Introduction
Kiba sniffed the warm summer air, and shaked off dirt off her snow white coat. It's not much camaflouge, but who needs to hide when your a big bad alpha female. She didn't have a mate or a pack, hence the reason she's searching for her mate. Kiba was a wolf with rare emerald green eyes, and precious icy snow white fur. Her temper was like a alpha. But she calms down in front of a pontential mate. But fairly aggresive towards intruders. Kiba was a lone wolf, she was always traveling, doing everything alone. Kiba shifted her head to the left, then to right. She inhaled and exhaled deeply. She raised her head towards the scorching sun, puffed up her cheast, and gave a long nice howl. She zipped off, searching and searching, for the life she wanted.

Varg? Nova was not familiar with the term, but he could tell from her tone of voice that he had said something wrong. Nova was stoic in the face of her lecturing, observing internally the passion that seemed to emanate from the wolves body. It was remarkable really, how flat one minute this wolf could be, only to leap into chords of scolding the next. It took him a moment to register that she had stopped her speaking and gone off to investigate, leaving time for Nova to contemplate the conversation that had just occurred. Risks. Chance. Gambling. Were those the concepts required to be a good predator? Was risk required for a wolf to earn his claws and teeth? That is not how Nova lived. He chose the safe route, though not always the easiest. Was he not then a competent predator?
Nova sighed, mutter something inaudible beneath his breath, and took a parting glance to where Aylen had disappeared into the bush. She was a mysterious wolf, seeming to be repressing something beneath her layers of hardness. Why did it seem that all these wolves have been battling demons within themselves? Nova couldn't ponder the issue any longer, he would never understand. He stared at his reflection in the nearby water. How can one who had it all understand how those who have come from a broken life feel?

Still in her slumber, Kiba was eavsdropping the whole time, and thought, "A wolf is a wolf wether no claws, teeth, abilty to hear or see, all a wolf needs is spirit. " She squirmed in her hole. She was stuck. She whimpered but not to loudly to embarass herself. "Help." she said quietlly.

Aylen heard a faint whisper for help. She growled and limped toward the voice.... and stopped. It was Kiba. And she was stuck. Aylen ears perked forward with amusement. "hmm. You seem to be stuck."

Hearing the horrid laughter she twisted her neck at the end and got out. She was growling almost instantly. She beamed ger green eyes at Aylen, looking like Satin's pet. Looking from the side but still looking right at her, she said, "Well, now i know who to call. Certainly not you. Full of aggression she left her bone and trotted away with a face full of embarrassment.

After watching Aylen leave and having his zen moment, Nova went back to what he had been doing previously. Unsuccessfully. Nova was forced to conclude that a wolf was not meant to catch a fish. Soaking wet and a little annoyed, he shook out his fur. Fish probably don't taste that good anyway. He heard some kind of commotion in the distance, in the general direction that Aylen had left to. Realizing that he had gotten a negative response last time he had investigated, Nova decided to let it be.

Kiba was grumpy and not in the mood to speak. She glanced Nova on a rock and just kept walking. She stopped in front of a river and saw salmon. She got ready to pounce and jumped on the fish, but it jumped up and slapped her across the snout. She jabbed her claws into the fish but it got away. Kiba walked up the river and heard a rustle. It was a doe with big ears. Kiba ran towards the doe but slipped and passed out for a minuite.
Another rustle broke the silence, not sure it was the doe, Kiba got up and peaked. It was a creature that was brown and giant. It was a grizzly. The big bear stood up and roared. Kiba ran as fast her legs could take her. Not foucusing she rammed into the rock Nova was on. She gave a little cry and said, "Grizzly......over......east" She walked over to a place near the rock. Her blood was dripping from her head again but she was a hard head, she didn't care. She just wanted to alert the others.

Nova toppled off the rock in a half daze, not sure what had caught him off balance. He groggily heard a frantic Kiba run by shouting about danger. He noticed she was bleeding and the thought that she had actually tried to go up against the bear stunned him. "You tried to fight it?" Nova said, confused. He had never gone up against a full grown grizzly bear before, and he didn't intent to, even if a predator was supposedly supposed to take risks. He scanned the horizon, and didn't see it charging or giving chase yet. Backing up to where she was, he looked at her wound.
"Are you all right? Is the bear chasing you?" he asked hurriedly, looking into the trees.

"Noo....i fell on rocks and crashed into your rock...that bear went after a doe.....to big to fight." She said slowly and slurred. She rested her head and closed her eyes. She took a deep breath and questioned Nova "Who do you think should be alpha...My vote is on.. Uhhhh.. either you or Hunter. If not me." Kiba added. She looked at the blood mark on the rock "Ow...." She exclamied.

She is talking about this now, Nova wondered. She must have hit her head harder than he thought. He noticed she didn't say anything about Aylen, maybe they haven't met much yet? "We should decide as a group" Nova responded, trying to brush off the question. She had said that the bear had become distracted and stopped chasing her, but nevertheless he still kept a wary eye on the forest. "You should really try to take it easy with that wound" Nova recommended, wincing a moment later when he remembered what happened last time he had given similar advice to Aylen.

Aylen burst into another fit of laughter after Kiba left. She just couldn't stop until she heard Hunter's name. Aylen stood up and inspected her wound. It was still bleeding a little but it didn't hurt that bad and the fur around it was matted. She stood up and started walking in the direction she last saw her brother. He was gone. Her breathing grew rapidly as she looked at the surrounding horizon. She didn't see her brother's shadow. Aylen lowered her snout and started smelling the ground for her brother's scent, she followed his scent trail until she came to a river too big, fast, and strong for her to swim across with her wounded leg. She let out howl full of distress, sadness and anger. Her brother had left her... alone.

She got bored and got curious and asked, "Nova.... what's your story? did you run away from your mom or they abandoned you? What's your story?" She asked while is getting up and wobbling like crazy. She fell on her side, then got up again and saw Aylen growl at a human being. Kiba glanced at Nova to come. She got closer to the fence. It was like a herd, or pack of these humans. Kiba wanted to get up the fence, but she was too injured. She watched the humans closley.

"Don't bother warning her, she would just snap at you." Kiba said rolling her eyes. She obvouisly didn't like her. Kiba saw a young human male. Not a child, but not an adult. She studied him carefully. They made eye contact and saw him drop his stuff and run to his cheif and all Kiba saw was wide eyes, a moving mouth, and pointing fingers. Then the two went inside a shelter quickly, and came out with a weapon. A rifle. "What is that..," Kiba questioned Nova. The weapon made an awful noise when shot up at the sky. Kiba kept her ground though.

Nova instinctively hit the ground when he heard the crack of the rifle, and he wasn't able to locate the source of the noise until a second shot was fired. "Humans weren't born with weapons, so they made their own" Nova explained to her, remembering what he had been taught. Nova was tense staring into the chaos that was happening in the encampment. The humans had not noticed Kiba and himself, and Nova was struggling with the decision to try and go in to get Aylen himself. But what would Kiba do if they were both killed? She was in no state to fight. Nova surprised himself with this last thought. Once again, he was getting back into the pack mentality, and was beginning to think of the group as a whole.

Aylen threw herself at the human cub when she heard the fire-stick. She landed on the human cub which was crying now and looked up, into the eyes of the human. She snarled, bared her teeth and darted at him pushing him over using her weight. The human put up his fire-stick and tried pushing her off but instead she snapped her jaws on the fire-stick, it didn't break. The human made a high pitched sound and then she heard another fire-stick go off. Aylen looked up and saw another human with a small fire-stick.
Aylen let go of the fire-stick and snarled at the human, ignoring the one beneath her struggling to move. She feinted to the left and ran at the human. Instead of going for his throat she went for his leg, only to get a mouthful of the leggings of pants. She let go and bit harder. Now she was telling him to leave? Nova did not need a second bidding, however, for he soon saw a second human with a weapons appear and heard the awful noise that it made. "Well come on then" Nova urged, hurrying her along so that he could get up and run as well. He heard a high pitch scream near his ear, disappearing as soon as it had appeared. It sounded like a gnat had just flown past his ear, but more deadly.

"Death pellets." Aylen muttered under her breath and took off for the forest. The pain in her back leg was intensifying but she ignored it of course. She had much worse but then again she didn't go on rampage with the others.

Like any animal, Nova assumed that humans could not kill when they could not see where their prey is, and as soon as they crested a hill and were on a reverse slope, he stopped. The fence would keep the humans in their encampment, and he doubted they would pursue, even with his limited knowledge of their race. "What were you thinking back there? Is that one of those supposed 'risks', we predators are supposed to take?" Nova asked Aylen, frustrated.

Kiba was frozen, staring at the humans. She noticed Nova and Aylen ran away, but these humans were too intresting. From hearing the gunshots, Kiba flinced, but didn't flee. She watched the young man, startled and having an attack. What are they doing here? Do they want us? What do they want? All these questions ran through her head. One last gunshot scared the living hell out of her, so she cried loudly, even though she WAS NOT hurt. She ran away to the rock Nova was on earlier, she was aware of her surrondings, if she was followed. A few minutes later it was dark, so Kiba got onto the rock and howled.

Aylen glared at Nova. "It was nothing..." She snorted when she heard Kiba's howl. She sat down and started licking her wound clean. "Not like anyone cares if I lost my black hide." She said as she stood up and started walking in the opposite direction, away from Kiba. The she-wolf named Kiba wasn't like the others. She was Lera, not predator. Aylen's eyes adjusted to the darkness as she walked farther into the forest, heading for the mountions. The mountions were her home, not the low valleys.

Nova watched as the steady yet unyielding pace of life was about to leave him behind. Aylen was knowingly going the opposite direction of Kiba, leaving Nova trying to figure out what to do. He was able to put two and two together to figure out that Hunter had abandoned the group as judging by Aylen's earlier mourning, yet it seems like she was trying to follow his example. He unaware of Kiba's situation, and why she had not followed them straight out, but he was also able to infer there was a slight tension between her and the other she-wolf. Who would try to follow them if he went after the other?
Sighing, Nova tried one last effort with Aylen. Walking up behind her before she had gone to far, Nova conversed with her. "Look Aylen. I am trying to care for you black hide, but you are making it awfully difficult for me to do so. I would appreciate it very much so if you would not go out into the night just to get yourself killed, and came back to the pack that you committed to. Please." Nova asked as kindly as he could bear. Kindness towards those who have shown him none was perhaps one of the hardest things he would have to learn to do.

"Err...sorry." Nova conceded, relieved that she at least replied. But not very constructively. "I am going to go back to Kiba right now to make sure she didn't pass out from that head wound, for her howling has stopped. Are you going to give me a chance and come back with me to the pack?" Nova replied, issuing his ultimatum. He stood in his place, watching her closely. Something he had previously said had sparked some sort of emotion in her, but good manners and the situation prevented him from pressing the issue.

Kiba heard the words of hatred and just smiled. "Too bad your still alive to be a wannabee alpha and a waste of life." Kiba thought. "Good to see you to didn't maul eachother with words." Said Kiba. "I need alone time from wolves." Said Kiba while she was trotting away.
She reached to her hole and saw it was wrecked from a bear. She thought positivly like how bigger it is. So she thought it through and slept in it. "I am regretting joining this pack. I am more of a lone wolf." Kiba said to herself. Finally, a time to escape the cruel world, to a place olny I can dominate. Kiba thought as she drempt away.
