Underling's but all you will feel is stone death cold. After the underlings there are level creatures level ones are like small shadowy creatures from legends like harpies made of shadow or deformed ugly zombie like creature all dark and shadowy. Level 2-3 are a bit bigger and stronger then level ones also made of shadow. It continues this way all the way to level 5 creatures. After level 5 creatures there are the hopeless. Hopeless are creatures that have no appearance of shape. There simply shadows with no face and voices. They trick people and lower level creatures by taking on human persona and bribing them with there hearts desire. Once they consume there prey they grow in darkness. And finally there's the Corrupt. Creatures that can have texture or none they range in shapes, sizes, abilities, and power and are the most dangerous of all. They also range from just plain stupid to extremely intelligent. Corrupt have lost everything to the darkness and have been unmade only in the rarest cases is there something left to save.
Shadow town the start of point is the least infected and most people there are either level 1 or Underlings. As you follow the roads from Shadow town there are more and more towns full with higher level monsters. BUT despite the fact monsters run ragged everywhere in all towns there is a way things works. There are even taverns and bars with music, hotels, inns, houses, jobs and currency. The people don't even seem to realize there lost in shadows and are very emotionless and plain... Until they smell magic or blood.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 10 authors
"I'm not here to hurt you, in fact, it's the opposite" The strange young man said, his voice was smooth, sending chills down Natsu's spine and the young journalist lowered his pan slightly. "H-How can I k-know it f-for sure?" Nat whispered, unconsciously tightened his grip on the pan. "My name if Luka Stryker and I am your guardian. It's a rather long story but I'll explain everything on our way to Nevermore."
Nevermore? What did he mean by that? Nat didn't know any places that went by the name 'Nevermore' though strangely enough, the name did ring something in his head. It was familiar... Nat had heard the name from somewhere before. The young man, now could be identified as Luka, continued "I know this is all too sudden, but won't you please come with me? There are others who may already be waiting for us." Luka's mismatched eyes shone brightly and at that exact moment, Natsu knew that he could trust this man. He had seen those eyes before...on his friends' faces. It was the sincerity glint that had convinced him to drop his guard.
"By the way, you can put the pan down now." Luka said and Natsu blushed brightly as he realized he was still gripping the pan tightly. The other man quickly closed the space between them and the young journalist could feel his face become redder than a tomato. The other one smiled - a smile so beautiful that it had taken Nat's breath away. "U-Um... O-okay..." Nat stuttered shyly and put the pan into the sink again.
"B-but before w-we go... c-can I f-finish wash-washing those d-dishes? a-and call my Mom? I h-have promised her to c-call h-her, y-you know" Nat squeaked out weakly, trying to get some space between the two. Why was he so nervous? He knew that Luka was...hot but he didn't really need to blush and stammer like a teenager girl! Turning his head away to hide his red face, the young man whispered, feeling embarrassed "U-um... w-would you m-mind g-g-giving me s-some sp-space?"
Agarwaen had freaked out for another fifteen seconds before he forced himself to calm down, calmed down just enough to hear the girl's confused questions. "if you could clarify a few things for me... Where am I? Who are you? What's with the shadowy things that are creepy but polite? And what are you sick with?"
"My apology, chosen one. I was under the impression that your guardian has already told you all about this..." Agarwaen said smoothly, barely paying attention to the broken vials. Those could be replaced easily. However, the chosen one's life was not. He had a mission to fill her with the missing details. "You are currently in Nevermore... the world that is... parallel to Earth in a way. You are from here, chosen one. I know this seems like an insane idea but... you do not belong to Earth. You are not an Earthling. You are... from here. You are from Nevermore."
Pausing slightly so that the girl could acknowledge and digest the information, Agarwaen continued softly "As for who I am... well, my name is Agarwaen Gaer but please call me Agarwaen. It's A-G-A-R-W-A-E-R, Agarwaen. I'm, as you can see, is an elf...And about the 'shadowy things' that you have seen, they are the corrupted. Just like I am." He finished the sentence softly, sadly turned away to look at much cleaner house "I'm not sick. At least, not in the normal sense. I'm a corrupted creature. I have evil thoughts and my heart was...is stained black. I am dangerous and I am trying to prevent my inner demon from getting out. That... that is why I'm in pain."
Lowering his gaze and stared at his hands intensively, Agarwaen continued "However, some others... they are not as lucky as I am. They don't have the means nor the will to fight the corrupt. They lost and became one of them. What you saw were probably lower corrupted creatures. They are called the Underlings by the humans... Of course, us elves don't call them by silly names like that. We call them... demons"
Looking up and staring straight into the girl's warm eyes, Agarwaen whispered "You, chosen one, are chosen to be our champions. You have the purest magic and you are destined to lead us out of this darkness. That... is your true fate, chosen one"
It was the growing paranoia that caused his gaze to linger on the shadows. Silver half expected the darkness to animate itself β intent on spreading their corruption to this world as well. Placing an unspoken enchantment over the rundown building, Silver stared blankly at the decrepit home. How anyone could live in such a hazardous place was beyond him but he voiced no concerns. He could only imagine what consequences heβd receive with a slip of the tongue. From the outside, the Den β as his Chosen seemed to refer to it as β gave off the impression of something being reclaimed by the earth. The once grand mansion was in a complete state of disrepair. It reminded him of an abandoned war shelter. Rubble of all shapes and sizes were littering the cracked stone pathway. Vines appeared to be obscuring any natural light from seeping into the building itself and weeds were scattered throughout the property. Without the proper care, Silver was sure it would run itself into the ground in a few years.
Dutifully following behind Aurora past the once glossy double doors, Silverβs pianist worthy fingers traced the indentations of the plastered walls. The interior of the Den was clearly worse for wear. The amount of damage that had accumulated over the years was apparent β making Silver question the lifestyles of those who lived in it. As if on cue, his mind began conjuring up images of Aurora struggling with her addictions. His blood ran cold. Alcohol and drug abuse. A voice in his mind echoed as he pulled away from the wall. A noticeable amount of grime coated his fingertips but he made no move to wipe it off. The dirt was smeared over his cream colored skin and he almost chuckled sardonically at the irony. Youβre no better than she is. Youβre just as tainted in your own sins.
βMy name is Silver,β he answered with a smile playing on his lips. He exuded a friendly demeanor; however, his mind was reeling β plagued with memories of a much darker time in his life. Silver could almost feel the pain constricting in his chest but he did his best to ignore it. He couldnβt let these kinds of thoughts consume him; not while in the presence of Aurora. It would be careless and problematic β mixing his personal life with his professional one. Silver had long since come to understand that, once any type of emotion came into play, situations spiraled out of control. He had spent so long detaching himself from everything and everyone that he didnβt expect this to be any different.
Though, to be fair, Silver certainly hadnβt expected this. It took him several seconds to register the fact that his Chosen was now pressed against him and, by then, it was far too late. Had he not been frozen in a state of shock, Silver was sure he could have somehow avoided the position he was finding himself in now β Aurora hovering over him with his back against a worn out sofa. Silver raised an eyebrow at her. His facial expression was calm; though, if Aurora examined his eyes closely, she was bound to see a mix of confusion and annoyance. βYouβre invading my personal space,β he murmured β annoyance having won out and throwing a chink in his armor of sorts.
βAre displays of affection common with all those residing on Earth or are you the exception?β Instead of receiving a response to his questions, Aurora moved away from him and momentarily out of his line of sight. Silver ran a hand through his tousled hair. Muttering a string of expletives under his breath, he took a few deep breaths to steady his now erratic heartbeat. I refuse to ever speak of this experience again.
Straightening himself out and returning to his usual mask of composure, Silver analyzed her now forlorn expression and sighed. His mind raced to thoroughly examine the events leading to this moment; hoping to receive some sort of clue about the dismal air surrounding her. βItβs not the house. Iβm just not used to people invading my personal boundaries. Iβm sorry.β Auroraβs mood showed no signs of lifting at his apology and Silver could only stand stoically before her β no concrete solution to the looming problem making itself known to him.
βGo with me then.β His voice was slightly above a whisper as he spoke. He could find no smoother way to transition into this conversation and, as comforting gestures were foreign to him, now was as a good a time as any to explain to her. Glancing at her hand β still steadily resting on the metal handle β Silver slowly placed his own on top. βWe have to go to Nevermore. You're one of the Chosen.β
If there was ever a time where she had an eerie I'm being watched feeling, it was now. Sarah prolonged tossing her shoes for a moment to take a look around her - but there was no one there, or there didnt seem to be. "Si ornla tepoha svadria nomenes droti waoli tepohada astahii levnima wux tikil tisvelkilt. Wux slathalin algbo, Sarah." Sarah turned towards the source of the foreign dialect, her hand raised as if she were about to toss her shoe at them, or that was until they spoke her name. "Iejir tilsin, thric altiui hofiba." The person continued. "I don't understand....WHAT THE HELL YOU ARE SAYING!" she then shouted, throwing her shoe in their general direction. "How do you know my name anyways? Have you been following me!?" There were several people that could be looking for Sarah at the moment, so she was slightly on edge, getting dragged back to a hospital, orphanage, or being killed wasn't exactly on her to do list. "Look, I have more important things to do than stand here and listen to what to me, is gibberish.
And it was true, she needed to find something to eat before she passed out, and she now was feeling the effects of the morons she previous encountered, her stomach not only growling with hunger now but hurting as well. It was pretty sad though, two people getting their asses kicked by a girl, she slightly grinned despite herself, but returned her attention to the stranger in front of her. "What are you speaking anyways? It's nothing I've heard before...do you even understand me?"
With her oddly smooth hands - because she most certainly participated in many rough activities - resting on the metal handle of the fragile doors, she recalled what he'd said. βYouβre invading my personal space." Who talks like that? βAre displays of affection common with all those residing on Earth or are you the exception?β Then, in a strange attempt to possibly make her feel better, he'd said, βItβs not the house. Iβm just not used to people invading my personal boundaries. Iβm sorry.β
He is so weird.
βGo with me then,β he whispered in his too-perfect voice. Silver was close, his skin teasing her back as he covered her hand in his. Her birds batted their wings, as if they were batting their eyelashes; each one silently screaming Love me, love me! βWe have to go to Nevermore. You're one of the Chosen.β
Aurora's body began to tremble against his skin, her head bowed over the double doors before she plonked it on the worn wood. A soft squeal escaped her lips as she let out quick beats of air. She threw her head back against him before sliding down the length of Silver's body, gripping his arm to steady herself and pull herself up. Aurora turned around and looked at him, tears glistening in her violet eyes as she ran her fingers through the tall man's platinum blonde hair, resting her hand on the nape of his neck. Aurora looked at him and struggled not to double over as her abdomen clenched with the intensity of her shakes.
Aurora was laughing.
A lovely, melodic sound left her full lips; echoing in the gravely silence of the empty mansion. With one hand on the back of Silver's neck and another looped into his belt to steady herself, her lips parted as she laughed with a strangely feminine ferocity. "Oh god, oh god, stop it! Jesus! This really bloody hurts," she gasped between giggles, clutching her middle, squealing, "Ow, ow, ow, ow..."
Wiping the clear liquid from her eyes, she looked into Silver's piercing green orbs. Her lips were pressed tightly together as she failed to give him her best poker face. "Okay, okay. Serious face!" she announced, scrunching up her pretty features into a dramatic, teasing frown. Nope, she laughed. "You clearly haven't ever been to what we 'Earthlings' call a night club. Relax, short stuff," she spoke, grinning in her Australian accent as she looked up at the beautiful man who was over six feet tall. "I don't bite. Well, that's a big as lie. I do. But when I do, it's really, really good biting." Aurora leaned back, hooking her thumbs into the pockets of her low jeans. The skinny jeans hugged her figure, emphasising her small waist and 'blessed' behind as it sat low on her hips. Leaning against the large doors - the only remotely clean thing in the entire mansion - Aurora crossed one long leg over the other. The blue denim of her jeans was broken by her smooth, long torso and her bra-covered breasts that were currently shaking with her laughter. She wiggled her eyebrows, catching Silvers' eyes and slowly moving her gaze down his body.
"If you show me yours, I'll show you mine," she managed to say in a breathless whisper before bursting into dancing giggles again.
"We must go to 'Nevermore' for I am a 'Chosen,'" she repeated, covering her face with her hands as she laughed, before pulling them away to look at Silver. "Gosh, I always attract the druggies and nuts, don't I? It's okay, baby. Mummy'll take care of you." Reaching up, she pulled Silver's head towards her to press him against her chest, running a gentle hand over his soft hair.
"Oh, you poor, poor thing. If you wanted to be a Leftover, you could've just said so. What is it? Coke? Weed? Dope? Opium? Ecstasy?" Aurora smiled brighter as she decided, "I like ecstasy."
"I'm sorry to disappoint, love," she said, releasing Silver from her chest to look levelly into his eyes with both arms wrapped around the back of his neck, "But I'm not Tinker Bell - unless that's what you're into - I'm a human lady. A particularly hot one, if I may say so myself," Modest. Very modest. "But an ordinary person, nonetheless. Is this some sort of weird modelling contract? Because I've never done fantasy."
"Unless I'm the crazy one here and I'm actually dead in some gutter after a severe relapse and you're my Angel," she whispered against his neck, "In that case, please.
"Take me."
Skin impacted against wood as Silverβs eyes trailed back to its charge. The feeling of unease settled into the pit of his stomach yet again β dreading whatever was to come. He this was close to questioning her sanity when her scent invaded his senses and he internally blanched. Here we go again. Gritting his teeth imperceptibly, Silver tried to focus his thoughts elsewhere; trying to remind himself of the mission heβd agree to partake in. He was doing this for Nevermore. He was doing this for his father. Once those two pieces of information would have been just the motivational push he needed β giving him the strength to endure whatever obstacle was thrown his way β but, he really despised physical contact. The muscles in his jaw twitched when Aurora raked her hands over him. With her soft hand rested on the nape of his neck, Silverβs expression hardened β the air around him taking on an unsettling quality. However, she seemed to pay no mind as she doubled over in a fit of laughter.
Auroraβs laughter echoed against the walls of the desolate mansion, reverberating off the stone columns and marble flooring. Muted green orbs found themselves staring at the movement of her dark pink lips. She laughed so carelessly β the sounds carrying a carefree quality that did nothing to betray her broken past. Donβt you wish you could laugh like that as well? A small voice trilled in his head. The innocence of childhood has not been lost on her. So much unlike you. A subtle flicker of longing hinted in his eyes before he tucked the thoughts away. He shouldnβt waste his energy on memories past. Time took no pity on those who lingered behind β devoting themselves to useless endeavors in hopes to change their tainted histories. Individuals could only redeem themselves. All other efforts were futile.
Who is Jesus? Silver mused over the name for a moment or two as he waited out Auroraβs bout of β what he hoped was β temporary insanity. He watched as she unsuccessfully tried to reign in her emotions and he was tempted to scoff at her lack of control. As another laugh escaped her bow shaped lips, his eyes narrowed. βSo youβre done now?β He had fervently hoped so; however, those hopes flickered out like an extinguished candle on a wintry night as she began to spout random nonsense. His patience was wearing thin and he only caught fragments of the one sided conversation. She really needed to stop staring at him like a dragon evaluating its prey. Itβs unsettling.
Silver let out an exasperated sigh. It was obvious she didnβt believe him and, though understandable given the circumstances, Aurora could at least practice some composure. βIβd prefer it if you didnβt touch me again,β his tone threatening but muffled against her exposed skin. His heartbeat raced with his current position β his Chosen having pulled his face to her chest and treating him like a sour child. Aurora had begun listing various drugs she suspected Silver of dabbling with and he almost retorted back. No but Iβm starting to come to the conclusion that youβve had several of the aforementioned. However, with a noticeable amount of effort on his part, Silver kept that thought β as well as a plethora of others β to himself. When she finally released her iron grip, Silver put an adequate amount of distance between them and, though Auroraβs arms were still wrapped around his neck, his mood lifted considerably. Iβm going to ignore that sexual innuendo.
βThe proper term would be Guardian,β Silver corrected. Finding himself at a loss concerning how to proceed, he shut his eyes β allowing the magic to surge through his veins. His male body took on an ethereal glow as he calmly uttered the several Majesdanian words. Bones began to reshape themselves as his over six foot frame changed into one fitting a petite teenage girl. Platinum blonde locks were replaced with raven colored tresses that swept down a thinning waist line. Silverβs attire of denim jeans and a casual printed tee were substituted with an elegant rose colored dress that appeared to be a mix of modern elegance and dresses dating back to the late 18th century. His masculine features softened until they disappeared entirely. Standing before Aurora now was the celestial spirit Gemini β her heart shaped face filled with uninhibited glee. An overjoyed shriek pierced the air as she leapt forward and tackled Aurora down.
βYou must be Silverβs assigned Chosen!β Geminiβs voice filled with awe as her right eye β not obscured by her mess of dark hair β glimmered with excitement. βI knew you would grow up to be pretty. I knew it. Ophiuchus is so gonna eat his words!β She clapped her hands together for a moment before her mouth took on an βoh myβ shape and she giggled. βSorry! I got really carried away. Silver doesnβt like to call me often. Heβs such a stick in the mud, donβt cha think?β Gemini extended her tiny hand out to Aurora with the intention of helping her stand and gave her a pearly white grin.
βIβm Gemini. A celestial spirit. I would explain how this all works but thatβs such a bore. All you need to know is that Silver is taking a break. Heβs still here,β she said quickly while pointing to her chest, βbut Iβm in control for a little bit. Heβll probably call me back to the Spirit World later.β Gemini shrugged her shoulders β the ever present smile still radiating on her features. Her robin egg blue eyes traced the curves of her features and she blinked curiously. Humans didnβt look very different from Majesdanians. She didnβt think they smelled any different either. That was a major let down. Perhaps they tasted different? Though, to be fair, she didnβt have the slightest clue as to what the Majesdanian race tasted like. But! Gemini had once licked the cheek of Silverβs little sister. Maybe she would be able to compare it?! She hoped Aurora would let her do so. She wanted to be able to report back to the other celestial spirits. Theyβd probably be very envious of her.
Stay on task, Gemini. Silverβs voice called out in their shared body and she pouted. βFine,β she crossed her arms and puffed out her cheeks. Gemini was speaking to Silver out loud but, as usual, she didnβt giving a flying monkeyβs hat about whether or not Aurora would think she was weird. Her mood shifting to a stubborn little girl who had been refused early dessert, she stomped her heel clad feet on the debris littered grounds. Silver really needed to get laid. Or take up a fun hobby. Maybe she would strategically place activity pamphlets in his clothes before his next visit to Earth. That could work!
βLetβs go to Nevermore! Pretty please? With lots of sugar cookies and chocolate milk on top!β Gemini could practically feel Silverβs icy glare on her.
He grinned at her. "But if I wind up in some gutter in nothing but my small clothes in some foriegn country, I will personally hunt you down."
Serenity had been right, this hurt like hell. It felt as if every molecule of his being was being torn apart, and then put back together in the wrong place. Aw man, I'm gonna end up all screwed up after this. Way to get yourself into yet another mess, Morgan He thought to himself, when suddenly it was over as soon as it had begun. He found himself kneeling, doubled-over in the dirt. He looked up at Serenity and scowled at her slightly, "Painful does not describe what we just came through." He groaned. He stood up, glancing around him at what appeared to be a ghost town. "So...this is Nevermore? Appropriate name..."
------------------------------------------
Tallen sighed, unsure of how to proceed. So she didn't recognize him, it wasn't surprising. "To be completely honest, yes I have been following you, but not in the sense that your world understands it. Here, I have food here, if you would like it. I'm not here to take you back to the hospital, or the orphanage, or anywhere like that. Where we need to go is much more dangerous, but you are needed. We are needed, Sarah. This is going to be hard for you to understand. As for what I was speaking, that was my own tongue, my ancient tognue. You have heard it before, but you were very, very young. I'm not surprised you don't remember it or me. I need to take you with me, back to Nevermore. You are one of the Chosen, and I am your Guardian. I'm just sorry I wasn't able to help you before now. Though you handled yourself quite well against those boys. I'm sure their pride was deeply wounded."
He msiled slightly, his voice thick with an almost scottish-sounding accent, yet there was still somehting odd about it, other-worldly, almost. "My name is...well, call me Tallen. I doubt your tongue could pronounce my name. Will you come with me, Sarah?"
Maria stared at Agarwaen in silence until he was done. She blinked and shrugged. "That actually explains a few things... Like the messed up voice ability? THING." At her excess on the word thing a random fire started on one of the chairs. "Sorry about that... Don't have control over it..." She hummed quietly and the air ripped the fire went out and the chair looked better then knew. "There all better."
She shifted in her seat her golden eyes staring at the elf. "To be honest... I think your not a monster... You might have one inside of you and I can tell he wants control... But I also think your monster is scared. Scared of you being able to fight it..." She quietly sat before standing up. "Well this chat was lovely... But I should go..." She blinked looking away gently grabbing onto her long chocolate hair and tugging at it as worry filled her eyes and she sat back down.
"Chosen..." She let the word's tingle on her lips and the air around pulsed with magic of her voice and of her words. I don't think I am.." She sat back. "I mean really the only reason I'm here is because... MY MIRROR KIDNAPPED ME." She huffed frowning. "It grabbed on and pulled me through then I woke up with those... Under... End... Underlings staring at me like an animal in a zoo..." She stared at the table and began drawing little scenery's of floating islands in some powder left on the table. "Now your telling me I'm suppose to save stuff... The rest I somewhat get... But all I can do is make changes with my voice... I'm not powerful..." She looked uo at the elf. "But I've never seen the world the way most people do so despite my minds doubt I know in the pit of my soul your speaking the truth..."
The words that are coming out of this person's mouth...
"Firstly, I don't need your charity, I can take care of myself." She then thought about the words he had said, for her world? What was that supposed to mean? She was some chosen that was supposed to go with this so called guardian, to some dangerous land called nevermore? It was laughable. The fact he admitted to following her all this time was just all the more unsettling, she wondered, how long had he been following her? She should make this freak regret that. "Look nutjob, I seriously don't have time for this - and don't you dare follow me ever again." her words were threatening. Go back to neverland, princess, some of us have more important things to do in the real world. Sarah turned around leaving the stranger and heading towards the nearest building, she wanted nothing to do with this person, though she felt like they would be hard to get rid of. Why were they watching her? They said they weren't from an orphanage or hospital, not that she believed them - or anyone for that matter.
βYou must be Silverβs assigned Chosen!β exclaimed the dainty girl with glee. Aurora's head dropped down from gazing at a tall man to gazing at a small girl. Aurora's face remained utterly passive, unmoving as the cheerful teenager gushed, βI knew you would grow up to be pretty. I knew it. Ophiuchus is so gonna eat his words!β
"Orphiuschus...?" Aurora found herself asking numbly.
βSorry! I got really carried away. Silver doesnβt like to call me often. Heβs such a stick in the mud, donβt cha think?β the girl dressed in roses giggled, reaching down to help Aurora to her feet. The girl with the silver streaks cautiously took her hand, not wanting to break it - the young girl was most likely her age but she looked so dangerously fragile. Standing up, Siren replied with a dazed smile, "A really bangable stick in the mud."
βIβm Gemini. A celestial spirit. I would explain how this all works but thatβs such a bore. All you need to know is that Silver is taking a break. Heβs still here,β Gemini pointed to her heart, βbut Iβm in control for a little bit. Heβll probably call me back to the Spirit World later.β
"Gemini," Aurora said slowly. The small lady looked more like a Rosie than anything else. βBut Iβm in control for a little bit. Heβll probably call me back to the Spirit World later,β Ros- Gemini continued.
"Celestial Spirits from the Spirit World like..." she paused, pulling her lower lip of naturally pure crimson inwards with her teeth, "Like Fairy Tail?" So Aurora indulged in Japanese animation every once a while - sue her.
βFine,β Gemini huffed to no one in particular. No, no, this isn't weird at all. Though, in all honesty, talking to yourself was the most normal thing Aurora had encountered this entire day. βLetβs go to Nevermore! Pretty please? With lots of sugar cookies and chocolate milk on top!β
An eternity passed as Aurora's eyes of amethyst blue stared into those of the bubbly girl. To Aurora, it felt like mere seconds. The mansion with its cracked tiles and termite terminated staircase sat in complete silence as if it itself moved with Aurora. Who knew, perhaps the Earth within it did. The fauna of daylight stilled in their songs of nature, listening for the model's reply. The trees paused in their rustling as even the wind anticipated Aurora's next move. Even the birds beneath the Chosen's skin waited. Aurora herself did nothing - there was nothing that gave away any of what she thought - not a blink, not a twitch, not a breath.
"Okay," she said in her accented voice.
The world stayed in its freeze-frame. Then, as if it were making up for the lost time of stillness, a fast-forward button was clicked and all at once, everything rushed toward the two females or perhaps, around. The world rotated, spinning in a mad spiral, picking up the furniture around them in a blinding whirlwind with Aurora and Gemini in its centre. It spun until it was a blinding blizzard of white.
The last thing Aurora heard was the whimsical melody of a hummingbird.
Nevermore
The small beaks of several birds pecked at Aurora's back, nudging her awake. As if the breath of life had been pumped into her lungs, Aurora gasped, drawing in a deep breath as her spine arched upwards, her eyes slamming wide. Aurora panted, her palms resting on what felt to be a rough pavement as she sat back on her hands with one slim leg bent before her.
"What the hell did you do this time, Tim?" she growled, searching for the messy, dark-haired Leftover who was well known for dumping Aurora on unknown sidewalks while she slept. In fact, he did that to everyone when he was drunk in the bottom of a bottle. Aurora ran her fingers through her silky hair before sniffing her hands. Why do I smell like roses? She felt as if she had the worst hangover in the history of mankind, every fraction she moved her body made her sick and dizzy. Even breathing hurt.
Pure blue skies hung over her head as she took in the rows of rather old-fashioned houses with their triangular rooftops, colourful paint and windowsills of flowers. Aurora frowned, slowly bringing herself upright - she was still in her Calvin Klein jeans and low-cut bra, from which her birthmarks were peeking out from, flying excitedly towards her shoulder just to disappear and begin again from the edge of her low hanging jeans. Aurora's belly button piercing glistened in the bright lights of day and she could not have looked more out of place.
Looking around, her fully lashed eyes found orbs of robin egg blues. "Am I in France?" she asked carefully before burying her face in the palms of her hands. "Oh god, I knew it. How did I die? Please don't tell me the stove exploded in my face. I told them to change the bloody thing but noooOOooo - that's the job of a woman!"
Peeking at the petite girl through her fingers, she sighed, "Okay. Where is He? God or whoever's in charge of this? Because this doesn't look much like hell," she said with puzzlement, "How did I not end up in hell? Not that I'm complaining but - Oh gosh. Is this some sort of processing thing? Heavenly questioning? Because whatever it was - I didn't do it!" she proclaimed, raising both her arms with her palms exposed. Then, with a shameful glance to the side, she mumbled, "Unless this is about the burger thing. Then yeah... That was me. C'mon, I was hungry," she said with a shrug.
"So where's God?"
Another reason he hated ley gate travel was its unpredictability, it always got you where you needed to go, assuming it wasn't tampered with, but there was no telling if you were on time or not. he reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a timepiece, pure silver. He was in the right time period, so that was good. He had been living on Earth for the past thousand years when the Creator called the Guardians back to take on there ancient duty, and when his chosen was sent to Earth he was one of the few Guardians that decided to stay on Earth to physically protect his chosen. There were several times when his chosen, Maria Odess, would have died without his intervention. There were also many times when he wanted to reveal himself to her, but he could not. Not until his appointed day. He had actually been on his way to collect her when those idiots in Nevermore opened the portal prematurely. The mirror gate was long closed by the time he got there, forcing him to use a ley gate. He could handle mirror travel, but ley gates always made him vomit. He ran through the forest, holding his Chrona in its dagger form behind him. He could feel her getting closer, and he knew he was on the right track.
He eventually reached a small cottage, and he could sense Maria inside, "Finally." He saw a fire bloom inside and his anger heart skipped a beat, "Maria!" He saw an elf pop his head outside, and sensed the corruption inside him. He transformed the Chronamora into a bastard sword and held it in a two handed grip, charging into the house and knocking down the elf, holding the point at its throat, "What the hell is going on here!?" He immediately flared his aura, forming plate armor around his body. He then took in the scene around him, this was no ruined building, this was a well maintained home. The elf was corrupted, but was not repelled by the Chronamora, which must have meant that he was able to fight it, and Maria was clearly in one piece, and certainly no worse for wear, "Wait, what? What the hell is going on here?"

"its not like i didn't warn you" She said with a grin as she pulled him up by the hand she was still holding. She looked around, her eyes scanning every were. She watched the shadows like a cat watches a dog, ready to strike at any moment. She started pulling him along the dirt road. She didn't like being out in the open. It made her nervous.
As if her thoughts had jinxed them, a shadowy creature stepped out of the darkness. A Corrupt....a stupid one at that. She cursed under her breath and hissed at hit, in a very feral kind of way. She stood between the creature and her charge, before she closed her eyes and pulled a Naginata out of thing air.
She opened her eyes and grinned at the creature.
"Obviously, you must be one of the dumb ones....or you wouldn't have showed up. Well, lets get this over with, i don't feel like playing around today, I've got a date" she said still grinning as the creature screeched at her and charged. She ran at the creature and stabbed her naginata into the ground so she could flip herself over it, before producing a dagger and stabbing it in the back. It screeched in pain and turned on her. it backhanded her, sending her back wards a few feet and making her bleed from her nose. She wiped that away and cursed again as it came at her with vigor. She stood there and let it get close before she swung her Niginata up and it impaled itself on it. She smiled coldly and twisted before it stopped moving and dropped. She let her weapon dissipate as she wiped he face, trying to get rid of the blood.
"We arent far from a town, we should find an Inn for now, you need to rest, portal traveling can take it out of you" she said as if nothing had happened.
"U-um... w-would you m-mind g-g-giving me s-some sp-space?" Almost immediately, the raven took a step away from Natsu, giving an apologetic look. "I'll wait out on the balcony for you. Tell me whenever you're ready.
Luka stepped back out and leaned against the railing as he watched the sky darken. It was a peaceful night, something he didn't get to enjoy much back at Nevermore. Might as well enjoy it while he can. He gently rested his hand against the cold metal, his finger tapping against it soundlessly. In the distance, he can hear dogs barking at one another and see birds hurrying towards their nesting area.
He will often check to see if Natsu was still there, a part of him slightly afraid that the blonde will just run off. At the same time, Natsu didn't seem like such person. Letting out a small whistle, Luka extended out his hand and waited as a bird fluttered over. It perched on his finger, cleaning it's feather's before chirping. Luka, who was used to dealing with all sorts of creatures, was apparently pretty good with animals on Earth. This kept him busy for a while, keeping his mind off the serious business that will be coming up soon.
Maria Odess
Maria sighed and was about to speak when a strange boy burst into the room and tackled Argarwean. "WHAT THE HELL!" She jumped and tried to bite back her yell but it was already to late and the air boomed with magic knocking Maria backward and knocking the new-comer onto the floor and shattering anything it could, not to mention twisting the plants just outside making them wild and thorny as if they were ready to attack the new-comer. Maria stared up pathetically from the floor guilt rising up in her gut and twisting her emotions. She nearly wanted to wail out ever form of apology she knew.
She stared at the two people on the floor and fought back dear instead she closed her eyes and took deep breaths trying to calm down. If even the slightest bit of her distress and sadness mixed into her words it could cause who knows what. While she took deep breaths she began to mutter in the softest voice she could. "Sorry". Over and over. Her legs and arms were shaking to fight back the rising guilt.
Maria was not a weakling or a cry baby. But there was one thing that could make her break down. And that was when her abilities escaped from her and like a messy jumble of magic exploded destroying someones property or even maybe injuring someone who did not deserve it. She opened her eyes and stared like a whipped puppy at the two men. "I... I'm just s-so sorry." Her lip quivered but she only mentally slapped herself. Crying and sobbing would only cause more problems for them. So she took deep breaths and kept repeating sorry until the feeling of crying past and she could open her eyes again without fear of a breakdown or a flood or who knows.
"On second thought...perhaps it is better to get out of here." He said softly, allowing Serenity to lead the way. She knew this place better than he did, though it did have an eerily familiar feel to it.
----------------------------------------------------------
Tallen gave a small sigh. This was going to be as hard as he thought. He stayed put for a second, glancing around them. Luckily, Sarah had come down an old alley into a deserted street. Good thing, too, what he was about to do would have cause a lot of comotion in a public place.
Tallen began walking, matching her pace and staying with her easily. Two bright red wings unfurled form his back, and his muscles began rippling beneath his skin. He made sure he was ready before laying a clawed hand on her arm. He was going to have to be fast if he was going to get her there.
"Forgive me, Sarah, but we do not have time for this. The others are most likely already there and waiting for us." As soon as he had spoke, he grabbed her up in both arms, lifting the small girl off the ground easily. He took to the skies, launching a stream of fire out of his mouth as he went. The fire swirled and expanded, opening a rift between this wolrd and the next, and within seconds, they were in Nevermore.
"Welcome back to Nevermore, Sarah." He said as he started walking. He wasn't going to take any chances by setting her down. He had to get to the randevous point. And if she ran now, she might run headlong into something that would kill her, and that, Tallen couldn't risk.

"Bring food up" She said and headed up the stairs to the room she had bought earlier that day. She waited for Morgan to say something.
"You'll have food in a minute, and you should rest...." She said unsure where to go with the conversation from there.
As she walked away, she could hear him behind her. "Did you not -" And that was when it happened, her feet left the ground. There was a moment in which she was still, she neither spoke nor moved, nor even took a breath. This mysterious person whom claimed they were from Nevermore had lifted her up and...was flying? At first she could have assumed she was only lifted, but that didn't seem to be the case. She saw the blue colors beneath her get smaller and smaller and she heard what could be presumed as a flapping sound. The sound a bird's wings might make, but louder. Afterwards, heat surrounded her, and then came the words "Welcome back to Nevermore, Sarah." Sarah clenched her teeth and looked around - not really able to see anything, the place was too foreign for her to make out the objects around her from the few blue lights she saw. By now he was talking, and he didn't seem to have the intention of putting her down. "What is this stupid Neverland!?" she shouted, starting to kick and squirm in his arms. His hold on her was painfully strong, but she was able to twist around slightly and bite him. "Luuhmego" she said through her teeth. But she wasn't satisfied.
"I am a chosen one and you are my guardian!?" she shouted. "What kind of bullshit is that!? Where have you been all my life, what kind of half assed guardian are you!?" She was getting impatient and irritated. "You take me back right now." she said coldly. "You crazy son of a bitch you take me back right now!" she shouted as she kicked him a few times. "You must be proud of yourself, abducting a blind girl." She paused for a moment, her body limp. "What have you done?"
Tallen had all but ignored Sarah, barely even noticing when she bit him. His skin, even in human form, was tougher than a human's. He ended up cathing sight of Serenity, and who he assumed was her chage, and stood there in the doorway after folonwing them into the inn. He said nothing as the boy with the orange hair pointed and spoke about him, but instead turned straight to Serenity. "I see you made it with your own charge. It would also seem you had better luck than I did." Tallen strode forward, dropping the girl onto the bed.
"I did not do anything to you, Sarah. It was portal traveling. It tends to wear first-timers out." Tallen showed no signs of fatiuge at all. He turned a blazing eye on Morgan, and then cirlced the boy, investigating him. "I would say he looks to be in good shape, though he appears to be missing an important item." He pointed blatently to Morgan's eyepatch, who glared at him. "That happened years ago. And who the hell are you, and who is she?!" Morgan didn't like being ignored.

"That happened years ago. And who the hell are you, and who is she?!" Morgan said though she ignored him.
"Tallen, you are as tactless as ever i see" She said with a half smile as she looked his charge oer as well.
"She's a little....dainty.... isnt she?" She said with a small smile.
"I'm Serenity. You'll be okay Sarah, its a little harsh the first time, but it will get better, would you like some food?" Serenity asked with a kind smile.
After the two of them landed, Sarah suddenly plopped onto what was an oddly soft surface. "Oh how considerate of you." she said sarcastically. It had struck her as strange, that the man didn't react at all during her kicking and biting and screaming. This only made her all the more angry, it was like the bastard had some sort of death wish. She listened and the word charge was thrown around again, it was irritating, such a lesser word to call someone. "I did not do anything to you, Sarah. It was portal traveling. It tends to wear first-timers out." Sarah's eyes narrowed at the words first-timers. "I would say he looks to be in good shape, though he appears to be missing an important item." Who was he talking to? Sarah, now on her hands and knees tried to focus on the noises of her surroundings as opposed to the asshole behind her. How many other people were here? She wondered how many people would be here. Sarah wasn't really a people person, and she knew she wasn't a people person. Growing up the amount of friends she had - totaled zero. However, Sarah never cared, people did nothing but get on her nerves.
"That happened years ago. And who the hell are you, and who is she?!" A new voice, she could hear his movement now. Sarah's eyes stopped wandering aimlessly, as the glowing blue fixtures in front of her made themselves slightly visible. She looked up at the owner of the voice with her clouded blue eyes. She wondered what he was missing, all she knew was apparently he was in so called good shape. "It is none of your business who I am!" she shouted as she stood up. She turned behind her to see another person, whom she swore just called her dainty, and offered her food. Dainty... "Fuck you." she said, turning back to the male. "So who are you then? Are you charge as well?" she asked putting air quotes on the word charge. "With some moron of a guardian?" Sarah walked up to him, staring up at him, though not really meeting his eyes - wherever they were. "Watch yourself." she said as she pushed him, then proceeded to try and walk away from the group of idiots.

Re: Welcome To Shadow Town
Erm but that's not the news. My uncle has told me via text messaging that he is bringing my laptop to the computer repair shop today. I'm going to form my own little prayer circle that my laptop is fixable. My uncle assures me that it is but he might just trying to be positive. Whatever the case, if it can't be fixed (which would be the worst case scenario and end with my ugly sobs :u) then I'll have to get a new one. DX And that would take an annoying amount of tome because of schedules and stuff. Plus backing up my hard drive and kms. Sorry! I'm rambling. Ohp.

It was completely my fault too, I looked down to find my phone, and when I looked up, there was a car in front of me and the light was red. Bam, rear-ended the guy in front of me. Damage to my car, nothing to his, cause i hit his tow-hitch. :/ Oh well, such is life, shit happens.

TwiliXDragon wrote:Hey guys. Sorry it's been a while since I posted. I was in a car accident on my way to work Friday, and I've been pretty shaken up by it. I'm okay, and so was everyone in the other car, their car litteraly had almost no damage. I, on the other hand, have to replace my radiator. :/ So, I'll try to post tonight.
I'm so sorry. :c Are you ok? Thank goodness no one was harmed; however, I don't blame you for being shaken up in the least bit! Like Layla said, you were in a traumatic experience. Take your time! There is absolutely no rush. In fact, I can't really post at the moment either. So it should be fine. I'm just really glad that you're ok and, if you want to talk about it, you can always PM me. I don't mind. <3

I can't even imagine. That's honestly terrible. They obviously don't know what thy're talking about. Or fail to see that constructive criticism is more benefical to someone versus tearing them down.
But! I thought I should let you all know. While I was working on a reply for another roleplay, my laptop shut off. I tried to turn it on again and, for a few minutes, it was turning on fine. But then it shut off again. It's like I get to the welcome to windows and login stuff and then it will just go black. :| Something is obviously wrong with it and I no longer rely on a battery (since it doesn't charge) and use a plug (but that seems to be working since the computer does turn on for a bit) so I don't know what's wrong. :c I'm going to try and convince my uncle to take me to a computer shop tomorrow (since it's late here) but my biggest worry is losing everything on my laptop.
Eh. :|
I can still do stuff from my cell phone but it's doubtful I'll be able to use my cousin or sister's laptops. And it's kind of difficult to do much on mobile. DX
I'm really sorry. I hope it will be fixed tomorrow but I can't be sure. I really wanted to reply and I don't want to keep you guys waiting but I don't think I'll be able to today. :c I honestly feel like the worst person in the world right now.

Re: Welcome To Shadow Town
I think Gemini will stay for a little while then. Because she'll just hover around her and hum while she screams. Or maybe throw a little grass at her. Or maybe dump a bucket of water over her head.
Silver still kind of wants to strangle her, ngl. He was giving off the dark vibes.
Of course not, Black Death! <3 I can't even imagine anyone doing that. It would be awful.
I'm kind of wondering how to go with this post. Don't kill me if it isn't as long as my usual posts. :c I'm sort of still trying to piece together how they all meet and, since Gemini is currently taking over Silver's body, the post will be a little more upbeat and random.
As opposed to Silver's kind of serious way of thinking about stuff. Boy overcomplicates his life, ok.
